Abstract

Handling the problem of poverty is one of the issues of concern to the government in any country. Various strategies have been implemented by the government to improve the lives of people still do not show satisfactory results shown with still many poor people. Similarly, the problem of poverty in the district  Abiansemal  one of the efforts taken in poverty reduction is based on community empowerment through PNPM .               The purpose of this study was to assess the effectiveness and impact of PNPM program to Welfare and Employment Opportunities Target Households in the district  Abiansemal. The analytical tool used in the study is to determine the level of statistical deskiptif  program effectiveness, and two different test average pairwise observations to determine the impact of the program on Welfare and Employment Opportunities Target Households. Results of the analysis showed that the effectiveness of PNPM in the district  Abiansemal as very effective at 84.52 persen. Based on two different test average pairwise observations income and employment opportunities Target Households showed significant results in alpha 5 percent. The average income of the month before the program Rp.2.066.000, after  the program Rp.2.961.000 , - and the number of working hours on average, one day before the program 5.86 hours,  increased to 8.29 hours after the program. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of work motivation on job satisfaction, motivation influence on intention to quit and influence job satisfaction with the intention to quit. Respondents in this study were all medical staff who served in Karangasem district health centers. In this study, all of population members are samples. Instruments research using questionnaires and analysis is PLS (Partial Least Square). The variables used are the work motivation, job satisfaction and intention to quit. The results of this study indicate that work motivation variable has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. Work motivation variable has a negative and significant effect on intention to quit. Job satisfaction variable has a negative and significant effect on intention to quit. To reduce the intention to quit is to increase motivation and job satisfaction. Intention to quit the decline is expected to improve the quality of care that can be given by medical staff. Its application can be done with a fair treatment from a health center head against medical staff, equal opportunities in terms of career promotion and fair distribution of services

Abstract

The aspects of personality is one of the important factors that determine performance of an analyst in analyzing credit. Lending must be effective in order to avoid an inflation and collapse of the real sector. The purpose of this research is to obtain empirical evidence the aspect of personality such as Machiavellian personality, organizational commitment, and locus of control on the lending effectiveness. Data analysis techniques are multiple linier regression analysis. The results of research prove that the higher Machiavellian personality and locus of control of external causes the level of effectiveness of loans lower. The higher organizational commitment and internal locus of control causes the level of effectiveness on the higher loans. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze : external factors in order to identify opportunities and threats of Gramedia Duta Plaza Bookstore; internal factors in order to identify strengths and weaknesses of Gramedia Duta Plaza Bookstore; business position of  Gramedia Duta Plaza Bookstore, and; the most relevant strategies used in business for Gramedia Duta Plaza Bookstore in the future. To answer the aims of this study, a research was conducted with nine people on the key management as main respondents, and seven external respondents for confirmation. SWOT analysis method  is used to find external factors and internal factors of the company. The analytical technique used was IE Matrix. The results showed that an adequate strategy to be implemented by the company in the future is a strategy to grow and develop (growth and build). The implication of the research object in the future is to bring the attention of management to focusing on the strategies facing "discount war” made vigorously by competitors, maximizing the company's strategic location to optimize the limited space, creating an independent creative promotion to answer the centralized promotion system, and evaluating the procurement system by supplying best seller products, and products required by consumers.
