Abstract

Role conflict can be experienced by many professions that can affect the satisfaction and job performance of the employees in performing their duties and role. This study aims to determine the effect of role conflict toward job satisfaction and performance. The populations in this study are pastor in the Protestant Christian Church in Bali. Sampling was carried out research with saturated or census sampling method in order to get results that has a small error rate and tend to be closer to the true value based on the prescribed criteria, so the sample size of this study as many as 56 Pastors. The research data is primary data obtained from questionnaires distributed throughout the Pastors. Research hypothesis testing is using SEM (Sequential Analysis Modeling) techniques based on covariant Partial Least Square (PLS) with tools SmartPLS application.The results showed that: (1) Role conflict significant negative effect on job performance. (2) Role Conflict and significant negative effect on job satisfaction. (3) Job satisfaction significant positive effect on job performance.

Abstract

Financial management of the local government is based on the concept of Value for Money, so that each program and activity implemented by the government need to be evaluated in terms of its effectiveness. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effectiveness of Jembrana government's financial information system, from the dimensions of the quality of system, information, services, management motivation, users’ satisfaction, and benefits of the system for the organization. The study was conducted at 38 SKPD of Jembrana Regency Government The study sample consisted of 114 employees directly involved with financial management. Data were collected using a questionnaire and further analyzed by using descriptive analysis and with the technique Partial Least Square (PLS). The results showed that the effectiveness of the SIKD of the Jembrana Government was effective. Testing the hypothesis using the PLS indicated that the quality of the systems and the information was significant and having a direct impact on the users’ satisfaction and indirectly significantly affect the profit/benefits of the system for the organizations through intervening the users’ satisfaction. The users’ satisfaction and management motivation was significant and had a direct effect on the system benefits for the organization. To improve the effectiveness of information systems, it is necessary to improve the service quality and users’ satisfaction surveys for the information system should be done on a regular basis as an evaluation and input to the development of the system so that the implementation of information systems becomes really efficient, economical, effective and accountable

Abstract

Economic development is the main road to prosper.The results of hypothesis testing was done by using structural equation modeling (SEM) showed that the understanding of the tax regulations and significant positive effect on adherence pay taxes in Badung.

Abstract

Leadership plays an important role in an organization, the leader is the main driving force in the organization so that all of the goals, vision and mission of the organization can be achieved, to achieve all that organizations need to pay attention to the efforts that the work motivation of teachers and employees are motivated to work more optimally and providing all resources to the organization. So teachers and staff need to be supported by giving attention to the needs of teachers and staff. Job satisfaction of teachers and employees seen from the high level of perceived satisfaction in working condition, while the performance of teachers and staff, the increase of the existing competence is from generating optimal performance. The population in this study were all the teachers and staff of the Dwijendra high school unit Denpasar, the sampling method used is the census and the sample size of 60 people. Examiners research hypotheses using PLS with the data processing program. These results indicated that: (1) the positive effect of behavior leader on work motivation. (2) the positive effect of behavior leader on job satisfaction. (3) the positive effect of behavior leader on performance. (4) work motivation positive effect on performance. (5) job satisfaction has positive influence on performance. The implication of this study were behavior leader, work motivation, job satisfaction, performance of teachers and staff need to be improved in order to increase the job satisfaction of teachers and staff of the Dwijendra high school unit Denpasar. If the increased satisfaction would be able to improve the performance of the teachers and staff of the high school Dwijendra Denpasar.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to obtain evidence between individuals who have an internal locus of control and external locus of control to commit fraud, in both with or without the authority of superiors to commint fraud and using experiment 2x2 factorial design to prove those objectives. The population in this study are Pejabat Pelaksana Teknis Kegiatan (PPTK) on Tabanan Regency Government. This study indicate, that the condition there were authority  delegated from superior to commit fraud, tend to influence individual to act unethically. It also shows, that relation between the authority of superior to fraud becomes higher in individuals who have external locus of control with  authority of superiors to commint fraud condition and relation between the authority of superior to fraud becomes lower in individuals with internal locus of control, when there is no authority of superiors to commint fraud condition.
