Abstract

The depik (Rasbora tawarensis) is one of the leading fishery commodities in Central Aceh Regency and is endemic to Laut Tawar Lake. Due to overfishing and environmental degradation, the depik is now endangered, necessitating domestication. The success of the domestication stage is influenced by providing feed that meets the fish's needs, such as Artemia encapsulated with spirulina to enhance the nutritional quality of the Artemia. This study aims to evaluate the effect. of spirulina dosage as an Artemia enrichment material on the growth performance of depik. The applied research design was a completely randomized design with four treatments replicated four times. The treatments included Artemia without bioencapsulation (Treatment 1/P1), Artemia bioencapsulation with 0.5 g of spirulina powder per liter of water (Treatment 2/P2), Artemia bioencapsulation with 1 g of spirulina powder per liter of water (Treatment 3/P3), and Artemia bioencapsulation with 2 g of spirulina powder per liter of water (Treatment 4/P4). The parameters observed were absolute length growth (ALG), absolute weight growth (AWG), specific growth rate (SGR), and survival rate. Based on the ANOVA test, different doses of spirulina had a significant effect (P < 0.05) on the growth and survival of depik fry. The higher the dose given, the higher the growth and survival performance produced. Based on the Duncan test, the best treatment was shown in Treatment 4, namely the provision of bioencapsulated Artemia with 2 g of spirulina powder as feed for the depik fry.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the growth performance of gourami fish (Osphronemus gouramy) fed with Daphnia sp. enriched with Viterna at different doses. The research used an experimental method with four treatments and three replications. The treatments consisted of P1 (0 ml/L as control), P2 (10 ml/L), P3 (20 ml/L), and P4 (30 ml/L) of Viterna enrichment. Data were analyzed using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) followed by Duncan’s Multiple Range Test to determine significant differences among treatments. The results showed that Viterna enrichment significantly affected absolute length growth, absolute weight growth, and daily growth rate (P<0.05), but had no significant effect on survival rate (P>0.05). The highest absolute length growth was observed in P4 (1.79 cm), which was not significantly different from P3 (1.39 cm), while the lowest was found in P1 (0.35 cm). The highest absolute weight growth was also found in P4 (1.91 g), which was not significantly different from P3 (1.64 g), while the lowest was in P1 (0.69 g). The highest daily growth rate was recorded in P4 (3.20%), which was not significantly different from P3 (3.13%), while the lowest was in P1 (2.46%). Based on the results, the enrichment of Daphnia sp. with Viterna at a dose of 20 ml/L (P3) is considered the most effective treatment for improving the growth of gourami fish.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memastikan populasi ideal untuk perkembangan dan keberadaan ikan jurung yang dibesarkan di keramba selama 40 hari dengan diberi pakan buatan dengan pemberian sekenyang-kenyangya menghabiskan pakan sebanyak 4 kg, ikan yang digunakan 200 ekor. Metodologi yang digunakan yaitu eksperimen, yang memiliki 4 perlakuan, dan diulangi 3 kali. P1 (5 ikan/0,5m3), P2 (10 ikan/0,5m3), P3 (15 ikan/0,5m3), dan P4 (20 ikan/0,5m3). Hasil dari perlakuan tersebut berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan panjang mutlak, pertumbuhan bobot mutlak, laju pertumbuhan panjang spesifik, dan laju pertumbuhan bobot spesifik. Sedangkan pada sintasan tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan. Pertumbuhan panjang mutlak tertinggi pada P1 sebesar 0,57cm, sedangkan pertumbuhan panjang mutlak terendah pada P4 sebesar 0,37cm.  Pertumbuhan bobot mutlak tertinggi pada P1 sebesar 0,99g, sedangkan pertumbuhan bobot mutlak terendah pada P4 sebesar 0,85g, laju pertumbuhan panjang spesifik tertinggi pada P1 sebesar 0.014%, sedangkan laju pertumbuhan panjang spesifik terendah pada P4 sebesar 0,009%, dan laju pertumbuhan bobot spesifik tertinggi pada P1 sebesar 0,025%, sedangkan laju pertumbuhan bobot spesifik terendah pada P4 sebesar 0,021%. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa semakin sedikit padat tebar ikan dalam satu wadah, semakin cepat pertumbuhan; begitu sebaliknya, semakin padat ikan dalam suatu wadah semakin lambat pertumbuhan.

Abstract

Kepiting bakau (Scylla sp.) merupakan komoditas perikanan yang mempunyainilaiekonomis tinggi dan menjadisalahsatu produkperikanan yang unggul. Permintaan kepiting bakau terus meningkat, sehingga diperlukan usaha intensifuntuk membudidayakan kepiting bakau. Kepiting bakau memiliki nilai ekonomi yang tinggi. Namun, pembudidaya sering menghadapi masalah dalam budidaya kepiting bakau, yaitu pergantian kulit yangmembutuhkan waktu yang lama sehingga pertumbuhannya menjadi tidakseragam. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan kecepatan pergantian kulit dan menyeragamkan pertumbuhan dengan teknologi alternatitif dosis ekstrak daun bayam yang dapat diaplikasikan melaluipenyuntikan.Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah metode Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan 3 tiga ulangan. Adapun perlakuan yang akan dilakukan adalah: P0 = (kontrol), P1 (Ekstrak daun bayam 3 µl/g) , P2 (Ekstrak daun bayam 5 µl/g) dan P3 (Ekstrak daun bayam 7 µl/g). Parameter yang diamati:, Laju Pertumbuhan Harian, rasio Konversi Pakan, Persentase molting, Survial rate (SR) dan Pengamatan Kualitas Air.Hasil penelitian yaitu Pengaruh pemberian ekstrak daun bayam merah (Amaranthus tricolor L.) terhadap keberhasilan molting kepiting bakau (scylla serrata) berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap Laju Pertumbuhan Harian (LPH), Rasio Konversi Pakan (FCR), dan Persentase Molting. Namun tidak memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap Survival Rate (SR) kepiting bakau (Scylla serrata).

Abstract

Milkfish (Chanos chanos) is a species of high economic value and one of the primary commodities in aquaculture. This study aimed to evaluate the effect of different doses of Probiotic-7 applied to the rearing medium on water quality and the growth performance of milkfish fingerlings. The experiment was conducted using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with five treatments and three replicates: P1 (control, without Probiotic-7), P2 (1 mL/L), P3 (2 mL/L), P4 (3 mL/L), and P5 (4 mL/L). The best absolute length and weight growth were observed in treatment P3, with a weight gain of 3.83 g. Treatment P3 also exhibited the highest specific growth rate (SGR) of 5.1% and the most efficient feed conversion ratio (FCR) of 1.21. The highest survival rates were recorded in treatments P2 and P3, reaching 97.77%. Throughout the rearing period, water quality parameters remained within optimal ranges: salinity 26–29 ppt, temperature 29–30°C, pH 7.6–7.8, dissolved oxygen (DO) 7–7.8 mg/L, and ammonia 0.03–0.18 mg/L. These findings indicate that administering Probiotic-7 at a dose of 2 mL/L effectively enhances the growth and survival of milkfish fingerlings while maintaining water quality within suitable limits for cultivation.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian probiotik pada media pemeliharaan terhadap kualitas air dan pertumbuhan benih ikan baung (Mystus nemurus). Rancangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap dengan 4 perlakuan 3 ulangan. Perlakuan yang diberikan adalah perbedaan jumlah probiotik yang ditambahkan yaitu yang terdiri dari perlakuan tanpa penambahan probiotk, perlakuan dengan penambahan probiotik sebanyak 0,5 ml/L, 1 ml/L, 1,5 ml/L. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kualitas air pada masa penelitian tidak berpengaruh dan menghasilkan pertumbuhan panjang mutlak 6,30 cm, pertumbuhan berat mutlak 7,60 gr, survival rate 100%, laju pertumbuhan spesifik 4,78% dan rasio konfersi pakan 3,3%. Kata kunci : Ikan baung, kualitas air, probiotik. ABSTRACTThis research was conducted to find out the effect of probiotics administration on maintenance media on water quality and growth of baung fish seed (Mystus nemurus). The design used in this study was a Complete Randomized Design with 4 treatments of 3 repeats. The treatment given is the difference in the amount of probiotics added that consists of treatment without the addition of probiotk, treatment with the addition of probiotics as much as 0.5 ml / L, 1 ml / L, 1.5 ml / L. The results showed that water quality during the study had no effect and resulted in absolute long growth of 6.30 cm, absolute weight growth of 7.60 gr, survival rate of 100%, specific growth rate of 4.78% and feed confetti ratio of 3.3%.
