Abstract

Mining business activities in addition to producing mineral and coal production, also produce solid and liquid hazardous and toxic waste materials that have the potential to pollute the environment and can reduce the quality of human health and other living things mining. PT Semen Padang as the holder of a Production Operation Mining Business Permit (IUP OP), in addition to producing mining commodities in the form of limestone, silica, and clay, also has the potential to produce hazardous and toxic waste materials from mining activities, especially from the results of activities in mining workshops, both solid waste and liquid waste. For this reason, it is necessary to properly manage hazardous and toxic waste materials. PT Semen Padang has now carried out hazardous and toxic waste disposal by temporarily storing the hazardous and toxic waste it produces which is stored in a temporary storage area for hazardous and toxic waste materials.

Abstract

Coronaviruses (CoV) are a large family of viruses that cause illness ranging from mild to severe. Based on the mayor's circular, all schools in the city of Padang are activated while still observing health protocols. The purpose of this service is to provide understanding to school children about the importance of using masks in the community according to the recommendations for implementing health protocols as an effort to increase awareness about the importance of early prevention of the COVID-19 virus. The method of activity used in this community service activity is the dissemination of the importance of using masks during the COVID-19 pandemic as an effort to implement health protocols in order to create prevention of the Covid-19 virus in the community in dealing with the current pandemic situation. The implementation is to do presentations at school by providing socialization to students/school children and also providing brochures so that students understand the importance of using masks while carrying out learning at school. Basically, students really understand the importance of wearing masks during the COVID-19 pandemic, especially in the school environment. But sometimes there are still many students who don't want to wear masks on the grounds that it's hard to breathe, it's hot and they are in the room for a long time. Of the 10 high schools that will be socialized, only 5 high schools are willing to do the socialization, namely: SMA SIMA, PGRI 3, SMAN 6, PGAI, and Development. This service activity can increase the knowledge and understanding of high school students/children about the importance of using masks during the COVID-19 pandemic. So that in the future the quality of people's lives will improve and the spread of COVID-19 can be reduced.

Abstract

One of the health problems that occurs in the world is stunting. Stunting or what is commonly known as short toddlers is a condition where toddlers are less tall compared to their age. West Sumatra Province is ranked 17th out of 34 provinces that experience stunting with a prevalence of stunting in toddlers (aged 24-59 months) of 36.2%, which is higher than the national prevalence, namely 30.8%. Stunting can also occur due to direct factors of stunting such as maternal nutrition during pregnancy, toddler nutrition and disease infections. Apart from direct factors, there are also indirect factors that can occur from various aspects, one of which is water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH). This research uses a literature study method using PICO. The research results obtained were that there was a relationship between the LBW factor (lower baby weight) and the incidence of stunting in toddlers, three articles were obtained. Two articles were found regarding the relationship between exclusive breastfeeding and MP-ASI. On the relationship between parenting styles, four articles were found. Three articles were found regarding the relationship between sanitation and the environment. Three articles were found regarding the relationship between height and height. One article was found regarding the relationship between zinc levels. On the relationship between mother's work, one article was found. Regarding the history of infectious diseases, one article was found. One article was found regarding the relationship between the age of pregnant women and the incidence of stunting in toddlers. From the conclusion above regarding the relationship between environmental sanitation and hygiene on stunting among toddlers in West Sumatra, the most common one is parenting patterns in children.Keyword : abstract; nutrition; words; research

Abstract

A medical resume is a summary of all services received by patients during treatment or treatment carried out by health workers. The incompleteness of filling in inpatient medical resumes in hospitals still exists such as lack of attitude and knowledge of health workers, busyness of doctors, absence of SOPs, disagreement with the time limit for filling out medical resumes, which is 1x24 hours. The purpose of this study was to describe the attitudes and knowledge of medical officers to the completeness of filling out an inpatient medical resume. The data used is secondary data, then the data is analyzed by looking for similarities, dissimilarities, views, comparisons and summaries of several research results. The results of the study from 10 journals showed that there were still incomplete medical resumes, due to the lack of knowledge and attitude of officers regarding the importance of completing medical resumes, the unavailability of SOPs for filling out resumes, busy doctors serving patients, resulting in limited time to complete them and the discipline of the doctor in charge. which is still low. From the researcher's analysis, it was concluded that the high number of completeness of completing inpatient medical resumes in hospitals was due to undisciplined officers and the lack of knowledge of officers about filling out resumes. In order to increase the completeness of filling in inpatient medical resumes in hospitals, health workers need to cooperate with each other in filling out medical record documents, especially medical resume sheets in order to create a good, complete and accurate filling.

Abstract

Indonesia is one of the developing countries that experiences diarrhea problems. This is because of its high morbidity and mortality. Diarrhea is an endemic disease that has the potential to cause Extraordinary Events (KLB) which are often accompanied by death in Indonesia. Most diarrheal diseases can be prevented through safe drinking water and adequate sanitation and hygiene. This study aims to determine the relationship between environmental sanitation and the incidence of diarrhea in toddlers. This research uses a systematic review method (Systematic Review) which is a research method for identifying, evaluating, and interpreting research results that are relevant to a particular research topic, or phenomenon that is the focus of the research. The results of this research show that there is a relationship between environmental sanitation such as the physical quality of water, ownership of a toilet, type of floor in the house, and the incidence of diarrhea. It is hoped that after this research is carried out, mothers and health policy stakeholders such as the health department and community health centers can improve residential environmental health programs to have physically clean water quality and good environmental sanitation. Abstract

Stunting is a growth and development disorder in children caused by chronic malnutrition and recurrent infections, and is characterized by height or height below normal. The short-term impact of stunting can be reduced learning ability due to lack of cognitive development. Stunting is a nutritional problem caused by multifactors, namely social factors, biological factors and environmental factors. Environmental conditions such as poor water and sanitation are indirect factors that cause stunting in children. This research aims to analyze the factors that influence stunting in toddlers. The research design used was the literature review method. A total of 20 articles from the Google Scholar database were reviewed in this research with criteria published in 2019-2023. This study was prepared using a narrative method. Articles were grouped with similar results to answer research questions. This study found that theoretically, sanitation and water quality have an influence on the occurrence of stunting events. Conclusion: In overcoming stunting, environmental factors must be considered to improve the quality of drinking water so that it meets health standards and is suitable and safe for consumption. It is recommended to maintain good sanitation to prevent the emergence of disease outbreaks which increase the number of illnesses and deaths.
