Abstract

Artikel ini ditujukan menelaah transformasi dan transmisi moderasi beragama yang ada di PTKI dan PTN dalam ranah digital dan memahami kecerdasan dalam memanfaatkan informasi, media dan teknologi untuk keperluan menjaga moderasi beragama yang dihadapkan dengan narasi keagamaan. Artikel ini ditulis dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif yang mengedepankan interpretasi peneliti dalam melihat data-data dan fakta yang ada, metode penulisannya menggunakan pendekatan studi kepustakaan (library research). Peneliti menelaah gagasan-gagasan tentang moderasi beragama melalui data-data publikasi terkait moderasi yang ada kemudian ditabulasi dan diklasifikasi serta diinterpretasi untuk dapat menjawab tujuan dari penelitian ini. Artikel ini mengungkapkan bahwa pengarustamaan moderasi beragama tidak bisa bergerak sendiri, namun harus berjalan beriringan untuk mencapai target yang diinginkan. Apa yang dilakukan oleh Perguruan Tinggi Keagamaan Islam dalam mengarusutamakan moderasi beragama dalam ruang digital merupakan bentuk kesadaran yang menemukan relevansinya seiring isu-isu keagamaan di cyber space. Kepercayaan terhadap nilai moderasi dan kebersamaan kemudian lenyap dimakan oleh narasi keagamaan yang tendensius dan menonjolkan fanatisme kebenaran. Upaya bersama dalam membangun moderasi perlu didukung dari dari kebijakan Kementerian Agama bekerja sama dengan Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi untuk penguatan moderasi beragama, salah satunya dengan pendirian rumah moderasi beragama di PTU yang ada di Indonesia.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan kesalahan-kesalahan yang sering dilakukan oleh mahasiswa semester satu dalam maharat qira’ah khususnya kesalahan yang terletak pada nahwiyahnya serta aspek-aspek yang mempengaruhi timbulnya kesalahan tersebut dan memberikan solusi terhadap permasalan yang terjadi. Solusi yang diberikan oleh penulis dan juga narasumber terhadap permasalahan ini yaitu dengan memperbanyak latihan soal dan literasi berbahasa arab untuk meningkatkan kualitas pemahaman maharat qira’ah. Jenis kesalahan yang dibahas penulis berfokus pada aspek nahwu. Jenis metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Adapun teknik yang digunakan oleh peneliti menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan metode tes. Subjek oenelitian yang dipiliah merupakn mahasiswa Pendidikan bahasa arab semester satu di UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan berdasarkan pada informasi dan data yang telah diperoleh menyatakan bahwa kesalahan pada maharat qira’ah mayoritas terletak pada naibul fa’il, mubtada khabar dan isim isyaroh, dan athaf-ma’thuf. Faktor yang menyebabkan terjadinya kesalahan tersebut diakibatkan oleh kurangnya pemahaman mahasiswa tentang materi yang dipelajari dan kurangnya ketelitian dalam memahami dan mencermati soal.

Abstract

The lack of accuracy of PBA students causes deviations in imla' rules in writing Arabic scientific papers. In fact, after studying for 4 years, students should be able to minimize errors in writing. Arabic has become an international language that is studied by various groups. For foreign speakers of Arabic may experience difficulties both in pronunciation and writing. This research is an error analysis research that aims to identify hamzah writing errors in the thesis abstracts of Arabic Language Education Study Program students of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. This research was conducted by using descriptive qualitative method in data processing. The findings of this study reveal the fact that there are still some common mistakes made by PBA students in writing hamzah in an Arabic word. Based on the research that has been conducted using 25 sample data, 42 errors were found which are divided into 7 categories. The most mistakes are found in the 4th category, namely the use of hamzah in isim mashdar from fi'il khumasi and sudasi. With the discovery of many errors in the writing of hamzah, it is necessary to further explore the rules of imla', especially in the writing of hamzah.

Abstract

In Arabic learning, case study method is substantial. It can make a major contribution in diagnosing cases or problems that occur in the learning process and offering solutions. The purpose of this research is to reveal the response and understanding of prospective Arabic language learning researchers to the case study method. This research is a mixed methods and the place of research is the field. The data of this research were the head and the secretary of the department, 6 lecturers, and 75 students of the Master program in Arabic Education at three universities, which were UIN Jakarta, UIN Malang, and UIN Tulungagung. The data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, documentation, and FGD. Miles and Huberman model were used in this research. The findings of this research were the understanding and responses of Arabic language learning researchers towards the case study method. The indicators were: a) The case study method was discussed during lectures with lecturers, b) The majority of PBA Masters students are interested in the case study method, c) The majority of PBA Masters students were quite understand the case study methodology, d) The majority of PBA Masters students recommend the case study method to be studied and used as a thesis research method, e) The majority of PBA Masters students were interested in applying the case study method in their thesis research. This research contributed to strengthen and develop the learning methodology for research methodology subject and thesis proposal seminars subject.

Abstract

Learning Maharah Qiroah at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta is an important subject during semesters 1-3. This course significantly helps students in reading Arabic texts. However, achieving success in this course requires students to overcome various problems they face, both linguistic and non-linguistic. This study follows a descriptive approach and collects data through observation and interviews. The results of this study highlight the problems faced by Arabic Language Education Students in reading Arabic texts at Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University Jakarta, and provide possible solutions. Firstly, many students face linguistic and non-linguistic difficulties while learning Maharah Qiroah. Secondly, self-motivation is crucial for students to overcome these difficulties. Additionally, providing interesting texts as a learning medium can encourage students to read more.

Abstract

This research was conducted to investigate and determine the accuracy of the automatic correction system for Arabic texts. The focus of this research was the autocorrection system found in the Sahehly application, with analysis conducted on the harakat, tarakib, and grammatical aspects of the Arabic language. Accuracy is a very important part of an application system because accuracy can influence correct results and reduce the occurrence of errors. This study examined the review of the autocorrect system in the Sahehly application. The sample text used was the book of Fathul Qorib in the chapter of law and witnesses. The method used in this research was descriptive analysis with text study research design. From the results of the analysis, 3 words were found to be corrected with the application of Sahehly on grammatical aspects. However, when reviewed, the results of the Sahehly correction were less precise, and no changes needed to be made because they were correct. Then, the researchers found inaccuracies in 22 words that were given harakat by the Sahehly application. Thus, the presence of Sahehly is one of the developments of artificial intelligence (AI) in Arabic to provide harakat, but it is not fully perfect. Therefore, the use of Sahehly should be re-examined by referring to the knowledge that has been learned and referring to the available Arabic dictionaries and books.

Abstract

This research aims to identify the quantity, pattern, and characteristics of the irregular plural forms in Arabic, especially shighah muntaha al-jumu’ (ultimate plural) in the Qur'an. This research was conducted based on the many problems in identifying the pattern of ultimate plural. Although most of them are analogous, students still complain that it is complex, and as a solution they memorize. However, it still raises its own problems because of the many patterns. The study implemented a text study approach supported by data cards as a data collection instrument. The researchers managed to identify ultimate plural with a variety of patterns. This study found 245 ultimate plurals in the Quran. From these findings, researchers successfully found twelve (12) patterns of ultimate plural in the Quran. This finding certainly simplifies the nineteen (19) patterns of ultimate plural which Arabic language experts often introduce. The characteristics of ultimate plural can be identified from its singular form, which consists of words with at least four letters and the second letter is not a vowel. Meanwhile, when it comes to plural, the third letter is alif taksir followed by two or three letters. The patterns can be formulated in A-A/I, U-A/I, U-A/A and A-A/A.

Abstract

This research is aimed at revealing the existence of new alternatives in translation teaching media. Translation teaching media is still strongly suspected to be dominated by the use of dictionaries, both in print such as Munawir, Munjid, Mahmud Yunus, and digital dictionaries like al-Maany, Google Translate, and other applications. The alternative media offered is social media such as Twitter (X). Social media usually used in public communication can be utilized as an alternative for translation learning. How to utilize social media such as Twitter in translation learning? How accurate is social media in teaching Arabic-Indonesian or Indonesian-Arabic translation? This research falls under the category of qualitative research when viewed from the source of text data used. The method used in the research is descriptive qualitative method. The researcher will systematically present examples of using social media (Twitter) in translation learning. The data source in this study is tweets in Arabic language on Twitter. The results of this study indicate that Twitter can be an alternative translation teaching media. The auto-translate system available on Twitter provides several advantages in translation teaching, such as access to authentic and contemporary materials, development of translation speed and accuracy, exercise in finding equivalent words that are currently trending in the Arab world. However, the translations displayed by the auto-translate system on Twitter still need to be considered because there are various contexts that machine translators cannot read.

Abstract

This research is aimed at examining the BIPA teaching book "Language Friendly Volume 1" published by Antasari Banjarmasin State Islamic University from several aspects: First, a review of the suitability of the material with the Graduate Competency Standards (SKL) stipulated in the Permendikbub from its accuracy and cultural content. Second, this research is aimed at examining the suitability of material for Arabic speakers, this refers to the fact that Arabs often dominate BIPA participants at UIN Antasari. This study uses a qualitative approach because the data are in the form of narratives or text. The method used by researchers is content analysis. The indicators used in analyzing the book's content were adopted from Muslich, and the rating interval was adopted from the scale developed by Nurgiyantoro. The results of this study revealed that the BIPA textbook "Language Friendly Volume 1" designed for the A1 level of need, was still "not appropriate" with a percentage of 50%. The drawback is that the author is inconsistent in presenting the material, narrative, dialogue, and Indonesian insights. There is also material content that is not yet time to be delivered at the A1 level. This BIPA textbook is considered not suitable for use by Arabic speakers or even other foreign speakers.

Abstract

Because of a lack of understanding of students' vocabulary, the researcher picked this issue. The goal of this research is to determine the extent to which children can comprehend vocabulary and communicate, as well as the relationship between vocabulary understanding and speaking skills. A descriptive quantitative method as well as a correlational approach were adopted by the researcher. The average score of the students' written and oral test scores was calculated using the arithmetic mean. Product Moment Correlation was utilized to analyze the data. A total of 52 pupils were chosen for this investigation. Written tests, oral tests, direct observation, and interviews were employed by the researchers in this study to collect data. Because there is a relationship between the two, research suggests that teaching vocabulary comprehension and speaking abilities is excellent and successful.
