Abstract

This study aims to determine the ability of counselors to use basic counseling techniques in exploring the problems experienced by the counselee. The method used was descriptive survey research form. Data collection tools are questionnaires and interviews. Data analysis uses the percentage formula and rational analysis. The research population is 30 junior high school counselors who are members of the Musyawarah Guru Bimbingan dan Konseling Kubu Raya Regency. Determination of the sample using a total sampling technique. The general results of the study of counselors in the use of basic counseling techniques let the problem exploration stage obtained a score of 65% in the medium category. This means that the counselor has not been maximal in using basic counseling techniques at the problem exploration stage. When viewed from the sub-variables that get low scores, the skills to respond means that the counselor has not been able to use the skills to respond to content, respond to feelings and respond to meaning. The problem was that the counselor does not understand the basic techniques of counseling at the exploration stage of the problem, lacks self-development and was not accustomed to reading the latest literature. Suggestions need to collaborate with the Guidance and Counseling study program or other parties to hold training, seminars and workshop

Abstract

The aim of this study was to test the effectiveness of group counseling with cognitive behavioral art therapy in reducing aggression using a mixed methods model embedded in an experiment. The scale used is the Buss and Pery aggressiveness scale (Garofalo, 2018) with a total of 30 statement items. Based on data analysis, the average pretest value was 83.7 and after being given CBAT treatment the posttest value was 57.8 with a Wilcoxon sign-rank test Z value of -2.201, with a p value of 0.028, which means the p value is smaller than 0.05. So it can be concluded that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, which means that cognitive behavioral art therapy group counseling is effective in reducing student aggression. Viewed qualitatively analysis of counseling conversations with high aggressiveness Referring to harsh words, being angry, negotiating, does not reduce emotional control. The changes that occur are in the moderate to low category, this shows that cognitive behavioral art therapy group counseling has a therapeutic impact on group members who are counselees.

Abstract

This study aims to see the relationship between interests based on Holland's theory and the GPA of FKIP Untan Counseling Guidance Study Program students for the 2021/2022 academic year. The method used is a quantitative descriptive method and the data collection tool used is a questionnaire adapted from Holland's interest inventory. The population in this study is 44 students of the BK FKIP UNTAN Study Program class of 2021/2022. Data analysis used descriptive statistics with Eta correlation, which resulted in a percentage of student interest score scores. Based on the results of data processing, it was obtained that most students have a dominant type of interest in the social type 65.9% (29 students) in the fairly high category, this shows that students of the Guidance and counseling study program have interests in accordance with the characteristics of work as Bimgingan and Counseling / Counselor teachers at school. The cumulative achievement index for 4 semesters obtained by guidance and counseling students of the class of 2021/2022 is included in the good category with an average of 3.56. The correlation between interest and student IP shows a very strong correlation category with a number of 0.823.

Abstract

This study aims to determine students who are victims of bullying. This study uses qualitative descriptive data sources in this study are 2 students of class IX MTS Raudahtul Ulum Pematang Rambai Kuala Mandor A. The technique used is the source triangulation technique, namely the subject, classmates, class teachers and counseling teachers. The method used is phenomemology with data collection techniques of interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis uses an interactive model consisting of data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing stages. The results showed the symptoms experienced. subject one physically bruised, sick because of the truth, skipping school, social changes, emotions are not stable. the factors that cause being a victim of bullying are small physique, geeky, difficult to get along, low self-confidence, awkwardness, different accents, less good at reading and writing, and stuttering. the impact experienced by victims of bullying feels uncomfortable, low self-esteem, poor social adjustment, fear of social difficulties, decreased academic achievement. subject two, experiencing bruises, often alone, disturbed lifestyle. The causative factors such as being weak-bodied, difficult to get along, shy, annoying, the impact that occurs on the victim feels unsafe at school. lazy to go to school, changes in social, solitary, difficult to concentrate, shy, unstable emotions. the role of counseling guidance for students who are victims of bullying is to provide co-services.

Abstract

This research aims to find out and analyze in depth about students who are often late coming to school at SMA Negeri 11 West Pontianak. The case subjects in this study were two students. The method used in this research is descriptive with a qualitative approach in the form of a case study. The data collection techniques used are direct communication and documentation with data analysis techniques using case study steps including problem identification, diagnosis, prognosis, treatment, evaluation and follow-up. When providing treatment, researchers use the Behavioral counseling model. The implementation of counseling in case subject I uses aversion therapy techniques and positive reinforcement while in case subject II uses aversion therapy techniques and response formation. The factors causing the case subject to be late for school are due to internal and external factors. The results showed that there were significant changes in case subjects I and II after being given treatment four times. The changes in case subjects I and II are that students are not late, before the bell is rung the case subject is already present at school, disciplines themselves to manage daily time and is more eager to take part in learning.

Abstract

The research aims to test the effectiveness of group counselling services using art therapy techniques that is mindfulness based art therapy. The research method uses a quantitative approach with the Quasi Experimental Design, the One Group Pre-Test and Post-test Design research design. The sampling technique in this research is Purposive Sampling and the researchers obtained six pupils. In the data collection method used is by elevating student engagement. Then in the analysis techniques using presentation analysis and T-Test for Paired Sample. Group counselling activities were carried out with mindfulness based art therapy techniques divided into 9 sessions with evaluation at the last meeting. The results of the study showed that group counselling services using art therapy techniques were effective in improving student engagement, this was proven by the T-Test for Paired Sample with a value of t= -27,732 and a significance of 0,000<0,5 and the Effect Size calculation obtained a result of 11,406 >1,00 which belongs to the category of strong effects. (strong effect). Thus it was concluded that the provision of group counselling services using art therapy techniques provides a very strong effectiveness in increasing student engagement in the students of Class IX in the 22nd Pontianak state high school.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to know and deeply analyze the difficulties in learning math for students in SMP Negeri 10 Pontianak. The case subject of this research contains two students from grade VII who find it difficult to learn math. This research uses the descriptive method with a qualitative approach in case study form. The data collecting technique used in this research is the test technique which contains academic achievement tests and non-test techniques which are observation, interview, and documentation. The data analysis technique used study case steps including problem identification, diagnosis, prognosis, treatment, evaluation, and follow-up. In giving treatment, the researcher used the Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT) counseling model with different techniques. According to the result of the research, there is a positive change that shows in the subject of case I and the subject of case II after receiving treatment four times. The changes in the subject of the case are paying attention to the teacher, doing tasks or homework, showing a sense of responsibility, being able to manage time, being able to do assertive adaptive to train and familiarize to adapt positively and there is an improvement on academic achievement. The change in the subject of case II shows paying attention to the teacher, doing tasks or homework that was given, being assertive to control emotions, having a sense of responsibility, and the improvement of academic achievement.

Abstract

Pentingnya penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengembangankan produk media informasi karir berbasis platform YouTube yang dapat membantu peserta didik kelas X dalam merencanakan karir setelah SMA yang dimulai dengan pemilihan mata pelajaran pada kurikulum merdeka saat ini. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Research and Development dengan menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas X SMA Islam Bawari Pontianak. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar instrumen kelayakan ahli materi, lembar instrumen kelayakan ahli media, lembar instrumen kelayakan calon pengguna dan lembar instrumen respon peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media informasi karir berbasis platform YouTube layak untuk digunakan melalui hasil validasi oleh ahli materi, ahli media, calon pengguna dengan perolehan skor rata-rata 4,5 masuk kedalam kategori "sangat valid". Maka hasil ini juga dapat disimpulkan bahwa produk media informasi karir berbasis platform YouTube dapat menjadi alternatif media layanan informasi karir.

Abstract

Tujuan Penelitan ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan perilaku verbal abuse pada peserta didik kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 10 Pontianak. Jumlah populasi 286 peserta didik kelas VIII dan jumlah sampel yang diambil sebanyak 45 peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dengan model skala likert dan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan simple random sampling. Hasil penelitian menggambarkan bahwa Perilaku verbal abuse peserta didik kelas VIII di SMP N 10 Pontianak berada pada kategori sedang dengan persentasi 60,0 %. Bentuk perilaku verbal abuse pada peserta didik kelas VIII yaitu membentak atau memarahi sebanyak 54 % kategori sedang, Memaki seperti mengucapkan kata-kata tidak pantas, kurang baik dalam menyatakan kemarahan sebesar 57 % kategori sedang, Memberi julukan negatif bernilai 61 % kategori sedang, dan Mengucilkan atau melecehkan sebesar 50% kategori sedang. Indikator bentuk perilaku verbal abuse yang paling dominan yang dilakukan oleh peserta didik kelas VIII di SMP N 10 Pontianak adalah memberikan julukan sebesar 61% yang berada dalam intensitas kategori sedang. Faktor yang menyebabkan perilapku verbal abuse pada peserta didik kelas VIII yaitu faktor keluarga sebanyak 54% dengan kategori sedang, faktor lingkungan sosial sebesar 83% kategori tinggi, dan faktor media mempunyai persentase 49% kategori rendah.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the impact of group counselling at SMP Negeri 18 Pontianak that use sociodrama techniques to boost students' self-confidence. The study methodology is quantitative-experimental, utilising a one-group pre-test and post-test design with a pre-experimental design. Six students with poor self-confidence were included in the study's sample, which was drawn from the 67 students in classes VIII C and D. These students' questionnaire findings were analysed. Purposive sampling, a Non-Probability sampling approach, was employed in the sampling process. Calculations revealed that, on average, students' levels of self-confidence were 57 before receiving therapy (Pre-test) and 97 after receiving treatment (Post-test). The Paired Sample T-Test was used for statistical testing, and the results showed that there was a significant difference in the level of student self-confidence before and after receiving group counselling using sociodrama techniques. The T count was -9.530 with a sig value of 2 (Tailed) 0.000 < 0.05, meaning Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. Thus, it was determined that group counselling at SMP Negeri 18 Pontianak employing sociodrama approaches was successful in raising students' self-confidence.
