Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of solution focused brief counseling in increasing the resilience of broken home students at SMP Negeri 1 Sungai Raya. The method used is pre-experimental with one group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study were seventh grade students who experienced broken homes with a sampling of 6 broken home students who were in the low resilience category. this study used an instrument in the form of a questionnaire to determine the level of resilience of broken home students before and after being given group counseling services SFBC approach. The results showed that the average resilience questionnaire score of broken home students before being given treatment was in the low category with an average percentage value of 50% and after being given treatment increased by 72% which was included in the moderate category. From the results of hypothesis testing using paired sample t-test obtained sig value. (2 tailed) 0.002 <0.05. Then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means that there is an increase in resilience in broken home students. It can be concluded that solution focused brief counseling is effective for increasing the resilience of broken home students at SMP Negeri 1 Sungai Raya.

Abstract

During the Covid-19 pandemic in Class VII SMP Negeri 19 Pontianak, the purpose of this study is to describe the role parents played in allowing their children to study at home. This study employs a quantitative descriptive approach. Data was gathered using methods other than tests, like questionnaires. There were 210 people in the study's population, and up to 63 people were sampled. The showed that during the COVID-19 pandemic Class VII SMP Negeri 19 Pontianak, parents played a "good" role in helping their children study at home. In the category of "enough," parents played a role in providing learning resources at home for 59,87 percent of children. The job of guardians in giving inspiration to learn at home 67,33% is in the "upside" classification. The percentage of parents who supervise their children while they are studying at home reaches 67,14 percent, which includes the percentage of parents who help students overcome learning obstacles and is rated "good." Based on this description, it is possible to draw the conclusion that parents' participation in helping their children study at home during the Covid-19 pandemic at Class VII SMP Negeri 19 Pontianak is typically rated as "good." This indicates that parents of Class VII SMP Negeri 19 Pontianak students participate in helping their children study at home in a satisfactory manner. BK teachers should be expected to be able to visit students with learning difficulties at home, according to suggestions. in addition to actively contacting the parents of seventh-grade students to support their children's learning.

Abstract

This study aims to find out why academic self-efficacy is low in online learning for students. The method used is descriptive qualitative. In this study, the data sources were two class VII students of SMPN 7 Sui Raya. The data collection techniques used in the research were interviews and closed questionnaires and the data collection tools were the researchers themselves. Based on the results of the research, the two research subjects had low academic self-efficacy in online learning. (1) the characteristics of students include not being confident in their abilities, rarely participating in online learning, not being able to do the tasks given, and not understanding the material presented, (2) Factors that influence low academic self-efficacy include assignments given too much, give up easily, and lack self-confidence, (3) The impact of low academic self-efficacy includes dizziness and stress, getting reprimanded, missing material/lessons, getting low grades, and not meeting the grade promotion criteria, (4) The counseling teacher's efforts to increase academic self-efficacy include individual counseling and home visits. It was concluded from the two research subjects that the first dominant subject showed the factors that influenced his low academic self-efficacy indicated by his lack of confidence in his ability to do excessive assignments while the second subject dominantly showed feelings of insecurity in dealing with problems when learning online.

Abstract

This study aims to determine students"™ Perceptions of dating behavior in class XII at SMA Kristen Abdi Wacana Pontianak positively and negatively. The research method used in this thesis is a descriptive method with a quantitative research form. The data sources in this study were students in class XII SMA Kristen Abdi Wacana Pontianak and the entire study population, totaling 28 students, used a questionnaire as a data collection tool. The results showed that the perception of dating positively by 53,21% was included in the very low category which could be interpreted as students"™ understanding of positive dating behavior that was still not properly understood and the perception of dating negatively by 56,81% was included in the very low category. Which means that most of the students"™ understood about what dating behavior is like. So it can be concluded that students"™ perceptions of dating behavior in Class XII SMA Kristen Abdi Wacana Pontianak still need more in-depth education about dating behavior both positively and negatively.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the bad behavior of several sixth grade studentsat SDIT Wisata Hasanah Pontianak. The method used is descriptive in theform of qualitative research. Sources of data are three grade VI students at SDIT Wisata Hasanah Pontianak, homeroom teachers, parents,and friends of the research subjects. Data collection techniques used are redirect communication techniques through interviews and documentation studies in the for mofcasenotes.Data analysis consisted of data reduction,data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed symptoms of bad behavior, namely social aggressiveness such as often fighting or hitting, andusing dirty words, disobedient behavior such as frequently, rarely doing the assignments given by the teacher and the teacher's attention, irresponsibility such as often doing and not doing assignments. given by the teacher andoften come late to school. The causal factors are internal factors that are lessable to control emotions and lack a sense of responsibility, external factorsare the condition of the family environment. What homeroom teachers do rsare the condition of the family environment. Abstract

This research aims to test the effectiveness of group counseling services using Client-Centered Therapy techniques to reduce introverted personalities in class VII students at SMP Negeri 22 Pontianak. The research method in this study uses a quantitative approach with a Quasi Experimental Design, using a One Group PreTest and Post-Test Design research design. The sampling technique in this research was the Purposive Sampling technique which resulted in five students. The data collection method used was an introvert personality questionnaire. And the data analysis technique in this research uses percentage analysis and T-Test for Paired Samples. The implementation of group counseling is carried out using four techniques from Client-Centered Therapy, namely Acceptance, Congruance, Understanding, and Nonjudgmental. The research results show that group counseling services using Client-Centered Therapy techniques are effective in reducing introverted personality, as evidenced by the results of the T-Test for Paired Samples with a value of t=-11.796 and a significance of 0.000 0.05 and the Effect Size calculation obtained a value of 9.848 1.00 which is included in the strong effect category (strong effect). So it was concluded that providing group counseling services using the Client-Centered Therapy technique provided very strong effectiveness in reducing introverted personalities in class VII students at SMP Negeri 22 Pontianak.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the personality types of class VII students at SMP Negeri 7 Sungai Raya. Based on this problem, the researcher wants to describe introvert and extrovert personality types in class VII students of SMP Negeri 7 Sungai Raya. The research method used is descriptive method with a quantitative approach using a survey research form. The subjects or samples in this study were 36 respondents from a total population of 136 students in class VII A to VII E. The data collection technique used was an indirect communication technique with a data collection tool in the form of a questionnaire distributed via Google form. The data analysis used in this study is a percentage analysis technique. The results of data analysis in the study showed that: (1) Introverted personality traits had results with a percentage of 60% with indicators not good at getting along with a percentage of 67%, quiet with a percentage of 57%, hard to understand with a percentage of 61%, like to be alone with a percentage of 57 %, often afraid of other people with a percentage of 55% (2) Extrovert personality traits have results with a percentage of 67% with indicators sociable with a percentage of 66%, open with a percentage of 69%, friendly with a percentage of 66%, easy to adjust to percentage 67%. This study can be concluded in general that the personality type of class VII students at SMP Negeri 7 Sungai Raya has a percentage of 63% which is in the medium category.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and describe the narcissistic behavior ofClass VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Nanga Mahap in 2022. Theproblem of this research is: "What is the narcissistic behavior of ClassVIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Nanga Mahap in 2022?" The researchmethod used is descriptive method in the form of survey research. Theresearch population is 128 people, with a research sample of 45 people.The data collection technique uses indirect communication techniqueswith the Narcissism Behavior Inventory data collection tool. Dataanalysis technique using percentage analysis. The results of the studyshow that: (1) Overall the narcissistic behavior of Class VIII studentsof SMP Negeri 1 Nanga Mahap in 2022 is in the "high" category. (2)Internal factors of narcissistic behavior in students achieve results of73% in the high category, namely psychological and biological factors,while external factors that cause narcissistic behavior in studentsachieve results of 72% also include in the high category, namelysociological factors or social environmental factors. . (3) The impactof narcissistic behavior on students achieves a result of 72% with ahigh category so that it can have a negative impact on students. (4)Efforts that have been made by guidance and counseling teachers haveprovided information services to students about narcissistic behaviorand its various negative impacts.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out and study in depth about truancy behavior in class VIII students at SMP Negeri 13 Pontianak. The case subjects in this study were two class VIII students who often carried out truancy behavior at school. This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach in the form of a case study. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, documentation and home visits. While the data analysis technique uses case study steps which include problem identification, diagnosis, prognosis, treatment, evaluation and follow-up. In giving treatment, the researcher used two different counseling models to handle two students who did truancy behavior, namely using the Reality counseling model to handle the subject of case I and the Behavioral counseling model with assertive training techniques to handle the subject case II. Based on the results of the study, there were visible changes in the subjects of case I and case II after being given three meetings of treatment. The changes seen in the subject of case I included a reduction in the habit of skipping school, being more diligent in coming to school and a growing sense of responsibility in the subject of the case for his school life. Meanwhile, the changes seen in the subject of case II were being more diligent in coming to school, reducing the habit of skipping classes and being able to be assertive when refusing friends' invitations to skip classes
