Abstract

This research explores the integration of honesty and responsibility into thematic learning at MIS Nurul Yaqin Sambas and SD Inpres 6 Lolu, Palu City. Thematic learning, which combines various subjects through real-life contexts, provides a unique opportunity to instill character values in students. A qualitative case study approach was used, with data collected via observation, interviews, and document analysis. Observations focused on students' behaviors, while semi-structured interviews explored teachers' and students' experiences. Thematic analysis was applied, followed by data triangulation to ensure validity. The findings show that incorporating honesty and responsibility into thematic learning significantly improved students' awareness and behavior related to these values. Students demonstrated increased honesty and responsibility in their daily activities, while teachers played a crucial role by creating a supportive environment, using real-life examples, and recognizing positive behavior. This study suggests that integrating character values into thematic learning is an effective approach for elementary education, fostering students with strong moral and responsible character traits.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the internalization of multicultural values in Islamic Religious Education in fostering students' tolerance character. This research uses a qualitative approach with observation, interview and documentation methods. Primary data sources; Islamic Education Teacher, Principal, Waka Kesiswaan, BK Teacher and Students of SMK Negeri 3 Singkawang. The analysis technique used; data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing/verification to identify the value transformation process applied. The results showed that the active involvement of students in joint religious activities, initiatives such as Joint Infaq every Friday, and cultural exchange activities has encouraged the creation of mutual respect without religious or ethnic discrimination. In addition, the zero tolerance policy against discrimination fosters an inclusive and harmonious environment at school. This internalization process can also be seen from the students' ability to resolve conflicts effectively and establish constructive cooperation. The implication of this research emphasizes the importance of the teacher's role in transforming multicultural values to strengthen the character of tolerance, which in turn can contribute positively to building social harmony in a plural society.

Abstract

This research departs from the phenomenon of habituation carried out by students of SDN 03 Makong when Islamic Religious Education learning begins, students will read Iqro' for grades 1-3 while for grades 4-6 students will read Jus 'Amma and at dzuhur prayer time a congregational prayer is held for students in grades 4-6 which is usually often done at madrasah schools or boarding schools. The focus of this research is the implications of learning Islamic Religious Education as an effort to form the religious character of students of SD Negeri 03 Makong, Tempunak District, Sintang Regency. This research uses a qualitative approach and uses descriptive analysis methods. Data collection techniques through observation. Interviews and complete documentation. Data analysis using interactive analysis method. Data checking techniques through triangulation, reference materials and member chek. The results of the study can be concluded, among others: the character of students of SD Negeri 03 Makong can be said to be good, this is evidenced by the few students who commit offences at school, but still within reasonable limits. Their behaviour and pattern can be said to be very good. The implication of Islamic Religious Education learning in shaping the religious character of students of SD Negeri 03 Makong is using the exemplary method that is exemplified by the teacher so that it can be imitated by students, such as praying alone without coercion and reading the Koran with the teacher to be more diligent. Having an attitude of tolerance towards others and discipline to be present on time at school.

Abstract

Artikel ini menyajikan telaah literatur tentang pengembangan model pembelajaran terintegrasi sebagai bentuk realisasi kebijakan penyerderhanaan kurikulum pasca era pandemic covid-19. Menguatnya tuntutan untuk menyederhanaan kurikulum, tidak terlepas banyaknya mata pelajaran pada maple PAI yakni, Al-Qur’an Hadist, Fiqih, SKI, Aqidah akhlaq. Langkah penyederhanaan kurikulum khususnya maple PAI dapat dilakukan melalui integrasi mapel PAI secara horizontal yakni dengan integrasi mapel parallel di Madrasah Tasanawiyah. Robin Fogarty merumuskan 10 model integrasi kurikulum yaitu model fragmented (model terpisah), connected (keterkaitan), nested (berbentuk sarang), sequenced (satu rangkaian), shared (terbagi), webbed (bentuk jaring laba- laba), threaded (satu alur), integrated (terpadu), immersed (tenggelam), networked (membuat jejaring). Penelitian mengembangkan integrasi mata pelajaran PAI dalam beberapa model integrasi Robin Fogarty. Terdapat beberapa tema, langkah pengembangan dalam merumuskan integrasi bahan ajar PAI. Artikel diharapkan menjadi gambaran untuk merumuskan model pengembangan bahan ajar PAI tingkat Tsanawiyah.

Abstract

Demoralization and moral decadence in early childhood highlight the importance of values-based character education in the learning system. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the integration of local wisdom by Islamic Education teachers in shaping the character of children at the Alam Kota Singkawang State Kindergarten. The method used is qualitative field research employing observation, interviews, and documentation techniques with school principals, teachers, parents, and students. The results indicate that extracurricular activities such as songs, traditional dances with Islamic themes, and the use of Malay traditional attire effectively instill religious, independent, tolerant, disciplined, and responsible character traits in children. In conclusion, this approach is effective in strengthening students' moral identity through the internalization of locally rooted values contextualized within an Islamic framework

Abstract

Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah kapasitas belajar merupakan elemen krusial dalam pendidikan karena menentukan kemampuan peserta didik dalam menyerap, mengolah, dan mengaplikasikan pengetahuan secara efektif. Dalam konteks pendidikan dasar Islam, kapasitas belajar memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk generasi yang tangguh secara intelektual dan spiritual. Namun demikian, belum banyak penelitian yang mengkaji secara mendalam prinsip-prinsip umum kapasitas belajar dalam perspektif Islam serta relevansinya dalam pengembangan kurikulum dan strategi pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode kajian pustaka yang menganalisis sumber-sumber ilmiah internasional dan nasional terkait kapasitas belajar dan pendidikan dasar Islam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kapasitas belajar dalam Islam mencakup integrasi dimensi kognitif, afektif, spiritual, dan sosial yang selaras dengan nilai-nilai keislaman. Temuan ini mengindikasikan perlunya pembaruan kurikulum dan strategi pembelajaran agar mampu menumbuhkan kemampuan berpikir reflektif, motivasi intrinsik, serta karakter belajar mandiri pada peserta didik. Penelitian ini juga menyoroti pentingnya peran pendidik dalam membangun kapasitas belajar melalui pembelajaran yang kontekstual dan transformatif. Implikasi dari penelitian ini memperluas pemahaman konseptual dan menawarkan model pendidikan dasar Islam yang lebih integratif dan adaptif terhadap tantangan zaman

Abstract

Human as mysterious creatures cannot if only be approached by a scientific discipline, they must be understood in an interdisciplinary manner. In writing this journal explaining the possibility of Islamic education has a transdisciplinary meaning to eliminate the separation between general science and the science of religion and all the knowledge developed is related to one another. The method used is the method of discourse analysis and content. The way in which a number of literatures is discussed and analyzed is based on the direction and purpose of the transdisciplinary concept. The results of the discussion in the context of the transdisciplinary Islamic education curriculum must be developed to be holistic in nature that can cover a variety of problems inherent in humans and their development. The ability to achieve it in transdisciplinary Islamic education is the ability to see the world as a value system, each of which has different tasks and functions but still interconnected. This interconnection connection system must be placed in the framework of faith and noble character.

Abstract

The Malays-Sambas expression is believed to have contributed to the Islamic basic education through an emphasis on a culture of shame expression that reflects the honor, reputation, and self-esteem of foreign cultures. The purpose of this study was to analyze the expression of Malay Sambas in improving the character education of Islamic primary students. The naturalistic phenomenological method was used to analyze the data of 6 students, 3 principals, and classroom teachers through in-depth interview sessions. The voices of participants with homogeneous characteristics of the Sambas Malay ethnicity were recorded and analyzed looking at the characteristics and implications, among others: 1) Exploration of the Sambas Malay; Suppan said, "a small wrong hand is set up" means respect, openness, gentle words, and the expression of the language of "tullah"(damned) to teach children, should not conflict with parents, teachers or parents. 2) The contribution of the Malay-Sambas language has significant character education value. Therefore, these findings contributed to schools in creating a model of local wisdom curriculum that aims to explore the richness of local values integrated into formulating the lives of a good millennial generation, so that they can maintain their values ​​while respecting globalization dominance.

Abstract

The main strategy for increasing teacher professional competence and student academic achievement is to carry out PTK using qualitative methodology. To gain a comprehensive understanding, researchers observed student learning activities, teacher learning activities, and student learning achievement tests. By prioritizing achieving classical learning completeness above 75%, this research guarantees objectivity in the teaching process and does not involve third parties. Tests, observations, interviews and group discussions are some of the methods used to collect data, which is then analyzed descriptively using the percentage method. Learning outcomes are assessed by comparing student performance on the first exam and the final exam. On the other hand, student actions are categorized as active or inactive. Discussion topics include PAI, prayer material, group work methods, student characteristics, and data on the initial abilities and learning outcomes of seventh grade mentally retarded students at SLBN Sambas. With a focus on inclusive education, this research highlights the importance of special approaches to learning for students with intellectual disabilities to support their development.

Abstract

Teachers are professional educators who have an important role in teaching, guiding, directing, training and assessing. In line with the development of the meaning of learning from teacher-oriented learning to student-oriented learning, the role of a teacher in the learning process has also shifted, one of the teacher's roles is as a motivator. Thus, the role of the teacher apart from being an educator and teacher also plays a role as a motivator for his students. Because in this way, students will not experience a saturation point and in the end students' interest and motivation in learning will continue to increase. Motivation can be said to be the overall driving force within students which creates, ensures continuity and provides direction to learning activities, so that it is hoped that goals can be achieved. This research will examine the efforts made by teachers in the field of Islamic religion to increase student learning motivation. This research is field research using descriptive analytical research methods, namely by describing and interpreting objects. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews with teachers, and documentation. Based on the results of the data analysis that has been carried out, the author concludes that the way to increase student learning motivation at MTs Al-Hikmah Sidang is to give advice, provide opportunities to show themselves, create an atmosphere of healthy competition.
