Abstract

One of the 21st century thinking skills is creative thinking skills. Students as prospective educators are required to learn and develop self-actualization in solving problems scientifically. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Remap STAD learning models towards the empowerment of students' creative thinking skills. This research is a quasy experimental study and uses a Non equivalent pretest-posttest control group design. The population is all students of class XI IPA SMAN 4 Malang, totaling 234 students. A sample of 102 students was selected based on the equality test to determine the experimental class, positive control, and negative control. The instrument used used essay tests in accordance with indicators of creative thinking skills and the results were analyzed using the one-way anacova test. The results showed that the Remap STAD learning model effectively empowers students' creative thinking skills. The implication of the research conducted is to train students to think metaphorically to produce unique ideas or concepts as a form of achieving creative thinking skills. It is recommended that educators integrate the Remap STAD model in biology learning to foster student engagement and stimulate higher-order thinking processes necessary for solving contextual problems in daily life.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to provide socialization and education about the importance of change management in education at SD YPK Muli Merauke. This activity was attended by 12 teachers and one principal. The resource person, Mr. Andreas Au Hurit, delivered material on effective change management strategies in the educational environment. During the activity, there was active interaction in the form of questions and answers and discussions between participants and resource persons. Based on observations, the teachers were very enthusiastic in participating in this activity. In addition, the results of the reflection sheet showed that the teachers were happy and hoped that similar programs could be continued in the future. The principal also gave positive support to the continuation of this program, considering the importance of change management in improving the quality of education in schools. Abstract

Reflection activities are very important activities to be carried out because they will control the teacher's actions, the teacher can see what still needs to be fixed, improved or maintained. It is an activity that needs to be done when the teacher as a field practitioner has finished taking action, this is a form of self-evaluation. The teacher conveys all activities or experiences that have been carried out to be discussed with the researcher, the teacher conveys everything that has been felt and conveys the extent of the progress or progress of the actions taken. In carrying out reflection activities, teachers, in addition to acting as researchers themselves, must also collaborate with teachers of the same subject but different classes or researchers from universities so that reflection can be carried out to the stage of interpreting actions and situations in existing learning so that it can provide a basis for improving the action plan that will be carried out next. Being a reflective teacher means continuing to reflect on what has been done. The same thing is that the method or approach taken by the teacher where he explores what is done and why he does it is part of the reflective approach in teaching. Meanwhile, the reflective process is "a continuous process in reflecting on "received knowledge" and "experiential knowledge" in the context of professional action (practice)".

Abstract

The research aims to develop textbooks that are integrated with Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematic (STEM) in training collegian critical thinking skills as a basic skill to be able to express ideas that have originality. The research carried out is classified as research and development using the ADDIE model which consists of analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The population is early childhood education collegian consisting of two different classes with a total population of 118 collegian. The results shown that in two different classes regarding the urgency of statistics textbooks using the STEM approach and refers to the STEM Critical Thinking rubric and is able to fulfill the achievement of critical thinking skills indicators. Based on the research conducted it was concluded that the critical thinking indicators that integrates the STEM approach model which is supported by interesting features provided in textbooks which make it easy for students to access any information independently and able to make students think critically in learning activities. The implication to the study show that STEM-based statistics textbooks help students to understand educational statistics material thoroughly with the help of various innovative features used in the textbooks

Abstract

Permasalahan utama dalam pendidikan di Papua terletak pada rendahnya kemampuan guru dalam memanfaatkan teknologi pembelajaran. Sebagian besar guru belum memperoleh pelatihan yang memadai dalam membuat media digital, termasuk video pembelajaran. Materi ajar yang disampaikan cenderung bersifat abstrak dan kurang menarik bagi siswa. Keterbatasan sumber belajar membuat proses pembelajaran menjadi monoton dan tidak efektif. Minimnya akses terhadap teknologi memperparah ketimpangan kualitas pendidikan di daerah ini. Pelatihan pembuatan video interaktif menjadi alternatif solutif yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan kontekstual wilayah. Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk memberdayakan guru agar mampu membuat video pembelajaran yang efektif dan kontekstual. Peningkatan keterampilan teknologi diharapkan mendorong perubahan dalam metode mengajar yang lebih menarik dan partisipatif. Program ini juga menargetkan peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa melalui visualisasi materi yang lebih konkret. Keterlibatan guru dalam produksi konten dapat memperkuat pemahaman materi dan menumbuhkan rasa kepemilikan. Pendekatan ini bertujuan menciptakan transformasi pembelajaran yang berkelanjutan. Perubahan strategi mengajar menjadi indikator keberhasilan jangka pendek dari program ini. Metode pelaksanaan menggabungkan pelatihan langsung, praktik, dan diskusi kolaboratif. Kegiatan dilaksanakan secara bertahap agar peserta memahami seluruh tahapan produksi video. Evaluasi dilakukan untuk mengukur perkembangan keterampilan secara berkala. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kemampuan guru menggunakan media digital. Respon peserta menunjukkan peningkatan motivasi dan antusiasme dalam mengajar. Rekomendasi mencakup penguatan dukungan lembaga dan pembentukan komunitas guru sebagai tindak lanjut program pengabdian.

Abstract

The development of the 21st century requires students to be skilled in solving problems in a structured manner and in accordance with scientific principles. Creative thinking skills are one of the main components that are the basis for students because creative thinking skills focus on exploring ideas, producing innovative solutions, finding many correct answers to provide innovative solutions that are rarely put forward by others. Creative thinking emphasizes the responses given by students in solving problems using appropriate methods or approaches. The creative thinking process begins with students identifying problems, conducting evaluations, formulating hypotheses and reviewing hypotheses from various perspectives to communicate the results of their thinking. The application of the Integrated PJBL Remap PjBL learning model can accommodate and help students create new ideas (think creatively) from different perspectives. The Remap learning model is a learning model that requires students to carry out reading activities to obtain various types of information, then they pour it into the form of a concept map to see the concepts built by students in a hierarchical and continuous manner.

Abstract

Matematika merupakan pelajaran yang diajarkan dari tingkat Sekolah Dasar hingga Perguruan Tinggi. Matematika diajarkan guna mengajarkan kepada siswa ubtuk berpikir logis, mencari hubungan, serta berpikir kretaif. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Universitas Musamus jurusa Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar dengan subjek penelitian berjumlah 63 mahasiswa. Adapun materi yang dipilih yakni penjumlahan bilangan bulat. Penelitian menunjukkan apabila mahasiswa masuk dalam kriteria sedang dalam penguasaan konsep penjumlahan bilangan bulat diakibatkan kurang pemahaman mengenai penjumlahan bilangan bulat.

Abstract

Matara Village, located in Merauke Regency, South Papua Province, is a coastal community with abundant marine resources, particularly fish as a primary commodity. However, limited processing capacity results in fish being sold whole at low prices or even unsold leading to economic losses and declining household incomes. The inability to process fish into nutritious, high-value products remains a key challenge. To address this issue, a team of lecturers from Musamus University conducted a community empowerment program focusing on training local women ("mama-mama") to produce fish nuggets. The program included field observations, counseling sessions, technical demonstrations, direct mentoring, and a satisfaction survey. As a result, nutritious and marketable fish nugget samples were successfully produced. This initiative aims to foster entrepreneurship and improve local economic resilience. The community responded positively and expressed strong interest in sustained support from relevant institutions for ongoing development.

Abstract

The gap in access to adequate education for Papuan children, where 40% of them have not received sufficient education.This indicates the need for a more contextual and locally rooted educational approach to improve the quality of education.This research aims to explore the educational potential within the Snap Mor tradition as a solution to these challenges, as well as to strengthen the cultural identity and character of the younger generation.The research methodology used is qualitative based on literature, with a focus on the analysis of relevant literature.This approach allows researchers to understand social phenomena in depth without having to collect data directly from the field.Through the analysis of documents, articles, and previous research reports, researchers can identify themes and patterns related to the Snap Mor tradition and education.The research results show that the Snap Mor tradition has significant educational value in shaping character and cultural identity.The involvement of the younger generation in Snap Mor practices can enhance cultural awareness and strengthen their emotional bonds with the community.The conclusion of this study emphasizes the importance of integrating Snap Mor values into the formal education curriculum.The recommendations produced include the need for training for teachers to understand and effectively convey materials that contain local elements.
