Abstract

This research aimed to know what kinds of characters found before applying model of cooperative learning type numbered heads together (NHT) and how is the effect of that model to responsibility and hard work students. The research conducted qualitative. Based on the data, the research found that majority of character found before applying the model was discipline (57 %) and awareness (61 %), but both characters are less enthusiasm. In contrast with class IV B, the character found are curiosity (59 %), responsibility (36 %). This model increases students’ responsibility in class IV A from 41 % to 81 %, and hard work’s from 45 % to 71 %. The increasing both character are also found in IV, the responsibility from 41 % to 51 %, hard work from 36 % to 45 %. In conclusion, this research has a significance for the teacher to conduct a model of cooperative learning type numbered heads together (NHT) in teaching learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to examine: (1). Curriculum and learning management, (2). Curriculum planning in the school, (3). Organizing the curriculum in the school, (4). Implementation of the curriculum in the school. This research uses descriptive qualitative research method. Data research were collected through interviews, observations, document studies. Further data are analyzed, reduced, verified then drawn conclusions. The results of this study show that: First, curriculum and learning management at Solihuddin School begins with the planning, organizing, and implementation of the curriculum. Second, Curriculum Planning Solihuddin School has been running with a structured but still needs to be done alignment of plans that have been made in order to be planned all that has been set at planning meetings conducted routinely at the beginning of the semester. Third, the organizing of curriculum at Solihuddin School covers two things: structural and academic. Structurally a curriculum organizing system under the command of the Director (Principal). While the academic organization of the curriculum is developed in the form of an organization that is curriculum based on separate subjects (Saparated Subject Curriculum). Fourth, the implementation of curriculum at Solihuddin School is divided into two levels namely the implementation of school and class curriculum. In the implementation of school-level curricula undertaken by the principal is still less than the maximum because of the lack of existence of the principal. While for the implementation of the class-level curriculum implemented by the teacher is maximal enough with evidence in the learning process has been following the times.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul pembelajaran IPA berbasis Project Based Learning (PjBL) yang terfokus pada peningkatan kemampuan kolaborasi siswa kelas 5. Menggunakan metode pengembangan model 4D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). Penelitian ini melibatkan siswa kelas 5 sebagai subjek penelitian. Penelitian ini bertujuan : 1) Untuk mengetahui prosedur pengembangan modul pembelajaran IPA berbasis PjBL 2) Untuk mendeskripsikan kelayakan modul pembelajaran IPA berbasis PjBL, 3) Untuk mendeskripsi-kan efektivitas modul pembelajaran IPA berbasis PjBL terhadap peningkatan kemampuan ko-laborasi siswa. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan melalui observasi kelas, penilaian kinerja siswa dalam kegiatan proyek, dan kuesioner untuk mengumpulkan umpan balik siswa terkait pengalamannya menggunakan modul. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa modul pem-belajaran IPA berbasis PjBL layak digunakan dan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan ko-laborasi siswa kelas 5. Dibuktikan dengan persentase aspek materi dengan kategori valid, aspek bahasa dengan kategori sangat valid dan aspek media dengan kategori valid. Modul pembelajaran ini juga dapat meningkatkan keterampilan kolaborasi siswa, karena adanya pen-ingkatan keterampilan kolaborasi siswa pada kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Dilihat dengan adanya perbedaan hasil rata-rata nilai pada observasi akhir pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa modul pembelajaran IPA berbasis PjBL untuk meningkatkan keterampilan kolaborasi layak digunakan.
