Abstract

Peran media pembelajaran sangat penting dalam membantu guru menyampaikan materi matematika yang abstrak karena pemahaman matematis siswa merupakan bagian penting dari kemampuan matematis lainnya pada objek geometri. Tujuan penelitian ialah membuat media pembelajaran prisma dan limas berbasis Geogebra yang bisa membantu siswa SMP/MTs meningkatkan pemahaman matematis mereka. Serta berperan sebagai alat dalam memberikan visualisasi kepada siswa untuk membantu dan memahami materi yang disampaikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan model Plomp, yang terdiri dari lima fase: investigasi awal, desain, realisasi, tes, evaluasi, dan revisi, dan implementasi. Media pembelajaran berbasis geogebra diuji validitas dan praktikalitasnya. Rata-rata total validitas media sebesar 5,00 dengan kategori valid pada aspek validitas isi dan rata-rata total validitas media sebesar 4,57 dengan kategori valid pada aspek validitas konstruk. Berdasarkan hasil uji coba pengguna media, media pembelajaran berbasis Geogebra dikategorikan sebagai media praktis pada lima indikator yaitu: (1) Mudah digunakan, (2) hemat waktu, (3) dapat digunakan secara mandiri, (4) animasi dan gambar membantu siswa memahami materi, dan (5) membantu siswa memiliki pemahaman matematis.The role of learning media is very important in helping teachers convey abstract mathematics material because students' mathematical understanding is an important part of other mathematical abilities in geometry objects.  The purpose of this research is to create Geogebra-based prism and pyramid learning media that can help junior high school students improve their mathematical understanding. As well as acting as a tool in providing visualization to students to help and understand the material presented. This research uses the Plomp model, which consists of five phases: initial investigation, design, realization, test, evaluation, and revision, and implementation. Geogebra-based learning media was tested for validity and practicality. The average total validity of the media was 5.00 with a valid category in the content validity aspect and the average total validity of the media was 4.57 with a valid category in the construct validity aspect. Based on the results of media user trials, Geogebra-based learning media is categorized as practical media on five indicators, namely: (1) Easy to use, (2) save time, (3) can be used independently, (4) animations and images help students understand the material, and (5) help students have mathematical understanding.

Abstract

The low Mathematical Problem Solving Ability of eighth grade students of MTs Baitul Amal Pekanbaru is the background of this research. This research aims to improve the learning process to increase the mathematical problem-solving ability students o through the application of the Problem Based Learning model with the context of Riau Malay culture. This research is a Classroom Action Research. Observation techniques, discussion techniques, and test techniques are data collection techniques used in this research. The increase in students' mathematical problem-solving ability is seen from the results of the analysis of the percentage of students who obtained the maximum score and the qualifications of students' mathematical problem-solving ability. The results of the study indicate that the application of  Problem Based Learning with the context of Riau Malay culture can improve the learning process and increase the mathematical problem-solving ability of eighth grade students of MTs Baitul Amal Pekanbaru on the content of two-variable linear equation systems.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop a mathematics instructional module based on Problem-Based Learning (PBL) on proportion content to facilitate the mathematical problem-solving skills (MPSS) of Phase D students. The research method employed was Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE model, which consists of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. The research instruments included an instructional module validation sheet and response questionnaires for teachers and students. The validity of the module was evaluated in terms of face, content, and construct validity, while its practicality was assessed based on ease of use, material presentation, and visual appearance. Data were analyzed using quantitative and qualitative approaches. The results indicated that the developed instructional module met the criteria of very high validity, with an average validation score of 93.09, and was highly practical based on teacher and student responses, achieving a practicality score of 92.74. In conclusion, the PBL-based instructional module on proportion content is feasible for facilitating the mathematical problem-solving skills of Phase D students.

Abstract

Community empowerment through innovation in the health and environmental sectors is a strategic step to improve the quality of life and community resilience to various health and environmental problems. The Universitas Riau and Universitas Pahlawan Tuanku Tambusai Service Team Work Program in Sungai Kayu Ara Village, Siak Regency, aims to educate and empower the community through three main activities, namely the socialization of Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) at SDN 06 Sungai Kayu Ara, the socialization of making soap from eco enzyme, as well as socializing the manufacture of dishwashing soap and water purifier. This program is implemented with a community participation-based approach, aiming to reduce dependence on products made from dangerous chemicals and provide practical, environmentally friendly solutions. The first activity was carried out on 12 October 2024, followed by the second activity on 16 October 2024, and the third activity on 6 December 2024. The results of this activity showed an increase in public knowledge regarding PHBS and the use of natural ingredients in everyday life, which had a positive impact on a healthier and environmentally friendly lifestyle.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematis (KPMM) siswa fase D di SMP Negeri 2 Kampar Kiri Hilir dengan mengimplementasikan Problem Based Learning (PBL). Bentuk penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Penelitian dilakukan si SMP Negeri 2 Kampar Kiri Hilir, Kelas VIII.B sebanyak 28 siswa pada semester genap tahun pelajaran 2024/2025. Penelitian ini dilakukan sebanyak empat pertemuan. Data dan Instrumen  penelitian  meliputi perangkat pembelajaran yang terdiri dari Alur Tujuan Pembelajaran (ATP) dan modul ajar dan instrumen pengumpul  data  yang  terdiri dari  lembar  pengamatan  dan lembar tes KPMM. Teknik pengumpul data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah teknik pengamatan dan teknik tes KPMM. Data diperoleh melalui pengamatan aktivitas guru dan siswa selama proses pembelajaran dan tes KPMM siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi PBL dapat memperbaiki proses pembelajaran dan meningkatkan KPMM siswa kelas VIII.B SMP Negeri 2 Kampar Kiri Hilir. Implementasi  PBL memfasilitasi siswa untuk  berdiskusi kelompok, saling bertukar pendapat, dan mampu untuk  mengungkapkan pendapat secara matematis dengan jelas. KPMM siswa dapat dilihat dari hasil analisis kualifikasi KPMM siswa dan persentase jumlah siswa yang mendapatkan skor maksimal pada setiap indikator KPMM. Berdasarkan  hasil  penelitian ini, dapat   disimpulkan   bahwa   implementasi model Problem Based Learning dapat memperbaiki proses pembelajaran dan meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis SMP Negeri 2 Kampar Kiri Hilir.

Abstract

A This research is a development research (R&D) with the aim of producing a Problem Based Learning (PBL) based teaching module on the topic of social arithmetic to facilitate mathematical problem solving skills (KPMM) of phase D students that have met the valid and practical requirements. This development research uses a 4D development model with development stages, namely defining, designing, developing and disseminating. The data collection instruments used in this study were the teaching module validation sheet and the student response questionnaire. The assessment aspect on the validation sheet assessed by 3 validators, obtained an average value of the teaching module validation results of 3.90 with a very valid category. The results of the analysis of the student response questionnaire from a small group trial of 15 respondents obtained an average value of 3.60 which was categorized as very practical.
