This study aims to determine the effect of the application of themodel Discovery Learning on student learning outcomes in social studies learning. This type of research is quantitative with the research method used in this study is experimental research. The sampling technique uses Simple Random Sampling. The sample in this study amounted to 33 students. The data analysis technique in this study used a prerequisite test in the form of a normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis testing using the t-test. Based on the results of the study obtained the average value of thevalue pretestof 32 for the experimental class of 35.73 for the control class. The averagevalue posttest was 82.67 for the experimental class and 68.53 for the Control class. Based on the t-test calculation obtained that tcount > ttable (14.14 > 2.04), at a significant level of 0.05. Keyword : Discovery Learning, IPS Learning, Learning Outcomes

This research is motivated by the reality in the field which shows the low involvement of students in integrated thematic learning. This study aims to describe the improvement in student learning outcomes in integrated thematic learning through the Cooperstive Talking Stick type model in grade IV Elementary School. This type research is Clasroom Action Research using qualitative and quantitative approaches. The research subjects were grade IV students with 29 students of SDN 01 Ulak Karang. From the results of the study concluded that a) RPP showedthe results of improvement trough observations made by observers with an average score obtained in the observation of RPP cycle I was 84,72%, in the second cycle to 88,88%. b) the average value of the aspects of the first cycle teacher was 87,49%, in the second cycle 93,75%. c) the average value of aspects of the student in the first cycle 81,24%, in the second cycle 93,75%. Student learning outcomes in the first cycle obtained an average value of 68,76% and increased in the second cycle with an average value of 78,72%.

This study aims to describe the increase in student learning results on thematic Integrated Learning Model using Problem Based Learning in class IV SDN 14 Gadut Kabupaten Agam. This research used a qualitative and quantitative approach. This type of research i.e. Research Action class (PTK). The subject of research is the grade IV SDN 03 Labuah Bukittinggi Feed as many as 16 students. Research conducted two cycles. The design of the research include, (1) planning, (2) implementation, (3) and (4) observation of the reflection. The results showed an increase in: a) the RPP cycle I 85.93% Cycle II (B) 93,75% (SB) b) implementation on aspect of teacher cycle I 85.71% (B), a cycle II 96,42% (SB) c) Implementation on aspect students cycle I 85.71% (B) and Cycle II 96,42% (SB) d) student learning outcomes s iklus I 74,5 Cycle (B), II (B) 84,84. Thus the model of Problem Based Learning can improve the learning results of integrated thematic grade IV SDN 14 Gadut Kabupaten Agam.

The researchis animed to improve the students’ learning outcomes in learning the Social Study Subject by using the Cooverative Learning, Think Pair Share Model at 5th grade of SDN 29 Pesisir Selatan.Types of this research was classroom action research with qualitative and quantitative approach. Subject of this research were teachers (practitioners) and 16 students. The result of research was improve a) Lesson plan the cycles of I was 82,1% and the cycles II of 92,8% b) Implementation teacher’s activity of I cycle was 76,5% and II cycle was 96,8% while implementation students activity of I cycle was 76,5% and II cycle was 96,8% c) the students learning outcomes in the I cycle was 73,4 and II cycle was 85,8. It can be concluded that used Cooperative Learning Model Type Think Pair Share can improve students achievement in learning social study of elementary school.Keyword : Learning outcomes, Social Study, Model

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan proses pembelajaran dalam model yang terintegrasi yang dikembangkan melalui model Problem Based Learning (PBL) di kelas IVA SDN 04 Garegeh Bukittinggi. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas untuk penelitian ini. Penelitian ini menarik pada guru dan siswa kelas IV sebagai subjek. Ada 23 siswa yang dibagi menjadi 18 pria dan 5 wanita. Ada dua siklus perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian merupakan peningkatan dari hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran tematik terpadu kelas IVA SDN 04 Garegeh Bukittingi melalui model Problem Based Learning (PBL).

This study aims to describe the improvement of the integrated thematic learning process using the Cooperative Type Talking Stick model in grade V of primary schools. This research is a classroom action research with qualitative and quantitative approaches. This research was conducted in 2 cycles. Each cycle there are four stages, namely planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The subjects of the study were the teacher and 28 students. The results of the first cycle research in RPP meeting 1 obtained a percentage value of 77.8% (C) increased 88.9% at meeting 2 (B) and more increased by 94.4% in cycle II (SB). In the activities of the teacher in the first cycle the meeting obtained a percentage of 77.8% (B) increased by 88.9% in the second meeting and 91.7% (SB) increased in the second cycle. In the activities of students in the first cycle meeting 1 obtained a percentage value of 77.8% (B) increased 88.9% in the second meeting and increased 91.7% (SB) in the second cycle. Based on these results it can be concluded that the cooperative model of the Talking Stick type can improve the integrated thematic learning process.

The purpose of this research to knowing the effect of Cooperative Learning Model Jigsaw Type of learning outcomes in Social Science in Class V SDN 10 2X11 Kayutanam Padang Pariaman Regency. This research based on quantitative research with experimental research method, and quasy experimental research design. The population in this research is 145 people with amount sample is 32 people, which data collected using purposive sampling. Instrument that used to collecting data in this research is objective test with multiple choices. The result of this research is tcount> ttable, 3,46 > 2,04 with α = 0,05 it means Ha is accepted. The average posttest result in experiment class is 87,75 and control class is 76,75. As Ha is accepted, means Cooperative Learning Type Jigsaw have affected on student learning outcomes in Social Science in Class V SDN 10 2X11 Kayutanam Padang Pariaman Regency. The purpose of this study was to describe the improvement of student learning outcomes in social studies learning using the Role Playing method in class V SD. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) using qualitative and quantitative approaches. Subjects in this study were students and class V teachers totaling 16 people. This research was carried out in 2 cycles consisting of planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. Research results from cyclulus I to Cycle II. (a) Cycle 1 learning planning is 80.32% increased to 92.85% in cycle 2. (b) Implementation of learning from the aspect of teacher in cycle 1 with an average of 80.20,% increased to 91.5%. in cycle 2, from the aspect of students in cycle 1 with an average of 77.62% increased to 89.58% in cycle 2. (c) Learning outcomes obtained by students in cycle 1 obtained an average grade of 78.42 increased to 85 , 02% in cycle 2. Thus, the Role Playing method can improve student learning outcomes in social studies learning in class V SD. Keywords: IPS, role playing method.

AbstractThe purpose of this study was to describe the improvement of student learning outcomes in social studies learning using the Coperative learning Model Picture and Picture at grade five B of SDN 06 Padang Besi, Padang City. The subjects of this study were teacher (practitioners) and 22 students. The type of this research used was Classroom Action Research using qualitative and quantitative approaches. The research was conducted in two cycles with research procedures consisting of planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The results showed an increase in aspects of: a) RPP, the average cycle I obtained was 80.3% increased to 96.4% in cycle II, b) aspects of the teacher and aspects of students, in the average cycle I obtained 77.7% increased to 94.4% in cycle II, and c) student learning outcomes in the average cycle I obtained were 76.4, in cycle II it increased to 90.7.Keywords : IPS, Cooperative learning Type Picture and Picture

The purpose of this researchais to describe theaplanning, implementation and improvementclearning outcomes of students using a Talking Stick model in integrated thematic learning in grade IV Elementary School. This research uses PTK research with qualitative and quantitative approaches. This research was conducted at SDN 12 Bukit Cangang, consists of 29 students. This study consisted of 2 cycles, namely cycle 1 consisted of 2 meetings, and cycle 2 consisted of 1 meeting. The results of this study indicate an increase in student learning outcomes, namely in the first cycle with an average value of 75 (B) and the second cycle with an average of 84. Based on this it can be said that the Talking Stick model can improve student learning outcomes.
