Abstract

Companies located in Muslim-majority areas do implement a halal guarantee system in their production process, because otherwise it will certainly affect public trust. In this regard, this study aims to analyze the application of the halal assurance system in the production process and the company's compliance with halal standards. This research was conducted at PT Keloria Moringa Jaya Medan. This study used qualitative research methods. Collecting data with observation techniques, interviews, and documentation studies. The data collection focuses on the production process of PT Keloria Moringa Jaya Medan. The results of the study show that the materials used in the production process already have a halal label or are halal certified. PT Keloria Moringa Jaya Medan also has halal certification from BPJPH which is valid for international and national levels. Special steps are taken to ensure product halalness, namely the cleanliness and health of employees, as well as the use of gloves and hand sanitizers in the production process. They implemented a policy of using halal raw materials and made an agreement in the form of a banner that was posted on the front page of PT Keloria Moringa Jaya Medan. There is also a halal supervisor in charge of production quality control.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the transparency in the application of Islamic Social Reporting (ISR) at PT. BPRS Amanah Bangsa Kc. range. The research approach used in this study uses a qualitative approach. Respondents in this study 5 people consisting of company directors and employees. Data collection techniques using interviews. The method used in this research is qualitative method. The results show that the company composes and discloses the Islamic Social Reporting (ISR) every year in accordance with the Islamic Social Reporting index at the Amanah Bangsa BPRS is indeed very good in accordance with the regulations of the Financial Services Authority. Almost all items used as references in this study were disclosed by BPRS Amanah Bangsa Kc Kisaran. BPRS Amanah Bangsa Kc Kisaran revealed 6 themes including: Funding and Investment, Products and Services, Employees, Society, Environment, Corporate Governance.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of internal and external factors on profitability as proxied by Return on Assets (ROA), a study on Islamic Commercial Banks for the 2016-2020 period. In the theory of profitability, there are 2 factors that affect bank profitability, namely internal factors and external factors. Internal factors in this study are BOPO (Operating Expenses to Operating Income), Non-Performing Financing (NPF), Financial to Deposit Ratio (FDR) and external factors in this study are inflation and the money supply. Profitability is one of the most important factors in a company, including Islamic financial institutions, in this case Islamic banks, so that every company must pay attention to the company's profitability ratios. Islamic banks are financial institutions that just started to emerge in the late 90s and have a very high level of competition with conventional banks. For this reason, this study aims to look at the financial performance of Islamic banks in Indonesia through the level of profitability they have had for the last 5 years. The sample selection in this study used purposive sampling method. The sample in this study is the monthly financial statements of Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia in 2016-2020. The data in this study will be processed using SPSS software with multiple regression. The results of this study state that inflation as an external factor does not have a significant effect on the profitability of Islamic Commercial Banks as measured by the Return on Assets (ROA) ratio with a significance level of 0.628 and the money supply has a significant effect on ROA. While the BOPO, NPF and FDR variables as internal factors have a significant effect on ROA.

Abstract

Currently, many campuses have implemented operational fund management through waqf, including the Al-Azhar Egypt campus, Unida Gontor, UII Yogyakarta, and Darunnajah waqf. However, on the other hand, there are still many aspects of management as well as data and management that have not been digitized and published in general. so that this becomes a problem of waqf accountability itself. The purpose of this study is to clearly know the pattern of cash waqf management at the Unida Gontor and MUI campuses and be able to implement this model on all campuses. The methodology of this research is descriptive qualitative with an ANP analysis tool. The results show there are 3 problems in this cash waqf model. Among other things, the HR factor with a rather agreement value of 2%, universities with a rather agreement value of 12% and the operational value of rather agreement at 1%, and the strategy, namely the synergy between BWI and universities, using local wisdom and being used as waqf as a lifestyle with the rather agreement value by 16%.

Abstract

The research was conducted at Baitulmaal Muamalat with the aim of knowing the effect of job satisfaction and organizational commitment on Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) carried out by Baitulmaal Muamalat employees. This study uses quantitative methods and data collection is carried out using primary data derived from questionnaires. Research results reveal that job satisfaction has a positive influence on Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) behavior. It is shown from the results of the t test where t count > t table (2,114 > 2.026) and a significance value of 0.041 <0.05. Organizational commitment variable also has a positive influence on Organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) where t count > t table (2,621 > 2.026) and a significance value of 0.013 <0.05. The results of the F test obtained that the variables of job satisfaction and joint organizational commitment significantly influence Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) towards Baitulmaal Muamalat Medan where the Sig value is 0.008 <0.05. R2 test results R2 number of 0.232. This shows that 23.2% interest in Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) is influenced by job satisfaction and organizational commitment

Abstract

This article examines the implementation of community service programs aimed at improving the digital marketing capabilities of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Medan City. Focusing on collaboration with Lazismu Kota Medan, this study uses a three-stage approach: partner problem identification, training implementation and evaluation. Through meetings and surveys, the service team determines the training needs of MSMEs, which cover important aspects of digital marketing. The training was held at the Muhammadiyah Da'wah Building with interactive lecture methods, Kahoot application-based quizzes, and group discussions. Evaluation of the effectiveness of the training was carried out through pre-test and post-test, resulting in a significant increase in participants' digital marketing understanding. These results show that digital marketing training is effective in increasing the ability and confidence of MSMEs in digital marketing, providing important implications for the development of MSMEs and the local economy of Medan City.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of service security on the decision to use QRIS of Islamic Banks in UMSU Islamic Faculty students. The formulation of the problem in this study is that there are still Islamic Banking Study Program students who do not know or use QRIS as a payment transaction. The method used in this study was a questionnaire with a Likert scale and data processing using SPSS calculations with a total of 68 respondents. Based on the results of data processing, it shows that service security has a significant effect on the decision to use with significant calculations, it is known that the significance value is 0.000 <0.05 and the t-count value is 3.743 > t-table 1.997, so it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. The results using the Determination Test (R2) show that the Adjust R Square coefficient of determination is 0.788 or 78,8%, which means that the decision variable for transactions using QRIS Islamic Banks (Y) is influenced by service security (X) with the remainder being influenced by other variables not contained in the this research.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh service security terhadap keputusan penggunaan QRIS Bank Syariah pada mahasiswa Fakultas Islam UMSU. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah masih adanya mahasiswa Prodi Perbankan Syariah yang belum mengetahui atau menggunakan QRIS sebagai transaksi pembayaran. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuesioner dengan skala Likert dan pengolahan data menggunakan perhitungan SPSS dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 68 orang. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data menunjukkan bahwa keamanan layanan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan penggunaan dengan perhitungan signifikan diketahui nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05 dan nilai t hitung 3,743 > t tabel 1,997 , sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Hasil dengan menggunakan Uji Determinasi (R2) menunjukkan koefisien determinasi Adjust R Square sebesar 0,788 atau 78,8%, yang berarti bahwa variabel keputusan bertransaksi menggunakan QRIS Bank Syariah (Y) dipengaruhi oleh keamanan layanan (X) dengan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak terdapat dalam penelitian ini.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to evaluate the impact of using digital payments on student interest in using the Indonesian Standard Quick Response Code (QRIS) in the UMSU Sharia Business Management Study Program. This research method carries a quantitative approach with the main data obtained through the use of questionnaires, where the sample size reached 78 respondents. Data analysis was carried out using SPSS version 26 software, with the application of the (t) test technique and simple linear regression analysis. The results of the partial test (t) show that the payment usage variable has a significant influence on the student interest variable in using QRIS. With a tcount value of 9.964 > ttable of 1.992, it can be concluded that the Use variable (X) has an effect on the Interest variable (Y). In addition, based on the R2 test results, it was concluded that the impact of the independent variable (Use) on the dependent variable (Interest) reached 56.6%. Keywords: Digital, Interest and QRIS

Abstract

The objectives of this study include (1) to determine the impact of gadgets on early childhood in the kindergarten; (2) Analyzing the ways in which parents control their children's gadget use; (3) Knowing how parents of students overcome gadget addiction in their children. The approach used in this research is descriptive qualitative method in the form of interviews with parents of students. Research in the form of interviews with several sources found that there are two effects of gadgets for early childhood in the kindergarten, namely the positive impact and negative impact. The way some parents control the use of gadgets for their children is also different. Moreover, overcoming gadget addiction for their children. Based on the results of the study, it can be said that the impact of gadgets for early childhood is quite large. Both positive impacts that increase knowledge, as well as negative impacts that make children indifferent to the environment.

Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah meningkatkan pemahaman jama’ah Masjid Taqwa Setia Khalifah dalam memanfaatkan instrumen Rubu’ Mujayyab dalam menentukan waktu shalat. Kegiatan ini adalah Program Pengembangan Kemitraan Pengembangan Muhammadiyah (PKPM) yang memberikan bekal kepada masyarakat berupa kemampuan berpikir ataupun keterampilan lainnya. Metode yang akan digunakan dalam pelaksanaan program ini adalah pelatihan berbentuk ceramah dan praktik yang dimulai dari tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan telah terjadi peningkatan pemahaman peserta pelatihan dari 40% menjadi 80%. Setelah kegiatan peserta dapat memahami perhitungan waktu shalat menggunakan instrumen Rubu’ Al-Mujayyab, dapat memahami dasar perhitungan waktu shalat, dapat memahami alasan keputusan perubahan waktu shalat subuh dan mengamalkannya.
