ABSTRACT Intensity of gadget use is the level of gadget use in humans which is thought to be influenced by several characteristics, namely characteristics related to self Alone and the environment. This research was conducted on junior high school children. Intensity of gadget use among junior high school children in Lubuk Pakam school students This research method use is descriptive. The research results show the of the 48 respondents who used gadgets the highest was in the medium category as much as 89.6% (43 respondents). After conducting research, the results showed that the intensity of gadget use in teenagers (junior high school) was highest in the moderate category, so it was suggested that parents need to monitor the duration of gadget use in children to prevent addiction and reduce other negative impacts. Keywords: Intensity Of Gadget Use, Adolescent ABSTRAK Intensitas penggunaan gadget merupakan tingkat penggunaan gadget pada manusia yang diduga dipengaruhi oleh beberapa karakteristik yaitu karakteristik yang berkaitan dengan diri sendiri dan lingkungan. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada anak SMP. Intensitas penggunaan gadget pada siswa SMP di sekolah Lubuk Pakam. Penggunaan metode penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dari 48 responden yang menggunakan gadget paling tinggi berada pada kategori sedang sebanyak 89,6% (43 responden). Setelah dilakukan penelitian, diperoleh hasil bahwa intensitas penggunaan gadget pada remaja (SMP) paling tinggi berada pada kategori sedang, sehingga disarankan agar orang tua perlu memantau durasi penggunaan gadget pada anak untuk mencegah kecanduan dan mengurangi dampak negatif lainnya. Family member with mental illness causes inferiority, shamefulness, and minimal function in the community. In some cases, mentally ill patients withdrawn from interaction and refuse to communicate. The objective of the research was to analyze the correlation between self-esteem and social interaction in the family with mentally ill patients in Kelurahan Medan Sunggal, Medan. This was a descriptive quantitative study with correlation method. The samples were 18 family members who suffered from a mental disorder, with purposive sampling technique. The data collection using questionnaires and data analyses is undergone with univariate analysis and frequency distribution. The bivariate analysis applied Spearman's Rho test. The result of the research showed that 15 respondents (83.3%) had high self-esteem and 11 respondents (61.1%) had a good social interaction. There was a significant correlation between self-esteem and social interaction in a family with a mentally ill patient (P-value = 0.012) with positive direction (r = 0.576). It is concluded that a high self-esteem correlates well with the social interaction among the family members with mental illness. It is recommended for family members to maintain their self-esteem and social interaction capacity. A mentally disorder person should get social support from family, health care providers, the government, and society.

Mental disorder is a serious health problem. It is a chronic disease that requires long healing. The factors of education, information, income, and stigma experienced by family can avoid the behavior in caring people with mental disorders that has been carried out. Thus, it impacts the care and treatment given to them. The purpose of this systematic review is to identify family behavior in caring for people with mental disorders during Covid-19. This study was conducted with a systematic method by reviewing the literature obtained from Google Scholar, Sciencedirect, PubMed, Proquest and Research Gate. Three keywords were used to get some relevant literature. As a result, the author obtained eight literature matching the author's criteria made by using the systematic review method. The most affecting factor for healing quality of people with mental disoder is their family's action in caring them. Health education is very influential on family's knowledge. Educational factor and information determine family behavior in seeking treatment. Providing adequate information and health education about mental disorders for families is necessary to avoid any faults while seeking medical assistance.

The spread of the COVID-19 disease has made the government issue an online learning process policy to break the virus spread chain. Online learning is a new learning method, and students are not used to it. They are struggling to the learning concept and do not understand how to use the supporting applications of online learning. If the students keep feeling anxious and distressed, they will be stressed out. This study was conducted to determine students' perception of online learning and their stress level during the COVID-19 pandemic at Senior Highschool 3 Sibolga (SMA Negeri 3 Sibolga). This study used a descriptive quantitative research design and univariate analysis. Samples were obtained using the Probability Sampling method, which is Simple Random Sampling. By using the method, 86 respondents were obtained. The instrument research is questionnaires on the perception of online learning. The results showed that 51 students (59.3%) perceived online learning negatively. In contrast, 35 students (40.7%) perceived online learning positively. In terms of stress level, 75 students (87.2%) have moderate stress, 3 students (3.5%) have mild stress, and 8 students (9.3%) have heavy stress. The study results recommend that community health centers education and guidance to the students on dealing with stress during online learning at school.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, a lot of nursing care was missed due to the increasing demands for patient care, the high risk of infection, physical and mental fatigue, things that make health workers experience this, one of which is because the high workload couses fatigue in implementing nurses and the cessation of caring behavior. This study aims to identify the caring behavior of implementing nurses in providing nursing care to patients in the Inpatient Room at the Universitas of North Sumatra Hospital during the Covid 19 Pandemic Period. The design used descriptive with a quantitative approach. Sampling used a non-probability sampling technique with a purposive sampling. Samples that met the inclusion criteria were 40 nurses and 40 patients. Data was collected using a questionnaire caring behaviors inventory (CBI). Of all the statement items, the highest score was on the assurance of human presence subscale, providing timely care and treatment of patients with an average score of 5.33 with a median value of 5.00. Meanwhile, according to the patient's perception of the caring behavior of the implementing nurse, the highest score is on the assurance of human presence subscale, talking to patients with an average value of 5.20 with a median value of 5.00. It can be concluded that the perception of the implementing nurse as the provider of nursing care and the patient as the recipient of nursing care have different perceptions about caring behavior. This research is expected to be input for nursing services to improve caring behavior.

Literasi kesehatan mental merupakan kemampuan yang dimiliki seseorang untuk dapat mengakses, memahami, menilai dan menerapkan informasi kesehatan sehingga dapat membuat penilaian dan mengambil keputusan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari mengenai perawatan kesehatan, pencegahan dan promosi kesehatan untuk menjaga dan meningkatkan kualitas hidup. Adapun tujuan akhir yang ingin dicapai melalui pengabdian ini adalah teridentifikasinya literasi kesehatan mental remaja dan meningkatnya literasi remaja tentang masalah kesehatan mental. Metode yang digunakan pada kegiatan identifikasi literasi kesehatan mental remaja adalah pretest dengan metode quiz, yaitu memberikan lembar pertanyaan yang diisi oleh remaja. Kemudian untuk kegiatan edukasi dengan metode ceramah, diskusi dan brainstorming pada 60 remaja yang bersekolah di SMP Swasta PAB 9 Klambir Lima Kebun. Hasil pengabdian dapat dilihat bahwa literasi remaja mengenai konsep kesehatan mental masih kurang yaitu sebesar 43% remaja menjawab salah pertanyaan. Diharapkan edukasi tetap diberikan oleh pihak sekolah secara berkesinambungan untuk dapat memantau status kesehatan mental remaja. Dan petugas kesehatan dapat bekerjasama dengan pihak sekolah dalam pengembangan program kesehatan mental remaja

The phenomenon in the field during the COVID-19 pandemic that restricts students from carrying out activities in schools, conducting online learning which has now begun to do limited face-to-face learning while still carrying out social distancing rules so that there are still teenagers who have not been able to solve their problems correctly. This results in the task of adolescent social development needing to be improved. This study aims to identify whether or not there is a relationship between the application of social distancing and the achievement of adolescent development tasks during the COVID-19 pandemic at SMP Kemala Bhayangkari 1 Medan. This research design is descriptive quantitative using Non-Probability Sampling (Purposive Sampling) technique. That is, the sample is selected according to what the researcher wants. The results were that teenagers who implemented social distancing during the COVID-19 pandemic at Kemala Bhayangkari Junior High School were categorized as obedient as 38 teenagers (57.6 %) and 35 teenagers (53%). The conclusion is that there is a significant relationship between the direction of a positive relationship and a reasonably good strength between social distancing and the achievement of adolescent social development tasks. This means that in the COVID-19 pandemic, teenagers who obediently apply social distancing can achieve their social development tasks quite well. This can mean that some teenagers must still achieve their developmental tasks well. It is recommended that teenagers continue to learn to understand the importance of implementing social distancing and achieving the tasks of adolescent social development that must be realized properly and optimally so that they can adapt to their surrounding environment.

The issue of peer conformity on smoking behavior significantly affect in individuals’ self-preservation to get acceptance and avoid rejection or critism from peers. These conformity factors cause individuals to engage in deviant behaviors, such as smoking. This research method aims to explore the correlation of peer conformity and the type of smoking behavior among adolescents at SMPN 3 Hamparan Perak, Deli Serdang Regency. This is a quantitative Research method with a descriptive correlational design conducted on 30 male adolescents ages 13 - 16 years old from May to June 2024. The data are collected by distributing questionnaires on peer conformity and the type of smoking behavior. The results of the statistical test using chi-square test with α=0.05 indicate a significant correlation between peer conformity and the type of smoking behavior among male adolescents at SMPN 3 Hamparan Perak (p-value = 0,034). Based on this research, it is recommended that the school conduct routine conseling sessions and promote anti-smoking campaigns to reduce the number of smoker among adolescents.

Peran perempuan khususnya ibu dalam keluarga memiliki dampak besar pada kesehatan jiwa anak. Anak yang sehat jiwa akan terwujud apabila pengasuhan yang diterimanya baik. Dengan meningkatkan kapasitas ibu tentang pengasuhan efektif, diharapkan peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan ibu dalam merawat anak. Pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang diberikan diharapkan mampu merubah perilaku keluarga sehingga nantinya dapat mengantisipasi masalah dan mencegah masalah kesehatan jiwa pada anak. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan sebagai implementasi tridarma perguruan tinggi yang melibatkan tim pengabdi dari dari departemen keperawatan jiwa serta melibatkan mahasiswa dalam pelaksanaannya. Sehingga kegiatan ini juga dapat dijadikan dalam mendukung indikator kinerja utama perguruan tinggi khususnya melibatkan dosen dan mahasiswa di luar kampus. Metode yang digunakan pada kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah ceramah, roleplay dan diskusi pada kegiatan pelatihan. Hasil pengabdian masyarakat yang telah dilakukan mendapatkan hasil bahwa ada pengaruh penguatan kapasitas melalui edukasi dan pendampingan terhadap pengetahuan ibu tentang pengasuhan (p-value 0,00 0,05). Dapat dilihat dari peningkatan rata-rata literasi sebelum dan sesudah diberikan pelatihan dengan selisih mean sebesar 7. Diharapkan peningkatan kapasitas pada ibu-ibu yang memiliki anak tetap diberikan oleh kader dan petugas kesehatan secara berkesinambungan sehingga sehat jiwa pada anak dapat terwujud.

Body shaming is a form of verbal bullying carried out by one individual against another. It can be understood as inappropriate and harmful actions or expressions directed at physical appearance, whether towards oneself or others. If persistent, it can erode self-confidence and affect an individual's self-esteem. This study aims to determine the relationship between body shaming and self-esteem among first-year students of the Faculty of Nursing at Universitas Sumatera Utara. This research employs a quantitative associative correlation method with a cross-sectional approach, involving 215 first-year students selected through total sampling techniques. The research instrument used was a questionnaire. The results, analyzed using the Spearman rank test, indicated a p-value of 0.000 (<0.05), signifying a significant relationship between body shaming and self-esteem among first-year students of the Faculty of Nursing at Universitas Sumatera Utara. The findings revealed that body shaming was at a moderate level among 163 first-year students (75.8%), while self- esteem was also at a moderate level among 165 first-year students (76.7%). It is recommended that first-year students cultivate gratitude for their body shape, view themselves positively, and offer positive affirmations to themselves and others
