Abstract

This study aims to analyze the importance of management functions in sustainable meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibition activities at Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak Beach. The informants in this study were the director of events, assistant director of events, and business development executive who purposively determined. Data collection is carried out through observation, literature study, interviews, group discussions, and documentation. The results reveal that sales teams managed meeting, incentive, conference, and exhibition activities have made significant strides in implementing sustainable practices in various aspects of meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions. Many aspects have been successfully integrated, such as local souvenirs, adoption of renewable energy, electronic registration, and health and safety promotion still need improvement. The gap arises from the scale of events, resource limitations, and technical constraints. A comprehensive analysis of the implementation of sustainable meeting, incentive, conference, and exhibition management functions shows the establishment of strong local community ties, innovation in menu variations, prioritizing environmentally friendly practices, collaborating with local craft entrepreneurs, optimizing technology and social media, maintaining environmentally friendly commitments, and recommending the use of digital-based media in various management functions. The implementation of this management function supports improving the hotel's ability to achieve sustainable meeting, incentive, conference, and exhibition activities.

Abstract

Pencabulan dikategorikan kedalam kejahatan. Pencabulan merupakan suatu tindakan yang melibatkan penyalahgunaan seksual terhadap seseorang tanpa persetujuan mereka, dan seringkali disertai dengan unsur pemaksaan, intimidasi, atau manipulasi. Pencabulan merupakan salah satu bentuk kekerasan seksual, yang merujuk pada setiap tindakan seksual yang dilakukan tanpa persetujuan dari pihak korban. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor penyebab terjadinya kekerasan seksual atas tindak pidana pencabulan sesame jenis yang dilakukan orang dewasa terhadap anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Yuridis Normatif. Data yang digunakan menggunakan data primer, data sekunder dan data tersier. Prosedur pengumpulan data dalam penulisan penelitian ini dengan cara studi kepustakaan dan lapangan. Analisis data menggunakan analisis kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan faktor penyebab terjadinya kekerasan seksual atas tindak pidana pencabulan sesame jenis yang dilakukan orang dewasa terhadap anak dapat terjadi dikarenakan faktor ekonomi, faktor lingkungan, faktor kelainan seksual dan faktor Pendidikan.

Abstract

Purpose: This study investigates the legal implications and cybersecurity vulnerabilities surrounding the leak of 102 million electronic identity (E-KTP) records allegedly originating from the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs. It highlights the urgency of improving data protection mechanisms in the era of digital governance. Research methodology: The research adopts a qualitative document analysis method, collecting and examining data from laws, government regulations, academic literature, credible news sources, and case studies related to cybercrime and information security. An interdisciplinary approach is applied, integrating perspectives from law, information technology, and cybersecurity. Results: The study reveals that the current regulatory framework is insufficient to fully address the growing risks of data breaches in public digital infrastructures. It identifies critical gaps in cybersecurity readiness, institutional accountability, and legal enforcement related to personal data protection. Conclusions: Strengthening personal data protection in Indonesia requires a combination of stricter regulatory enforcement, increased public awareness, technological investment, and cross-sector collaboration. The legal system must adapt more proactively to emerging digital threats. Limitations: This research is limited to secondary data sources and does not include interviews or empirical fieldwork, which may restrict the depth of analysis on institutional practices. Contribution: This paper contributes to the development of cyber law discourse in Indonesia by offering legal and policy recommendations aimed at enhancing data privacy, institutional responsibility, and public trust in digital identity systems.

Abstract

This research aimed to find out the documentation of green hotel practices implemented by The Apurva Kempinski Bali, Indonesia, based on the indicators developed by Earth Check known as 10 key performance areas for hotel-accommodation business. Methods of data collection used are by conducting interviews with key and supporting informants, observation techniques using participant observation, literature review, and document study. The data analysis method used is qualitative research through transcript data, data reduction, data displaying, and concluding. The result of this research shows that The Apurva Kempinski Bali has fulfilled the requirements of the certification and has applied the green hotel practices within the hotel area to support sustainable developments including energy efficiency, freshwater resources, waste-water management, solid waste management, ecosystem and conservation, land use planning, air quality protection, management of social and cultures, and harmful substances management. Some improvements need to be taken into account such as the renewable energy generation potential evaluation, shower, and taps low flow installation, and sustainable room amenities materials. It is a critical and important advantage for the hotel as well to attract more guests to stay, since the topic of sustainability nowadays has become famous which affecting the decision of guest to staying in the hotel. This paper is focusing on the documentation of green hotel practices that has been implemented by The Apurva Kempinski Bali in order to support sustainable development goals.
