Abstract

Kegiatan magang dilaksanakan di PT. Supra Matra Abadi Kebun Aek Nabara (KAN) Kecamatan Bilah Hulu Kabupaten Labuhanbatu Provinsi Sumatera Utara, kegiatan dilakukan selama empat bulan, Maret – Juli dan metode yang digunakan ialah rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan 2 perlakuan berbeda, yaitu dengan dosis 1% dan dosis 2. Hasil: Afdiling III PT Supra Matra Abadi dengan gulma berkayu menggunakan 2 perlakuan, yaitu secara manual dan kimia, sedangkan gulma pakis seluruhnya menggunnakan metode pengendalian secara kimia dan penyemprotan pada areal pertumbuhan pakis yang rapat seperti pada blok C88D, C88E, dan C88P mempergunakan nozel fan jet, perlakuan pengendalian lalang di Afdiling III yang efektif adalah pembajakan diikuti dengan penyemprotan menggunakan herbisida berbahan aktif glifosal dengan alat knaspsack spayer jenis nozel VLV 200 dan volume semprot 200-250/ha, Keladi liar yang populasinya cukup luas terdapat pada blok C87O dan C87Q dengan penyemprotan menggunakan herbisida berbahan aktif metil dengan dosis 4,2 gr + 28ml/kap alat knapsack spayer nozel solid dan 1 kap 12,5 air dan pada pengendalian kentosan dapat dihasilkan dengan dosis 1% dan 2% yang paling efektif. Pada penelitian ini lebih efektif menggunakan dosis 2%, karena hasilnya lebih terlihat (lebih cepat terbakar) walaupun sama matinya dengan dosis 1% namum menggunakan dosis 2% tidak membutuhkan waktu lama sudah mati total, hasil efisiensi ini menggunakan dosis yang 1%, karena lebih diuntungkan seperti biaya yang lebih murah, Hasilnya sama hanya saja dengan menggunakan dosis 2%.

Abstract

Pelepah kelapa sawit dan batok kelapa berasal dari limbah pertanian yang sangat mudah didapatkan sehingga bisa di olah menjadi asap cair yang sangat bermanfat untuk petani. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kandungan senyawa Klorin 0,0300 % mg, Fosfat 67.4600 mg, Lignin 34.130 mg dan Selulosa 50.92 mg. Serta perbandingan pH keasaman pada asap cair dari pelepah kelapa sawit dan batok kelapa. Analisis kandungan dilakukan dengan menggunakan eksprimen Laboraterium kimia sedangkan untuk mengetahui pH keasaman menggunakan pen pH meter. Proses perbandingan pH keasaman pada asap cair menggunakan perbandingan pekat, 1:1 dan 1:2 dengan takaran 10, 20 dan 30 ml. Hasil dari perbandingan pengukuran pH keasaman pada asap cair dari pelepah kelapa sawit dan batok kelapa 1.18 %. Sedangkan dengan pencampuran asap cair dari pelepah kelapa sawit dan batok kelapa 2.15 % sehingga dapat di simpulkan tingkat keasaman pH dicampur lebih tinggi sedangkan tidak dicampur tingkat pH keasamanya lebih rendah.

Abstract

This research aims to test the effectiveness of using liquid organic fertilizer (LOF) from sap and pineapple water in controlling horn beetle pests (Oryctes rhinoceros) on oil palm plants in private plantations in Tandikat hamlet, Silangkitang. The approach used was a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with four treatments, namely N0 (control), N1 (100% pineapple starch), N2 (500 grams of pineapple + 1 liter LOF of palm juice), and N3 (500 grams of pineapple + 2 liters of LOF sap water) each repeated four times. The parameters observed included the number of horn beetles caught and those that died. The results of the analysis of variance showed that the significance value of the treatment was <0.05, indicating that there was a real effect of the treatment on the number of horn beetles caught and killed. Duncan's Multiple Range Test (DMRT) further test indicated that the N0 treatment was significantly different from the N2 and other treatments. N2 treatment proved to be the best treatment, showing high effectiveness in controlling horn beetle pests. The conclusion of this research is that the use of LOF from pineapple and palm juice is significantly effective in controlling horn beetle pests on oil palm and is an environmentally friendly alternative to the use of chemical pesticides.Keywords: pests; horn beetles; liquid organic fertilizer; pineapple

Abstract

Cultivator is a piece of agricultural machinery and equipment used to cultivate secondary land. This service aims to provide information on the use of al-sintan Cultivator agricultural tools to the community. The implementation strategy used in this service is a traditional, one-on-one methodology. In explaining the theory regarding agricultural al-sintan instruments, Culltivator uses classical methods. Meanwhile, an individual approach is taken during training. The explanation of the stages of implementing service is as follows; Identification of problems, Preparation of activity plans, Training and counseling, Field demonstrations.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' conceptual understanding of Islamic religious education learning using the problem based learning model. This study uses a type of classroom action research. The design of this study uses the Kemmis & Mctaggart design with four steps, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were elementary school students. Data were obtained using test and observation techniques. The data obtained were then analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques. The results of the study indicate that the problem based learning model can improve student learning outcomes in Islamic religious education learning with the application of audio visual media. This can be seen in cycle I, the average percentage is 50% and in cycle II it is 86%. So it can be stated that student activity developed in cycle II. Improving student learning outcomes through the application of the problem based learning model on Friday prayer material in Elementary Schools was carried out for two cycles. Learning outcomes in cycle I were 66.67% and in cycle II they were 76.67%. So it can be stated that student learning outcomes improved better in cycle II. Based on this, the problem based learning model can be used as one of the media that can be considered by teachers to overcome the problem of low understanding of elementary school students' concepts, especially in Islamic religious education learning.

Abstract

Oil palm fronds are waste products of oil palm plantations that are not utilized, yet oil palm fronds can be converted to biochar to improve soil fertility. This study aimed to analyze the chemical properties of the biochar generated from oil palm fronds. A pot experiment was conducted in Negeri Lama Seberang Village, Labuhanbatu District, Rantauprapat. The biochar formulation consisted of two formulations, i.e., A = pure biochar  (biochar in its original form) and B = granule biochar (biochar + tapioca flour). Each biochar form was repeated five times to obtain ten samples. The results of biochar laboratory analysis were continued with statistical tests based on the dependent t-test at the 5% level using Microsoft Excel. The results showed that biochar granules had chemical characteristics such as organic C of 32.78%, N of 2.39%, P of  0.18, K of 0.75%, and pH of 8.07. These values showed that granule biochar has better chemical characteristics than pure biochar.

Abstract

Pengiriman barang mempunyai peranan penting dalam rantai bisnis retail, setiap pengiriman harus memperhitungkan jumlah barang yang terjual dan juga toko mana saja yang dapat dikirimkan bersamaan. PT X merupakan Perusahaan retail yang memiliki banyak cabang toko di wilayah Jakarta, sehingga memerlukan gambaran toko-toko mana saja dan barang apa saja yang dikirimkan secara bersamaan. Algorima K-mean adalah salah satu algorima untuk mengklusterisasi. Oleh sebab itu maka penulis melakukan perhitungan data penjualan menggunakan alogoritma k-mean untuk mengelompokan toko-toko. Dan dari hasil perhitungan yangs sudah dilakukan terdapat hasil kluster terbaik yaitu kedalam 5 cluster dimana untuk cluster 0 terdapat 13 toko, cluster 1 terdapat 17 toko, cluster 2 terdapat 7 toko, cluster 3 terdapat 16 toko dan cluster 4 terdapat 12 Toko.

Abstract

This development research aims to determine the feasibility of the steps for developing integrated science teaching materials with verses from the Qur'an using a problem based learning model. This research was conducted with expert validation, as well as teachers and students at several schools in Banda Aceh. Data collection techniques were obtained from the validation results of experts, teachers and student responses, which were obtained from a questionnaire instrument in the form of a Likert scale. Based on the results obtained, expert validation obtained an average value for the material indicator of 3.49 in the very good category, for the readability indicator an average value of 3.61 was obtained in the very good category and for the presentation indicator an average value of 3.79 was obtained. also in the very good category. Meanwhile, for teacher validation, the material indicator obtained an average value of 3.89, this means it can be categorised as very good, while for the readability indicator, an average value of 3.85 was obtained in the very good category, and for the presentation indicator, an average value of 3 was obtained. 92 is also in the very good category, and the student response value is 89.6, meaning that students have a very positive response regarding this teaching material. So this shows that the use of integrated teaching materials with Al-Qur'an verses with models is very good for use in science learning.

Abstract

Guava is a plant with many benefits, especially in the leaves. There are many chemical compounds in guava leaves (Psidium guajava L.), such as flavonoids, tannins, and saponins. Traditionally, Guava leaves have been used for a long time (Psidium guajava L.) as medicine to stop diarrhea, with its availability as an herbal product widely marketed. Using guava leaves as traditional medicine is made by boiling them and extracting them to remove chemical compounds, namely, Tannins found in the leaves. In addition to decoction, guava leaf extract can be obtained by maceration. Research that has been conducted aims to determine the content of saponin compounds, tannins and flavonoids in guava leaves (Psidium guajava L.) using two extraction methods, namely maceration and boiling. The maceration method uses a technical ethanol solvent (96%), and boiling uses a water solvent. Then phytochemical screening is tested based on the color reagent of the compound. Based on the results of research that has been carried out shows that from both extraction methods, positive guava leaf extract (Psidium guajava L.) contains saponin compounds, tannins, and flavonoids.

Abstract

This socialization and training was motivated by the manufacture of liquid organic fertilizer from eggshell waste, eggshell is a waste that is mostly produced by fast food traders, and they just throw it in the trash can even though the egg shells are not only for decoration or not for decoration. make full use of it even though egg shells contain nutrients that many plants need for fertilizer, increase public awareness that eggshell waste can be utilized.
