Abstract

The Integrated Current Information Package System Sistem Paket Informasi Terkini (SIPINTER) is an integrated information service at the Library of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia (DPR RI), providing various information resources related to the duties and functions of the DPR RI. The system has been operating since 2020 to support literacy and research needs within the DPR RI. However, to date, no feedback has been provided by users who have accessed SIPINTER, either through a dedicated survey or through the website’s own survey feature, making it difficult to assess the system’s utilization and optimization. This study was conducted to evaluate the extent to which SIPINTER has been successful for users of the DPR RI Library by applying the DeLone and McLean model. A quantitative method with a correlational approach was employed to measure the influence among variables and to test the hypotheses. The findings indicate that three out of the seven proposed hypotheses were accepted, as the relationships showed path coefficient values below 0.05 and t-test values above 1.96. These accepted relationships include: system quality on system use, information quality on user satisfaction, and system use on user satisfaction. This study concludes that the success of SIPINTER is primarily determined by the quality of the system and the quality of the information provided, while the service quality aspect has not shown a significant influence. These findings indicate that improving service quality is an essential factor in optimizing the utilization of SIPINTER and offer new insights into the application of the DeLone and McLean model within the context of a legislative library.

Abstract

Abstract

Nitrogen fixing fungi are fungi capable of fixing free nitrogen into ammonium or nitrate, so that it can be absorbed by plants. Many species of microbes/fungi have the ability to fix nitrogen, but very few are able to excrete nitrogen in the form of ammonia so that their contribution in providing nitrogen for plants is also still low. This study aims to determine the characteristics and type of nitrogen fixing fungi in fruit and vegetable waste compost. The method used in this research was descriptive method. Identification of nitrogen-fixing fungi was carried out macroscopically by looking at the color of the colonies, the shape of the colonies, and the diameter of the fungal colonies, an then identified by molecularly. There were 4 isolates of nitrogen-fixing fungi capable of forming clear zones on Jensen's media with different morphological characteristics and nitrogen-fixing abilities. The largest diameter of the clear zone was shown in isolate A3 of 3.2 cm which is the fungus Aspergillus niger strain SG1.

Abstract

Rural women's Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are the pillars of the family economy. However, the management of village MSMEs is still constrained by low product added value, simple product packaging, and a conventional marketing system. This service aims to empower these MSMEs through an innovative mompreneurship approach to achieve economic independence and family sustainability. The implementation method uses participatory training and technical assistance, including four integrative modules: (1) compost fertilizer production for sustainable agriculture; (2) packaging design and standardization; (3) the creation of promotional materials with Canva; and (4) digital marketing and e-commerce strategies. The evaluation results showed a significant increase in participants' competencies, especially in transitioning from traditional to digital marketing. Agricultural products, such as chili, melon, and others, after undergoing quality improvement and branding, have penetrated the modern market through sustainable channels, including local minimarkets and online stores. The "Smart Mompreneur" program is effective in digitizing and increasing the economic value of MSMEs. For sustainability, it is recommended to strengthen joint business groups and provide follow-up assistance. This model can be replicated to support gender equality and inclusive economic growth in line with the SDGs.

Abstract

This research was carried out in Afd II Village, West Bilah District, Labuhan Batu Regency, starting in October 2021. The aim of the study was to determine the effect on the growth of Red Chili (Capsium Annum L) plants on cutting shoots on chili leaves. Chili is a staple for consumption in everyday life. Chili peppers can be made more productive by using the right gardening techniques. Maintenance measures such as cutting shoots of chili plants with a dichotomous are one approach to increase chili yields. Pruning dichotomous shoots seeks to remove less productive plant parts to maximize. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments with 5 replications, in order to obtain 22 experimental units, each bed planted with 30 chili plants. The total number of plants is 30 x 5 = 150 plants. For the experimental unit, 3 were selected to be used as plant samples. From the observations, if the F test shows a significant effect, it will be continued with the Duncan' New Multiple Range test (DNMRT) at a 5% significance level. As treatment, namely: A = Pruning 7 DAP, B = Pruning 4th branch, C = No pruning, D = Pruning 14 DAP. Cutting the tops of leaves to increase the yield of the red chili, the results of the study concluded: 1. Red chili plants that were trimmed branches made the chili plants taller, 2. Trimming leaves caused the emergence of new leaf blades to increase 3. And cutting leaf shoots was useful for improve the yield of chili plant quality. Based on the results of the study, it is recommended to trim the 4th branch because it can increase growth.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze and describe the temporal distribution of arthropods on purslane (Portulaca oleracea L.) on red chili farms, Afdeling II Village, West Bilah Subdistrict, Labuhanbatu Regency. This research method is descriptive exploratory research with a quantitative approach. This is to describe and analyze the temporal distribution of arthropods in purslane (Portulaca oleracea L.). Data was observed from the arrival of arthropods at a predetermined time, namely three 3 observation times, including: time I (07.00-08.00), time II (12.00-13.00), and time III (16.00-17.00) for 10 minutes. Each time the observation was repeated 4 times. The results of this study showed that the daily visits of arthropods at 12.00-13.00 were higher than the daily visits at 07.00-08.00 and 16.00-17.00. Each family of arthropods has a different level of daily visits at each time of arrival which is caused by internal factors (physiological, reproductive ability, life cycle, age) and external factors (physical factors, food, temperature and humidity). The daily visit frequency of this arthropod indicates that purslane (Portulaca oleracea L.) is a habitat for arthropods and can be used as a refugia plant.
