Abstract

Kata Kunci: Desa Siaga Stunting, Pemberdayaan, Pengolahan Potensi Pangan Lokal, Telur Ayam Kampung, Daging Ayam KampungABSTRACT The working area of Kintamani III Health Center still faces stunting problems caused by the lack of knowledge of mothers about the complementary foods of breast milk and the health of child growth and development. A previous survey showed that 37.6% of mothers had insufficient knowledge about stunting. Interviews with Human Development Cadres in March 2024 identified three main problems in Daup Village, namely stunting cases, lack of ability of mothers in measuring growth, and lack of utilization of lokal food potential. This program aims to realize Daup Village as a SIAGA Village (Ready for Early Detection and Prevention) of Stunting by increasing the knowledge, skills, and independence of mothers and health cadres in the prevention and early detection of stunting through the utilization of lokal food. This activity is carried out through five stages, namely sosialization, training, application of technology, assistance and evaluation and program sustainability. The focus of the activity is measuring the weight, height, head circumference of children, and processing lokal food meat and eggs from lokal chickens. This activity succeeded in increasing the knowledge, skills and independence of mothers and health cadres (15 people/100%) regarding early detection of stunting and the utilization of lokal food. The Daup Village community has succeeded in realizing the SIAGA Stunting Village, with mothers and health cadres who are more independent and effective in preventing and early detection of stunting through the utilization of lokal food potential. Keywords: Lokal Chicken Eggs, Lokal Chicken Meat, Processing of Lokal Food Potential, Stunting Alert Village, Empowerment

Abstract

Human Development Cadres have a strategic role in supporting the long-term care of stunted children in the community. However, suboptimal perceptions, self-efficacy, and readiness of cadres often become obstacles in carrying out the duties of human development cadres. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of a home visit-based training program on the perceptions, self-efficacy and readiness of Human Development Cadres in the long-term care of children with stunting. This study used a pre-experimental design with pretest-posttest one group only on 30 Human Development Cadres in the Puskesmas of Kintamani III (March-September 2024). The home visit-based training program included material on stunting, nutrition, health, and community empowerment. Perceptions, self-efficacy, and readiness of Human Development Cadres were measured before and after the intervention using instruments developed based on the detailed tasks of Human Development Cadres. Paired t-test was used to analyze the data. The results showed significant differences in perception, self-efficacy, and readiness (p0,001). The home visit-based training program has a significant effect on improving perceptions, self-efficacy and readiness of Human Development Cadres in the long-term care of children with stunting. The home visit-based training program needs to be part of routine interventions in empowering Human Development Cadres, especially to support the long-term care of children with stunting.

Abstract

Introduction: The Patient-Centered Care (PCC) model aims to improve the quality of healthcare services by upholding human dignity and recognizing each patient’s individuality, regardless of nationality, ethnicity, skin color, age, gender, political beliefs, religion, or social status. This study aimed to identify key factors influencing patient satisfaction with healthcare services based on PCC principles, specifically comparing patients with BPJS and non-BPJS payment statuses. Methods: This quantitative study employed a cross-sectional design. A total of 315 respondents who had been hospitalized for more than 24 hours at Bunda Margonda Hospital were selected through convenience sampling. Data were collected using the PPE-15 questionnaire and analyzed using descriptive statistics, Chi-square tests, and logistic regression. Results: Among BPJS patients, satisfaction was significantly influenced by gender (p = 0.029), marital status (p = 0.023), education (p = 0.020), and length of treatment (p = 0.025). In the non-BPJS group, age (p = 0.029) and marital status (p = 0.024) were significant factors. Logistic regression analysis revealed that length of stay was the most influential factor for BPJS patients (aOR = 2.3; p = 0.023), whereas marital status was the primary factor for non-BPJS patients (aOR = 1.3; p = 0.024).Conclusion: A shorter length of hospital stay is positively associated with higher satisfaction among BPJS patients, while marital status significantly influences satisfaction among non-BPJS patients. These findings highlight the need for tailored approaches in delivering patient-centered care based on payment status and demographic characteristics.
