Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran Learning Cycle 5E dalam meningkatkan minat belajar siswa kelas IV pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS) di SDN 1 Paledang. Model pembelajaran Learning Cycle 5E terdiri dari lima tahap, yaitu Engage, Explore, Explain, Elaborate, dan Evaluate, yang dirancang untuk mendorong partisipasi aktif dan berpikir kritis siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan dalam tiga siklus, masing-masing melibatkan tahapan refleksi awal, perencanaan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi, dan refleksi akhir. Subjek penelitian adalah 36 siswa kelas IV, terdiri dari 18 siswa perempuan dan 18 siswa laki-laki. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes pretest dan post-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dari siklus I hingga siklus III, dengan persentase ketuntasan belajar meningkat dari 39% pada siklus I menjadi 56% pada siklus III. Dengan demikian, penerapan model Learning Cycle 5E terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan minat belajar siswa dan hasil belajar pada mata pelajaran IPAS.

Abstract

Pada hakikatnya pembelajaran IPS sangat penting diajarkan kepada siswa sejak mereka menempuh pendidikan dasar. Hal ini dapat terlihat dari banyaknya siswa yang masih belum memahami sepenuhnya setiap materi yang diajarkan pada pelajaran IPS Pada era revolusi 4.0 diharapkan pendidik dapat menfasilitasi peserta didik untuk dapat berpikir kritis terhadap masalah sosial dan kehidupansosial, kreatif dalam menanggapi hal-hal yang berhubungan dengan kehidupan sosial, pendidik mampu mengarahkan peserta didik untuk berdiskusi terhadap sesama dan juga melakukan kerja sama untuk menanggapi hal-hal dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat. Pembelajaran IPS pada tingkat sekolah dasar (SD) harus dibelajarkan kepeserta didik secara kontruktivis.terdapat 5 (lima) metode yang dapat diajarkan pada pembelajaran IPS antara lain cooperative based learning, design based learning, inquiry based learning, project based learning, dan problem based learning. Metode yang digunakan pada penilitian ini berupa kajian pustaka.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran guru dalam menumbuhkan karakter religius pada siswa kelas II di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif. Pelaksanaan penelitian ini dilakukan di MI Citamiang. Secara administratif masuk dalam wilayah Kecamatan kadudampit, Kabupaten Sukabumi. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Untuk memperoleh data yang dapat dipertanggungjawabkan secara ilmiah, penelitian ini menggunakan teknik triangulasi, yaitu teknik pengulangan informasi yang diperoleh dari sumber sehingga pada akhirnya data absah yang digunakan untuk mencapai hasil penelitian. Guru menggunakan metode demonstrasi dan teladan untuk membantu pemahaman siswa, menangani kesulitan siswa dengan menanyakan kesulitannya lalu memberikan solusi. Guru berhasil menerapkan pembiasaan mengucap salam saat memasuki kelas untuk membentuk karakter religius siswa. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa guru telah melaksanakan perannya dengan baik dalam menumbuhkan karakter religius siswa melalui kegiatan di dalam dan di luar kelas

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran layanan bimbingan pribadi terhadap karakter kejujuran anak. Subjek penelitian sebanyak 2 anak SD kelas V MI Cibolang kaler dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan secara triangulasi melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa layanan bimbingan pribadi memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap karakter kejujuran anak. Melalui observasi, ditemukan bahwa anak-anak yang menerima layanan bimbingan pribadi lebih cenderung menunjukkan perilaku jujur dalam berbagai situasi. Wawancara dengan anak-anak dan dokumentasi aktivitas bimbingan menegaskan peran signifikan layanan tersebut dalam membentuk nilai-nilai kejujuran. Implikasi dari penelitian ini dapat memberikan pandangan yang lebih jelas tentang pentingnya integrasi layanan bimbingan pribadi dalam pendidikan anak untuk mengembangkan karakter kejujuran sejak dini.

Abstract

Mewujudkan kelompok masyarakat yang berkualitas dan potensial, peran media sangat penting dalam peningkatan sumber daya manusia melalui proses pendidikan, dimulai dari pendidikan dasar. Dengan demikian, pembelajaran kooperatif menjadi suatu pendekatan yang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Salah satu model pembelajaran kooperatif yang efektif adalah tipe STAD. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melaksanakan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD pada mata pelajaran Lambang Negara Indonesia di kelas III SDN Sukaharja, dan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Lambang Negara Indonesia setelah diterapkan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode pembelajaran kooperatif STAD (Student Teams-Achievement Divisions) efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar dan partisipasi siswa. Penerapan metode ini pada mata pelajaran Lambang Negara Indonesia di kelas III SDN Sukaharja menunjukkan peningkatan nilai siswa yang signifikan, dengan semakin banyak siswa yang memperoleh nilai tinggi setelah penerapan metode tersebut. Abstract

This research was motivated by the low speaking skills of third-grade students at SDN Gudang, particularly in expressing ideas fluently and confidently in front of the class. The objective of this study was to improve students' speaking skills through the implementation of storytelling as an engaging and interactive learning approach. The study employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design based on the Kemmis and McTaggart model, which consisted of three cycles. Each cycle included the stages of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were 31 third-grade students. The instruments used included performance tests and observation checklists to assess speaking skills. The findings revealed a significant improvement in students’ speaking abilities across the cycles. The percentage of students achieving learning mastery increased from 16.1% in the pre-cycle to 87% in both the second and third cycles. The improvement encompassed fluency, self-confidence, and expressive ability. It can be concluded that storytelling is an effective method for enhancing students' speaking skills in primary education while also fostering motivation and active participation in the learning process.

Abstract

This research aims to enhance the learning motivation of fourth-grade students in Science and Social Studies (IPAS) through the implementation of the Numbered Heads Together (NHT) cooperative learning model. The study was motivated by the issue of low student motivation, which negatively impacts learning outcomes. The Classroom Action Research (CAR) method was used, consisting of two cycles that included planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The findings demonstrate that applying the NHT model effectively boosts students’ motivation, as reflected in increased participation, cooperation, and responsibility within groups. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the NHT cooperative learning model is effective in enhancing learning motivation in IPAS subjects for fourth-grade students.

Abstract

Objective of this study was to increase students' interest in reading in class IVat SDN 01 Cimahi in Indonesian language subject by utilizing picture story media. The problem that became the focus was the lack of students' interest in reading. which has an impact on the low achievement of less than optimal learning outcomes. The type of method used in this research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) with a combination approach of qualitative and qualitative data. (PTK) with a combination approach of qualitative and quantitative data, which was conducted in two cycle stages in the even semester of the 2024/2025 school year. Subjects The research subjects consisted of 33 fourth grade students at SD Negeri Cimahi. Each cycle consists of four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The instruments used included student activity observation sheets, tests, interviews, and documentation. From the results of the research, there was a noticeable in students' interest in reading. In the pre-cycle, the average interest in reading interest was only 39,39% (less interest category), then increased to reach 54,55% in cycle I (moderate interest), and reached 81,82% in cycle II (interest category). From the research results from the results of this study, it can be concluded that picture stories are effective for foster students' interest in reading.

Abstract

The primary objective of this study was to explore how the Mind Mapping instructional approach influences the creative thinking abilities of fourth-grade students in mathematics. This research utilized a quantitative method employing a quasi-experimental design involving two distinct groups: one serving as the experimental group and the other as the control group. The study was conducted at SDN Karadenan, with a sample of 24 fourth-grade students participating in the experimental group and 29 students from SDN Paledang in the control group, selected through purposive sampling. The main focus was to assess the impact of the Mind Mapping approach on students' creative thinking skills in mathematics. Data was collected using the t-test method. The mean difference between the two groups was 4.89 (experimental group = 66.70 and control group = 52.65), indicating that the Mind Mapping approach was more effective compared to traditional lecture methods, question-answer sessions, and assignments. The findings were statistically significant (p = 0.000) based on Independent Sample T-Test analysis. As the significance level (0.000) was less than 0.05, the null hypothesis was rejected, confirming that the Mind Mapping approach significantly enhances creative thinking skills in mathematics among students. Thus, it can be concluded that the Mind Mapping instructional model has a substantial positive impact on students' creative thinking abilities in the context of mathematics.

Abstract

The background of this study is the unsatisfactory motivation of grade II students to learn mathematics, especially in addition and subtraction lessons. The use of dull and ineffective learning techniques contributes to students' low learning motivation. Therefore, the use of STAD type cooperative learning model is one of the solutions that can be used for second grade elementary school students. This study aims to determine the effect of the STAD type cooperative learning model on grade II students' learning motivation in addition and subtraction in mathematics. The approach used is a quantitative and quasi-experimental method. The population consisted of all SDN Tugu and SDN 1 Kalaparea; the sample consisted of 35 grade II SDN Tugu students as the experimental class and 29 students of grade II SDN 1 Kalaparea as the control class. These learners were selected using a purposive sampling technique. The data collection techniques were tests, questionnaires, observation, and documentation. The techniques used to analyze the data are validity test, reliability test, normality test, homogeneity test, and T-test. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it is concluded that using the STAD type cooperative learning model increases the motivation to learn mathematics in the material of addition and subtraction of standard-length units. This can be seen from the data analysis obtained, where the sig value (2-tailed) of 0.0001 is less than 0.05, meaning that the probability value of sig.
