Abstract

Pengembangan karir merupakan hal yang penting bagi seorang guru dan karena hal ini sangat berpengaruh setidaknya terhadap kepuasan kerja dan peningkatan penghasilan. Salah satu upaya bagi guru dalam mengembangkan karir adalah dengan melakukan penulisan karya tulis ilmiah yang terpublikasi. Karya tulis ilmiah menunjukkan bahwa guru benar-benar menguasai kompetensinya sehingga layak disebut guru profesional. Karya tulis ilmiah adalah tulisan guru mengenai kajian pendidikan serta metode pembelajaran yang dilakukan.  Kesulitan guru untuk menyusun karya tulis ilmiah dapat dimaklumi karena secara umum guru belum terlatih serta belum pernah menyusun karya tulis ilmiah. Untuk menanggulangi kendala yang dihadapi para guru di atas maka perlu diberikan pelatihan pembuatan karya tulis ilmiah dengan menggunakan aplikasi Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK). Berdasarkan hal tersebut, maka pengabdian ini akan memberikan pelatihan penulisan karya tulis ilmiah berbasis TIK untuk guru di SMP Negeri 28 Sarolangun. Dari pelatihan ini diharapkan guru dapat membuat karya ilmiah berupa buku dan artikel untuk menunjang karir yang selanjutnya akan berdampak pada peningkatan SDM sekolah

Abstract

Media dan sumber belajar yang dibuat dan dikreasikan oleh guru dan siswa dapat memberikan manfaat yang besar bagi ketercapaian tujuan pembelajaran yang diharapkan. Mengkreasikan barang-barang atau bahan-bahan yang ada di lingkungan sekolah dapat meningkatkan kreativitas siswa serta membuat kegiatan pembelajaran menjadi lebih bermakna. Media pembelajaran dan sumber belajar merupakan penunjang proses belajar yang selalu berlangsung dalam suatu lingkungan pendidikan yang mencangkup lingkungan fisik, sosial, intelektual dan nilai-nilai. Lingkungan di sekitar peserta didik, baik yang ada di dalam maupun yang ada di luar sekolah, dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai sumber belajar, dimana dengan pemanfaatan lingkungan tersebut, peserta didik mendapatkan pengalaman belajar konkret karena dapat mengamati objek secara langsung sehingga proses pembelajaran menjadi optimal

Abstract

The aim of this research is to study how curriculum innovation is very important to improve the quality of education and how it is relevant to the needs of society and the job market. This research method involves analyzing literature from various sources of information related to curriculum innovation. The data was analyzed descriptively to find emerging patterns and trends related to curriculum innovation. The results show that curriculum innovation, especially the Competency Based Curriculum, benefits students in improving their skills and preparing them to face future challenges. Sustainable, community-based curriculum planning is critical to discussions of these outcomes. The result is that this research emphasizes that the curriculum must be created continuously with a focus on improving students' abilities and adapting them to society's needs to provide relevant and high-quality education.

Abstract

Perkembangan pendidikan non formal yang begitu pesat ternyata belum diimbangi oleh kualitas lembaga-lembaga tersebut dalam memberikan layanan pendidikan kepada masyarakat. Kualitas pengelolaan program pendidikan non formal sangat ditentukan oleh pencapaian standar penyelenggaraan kegiatan pada lembaga pendidikan non formal. Untuk dapat mewujudkan tujuan dari pendidikan nasional, lembaga pendidikan non formal harus memiliki tata kerja dan prosedur yang berlaku untuk dapat menyelenggarakan pendidikannya. Hal ini memiliki tujuan agar pendidikan non formal menjadi salah satu alternatif bagi masyarakat yang tidak sempat mengenyam pendidikan formal dapat belajar seperti layaknya pendidikan formal. Selain itu juga tata kerja dan prosedur yang jelas akan mempermudah jalannya kehidupan lembaga pendidikan nonformal tersebut. Tulisan ini menggunakan metode berupa kajian teori mengenai prosedur dan tata kerja dalam penyelenggaraan pendidikan non formal. Teori-teori yang dikemukakan dalam tulisan ini adalah teori mengenai pendidikan non formal, ditambah teori mengenai prosedur dan tata kerja secara umum serta penjelasan secara khusus mengenai prosedur dan tata kerja pada lembaga pendidikan non formal

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis Profil Pelajar Pancasila dengan berlandaskan kearifan lokal Suku Anak Dalam (SAD) Jambi. Metode penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Adapun subjek dalam penelitian ini ialah para Tumenggung, Mengku dan masyarakat SAD Jambi. Untuk teknik  pengumpulan  data  yang digunakan  dalam penelitian  ini  yaitu  melalui  pengamatan (observasi), wawancara, studi literatur, dan studi dokumentasi kemudian dianalisis untuk menjelaskan Profil Pelajar Pancasila yang berbasis kearifan lokal SAD Jambi. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keenam dimensi termasuk elemen kunci dari Profil Pelajar Pancasila telah terimplementasikan dengan baik melalui kearifan lokal dalam kehidupan masyarakat SAD Jambi secara turun-temurun. Temuan ini menekankan pentingnya pengkajian kearifan lokal khususnya pada SAD Jambi sebagai salah satu wujud pelestarian. Profil Pelajar Pancasila ditetapkan oleh Kemendikbudristek diajarkan pada pendidikan formal saja. SAD Jambi, yang mayoritas anggotanya tidak mendapatkan akses ke pendidikan formal, tidak sepenuhnya memahami keenam dimensi Profil Pelajar Pancasila tersebut. Namun, adat istiadat, kebiasaan, dan tradisi yang dimiliki oleh masyarakat SAD Jambi telah menerapkan setiap dimensi Profil Pelajar Pancasila dalam kehidupan sehari-hari mereka secara turun-temurun. Penelitian ini dapat membantu mengintegrasikan kearifan lokal SAD ke dalam kurikulum pendidikan formal dan non-formal.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategic role of public relations management (PR) in improving the quality of education in schools through various communication mechanisms and community involvement. PR has an important role as a liaison between schools and the community in building trust, disseminating information, and creating a more transparent and participatory educational environment. This study uses a library research method by reviewing various academic literature, scientific journals, and policy documents relevant to PR management in educational institutions. The results of the study indicate that effective communication strategies, both through digital media, routine meetings, and institutional publications, have a positive impact on the image of the school and increase community involvement in the educational process. In addition, well-managed PR can strengthen the relationship between schools and various stakeholders, including the government, the business world, and social organizations, thus supporting the development of more sustainable education programs. The impact of the implementation of optimal PR management is also seen in increasing student learning motivation, active participation of parents in education policies, and improving the quality of teaching through teacher training programs and the provision of more adequate educational facilities. Thus, the role of PR in education is not just an administrative function, but also a strategic element that contributes to creating a more inclusive, innovative, and quality education ecosystem.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the use of public relations social media in educational institutions as well as improving the image of the institution. This research applies a library research approach, a method for collecting data from various written sources that are relevant to the research topic. A literature review of the use of social media in education has depicted a variety of purposes including promoting events and activities, conveying important information to parents and students, interacting directly with followers, sharing instructional content, highlighting achievements and awards, and forming online communities. The use of social media for public relations purposes in various educational institutions makes contributions, such as expanding the scope of communication, stimulating greater community involvement and interaction, increasing the institution's positive reputation, as well as increasing information accessibility and the level of transparency for various stakeholders.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the influence of communication patterns and the role of image makers on the image of public relations organizations. The research method used is library study, with a focus on analyzing relevant literature from various academic and professional sources. This approach allows a thorough understanding of the factors that influence organizational communication and image formation. The results of this research conclude that transparent, open and consistent communication patterns have a positive impact on the image of a public relations organization. Clear and regular communication can strengthen the relationship between an organization and its audiences, build trust, and increase understanding of the organization's goals and values.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the evaluation of the new student admission program with a socialization approach. Socialization is a way to promote the organization directly. The goal is to describe socialization in new student admissions in educational institutions that can explain the context, input, process, and products that exist in the university environment. So that it can see the evaluation of the public relations program carried out. This research is a literature study to understand and study theories from various literatures relevant to the research. This literature technique uses content analysis as a data analysis technique. The evaluation carried out looks at the socialization that describes the background through the context, the evaluation that assesses the existing indicators through inputs, resources, facilities and infrastructure to achieve program goals, the evaluation process is carried out by SNMPTN, SBMPTN, and Independent pathways, while product evaluation is carried out by assessing the suitability of campus capacity.

Abstract

This study deals with the implementation of innovation curriculum of the Pancasila (P5) Student Profile Enhancement project as well as an overview of its effectiveness and impact in student character formation. The method used is the Literature Systematic Review (SLR) which involves the analysis of ten related articles. Many of the previous researchers have discussed the Merdeka Curriculum, however, still few are discussing P5 specifically especially how effective and impact on student character formation. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the independent P5 curriculum in Indonesia. Although P5 project-based activities are still new to the independent curriculum, the results show good effectiveness. The enthusiasm of students for the many projects created by teachers or even the government is huge. The findings of this research provide further understanding of the importance of innovation in the curriculum to shape the character of students in accordance with Pancasila's values. The results of the library survey analysis of the interactive, collaborative project-based approach used in the P5 successfully improved the understanding, appreciation, and practice of implementation of Pancasila values among students. However, there are challenges such as the availability of resources and the need for regular monitoring and evaluation to be taken into account in an effort to maintain the quality of implementation of the P5 curriculum.
