Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of implementing electronic medical records (RME) in enhancing the effectiveness of medical recorders' work at Hasna Medika Hospital, Cirebon. The qualitative method was employed, with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and literature review. The results indicate that the implementation of RME at Hasna Medika Hospital, Cirebon, is sufficiently effective in terms of security, data integrity, and availability. Additionally, RME has reduced the workload for medical recorders and accelerated the medical recording process. However, challenges such as server disruptions and discrepancies between service indicator outputs and manual calculations were identified. To address these issues, the hospital needs to refine the RME system according to user requirements to further enhance the effectiveness of medical recorders.

Abstract

The online outpatient registration system is a technological innovation in healthcare aimed at enhancing the efficiency of registration services. One of its implementations is carried out at Hasna Medika Cirebon Hospital through the Mobile JKN application. However, several challenges persist in its execution. This study aims to evaluate the impact, benefits, challenges, and solutions related to the use of the online registration application at Hasna Medika Cirebon Hospital. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method with purposive sampling. Informants include the head of the medical records department, registration staff, customer service officers responsible for managing Mobile JKN, and patients using the application. Data were collected through observation and interviews, followed by analysis through the processes of data collection, reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the implementation of the online outpatient registration system positively impacts the reduction of the registration staff's workload and facilitates patient access. Nevertheless, challenges remain, particularly for elderly patients without smartphones or those visiting the hospital unaccompanied. The hospital addresses these issues by providing patient education on system usage.

Abstract

Peningkatan mutu rumah sakit membutuhkan indikator pelayanan rumah sakit yang terorganisir dengan baik. Indikator rumah sakit merupakan faktor penentu dalam penilaian suatu rumah sakit. Mutu rumah sakit dapat dilihat dari produktivitas pelayanan yang meliputi aspek medis, administrasi, informasi, dan manajemen. Temuan di lapangan menunjukkan adanya masalah kurang efisiennya pengolahan dan pelaporan data dari ruangan menjadi informasi indikator rumah sakit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mengevaluasi indikator kinerja kesehatan seperti Bed Turn Over (BTO), Bed Occupancy Index (BOI), Length of Stay (LOS), Turn Over Interval (TOI), Neonatal Death Rate (NDR), dan General Death Rate (GDR) di rumah sakit. Metodologi penelitian melibatkan analisis data rumah sakit yang mencakup kapasitas tempat tidur, lama rawat pasien, interval perubahan tempat tidur, serta tingkat kematian bersih dan kasar. Penelitian ini memberikan gambaran komprehensif tentang kinerja rumah sakit dengan mempertimbangkan beberapa indikator yang saling terkait. Temuan ini dapat menjadi dasar untuk pengembangan strategi perbaikan kinerja rumah sakit dan peningkatan kualitas layanan kesehatan. Dalam konteks ini, penting untuk terus memantau dan mengevaluasi indikator-indikator tersebut guna mendukung pengambilan keputusan yang tepat dalam pengelolaan rumah sakit.

Abstract

Promises ethics in service triangle context on higher education can be met if performance improves superior performance and be given the implications for competitive advantage. The purpose of this study was to analyze and determine promising ethics in service marketing triangle and competitive advantage of higher education. The research method used is survey method, namely descriptive and explanatory. The number of respondents in the study is 330 students of the polytechnic in West Java, which is determined by sampling technique, which is cluster proportional random sampling. The hypothesis testing was done using a multivariate statistical test of the Partial Least Square (PLS). The data processing was done with smartPLS 2.0 programs and Statistical Programs of Social Science (SPSS) for Windows. The results show that: The promising ethics in service triangle context and competitive advantage influence as well but not quite good. The promising ethics in service marketing triangle context can be met also if performance improves international collaboration on higher education as well, so that promises ethics can be achieved optimally and be given the implications for competitive advantage of higher education. The goal of internationalization of higher education are: 1) improve the quality of education; 2) improve the quality of research; 3) improve the competence and capacity of academic staff and researchers; 4) improve the competence and capacity of graduates; 5) enhance the college's reputation in the eyes of the international and financial gain; and 6) respond to the demands of the labor market of qualified internationally. There are five (5) general principles of corporate governance known as good corporate governance (GCG). Those are: Transparency, Accountability, Responsibility, Fairness and Indepandency.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk  menganalisis sejauh manaiefektivitas penerapan Sistem Informasi Manajemen Rumah Sakit (SIMRS) di unit rekam medis RSUD Kesehatan KerjaiProvinsi Jawai Barat. Metodeipenelitian yang digunakan adalah metode model Hot-Fit yang mencakup faktor Human, Organization, Technology dan Benefit dengan jenis penelitian deskriftif kualitatif. Sumber data dikumpulkan dengan melakukan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa dari kerangka kerja metode Hot-Fit yang telah dilakukan terdapat dua faktor yang diidentifikasi sebagai faktor yang perlu ditingkatkan. Pertama, dalam faktor Human, terdapat pengguna system yang belum melaksanakan pelatihan secara resmi mengenai pengggunaan aplikasi SIMRS sehingga belum meningkatkan kepuasan pengguna secara maksimal. Kedua, dalam faktor Technology yang masih memiliki kendala utama yaitu konektivitas jaringan yang tidak stabil pada saat jam pelayanan. Namun secara keseluruhan dari penelitian ini dapat disimulkan bahwa penerapan SIstem Informasi Manajemen RUmah Sakit (SIMRS) di RSUD Kesehatan kerja Provinsi Jawa Barat berjalan dengan efektif dan memberikan manfaat yang signifikan serta memenuhi harapan dari pengguna. Penelitian ini memberikan pemahaman yang baik untuk keberhasilan dan melakukan pengembangan Sistem Informasi Manajemen Rumah Sakit di lingkungan layanan kesehatan.

Abstract

Devotion focuses on the efforts of socialization and assistance conducted to implement Electronic Health Records (EHR) at Salimbatu Public Health Center. EHR represents a technological breakthrough in medical data management aimed at enhancing efficiency, accuracy, and quality healthcare services. However, for a successful adoption of EHR in primary care clinics, it is crucial to understand and address both social and technical challenges that may arise. This study employs a case study approach, collecting data through interviews with clinic staff, observations, and document analysis related to EHR implementation Devotion findings indicate that the socialization of EHR at Salimbatu Public Health Center involves intensive training for clinic staff, regular meetings to discuss progress, and patient education regarding the benefits of EHR. Technical support is provided through a team of experts who offer technical assistance, system improvements, and day-to-day issue resolution. The outcomes of this implementation include a significant enhancement in medical data management efficiency, reduced human errors, and improved patient services. Socialization and assistance are vital components for the successful implementation of EHR at Salimbatu Public Health Center

Abstract

The identification and verification program for latrine assistance in Benggara Village is an effort to improve access to proper sanitation for the community. The process involves identifying households in need of assistance, followed by a survey or verification of latrine conditions, and an evaluation of eligibility. Initially, we managed to determine 40 households eligible for assistance. However, after the survey was conducted, only 35 households met the requirements, such as having available materials like boards, cement, and pipes. The implementation of the program involved active community participation and continuous monitoring. The results are evident not only in the improved latrine infrastructure but also in increased community awareness of the importance of good sanitation. This program is expected to serve as an example for similar efforts elsewhere in improving access to proper sanitation for the community.

Abstract

The training and implementation of the medical record retention application at Klinik Pratama Prima Husada Bandung aim to enhance the efficiency of medical record document management in accordance with applicable regulations. The application is designed to support the selection, transfer, and disposal of medical record documents based on the specified retention period, thereby reducing the accumulation of physical documents and expediting information access. The training activities involved healthcare workers and administrative staff, covering topics such as the introduction of medical record retention concepts, application usage, and document management simulations. The implementation results showed that the application improved accuracy in categorizing documents into active and inactive groups and enhanced efficiency in retrieving required documents. Furthermore, the application ensured compliance with regulations related to medical record management. With the success of this training and implementation, Klinik Pratama Prima Husada Bandung is expected to improve the quality of medical record management, support digital transformation, and provide better-organized healthcare services to patients. Among the 20 participants, 5 (25%) were highly proficient, 5 (25%) were moderately proficient, and 10 (50%) were proficient.

Abstract

As technology advances, all fields are compelled to transition from manual to electronic processes, including informed consent. The implementation of electronic informed consent requires an examination of its execution and usage. Electronic signatures are used for verification and authentication in clinical information recording and documentation. From a legal perspective, medical records need validity to be used as legal evidence. RS PKU Muhammadiyah Petanahan has implemented informed consent using electronic signatures in the form of barcodes. This study aims to determine the validity of using electronic signatures on informed consent, as well as its security and privacy aspects. This research employs a qualitative method with an ethnographic design. The results show that the type of electronic signature used is a non-certified electronic signature in the form of a barcode. This signature was chosen because it facilitates healthcare workers in completing informed consent documents and its creation process is relatively easy and affordable. Currently, the regulation referenced for the use of electronic signatures in electronic medical records at RS PKU Muhammadiyah Petanahan is Law No. 19 of 2016 on Information and Electronic Transactions. In terms of security, electronic informed consent data is stored in a database on a computer server. Regarding privacy, there is a Standard Operating Procedure (SPO) that governs its use. Non-certified electronic signatures on medical records potentially pose a security risk. Therefore, based on the research results, it is recommended to change the type of electronic signature to a certified electronic signature

Abstract

Indonesian Air Force Hospital Dr. M. Salamun Air Force Medical Service is a Level II military hospital in Bandung Regency, West Java. The problem encountered with the medical record lending system is that this hospital still uses the manual method of lending medical records, which is only entered in the expedition book, which causes delays in the lending of the medical records used for this by the Officials conduct problem, purpose of research This is done so that the lending information system can be computerized, which can make it easier for medical records unit officials to process loaned medical record files quickly, precisely and accurately. The type of research conducted is qualitative through observation, officer interviews and literature study with software development methods using the waterfall method. The design phase begins with the system requirements analysis phase, after which a flow map is created as the flow of the system process to be created, context diagram, data flow diagram and entity relationship diagram. Implement an information system that supports Microsoft Visual Basic and a Microsoft SQL Server database. The results of the draft lending information system carried out by the officials no longer recorded the lending of medical records in the expedition book. The officers felt supported by the computerized system as the work done was faster
