Abstract

Modifications in the curriculum of education signify advancements in science and technology. The Merdeka curriculum is an initiative aimed at addressing contemporary demands and technological integration, affecting education across multiple levels. This study seeks to evaluate the transition to the independent curriculum from the 2013 curriculum in primary schools, focusing on its implementation, challenges, impacts, and potential solutions. This research employs a descriptive qualitative methodology. The findings of this study indicate that the independent curriculum is executed in phases in accordance with governmental directions. The process of transitioning the independent curriculum from the 2013 curriculum has three transitional stages: freedom to learn, share, and change. The main obstacle is teacher adaptation to a new, more flexible approach. In addition, limited facilities and infrastructure, such as the availability of learning books, digital devices, and technological literacy, are a challenge. The positive effects are that student participation in the learning process becomes more active, creative, and oriented in each task. In terms of administration, the workload becomes lighter. Solutions for Handling the Obstacles of the 2013 Curriculum Transition to the Independent Curriculum in Elementary Schools include providing intensive assistance to teachers, optimizing training, and conducting regular evaluations to see what still needs improvement.

Abstract

ABSTRAK                                                                                     Media pembelajaran berbasis digital merupakan aktualisasi guru dalam meningkatkan kompetensi terkhusus untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis gamifikasi. Hal ini menjadi pertimbangan kepala sekolah SDN 3 Jerowaru selaku mitra untuk melaksanakan pelatihan integrasi platform quizizz dan educaplay untuk pengembangan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis gamifikasi. Pelaksanaan pelatihan dilakukan di SDN 3 Jerowaru untuk 14 guru disekolah. Tahap awal pelatihan dengan pembagian angket pretest sebelum memberi pelatihan oleh pemateri. Penyampaian materi terkait pengenalan aplikasi dan demonstrasi cara mengoperasikan aplikasi. Tidak sampai disana, guru-guru mempraktikan secara langsung pada laptop masing-masing. Tahap akhir yaitu pemberian postest sebagai evaluasi untuk mengetahui peningkatan komptensi guru. Hasil pretest menunjukkan bahwa 8 dari 14 guru masih memiliki keterbatasan dalam pemanfaatan aplikasi digital untuk pembelajaran. Setelah mengikuti pelatihan, terjadi peningkatan signifikan pada rata-rata skor posttest guru, dari 62,1 menjadi 90,7, serta peningkatan kepercayaan diri dan motivasi dalam mengembangkan media interaktif di kelas. Guru juga menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi dan kolaborasi aktif selama pelatihan. Kegiatan ini membuktikan bahwa pelatihan integrasi Quizizz dan Educaplay efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan sikap guru terhadap inovasi pembelajaran digital. Diharapkan, model pelatihan ini dapat menjadi rujukan dalam pengembangan profesionalisme guru di era digital. Kata kunci: Quiziz; Educaplay, Elementary, Interaktif  ABSTRACTDigital-based learning media serve as a means for teachers to actualize and enhance their professional competencies, particularly in developing interactive gamified learning tools. This consideration prompted the principal of SDN 3 Jerowaru, as the partner institution, to organize a training program focused on the integration of Quizizz and Educaplay platforms for the development of interactive gamified learning media. The training was conducted at SDN 3 Jerowaru and involved 14 teachers from the school. The initial stage of the training began with the distribution of a pre-test questionnaire to assess baseline knowledge prior to the delivery of material by the instructors. The content covered an introduction to the applications and a demonstration of how to operate them effectively. Importantly, teachers were also given the opportunity to directly practice using the platforms on their respective laptops. In the final stage, a post-test was administered to evaluate improvements in teacher competence. The pre-test results revealed that 8 out of 14 teachers still faced significant limitations in utilizing digital applications for instructional purposes. However, following the training, there was a marked improvement in the teachers’ average post-test scores, increasing from 62.1 to 90.7. In addition, teachers reported increased confidence and motivation in developing interactive media for classroom use. High levels of enthusiasm and active collaboration were also observed throughout the training sessions. This activity demonstrated that training on the integration of Quizizz and Educaplay is effective in enhancing teachers’ knowledge, skills, and attitudes toward digital learning innovation. It is hoped that this training model can serve as a reference for the ongoing professional development of teachers in the digital era. Keywords: Quizizz; Educaplay; Elementary; Interactive

Abstract

Kumpulan cerpen Sebuah Pertanyaan untuk Cinta karya Seno Gumira Ajidarma merupakan  objek kajian dalam penelitian ini. Latar belakang dianalisisnya kumpulan cerpen ini, karena tersirat pesan moral melalui perilaku tokoh wanita yang ingin bebas melakukan perselingkuhan. Dalam kumpulan cerpen terdapat empat belas cerpen yang menceritakan tokoh wanita dalam petualangan hidupnya. Namun, dalam penelitian ini akan dikaji empat cerpen yang penokohan tokoh wanitanya mengalami konflik kejiwaan yang disebabkan oleh permasalahan cinta. Teori yang digunakan yakni teori cinta eros Sigmund Freud yang merupakan bagian dari teori psikologi. Cinta eros yang berobjek seksual dengan mengidentifikasi tiga unsur, yakni cinta dari asalnya bersifat seksual, kasih yang eksklusif dan penafsiran yang berlebihan, dan cinta narsistik dan egoistik. Ketiga sifat cinta tersebut memengaruhi tingkah laku, pola pikir, dan kejiwaan tokoh wanita yang hanya menginginkan kenikmatan seksual dan selalu mempertanyakan makna cinta.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of integrating Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) and ice breaking in teaching reading and writing literacy at the elementary school level. Employing a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design, the research involved fourth-grade students from SDN Mataram Regency, divided into experimental and control groups. Data collection instruments included literacy tests and observation sheets measuring student engagement. The results revealed that the experimental group receiving instruction with integrated TPACK and ice breaking showed a significant improvement in literacy scores, with an average increase of 31.2%, compared to only 11.7% in the control group. Furthermore, this integration enhanced student engagement during the learning process. In conclusion, the TPACK and ice breaking approach not only improved students' academic outcomes but also created a more interactive and enjoyable learning environment. This study recommends adopting this strategy as an innovative solution to enhance literacy quality in elementary schools, particularly in Indonesia.

Abstract

Penelitian  ini  bertujuan  untuk  mengetahui  kemampuan  menulis  cerpen  siswa  kelas  SMK  Ulil  Albab  NW  Gegek tahun  pelajaran  2024/2025.  Metode  yang  digunakan  dalam  penelitian  ini  adalah  penelitian  deskriptif  kualitatif.  Sumber  data  yang  digunakan  dalam  penelitian  ini  adalah  20  karangan  cerpen  siswa  kelas X DKV SMK  Ulil  Albab  NW  Gegek dan  guru  mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia.  Metode  pengumpulan  data  yang  digunakan  dalam  penelitian  ini  adalah  lembar  observasi.  Subjek  penelitian  ini  adalah  siswa  kelas  X  DKV SMK Ulil Albab NW Gegek.  Dari  20  sempel  siswa.  Berdasarkan  hasil  analisis  data  kemampuan  menulis  cerpen  dalam  kualifikasi  baik  sekali  sebanyak  4  siswa  (20%).  Kemampuan  menulis  cerpen  dalam  kualifikasi  baik  sebanyak  6  siswa  (30%).  Kemampuan  menulis  cerpen  dalam  kualifikasi  cukup  sebanyak  8  siswa  (40%).  Kemampuan  menulis  cerpen  dalam  kualifikasi  kurang  sebanyak  2 siswa  (10%).  Dengan  demikian  sesuai  dengan  perhitungan  rata-rata  nilai,  dapat  disimpulkan  bahwa  kemampuan  menulis  cerpen  siswa  kelas X DKV  SMK  Ulil  Albab  NW  Gegek  dengan  nilai  rata-rata  68,2  berkualifikasi  cukup.

Abstract

Tradisi nyongkolan merupakan salah satu upacara adat masyarakat Sasak di Pulau Lombok yang sarat dengan nilai-nilai sosial dan budaya. Prosesi ini biasanya diiringi dengan gendang beleq, alat musik tradisional yang memiliki makna historis dan simbolik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai edukatif yang terkandung dalam tradisi nyongkolan gendang beleq serta relevansinya dalam pendidikan budaya lokal. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi terhadap tokoh adat, pelaku budaya, serta masyarakat yang terlibat dalam tradisi tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nyongkolan gendang beleq mengandung nilai-nilai pendidikan seperti gotong royong, disiplin, tanggung jawab, penghormatan terhadap leluhur, dan pelestarian budaya. Tradisi ini dapat diintegrasikan ke dalam pendidikan formal maupun nonformal sebagai media pendidikan karakter berbasis budaya lokal. Dengan demikian, nyongkolan gendang beleq bukan hanya sebuah ritual adat, tetapi juga wahana edukasi yang memperkuat identitas budaya masyarakat Sasak.

Abstract

Ethnopedagogy is an educational approach grounded in culture that plays an important role in preserving local wisdom amid the challenges of globalisation. This study aims to describe the integration of local cultural values into the learning process and culture-based school programmes, explain the role of ethnopedagogy in shaping students' character and strengthening their cultural identity, and identify forms of collaboration between schools and communities to support the sustainability of local wisdom-based learning. This study used a qualitative phenomenological approach and was conducted at one of the public elementary schools in West Lombok Regency. The research subjects included the principal, teachers, community leaders, and 30 students in grades V and VI. Data was obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analysed using the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study indicate that ethnopedagogy is effective through Cultural Saturday activities, batik making, and Gendang Beleq drumming, which instil character values and a sense of cultural pride. The incorporation of local wisdom into Civics and Science lessons increases student motivation and understanding, while cooperation between schools and the community supports the sustainability of culture-oriented learning. A comparative analysis of informants' perspectives reveals heterogeneous learning experiences: male students are more interested in traditional Gendang Beleq music, while female students are more interested in batik and dance activities. Ethnopedagogy can be an effective educational approach for strengthening character education, preserving local culture, and developing contextual learning rooted in national cultural values.

Abstract

The Mangan Barema tradition is a communal cultural practice carried out by the people of Sumbawa that reflects values of cooperation, equality, and social responsibility. Despite the growing attention to local wisdom and character education, limited studies have examined how specific cultural traditions function as ethnopedagogical learning systems that contribute to character formation. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Mangan Barema tradition and to identify the productive values embedded in the practice in relation to elementary school character education. This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach, using participant observation, in-depth interviews with community leaders and local residents, and documentation analysis. The data were analyzed using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the Mangan Barema tradition embodies productive values such as cooperation, responsibility, equality, discipline, and social solidarity through collective activities including food preparation, ritual processions, and communal dining. These activities function as participatory learning processes that reinforce moral awareness and social responsibility among participants. The study concludes that the Mangan Barema tradition represents a form of community-based character education that supports the development of students’ social and moral values through culturally grounded learning practices.

Abstract

This study examines the contribution of the Gendang Beleq tradition in promoting mutual cooperation among elementary school students. Previous research has largely focused on Gendang Beleq as a performing art and cultural heritage, with limited attention to its role in character education, particularly in fostering cooperation. This study adopts a qualitative case study approach conducted at SDN Petemon, Lendang Ara Village, Kopang Subdistrict, Lombok. It involves five informants: the school principal, a teacher of Gendang Beleq and Pancasila Education, and three fifth-grade students actively engaged in the activities. Data were collected through observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that Gendang Beleq activities provide students with direct experiences of cooperation, shared responsibility, discipline, and social interaction through group practice and performance. Additionally, these activities contribute to preserving local culture while supporting the development of students’ character and social values.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the social, cultural, and educational values within the Nyorong tradition of the Sumbawa community in Kebayan Village, Brang Biji Subdistrict, Sumbawa Besar Regency, and to examine its implications as a source of ethnopedagogical learning. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach, utilizing data collection techniques such as observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman interactive model, which includes data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results indicate that the Nyorong tradition is still practiced as part of the Sumbawan traditional wedding ceremony and functions as a social mechanism that strengthens solidarity, cooperation, and collective community participation. Beyond serving as a traditional ritual, the community’s direct involvement in this practice creates a contextual social learning space that enables the natural internalization of moral, social, and cultural values among the younger generation through direct experience. Based on the analysis, the concept of ethnopedagogy in this study is derived from the patterns of social interaction and the process of value transmission that occur in practice within this tradition, indicating that learning takes place not only formally but also through the community’s cultural practices. The findings of this study confirm that the Nyorong tradition serves as a source of character education rooted in local wisdom, thereby strengthening culture based education. The uniqueness of this study lies in its exploration of the mechanisms through which values are internalized within the Nyorong tradition as a form of ethnopedagogy grounded in the community’s social practices.
