Abstract

The aim of this research was to determine the effect of combining vermicompost and NPK Nitrophonska 15:15:15 fertilizer on the growth and yield of mung beans (Vigna radiata L.). The research was carried out in May - July 2024 in Pancalang Village, Pancalan District, Kuningan Regency, West Java Province. The research method used was an experimental method using a Randomized Group Design (RAK). The main observations included plant height, number of trifoliate leaves (three leaflets), root length, root volume, root nodules, numbers of pods per plant, and seed weight per plot. The results showed that the combination of VermiCompost fertilizer (K1N2) and Nitrophonka NPK (K2N2) had a significant effect on plant height at 21.28 DAP and 32 DAP, respectively. The K2N2 treatment produced the best plant height (45.87 cm). The number of plant leaves was positively correlated with the number of leaflets on green bean plants (r = 0.466, p 0.05). The K1N2 treatments had the best results from several observation parameters, especially in the weight of seeds per plot in the treatment (4 kg vermisp. and 40 gr NPK).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the combination of POC concentration, rice washing water and planting distance on the growth and yield of mung bean plants (Vigna radiata L.) of the Vima 1 cultivar. The research was carried out in the Kedung Dadap block, Serang Village, Palimanan District, Cirebon Regency from May 2024 to August 2024. The experimental method used was using an experimental method with a group random design (RAK), consisting of 9 treatment combinations that were repeated 3 times. Data analysis was carried out using various fingerprints and further tests with the Duncan Brganda Distance Test at the level of 5%. The results showed that there was a real influence between the POC concentration of rice washing water and planting distance on the variables of plant height, number of leaves, flowering age, total number of pods, weight of dry seeds per plant, and weight of dry seeds per plot. The POC concentration of 50 ml/l rice washing water with a planting distance of 20 cm x 30 cm had the best effect on the weight of dry seeds per plot which resulted in a production of 1.65 kg/plot or equivalent to 1.83 tons/ha.

Abstract

Water spinach (Ipomoea reptans Poir.) is a short-lived plant that is highly nutritious, containing vitamins A, B, and C, protein, calcium, phosphorus, sitosterol, and minerals, especially iron, which are beneficial for body growth and health. The objectives of this study are to determine the significant interaction between organic (vermicompost) and inorganic (NPK) fertilizers on the growth and yield of water spinach and to identify the optimal dosages of vermi-compost and NPK fertilizers that have the best effect on its growth. The study was conducted in Tegalsari Village, Plered District, Cirebon Regency, West Java Province. The research was conducted using a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with a factorial pattern consisting of two factors: the dose of VermiCompost (K) and the dosage of NPK (N) Mutiara 16:16:16 (N). The results showed that a combination of rice straw compost at 14 tons/ha and 200 kg/ha of the NPK was found to be the best dose for achieving the highest values for plant height, number of leaves, leaf area, and fresh weight of the plants at 24 days after planting (DAP). The best results were achieved with the combination of K3 and N3 treatments, which provided the best results in terms of plant height and leaf area.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to identify the external and internal factors influencing the development of Arabica coffee agribusiness in Cisantana Village, Cigugur District, Kuningan Regency, and to explore alternative strategies that can be implemented for the advancement of this agrobusiness in the village. This research focuses on the development strategies for the Arabica Coffee Agribusiness. In this research, the population consists of all farmers in the Village, numbering 80 individuals. The sample for internal respondents is based on the Slovin formula. The internal factor analysis matrix (IFAS) for the development strategy for Arabica agbusiness shows that the strength indicator is the volume of production for development activities. The external factor analysis summary (EFAS) strategy shows that there is a gap in the existing literature on the coffee sector by focusing on the unique socio-economic conditions specific to the village, which have not been thoroughly examined in broader studies like those by Summase et al.

Abstract

Soybean (Glycine max (L.) Merril) is one of the main crops widely grown around the world and can affect various aspects of the ecosystem. One of the efforts to increase soybean production and prevent flower loss is the use of plant growth regulators (PGRs). The purpose of this research is to reduce flower loss and increase production yields in the Anjasmoro cultivar of soybean plants. This study aims to: (1) determine the significant influence of gibberellin (GA3) concentration on flower shedding, the number of pods per plant, the dry pod weight (per plant (g) and per plot (g), and the dry seed weight (pt)) of soybean. The study was carried out at Beberan Village, Palimanan District, Cirebon Regency, Indonesia. The research used Randomized Group Design (RGD) with one treatment factor and 4 replications. The results showed that the concentration of gibbelliin (GA3) significantly influenced flower loss (p0.05) and yield (p>0.05). The application of 100 ppm (N2) of GA3 can produce the highest dry weight of 901.25 g/plot or 2,815.625 kg/ha and is significantly different from other treatments. In addition, the study identified the optimal concentration that minimizes flower loss while maximizing production yield under non-stress conditions, contributing valuable insights to enhance agricultural practices aimed at improving soybean productivity in Indonesia.
