Abstract

The purpose of this community service is to test the effectiveness of the data processing workshop using minitab for functional planning officers.This workshop was held on April 14, 2022 at BAPPEDA KLU. This workshop was attended by 10 participants. The workshop method is lecturing statistical material and data processing practice using minitab. As for comparing the average pre-test and post-test scores of participants, the Wilcoxon Match Pairs Test method was used. The test results show z count = 21.00, while it is known that the value of z table = z (1-0.05) = 1.64. z count > z table, it means that the average post-test score is significantly higher than the average pre-test score or in other words, community service in the form of training has an effect on the data processing capabilities of planning functional employees at BAPPEDA KLU

Abstract

Abstract Water is the principal human needs. Utilization in all life aspect. However water availability in every area is different. Meka Village with location in Central Praya Distric Central Lombok usually deficiency of clean water in dry season. Public make use of surface water to fulfill needs. This community dedication aim at give society way to process and use coriander leaves as ingredient water clarifier. Coriander leaves have absorbs ability to solute in the water and have antioxsidants coumpound. This proven that application coriander leaves able to lowered water temperature amounting to 3,4 ℃ and ph amounting to 5,4. Based on these research could concluded that coriander leaves able to clarifier water because have nature to absorbs solute in the water and also contain antioxidants compound

Abstract

Dalam penelitian ini dibahas tentang Metode Jigsaw yang mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar.Hasil belajar yang selalu di bawah Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimum (KKM) Kelas XI MIA 4 selamatiga tahun ke belakang menjadi latar belakang penulisan ini. Metode Jigsaw adalah suatumetode pembelajaran yang menekankan siswa atau mahasiswa untuk aktif dalam memahamimateri. Metode Jigsaw ini didesain berkelompok yang terdiri atas Kelompok Asal dan KelompokAhli. Kelompok Ahli adalah beberapa siswa dengan kemampuan lebih. Mereka diberikan materiterlebih dahulu kemudian kembali ke Kelompok Asal untuk mendiskusikan materi tersebut.Dalam penelitian ini, Metode Jigsaw (yang dilakukan dalam tiga tahap) mampu meningkatkanhasil belajar siswa. Tahap 1, diperoleh nilai ketuntasan belajar sebesar 80,5% dimana rata-ratakelas sebesar 82,8. Beberapa siswa masih berada dalam tahap adaptasi dengan metode baruini. Tahap 2 dihasilkan ketuntasan belajar 86,5% dengan rata-rata kelas 86,6. Siswa sudahmulai memahami metode baru. Penelitian dapat dikatakan berhasil. Tahap 3 dihasilkanketuntasan belajar sebesar 93,3% dan rata-rata kelas senilai 90,2. Berdasarkan hasil penelitiandan indikator keberhasilan, penelitian ini dikatakan terbukti dan sukses. Metode Jigsaw mampumeningkatkan hasil belajar siswa Kelas XI MIA 4 pada Mata Pelajaran Matematika MateriMatriks.

Abstract

The promotion aims to attract prospective students to enter University. Socialization can introduce higher education institutions to senior high school students. One of the most effective ways to attract prospective students is the school visit or roadshow program. This program was carried out by lecturers and students of the mathematics division, UNW FMIPA, on May 2022 at MA Abdussatar Kediri, West Lombok. The roadshow program was attacked and got a positive response from MA Abdussatar teachers and students. The activity has given students motivation, insight, and knowledge regarding the existence of a mathematics study program at Nahdlatul Wathan University Mataram. Hopefully, this program can increase the motivation of the students to continue their education to a higher level.

Abstract

Model diskret predator-prey dalam bentuk orde fraksional dibahas di penelitian ini. Pendekatan model fraksional kontinu menjadi persamaan integral nonlinier Volterra akan menghasilkan bentuk diskret yang dituju. Titik kesetimbangan populasi menjadi pokok pembahasan. Dihasilkan tiga titik kesetimbangan dengan dua di antaranya adalah titik kesetimbangan E0 = (0,0) dan titik kesetimbangan E1 = (????, 0). Titik kesetimbangan E0 = (0,0) merepresentasikan titik kepunahan, baik pada populasi prey maupun pada populasi predator. Ini disebabkan karena populasi prey yang terus menerus dimangsa oleh predator. Punahnya populasi prey menyebabkan predator kehabisan sumber makanan dan pada suatu masa akan berujung pada kepunahan populasi predator. Titik kesetimbangan ????1= (????, 0) memberikan gambaran dimana terjadi kepunahan pada populasi predator akibat dari adanya perlindungan pada populasi prey sehingga memungkinkan adanya interaksi dalam jumlah sedikit antara predator dengan prey.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service in the form of training is to improve the ability of functional planner staff in forecasting indicator targets of regional performance. This training is the continuation of (i) the training of using parametric statistic to increase the motivation of North Lombok Regency Bappeda's functional planner staff in research and scientific publications and (ii) the training of data processing using minitab for functional planner staff. This training was held on December 9, 2022, in BAPPEDA office in North Lombok Regency. The training participants were 6 functional planner staff. The method used in this training is providing a pre test, material deliverying, followed by practical forecasting of one of the regional performance indicators and ended with a post test. The material contains the definition of forecasting and several forecasting methods suitable for limited time series data including the Moving Average (MA) method, Simple Exponential Smoothing (SES) and the Naïve method, while the post test included the questions about the material given and the practice, also asked for suggestions, criticisms and themes for the further training. The effectiveness of the training will be tested with Wilcoxon Match Pairs test. The results of this training is the participants felt very helpful and proposed several themes for the next training. Abstract

In this paper, a fractional-order predator-prey model with prey refuge and additional food for predator is solved numerically. For that aim, the model is discretized using a piecewise constant arguments. The equilibrium points of the discrete fractional-order model are investigated. Numerical simulations are conducted to see the stability of each equilibrium point. The numerical simulations show that stability of the equilibrium points is dependent on the time step.Keywords: Additional Food, Fractional-Order, Predator-Prey, Prey Refuge.

Abstract

Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk memberikan pengetahuan, pemahaman serta pengalaman untuk meningkatkan motivasi peserta didik tentang penulisan karya tulis ilmiah, karena selama ini di MTsN 1 Mataram hanya sekedar melakukan pendampingan pada saat kompetensi karya tulis ilmiah saja. Karya tulis ilmiah yang merupakan salah satu literasi menulis peserta didik merupakan keterampilan yang sangat penting diera saat ini, sehingga kampuan tersebut perlu dimiliki oleh peserta didik guna menunjang pendidikan di sekolah maupun ketika nanti melanjutkan ke jenjang perguruan tinggi. Kegiatan pelatihan ini meliputi penjelasan materi tentang kaidah-kaidah penulisan karya tulis ilmiah, cara memunculkan ide kreatif kedalam sebuah tulisan serta cara mencari sumber tulisan yang baik untuk karya tulis ilmiah. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 45 peserta didik dari kelas VII, VIII, dan IX MTsN 1 Mataram. Metode kegiatan ini ada tiga yaitu pra pelatihan, pelaksanaan pelatihan dan evaluasi pelatihan. Hasil yang diperoleh dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan yang diberikan cukup memotivasi dan meningkatkan keterampilan siswa untuk menulis karya ilmiah.

Abstract

In this work, a discretization process of a fractional-order prey and predator model is discussed. The aim of this work is to describe the population phenomenon which contains prey and predator. In this research, the prey and predator model by Ghosh et al. (2017) is used. The model has an unique form because it contains prey refuge and additional food to predator. In order to give more details on prey and predator population, the model then modified into fractional order and then discretized. The discretization model has three points of equilibrium and one of them named co-existing point of equilibrium. The numerical simulation is used to perform the stability. The numerical simulation is controlled by using mathematical programming language. It resulted that the co-existing point of equilibrium tends to be stable or converge if a small value of  (time step) is selected. Otherwise, if a larger value of  is selected, then oscillatory is appeared which means the point of equilibrium become unstable or diverge.

Abstract

Population growth refers to the change in the number of people in a given area over a specific period, driven by factors such as birth rates, death rates, and migration. With an area of 31.68 km², Selong Subdistrict has a population with an average growth rate of 1.88% per year. According to data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of East Lombok, the population growth in Selong Subdistrict is expected to continue increasing over time. This study will project the population growth in Selong Subdistrict using exponential and logistic models to predict the population size of Selong Subdistrict in 2026. The research approach used is qualitative, employing descriptive qualitative methods. The data for this study consists of population figures from 2010 to 2022, sourced from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of East Lombok. To assess the accuracy and validity of the research data, source triangulation was used, which involves verifying information from various data sources such as archives, documents, and interviews. The results of this study show that both the exponential growth model and the logistic growth model have a high level of accuracy in estimating the population, with MAPE interpretations below 10%, indicating that both models are very accurate. Keywords: Exponential Model; Logistic Model; MAPE Pertumbuhan penduduk mengacu pada perubahan jumlah penduduk di suatu wilayah tertentu selama periode waktu tertentu, yang dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor seperti angka kelahiran, angka kematian, dan migrasi. Dengan luas wilayah 31,68 km², Kecamatan Selong memiliki tingkat pertumbuhan penduduk rata-rata sebesar 1,88% per tahun. Berdasarkan data dari Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Lombok Timur, pertumbuhan penduduk di Kecamatan Selong diperkirakan akan terus meningkat seiring waktu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memproyeksikan pertumbuhan penduduk di Kecamatan Selong menggunakan model eksponensial dan logistik guna memprediksi jumlah penduduk Kecamatan Selong pada tahun 2026. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data jumlah penduduk dari tahun 2010 hingga 2022 yang diperoleh dari Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Lombok Timur. Untuk menilai akurasi dan validitas data penelitian, digunakan triangulasi sumber, yaitu memverifikasi informasi dari berbagai sumber data seperti arsip, dokumen, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa baik model pertumbuhan eksponensial maupun model pertumbuhan logistik memiliki tingkat akurasi yang tinggi dalam memperkirakan jumlah penduduk, dengan interpretasi MAPE di bawah 10%, yang menunjukkan bahwa kedua model tersebut sangat akurat.
