Abstract

CV. Sinar Ciloa Rahayu is a company engaged in construction. One of the projects handled by CV. Sinar Ciloa Rahayu is a residential construction project located at Perumahan Gombong Permai, Cianjur, West Java. The implementation of the residential construction project was delayed from the predetermined schedule, which was 99 days, the delay was due to the less than optimal management of the company. To overcome delays in project execution time requires good planning, scheduling, and control. The purpose of this research is to optimize the project execution time, so that the project can be completed according to a predetermined schedule. The optimization process will be carried out using the Critical Path Method (CPM) which will result in optimal scheduling and using the Project Evaluation and Review Technique (PERT) method which will produce probability of project toto completion time. The results obtained are the project has accelerated by 13 days with a project completion time of 99 days to 86 days with a probability of 93.65%. CV. Sinar Ciloa Rahayu merupakan sebuah perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang konstruksi. Salah satu proyek yang dijalankan oleh CV. Sinar Ciloa Rahayu adalah proyek pembangunan konstruksi rumah tinggal yang berlokasi di Perumahan Gombong Permai Cianjur, Jawa Barat. Pelaksanaan proyek pembangunan konstruksi rumah tinggal tersebut mengalami keterlambatan dari jadwal yang telah ditentukan yaitu 99 hari, keterlambatan tesebut disebabkan karena kurang optimalnya manajemen perusahaan. Untuk mengatasi keterlambatan waktu pengerjaan proyek dibutuhkan perencanaan, penjadwalan, dan pengendalian toto yang baik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengoptimalkan waktu pelaksanaan proyek, sehingga proyek tersebut dapat selesai sesuai dengan jadwal yang telah ditetapkan. Proses toto optimalisasi tersebut menggunakan metode Critical Path Method (CPM) yang akan menghasilkan penjadwalan yang optimal dan metode Program Evaluation and Review Technique (PERT) digunakan untuk menghasilkan probabilitas waktu penyelesaian proyek. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah proyek mengalami percepatan sebesar 13 hari dengan waktu penyelesaian proyek dari 99 hari menjadi 86 hari dengan probabilitas sebesar 93,65%.

Abstract

Plastics have experienced a rapid increase in production over the last 70 years. Initially, in 1950, the world only produced 2 million tons, and now production is more than 450 million tons. Around a quarter of plastic waste is thrown away and needs to be appropriately managed, namely around 82 million tons. In other words, the waste is not disposed of in a proper disposal site, not recycled or burned. This research underwent several stages: literature study, data collection, extruder design, machine element calculations, analysis and discussion. Six types of materials will be used as objects for selecting extruder materials, including SS 410, SS 422, AISI 4140, AISI 4340, AISI 1144, and AISI 1045. Planning is carried out on the machine elements so that von Misses stress and deflection values ​​are obtained to determine the appropriate values. Extruder design planning. It was concluded that the highest Von Misses Stress value was obtained for all materials with variations in material length and width, namely 700 and 45 mm. The higher the length and diameter dimensions, the higher the von Misses stress value. The highest deflection value was obtained on Stainless Steel 410 material with variations in length and width of the material, namely 700 and 45 mm. The higher the length dimension of a material, the higher the deflection value.

Abstract

In the midst of increasingly fierce competition, companies need to develop and improve performance in order to achieve effectiveness and efficiency, and solve problems faster. Linear programming can be used in an effort to optimize the production activities of companies and MSMEs. Linear programming itself is a problem model using equations or inequalities in linear form. This research was conducted at UMKM Tahu NR which is located at Jl. Raden Kubaya, Karangpawitan, West Karawang, Kab. Karawang. This factory is one of the many MSMEs that produce tofu in Karawang and has 7 employees. MSME NR produces two types of tofu, namely white tofu and yellow tofu with a net profit of Rp. 8500 for white tofu and Rp. 8800 for yellow tofu. From the existing data processing it is known that the optimal production combination to obtain maximum profits is to produce 5250 packs of white tofu and 8750 packs of yellow tofu every week, with a profit of Rp. 121,625,000 every week. Determining distribution routes using the Minimum Spanning Tree method produces optimal route with a total distance of 21.2 km.

Abstract

The increasingly advanced and rapid development of industry in Indonesia forces companies to have effective and targeted strategies. One method that can be used to provide fast and precise production process services is to reduce the costs incurred so that the production process runs smoothly and consumer demands can be met quickly and on time. The research methodology used in this research is the observation method. The results of this research are that the finish good capacity is safe if the material stored in the WM10 or WM6 area is less than 25 lots, almost full if WM6 is filled with 26-34 lots, full if WM6 is more than 34 lots. The best method for WINQB software is SES, stock demand and using a stock buffer of 2%. The Top Board material schedule for 17 days is 4749 with a cumulative total of 4861, a percentage of 102.35%. JIT Implementation Results: The number of stocks per week was 4014 and stock was 103, a percentage of 2.56% and a decrease of 99.44%. It can be concluded that the implementation of the JIT system provides a significant reduction in storage.

Abstract

Raw material inventory is a significant aspect in the industry, especially in PT XYZ company where there is a problem of excess inventory, regardless of the number of purchases per order. If the inventory of raw materials is too large, it will increase maintenance costs and storage costs in the warehouse. our abstract must be written in a single paragraph and typed in single space. The EOQ method is used in raw material control to determine the quantity of supply orders to minimize storage costs and supply order costs, minimize out of stock so as to save inventory costs incurred in making cigarette paper to be more efficient, and determine the optimal total inventory cost (TIC) in the company. The results of the proposal obtained by calculation using the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method are for cigarette paper raw materials in the form of pulp using the EOQ method calculation of 1,054,947.38 kg with a frequency of 3 orders, and Chemical raw materials of 193,939.39 kg with a frequency of 3 orders.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of the Statistical Quality Control (SQC) method in identifying and reducing the number of defective products in part A products at PT X. The data used includes the number of production and defects from June to December 2023. The SQC method is applied with the Seven Tools approach, namely check sheets, control charts, scatter diagrams, histograms, Pareto diagrams, fishbone diagrams, and flowcharts. The results of the analysis showed that the most dominant type of defect was weld holes, with a percentage of 95.5%. The main factors causing defects come from humans, machines, and production methods. The recommendations given include operator training, regular machine maintenance, the preparation of stricter work procedures, and increased production supervision. With the implementation of these improvements, the company is expected to reduce the defect rate and improve product efficiency and quality. Abstract

Dunia industri mengalami perkembangan pesat menuju era revolusi 4.0 yang ditandai dengan penggunaan teknologi canggih seperti Internet of Things (IoT) dan Artificial Intelligence (AI), sehingga menuntut kompetensi khusus bagi tenaga kerja. Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) sebagai institusi penghasil lulusan siap kerja perlu memastikan bahwa siswanya memiliki pemahaman yang memadai mengenai era ini. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi siswa di SMK Texmaco Karawang dalam menghadapi era industri 4.0. Peningkatan kompetensi dilakukan melalui sosialisasi, penyampaian materi interaktif mengenai tuntutan kompetensi industri 4.0, dan focus group discussion (FGD). Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan pemahaman siswa secara signifikan. Sebelum kegiatan, hanya 48% (58 dari 121 responden pre-test) siswa yang memahami industri 4.0; setelah kegiatan, angka tersebut meningkat menjadi 92% (111 dari 121 responden post-test) siswa. Kegiatan ini berhasil meningkatkan pengetahuan dasar siswa SMK Texmaco Karawang mengenai industri 4.0, yang menjadi bekal awal penting untuk menghadapi tuntutan dalam dunia kerja.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the readiness of SMEs Karawang in terms of Technology, Organization, Environment (TOE) Framework and technological readiness (TRI) for benefits of industry 4.0 (BOI) in the dimension of industry 4.0 (DOI), viewed from different business scale groups; micro-businesses (group 1) and small-medium businesses (group 2), with a random sampling of 300 SMEs samples using the multigroup-SEM method. The results showed that the feasibility of the research model was quite good from the results of the structural test of the multigroup-SEM. In the micro business (group 1), managerial (TOE) and technology (TRI) MSME readiness factors influence the use of technology pillars in the industry dimension (DOI). In contrast, in small and medium business groups (group 2), the managerial (TOE) and technology (TRI) readiness of MSMEs influence the use of (DOI) and the benefits of the industrial era 4.0 (BOI).

Abstract

Over the past four months, PT KLM has experienced discrepancies between logistics delivery targets and actual performance, both through truck and train modes. This underachievement is suspected to be related to the suboptimal productivity of logistics staff due to weak leadership and an unsupportive work environment. This study aims to analyze the influence of leadership (X1) and work environment (X2) on the work productivity (Y) of logistics staff at PT KLM. A total of 60 respondents were selected using simple random sampling technique, and multiple linear regression was the methodology used. A questionnaire was utilized to collect data, and SPSS software was employed for analysis. The results indicate that partially, neither leadership nor work environment has a significant impact on productivity. However, simultaneously, both have a positive and significant impact on the productivity of logistics staff with an adjusted R square value of 10.3%. These findings highlight the importance of synergy between leadership and the work environment in enhancing productivity. In relation to these findings, strategies for improving operational performance need to focus on strengthening both aspects in an integrated manner.
