Abstract

PT. XYZ is a company engaged in manufacturing elastomer switches with a molding machine as one of the machines in the production process at the company. Based on field observations, many workers are not prioritizing work safety by disobeying work procedures in the molding machine section, in which there are work activities that have the potential to cause work accidents, including operating molding machines, dry ice molding machines, moving molds, washing chemicals molds and repairing molds. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive data analysis techniques using the Hazard and Operabilty (HAZOP) method. Based on the results of observations and interviews with employees including operators, operator leaders and the Committee for Occupational Safety and Health, that there are a total of 44 potential or occupational hazard risks and are related to every job in the molding machine section, with a description of the high risk of 41% or 18 risk, moderate risk of 52% or 23 risk, and low risk of 7% or 3 risk. From the results of the identification of the risk assessment, it shows that there are still dangerous risks for workers with a high level of 41%, which means that control and corrective actions must be taken so that the work risk will not become a work accident in every activity or work on the molding machine.  PT. XYZ merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang manufacturing elastomer switch dengan mesin molding sebagai salah satu mesin dalam proses produksi di perusahaan tersebut. Berdasarkan pengamatan di lapangan, banyak para pekerja yang kurang dalam mengutamakan keselamatan kerja dengan tidak menaati prosedur kerja di bagian mesin molding yang di dalamnya terdapat aktivitas kerja yang berpotensi menyebabkan kecelakaan kerja meliputi kegiatan pengoperasian mesin molding, dry ice mesin molding, pemindahan mold, washing chemical mold dan repairing mold. Analisa data dilakukan dengan teknik analisa data secara deskriptif dengan metode Hazard and Operabilty (HAZOP). Berdasarkan hasil observasi dan wawancara terhadap karyawan yang meliputi operator, leader operator dan Panitia Pembina Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja, bahwa terdapat jumlah potensi atau risiko bahaya kerja terdapat 44 risiko dan berkaitan pada setiap pekerjaan di bagian mesin molding, dengan uraian yaitu, risiko tinggi sebesar 41% atau 18 risiko, risiko sedang sebesar 52% atau 23 risiko, dan risiko rendah sebesar 7% atau 3 risiko. Dari hasil identifikasi penilaian risiko tersebut menunjukkan bahwa masih terdapat risiko-risiko membahayakan bagi para pekerja dengan level yang tinggi sebesar 41% yang berarti harus dilakukan tindakan pengendalian dan perbaikan agar risiko kerja tersebut tidak akan menjadi kecelakaan kerja di setiap kegiatan atau pekerjaan pada bagian mesin molding.

Abstract

Abstract— Entering the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 impacted MSMEs as economic sector builders. Industry 4.0 refers to the concept of internet of things use, as well as smart and cloud based manufacturing. The change in the industrial revolution was faced with the Making Indonesia 4.0 with one of its priorities to empower MSMEs. Constraints of MSME actors from capital, managerial skills, to the use of technology, so that it requires a readiness of MSMEs in the face of Industry 4.0. In this study, UMKM readiness refers to the e-readiness concept to determine readiness in adopting, using and utilizing information technology. The purpose of the research is the development of a model to identify the readiness of MSMEs in Kab. Karawang against industrial revolution 4.0 The research method is descriptive research to develop a research model in identifying the readiness of MSMEs in the era of industrial revolution 4.0, with a random sampling method of 100 respondents. Research results in the form of research model development with survey results stating that many young MSME actors are able to adapt and capture opportunities for current development and market demand, but not following the MSME community are of particular concern so that further approaches are needed in developing the MSME industry in Karawang Regency, so that coaching can be done.Keywords— MSMEs  readiness; Industry 4.0; e-readiness. Abstrak— Memasuki era Revolusi Industri 4.0 berdampak pada UMKM sebagai pembangun sektor ekonomi. Industri 4.0 mengacu pada konsep penggunaan internet of things, serta smart and cloud based manufacturing. Perubahan revolusi industri dihadapi dengan adanya Making Indonesia 4.0 dengan salah satu prioritasnya pemberdayaan UMKM.  Kendala pelaku UMKM dari permodalan, keterampilan manajerial, hingga penggunaan teknologi, sehingga diperlukan sebuah kesiapan UMKM dalam menghadapi Industri 4.0. Pada penelitian ini, Kesiapan UMKM mengacu pada konsep e-readiness untuk mengetahui kesiapan dalam mengadopsi, menggunakan dan memanfaatkan teknologi informasi. Tujuan penelitian berupa pengembangan model untuk mengidentifikasi kesiapan UMKM Kab. Karawang terhadap revolusi industri 4.0 Metode penelitian berupa penelitian deskriptif untuk mengembangkan model penelitian dalam mengidentifikasi kesiapan UMKM pada era revolusi industri 4.0, dengan metode random sampling dari 100 responden. Hasil Penelitian berupa pengembangan model penelitian dengan hasil survey yang menyatakan banyaknya pelaku UMKM berusia muda mampu beradaptasi dan menangkap peluang perkembangan masa kini dan permintaan pasar, namun tidak mengikuti komunitas UMKM menjadi perhatian khusus sehingga diperlukan upaya pendekatan lebih lanjut dalam mengembangkan industri UMKM di Kabupaten Karawang, agar dapat dilakukan pembinaan.Kata kunci— Kesiapan UMKM; Industri 4.0; e-readiness

Abstract

Production optimization must be considered in order to get the optimal amount of production, which is related to company profit. In addition, the distribution route that is not optimal will also cause production costs to expand. These two things are the main problems faced by Semprong Amoundy MSMEs that have not paid attention to optimization of production and optimization of distribution routes. The purpose of this research is to find the optimal solution of the number and type of semprong production to maximize the income of Amoundy MSMEs, and to find a solution for the shortest distribution route to minimize distribution costs of semprong products. The method used to solve this problem is Simplex Method and Travelling Salesman Problem with the Greedy Algorithm approach. The research resulted the decision that Amoundy MSMEs had to produce 18 boxes of large packaged semprong every day to generate maximum income. The distribution route that must be taken to minimize distribution costs is Amoundy House Production – Bontot Delajaya Shop – Erik Shop – Denpasar Shop – Aneka Shop – Oleh-oleh Karawang Outlet – Amoundy House Production, estimated distribution cost of Rp. 20.120,-.Optimasi produksi perlu diperhatikan agar didapatkan jumlah produksi yang optimal, yang mana hal ini akan berhubungan dengan profit perusahaan. Selain itu rute distribusi yang belum optimal juga akan menyebabkan pembengkakan biaya produksi. Kedua hal ini merupakan masalah utama yang dihadapi oleh UMKM Semprong Amoundy yang belum memperhatikan optimasi produksi dan optimasi rute distribusi. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini yaitu untuk mencari solusi optimal dari jumlah dan jenis produksi semprong untuk memaksimalkan pendapatan UMKM Amoundy, serta mencari solusi rute distribusi terpendek untuk meminimalkan biaya pendistribusian produk semprong. Metode yang digunakan untuk adalah Metode simpleks dan  Travelling Salesman Problem dengan pendekatan algoritma greedy. Penelitian menghasilkan keputusan bahwa UMKM Amoundy harus memproduksi 18 box kue semprong kemasan besar setiap hari untuk menghasilkan pendapatan maksimal. Rute distribusi yang harus ditempuh untuk meminimalkan biaya distribusi yaitu Rumah Produksi Amoundy – Toko Bontot Delajaya – Toko Erik – Toko Denpasar – Toko Aneka – Outlet Oleh-oleh Karawang – Rumah Produksi Amoundy dengan taksiran biaya distribusi sebesar Rp. 20.120,-.

Abstract— Utilization of information and communication technology (ICT) in education becomes an absolute thing to do, in order to improve the quality of education, service effectiveness and become a strength for higher education institutions. One application of aspects of ICT in college is academic web. In the Faculty of Engineering University Singaperbangsa Karawang, academic information system is known by the web SIAKAD (Academic Information System) Faculty of Engineering Unsika. Web SIAKAD FT Unsika aims to manage data and facilitate the integration associated with academic information, but on its application may occur mismatch between procedures established in the web with its implementation. Therefore, please note the behavior of SIAKAD web users, also conducted testing of the academic web interface. This is considering that the web SIAKAD FT Unsika is still in development stage. Stages in this study started from a preliminary study of the use of the web SIAKAD and continued with research on the usability of the web SIAKAD. Abstract

Competition strategy needs to be done to retain consumers. With case studies at outlets X fried chicken and Y fried chicken have problems in retaining consumers, so it is necessary to have a strategy for competition and analysis of opportunities for consumer movement. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire method and literature study. To complete the case studies at X fried chicken and Y fried chicken outlets, the Game Theory method was used to select the optimal strategy to win the competition and the Markov Chain method to analyze opportunities for consumer switching. The results of processing using the game theory method of the two players namely outlets X fried chicken and Y fried chicken have the same value, therefore both players have a pure strategy, where X fried chicken uses a strategy in terms of taste and Y fried chicken uses a strategy in terms of price. With the Markov Chain method, there was a decrease in consumer movement of X fried chicken from period 0 (current period) to period 5 (5th month period) from 89.7% to 37.3% and there was an increase in consumer movement of Y fried chicken from period 0 (current period) to period 5 (5 month period) ranging from 10.3% to 62.7%.

Abstract

TTA is a mining company with a significant role played by the Human Capital Services Officer division. Employees are faced with a heavy mental workload. Intense industry competition demands improved performance in a short time with minimal errors. This study aims to analyze the mental workload in the Human Capital Services Officer division using the Nasa-TLX method. Employees work 5 days a week for 8 hours per day, but all employees in the Human Capital Services Officer division work beyond regular hours without overtime pay or shift rotation. The study utilizes the Nasa-TLX method to analyze the mental workload in the division. Out of 17 employees surveyed, 5 experienced excessive mental workload, while 12 had an optimal workload. Factors affecting the mental workload include Mental Demand, Temporal Demand, Frustration Level, and Performance Level. This analysis provides a better understanding and information that can be used to enhance user experience and work efficiency. Abstract

Disamping manfaat tempe yang banyak bagi kesehatan para pengusaha tempe masih kesulitan dalam merencanakan produksinya terutama home industry tempe, yang memproduksi tempe dalam ukuran sekala kecil seperti home industry milik Bapak Wahyudin dan Ibu Nunik yang berlokasi di desa Telukambulu kecamatan Batujaya.Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari nilai optimal keuntungan produksi tempe Bapak Wahyudin dan Ibu Nunik, home industry Bapak Whyudin dan Ibu Nunik memproduksi tempe berukuran besar dan tempe berukuran kecil dengan keuntungan setiap kali produksi adalah Rp. 200.000, adapun metode yang digunakan yaitu model program linier metode grafik dengan software POM QM sebagai pembanding perhitungan manual. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan didapatkan keuntungan optimal untuk setiap kali produksi sebesar Rp. 360.000 dengan memproduksi tempe berukuran kecil sebanyak 600 potong. .

Abstract

Proses produksi merupakan hal penting yang dapat mempengaruhi keuntungan. Pada proses produksi juga perlu diperhatikan untuk meningkatkan keuntungan agar menjadi lebih optimal. Permasalahan optimalisasi ini yang masih menjadi kendala bagi sebagian besar usaha, salah satunya adalah Pabrik Tempe Bapak Walim yang terletak di Rengasdengklok. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan jumlah produksi tempe agar mendapatkan keuntungan yang optimal. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode grafik dan metode branch and bound. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, dilakukan secara observasi dan pengukuran secara langsung pada objek penelitian sehingga mempermudah dalam menganalisis data sesuai kondisi yang terjadi dilapangan dengan suatu ukuran tertentu. Pabrik ini memulai usaha sekitar beberapa tahun yang lalu dan hanya memproduksi tempe saja yang mempunyai dua ukuran besar dan kecil dengan modal pertamanya Rp. 5000.000,00. Tempe ukuran besar dijual seharga Rp.12.000,00 dan dalam sebulan bisa diproduksi sebanyak 600 buah tempe dan mempunyai keuntungan sebanyak Rp. 2.200.000,00/bulan. Sedangkan tempe ukuran kecil dijual seharga Rp.1.500,00 dan dalam sebulan diproduksi sebanyak 900 buah tempe dan mempunyai keuntungan Rp.1.350.000,00/bulan. Pendapatan kotor pabrik ini sebesar Rp.8.550.000,00/bulan. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah jumlah produksi optimal dari setiap jenis produk adalah 8.333 tempe ukuran besar dan 712 tempe ukuran kecil perbulan. Maka keuntungan optimal yang dihasilkan sebesar Rp. 18.332.600,00. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa pabrik tempe ini harus meningkatkan produksi tempe ukuran besar lebih banyak dibanding tempe ukuran kecil.

Abstract

Inventory management plays an important role in the company, all types of inventory need to be managed so that the efficiency of the production process can be guaranteed and produce quality products and in conditions of no defects. Therefore, the high demand that must be met according to consumer wishes and goods that do not meet the needs makes companies have to control the inventory of production raw materials so that there is no excess or shortage of stock. Thus, the purpose of this study is to help control excess inventory and reduce costs as low as possible. The method used in this study is Just in Time (JIT). Therefore, this study resulted in a difference in the estimated cost of storing raw materials every month before using JIT of Rp. 15,269,335 while the estimated cost of storing raw materials per month after using the Just in Time system was Rp. 7,634,667 so as to reduce the estimated cost of storing raw materials by Rp. 7,634,667. Therefore, the use of Just in Time can increase productivity by controlling the inventory.
