Abstract

The Joper chicken in Karanganyar Regency, Central Java, becomes an alternative to replace ordinary village chickens because it has the same quality but a shorter harvesting period, but it  has uncertain fluctuations every year. This Fact is interesting to find out the feasibility of Joper chickens. We aims to analyse the feasibility of joper chicken and to identify the Break Even Point (BEP) of Joper chicken in Karanganyar Regency. We uses snowball sampling technique with a total of 60 farmers in four districts, including Jumantono, Karangpandan, Ngargoyoso, and Mojogedang. We uses primary and secondary data. A feasibility analysis was carried out namely NPV, IRR, Net B/C Ratio, Payback Period, and BEP. The results show that at an interest rate of 6% and an economic life of 10 years, Joper chicken farming in Karanganyar Regency is feasible to be cultivated because the NPV is Rp 67,418,062, the IRR is 13% > discount rate 6%, the Net B/C Ratio is 1.49 with criteria > 1 then it feasible to run, the Payback Period is 3 years which is smaller then the project age of 10 years and the BEP is 747 Kg/Year and Rp 26,821,397 per year.

Abstract

Indonesia memiliki potensi yang cukup besar pada sektor pertanian, terutama subsektor hortikultura. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor- faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap keuntungan usahatani semangka di Kota Batam. Metode dasar penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Lokasi penelitian yaitu Kecamatan Galang, Kota Batam yang dipilih secara purposive. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah (1) Biaya usahatani; (2) Penerimaan; (3) Analisis keuntungan; (4) Analisis pengaruh faktor-faktor untuk mengetahui faktor- faktor yang memengaruhi keuntungan usahatani semangka di Kota Batam; (5) Uji asumsi klasik; (6) Pengujian Model. Hasil perhitungan dan analisis data penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata rata biaya mengusahakan usahatani semangka sebesar Rp 87.929.887,3/MT/Ha, rata-rata penerimaannya adalah Rp 191.729.323,3/MT/Ha dan rata-rata nilai keuntungan sebesar Rp 103.725.288,7/MT/Ha. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa sebesar 65,9% keuntungan usahatani semangka dapat dijelaskan oleh variabel bebas dan sisanya sebesar 34,1% dijelaskan oleh variabel lain yang tidak diamati dalam penelitian ini. Uji F menunjukkan bahwa variabel-variabel bebas yang diamati yaitu umur petani, luas lahan, tingkat pendidikan, biaya benih dan biaya pupuk secara bersama-sama berpengaruh nyata terhadap keuntungan usahatani semangka. Uji t menunjukkan bahwa luas lahan, biaya benih dan biaya pupuk berpengaruh nyata, sedangkan umur petani dan tingkat Pendidikan secara individu tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap keuntungan usahatani semangka di Kota Batam.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of consumer satisfaction with rice attributes and consumer preferences in rice purchase decisions in the city of Surabaya. The location of the study was taken based on the highest rice consumption in East Java Province, namely the city of Surabaya. Sampling was done using the non-probability sampling method. The sampling technique uses an accidental convenience sampling technique based on the spontaneity factor. Data were collected from respondents based on surveys and in-depth interviews using questionnaires. The data analysis method uses Important Performance Analysis (IPA) and Customers Satisfaction Index (CSI). The results of the study showed an Important Performance Analysis (IPA) on each rice attribute. The durability attribute occupies the first position when viewed from the average level of importance and performance, both of which are the highest positions, namely with a value of 4.55 and 4.31. Physical traits occupy the second position from the average level of importance but the performance is still lacking with a value of 4.48. Kepulenan occupies the second position from the average performance level with a score of 4.11, but the level of importance is still lacking. Meanwhile, advertising is in the lowest position when viewed from the average level of importance and performance, both in the lowest position, namely with values of 2.46 and 2.96. Based on the results of the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) analysis, it shows that overall consumers are satisfied with rice products with a satisfaction rate of 76.23%.

Abstract

Oil palm is a strategic commodity that plays an important role in the Indonesian economy. This study aims to formulate a strategy for developing oil palm independent smallholder-based agribusiness in Ogan Komering Ilir District, South Sumatra. The research was conducted in Ogan Komering Ilir Regency, conducted in August 2024. The research was conducted using key informants. Data collection methods were carried out by means of observation, interviews, documentation and literature studies. The data analysis method uses SWOT Analysis and Analytical Network Process (ANP). Research results that infrastructure development, utilization of human resource quality, and improvement of management capacity are the main priorities in supporting the sustainability and competitiveness of independent smallholders. The results of this study provide strategic recommendations for stakeholders in optimizing the potential of oil palm agribusiness in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

The Green Lawu Forest Farmers Group (KTH) is located in Berjo Village, Ngargoyoso District, Karanganyar Regency. KTH Green Lawu is a group whose members live in the area around the Mangkunagoro I Karanganyar Grand Forest Park. This group cultivates and sells orchids to improve the economy of its members. However, the activities of KTH Green Lawu still face various obstacles in its development, including the low knowledge of members regarding financial management, and not yet having the capacity to expand the market. The community service activity carried out by the RG Natural Resources Economics UNS, namely "Training to Improve Financial Literacy and Digitalization of Marketing in the Green Lawu Forest Farmers Group (KTH) Karanganyar Regency", is expected to be able to overcome these problems. This activity was carried out on June 8, 2024, where previously the community service team had carried out initial coordination with partners and technical preparation for the service. The materials provided in this activity were financial bookkeeping and online marketing. The community service activities that have been carried out are expected to be able to increase the capacity of KTH Green Lawu members regarding financial administration and online marketing so that in the future KTH Green Lawu can become more advanced.

Abstract

Manusia cenderung lalai bahwa mereka berkontribusi sebagai penghasil limbah dari apa yang dikonsumsi sehari-hari. Konsumen yang tahu dan peduli terhadap konsekuensi pada lingkungan akan memilih bahan ramah lingkungan serta lebih bijak dalam berperilaku konsumsi. Pendidikan merupakan faktor yang sangat signifikan dalam mempengaruhi perilaku konsumsi berwawasan lingkungan atau yang disebut “Green Consumption”. Sekolah Adiwiyata menerapkan Gerakan Peduli dan Berbudaya Lingkungan Hidup di Sekolah (PBLHS) yang mencakup pembelajaran terkait konservasi air, konservasi energi, kebersihan dan pengelolaan sampah. Sekolah Adiwiyata diharapkan menjadi stimulus yang tepat dalam menumbuhkan perilaku “Green Consumption” pada warga sekolah. Penelitian bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektifitas Sekolah Adiwiyata terhadap perilaku “Green Consumption” warga sekolah SMP Negeri 1 Wajak sebagai sekolah Adiwiyata Mandiri. Selain itu, mengidentifikasi kegiatan yang dilakukan sekolah untuk menumbuhkan perilaku “Green Consumption”. Pengambilan datapenelitian menggunakan purposive sampling dengan melibatkan 10% dari keseluruhan siswa, guru serta tenaga pendidik sebagai responden. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan efektifitas dilihat dari Tingkat Capaian Responden (TCR). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa efektifitas sekolah adiwiyata dalam menumbuhkan perilaku “Green Consumption” berada dalam kriteria cukup efektif dengan tingkat capaian 77,82%. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran dan pembiasaan kegiatan di sekolah berpengaruh terhadap perilaku konsumsi warga sekolah sehari-hari. Warga sekolah terbiasa dengan kantin sehat sehingga lebih memperhatikan kesehatan dan kebersihan makanan saat di rumah atau di luar sekolah. Warga sekolah sadar akan pentingnya menghemat energi seperti listrik dan air serta paham dengan dampak pada lingkungan. Pengelolaan sampah organik dengan biopori dan pengomposan sedangkan sampah anorganik relatif sedikit karena sekolah bebas sampah plastik. Pembagian Pokja melibatkan siswa menjadi aktif dan disiplin dalam pelestarian lingkungan sekolah. Pembiasaan di sekolah diharapkan terbawa sampai lingkungan rumah dengan sosialisasi rutin pada wali murid setiap rapat. Temuan ini kemudian diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan bagi sekolah non adiwiyata dan instansi terkait guna optimalisasi program Adiwiyata.

Abstract

The Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are the largest group of economic actors in Indonesia. Processed products based on sweet potatoes are a typical food of Ngargoyoso District. Marketing is a process that MSMEs as producers must go through to distribute products into the hands of consumers. Ngargoyoso District has good quality processed sweet potato products. MSMEs have demonstrated the ability to maintain the national economy during times of crisis and encourage economic growth after the crisis. The research aims to determine existing marketing channels and obstacles and efficient and effective marketing channels for MSMEs for processed sweet potato products in Ngargoyoso District, Karanganyar Regency. The data used are primary and secondary. The analysis method uses the Shepherd, Acharya, and Aggarwal methods and the marketing efficiency index methods. The analysis results show that there are three marketing channels, namely online, offline, or both. Non-digital and digital access are the most common obstacles MSMEs encounter for processed sweet potato products. The results from the three research data analysis methods used are greater than 1%, so it can be said that MSME’s marketing channels are efficient. It was found that the most efficient marketing channel was using offline marketing, producing the highest level of efficiency using the Shepherd method at 4.1%, the Marketing Efficiency Index method at 4.6%, and the same level of efficiency for the three marketing channels using the Acharya and Aggarwal method at 1%.
