Abstract

Kacang bambara adalah jenis tanaman kacang-kacangan dan tergolong tanaman legum (berbuah polong). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan jenis pupuk hijau berbahan dasar gulma Imperata cylindrica, Vitis aestivalis Var. Bicolor, Calystegia sepium L terhadap komponen hasil kacang bambara (Vigna subterranea (L)). Verdcourt. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada pertengahan bulan Desember 2020- pertengahan Juni 2021. Percobaan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok. Penelitian menggunakan Single Faktor. Dosis pemberian pupuk Organik single taraf 5 ton/ha yaitu P₀ (tanpa perlakuan pupuk organik), P₁ (perlakuan pupuk hijau berbahan dasar gulma Imperata Cylindrica), P₂ (perlakuan pupuk hijau berbahan dasar gulma Vitis aestivalis var. Bicolor), P₃ (perlakuan pupuk hijau berbahan dasar gulma Calystegia sepium L). Menggunakan Galur Gresik. Analisis penggujian menggunakan Uji Beda Nyata Terkecil (BNT) 0,05 dan Uji Korelasi. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan adalah bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang nyata pada variabel pengamatan meliputi, yakni tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, luas daun, berbunga pertama, berbunga 50%, jumlah polong per tanaman, bobot basah polong per tanaman, bobot kering polong per tanaman, bobot kering biji per tanaman, % kupasan, bobot 100 biji, jumlah biji per tanaman per m2, bobot basah polong per m2, bobot kering polong per m2, bobot kering brangkasan. P₂ yang merupakan perlakuan pupuk hijau berbahan dasar gulma Vitis aestivalis Var. Bicolor adaah perlakuan yang memberikan hasil terbaik pada setiap variabel yang diamati.

Abstract

Identification of plants is a process of identifying plants to find out the types of plants in detail and complete and scientifically justifiable. The purpose of this study was to determine the differences in characterization of 8 sugarcane clones and sugarcane clones that had good growth. The research was carried out at the Muhammadiyah Gresik Hollywood University Experimental Garden, Klangonan Village, Gresik at an altitude of 56 meters above sea level (masl). The time for conducting the research was from April to July 2022. This study used a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with one factor, namely 8 types of clones including: Clones SB27,SB28,SB30,SB31,SB32,SB33, SB34, SB Green,SB200. Each treatment plot clone was repeated 3 times so that there were 27 trial plots. Data analysis used ANOVA with a 5% F test. If there is a significant difference, proceed with 5% DMRT analysis, correlation test, heritability. Morphological data was processed by analyzing plant descriptions. The high category of heritability and genetic progress was seen in the stem height (20.55%), cane weight (41.45%), and the brix value was moderately high (5.92%).

Abstract

Sweet corn is the second source of carbohydrates after rice. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Defoliation technique and variations in NPK 16:16:16 doses so as to increase the growth and yield of sweet corn plants. The research was conducted at the Hollywood Experimental Field, Klangonan Village. The time for conducting the research was from August to October 2022. The tools needed during the research included: sickle, machete, hoe, tape measure, ruler, raffia rope, bucket, cellphone, brix and stationery. While the materials needed include: sweet corn seeds, NPK 16:16:16 fertilizer. Two-factor Randomized Block Design (RBD), namely the defoliation technique on sweet corn plants and the application of Pearl NPK fertilizer. The first factor is the defoliation technique (D) and the second factor is Pearl NPK fertilization (P) resulting in 3 levels. Each treatment was repeated 3 times to get 27 experimental units. If the results are significantly different (F Count > F table) then the analysis is continued by using the BNT test at the 5% level. From the results of the study there were significant differences in the application of the defoliation technique and the application of NPK 16:16:16 fertilizer to sweet corn.

Abstract

It is undeniable that cases of bullying and pornography in teenagers are increasingly common as information technology develops. The two cases above are quite worrying for parents and teachers and even more dangerous for the future of the children themselves. On the other hand, adolescence is a subculture in adult life. At this time, potential begins to appear, both physical potential and potential nature. Good assistance in this phase will have a positive impact on the development of the next phase. The purpose of this study is to analyze the extent to which the mentoring program that has been implemented accommodates the need for adolescent talent development. This research uses a qualitative field method used to describe the Islamic mentoring program as a result of information obtained directly from informants, observations, and document studies. The mentoring program at SBM Bogor is a method of teaching and learning activities based on Islamic guidance. So that all learning activities that are followed such as finance, business mentality, business mindset, English, Islamika, literacy, Arabic, and video graphics use Islamic mentoring methods. The mentoring program targets the growth of students in developing their business talents. The mentoring program at SMM Semarang is able to deliver students to understand Islamic material easily. However, the mentoring program is not enough to facilitate students' talent development. Nevertheless, it has answered the need for students' worship, adab, ethics, and moral problems. Abstrak Tidak bisa dipungkiri bahwa kasus perundungan dan pornografi pada remaja semakin sering di dengar seiring berkembangnya teknologi informasi. Dua kasus tersebut cukup mengkhawatirkan orang tua dan guru dan lebih lagi adalah bahaya bagi masa depan anak itu sendiri. Di sisi lain, remaja adalah subkultural dalam kehidupan manusia dewasa. Pada masa ini, potensi mulai terlihat, baik potensi fisik maupun potensi sifat. Pendampingan yang baik pada fase ini akan berdampak positif pada perkembangan fase selanjutnya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis sejauh mana program mentoring yang telah dilaksanakan mengakomodasi kebutuhan akan pengembangan bakat remaja. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif lapangan yang digunakan untuk mendeskripsikan program mentoring islami hasil informasi yang diperoleh langsung dari narasumber (informan), hasil pengamatan (observasi), dan studi dokumen. Program mentoring di SBM Bogor merupakan metode kegiatan belajar mengajar berdasar tuntunan Islam. Sehingga semua kegiatan belajar yang diikuti seperti keuangan, mental bisnis, mindset bisnis, english, islamika, literasi, bahasa arab, dan video grafi itu menggunakan metode mentoring islami. Program mentoring menargetkan tumbuhnya siswa dalam mengembangkan bakat bisnisnya. Program mentoring di SMM Semarang mampu mengantarkan siswa memahami materi keislaman dengan mudah. Namun program mentoring belum cukup memfasilitasi pengembangan bakat siswa. Meskipun demikian, sudah menjawab kebutuhan akan permasalahan ibadah, adab, etika, dan moral siswa.

Abstract

The production of superior sugarcane varieties can be achieved through crossbreeding between superior parent plants based on the desired advantages. Research examined the diversity of superior clones of SB04, SB11, SB19, and SB20 and identified the clones with the highest productivity potential. The first ratoon research was carried out from August 2020 to July 2021. Data analysis used descriptive-analytic methods, regression tests, and genetic diversity assessment. The observation was made on agronomic variables and potential productivity. Based on the result, the genetic diversity of the superior clone SB04 showed close similarity to the heterozygous combination PS862. The superior clone SB11 showed a tendency to inherit traits similar to Cenning. The superior clones SB19 and SB20 lean towards the VMC71-238 variety and the combination of PSBM01 and VMC71-238. The superior clones SB04, SB11, SB19, and SB20 produced higher weight, yield, and sugarcane crystal content compared to the characteristics of their two parents. Clones SB04, SB11, SB19, and SB20 produced high crystal content, ranging from 8.47 to 15.26 tons/ha, higher than their parent plants. SB19 had the highest yield, namely 15.26 tons/ha. Although some clones dominate crystal production, other clones inherit traits from both parents but are less dominant in overall productivity.

Abstract

This study investigates the effectiveness of machine learning techniques, specifically penalized regression models Ridge Regression, Lasso Regression, and Elastic Net Regression in predicting methanol space-time yield (STY) from CO2 hydrogenation data. Using a dataset derived from Cu-based catalyst research, the study implemented a comprehensive preprocessing approach, including data cleaning, imputation, outlier removal, and normalization. The models were rigorously evaluated through 10-fold cross-validation and tested on unseen data. Ridge Regression outperformed the other models, achieving the lowest Root Mean Squared Error (RMSE) of 0.7706, Mean Absolute Error (MAE) of 0.5627, and Mean Squared Error (MSE) of 0.5938. In comparison, Lasso and Elastic Net Regression models exhibited higher error metrics. Feature importance analysis revealed that Gas Hourly Space Velocity (GHSV) and Molar Masses of Support significantly influence catalytic activity. These findings suggest that Ridge Regression is a promising tool for accurately predicting methanol production, providing valuable insights for optimizing catalytic processes and advancing sustainable practices in chemical engineering.

Abstract

Every teenager has different talents. The difference does not always lie in the type, but also in the degree or level of possession of a particular talent. Unfortunately, teenagers' talents are not always displayed in real achievements due to various reasons. Among them are due to environmental factors such as the absence of opportunities, infrastructure, support from parents, teachers, family economic level, and location of residence. The purpose of the research is to analyze the development of adolescent talent through the Islamic mentoring program. To be able to develop talent well, a teenager needs the right environment, family support, reliable mentors, and a program that can accommodate his needs. This research uses a library research approach. Data sources come from field surveys, books and various research journals on Islamic education and talent development from the works of scholars, education experts, and mentors. Talent development is an important and main agenda in the adolescent phase. Talent development of adolescents requires support from various parties. The world of education supports talent development programs as seen from the survey results as many as 69.6% of schools already have talent development programs. Of the schools that already have a talent development program, 78.9% have not implemented the talent development program optimally. There is no Islamic mentoring program that has a portion of talent development for adolescents in its program content. Abstrak Setiap remaja mempunyai bakat yang berbeda-beda. Perbedaan tidak selalu terletak pada jenis, tetapi juga pada derajat atau tingkat pemilikan bakat tertentu. Sayang sekali bahwa bakat remaja tidak selalu tertampil dalam prestasi yang nyata karena berbagai macam sebab. Diantaranya karena faktor lingkungan seperti ketiadaan kesempatan, sarana prasarana, dukungan orangtua, guru, taraf ekonomi keluarga, juga lokasi tinggal. Tujuan penelitian adalah menganalisa pengembangan bakat remaja melalui program mentoring islami. Untuk dapat mengembangkan bakat dengan baik, seorang remaja membutuhkan lingkungan yang tepat, dukungan keluarga, mentor handal, dan program yang mampu mewadahi kebutuhanya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kepustakaan (library research). Sumber data yang berasal dari survey lapang, buku-buku dan berbagai jurnal penelitian tentang pendidikan islami dan pengembangan bakat dari karya para ulama, ahli pendidikan, dan mentor. Pengembangan bakat menjadi agenda penting dan utama pada fase remaja. Pengembangan bakat remaja membutuhkan dukungan dari berbagai pihak. Dunia pendidikan mendukung program pengembangan bakat yang terlihat dari hasil survey sebanyak 69,6 % sekolah sudah memiliki program pengembangan bakat. Dari sekolah yang sudah memiliki program pengembangan bakat tersebut sebanyak sebanyak 78,9 % belum melaksanakan program pengembangan bakat secara optimal. Belum ada program mentoring islami yang memiliki porsi pengembangan bakat bagi remaja dalam konten programnya.

Abstract

Investigating potential corrosion inhibitors via empirical research is a labor- and resource-intensive process. In this work, we evaluated various linear and non-linear algorithms as predictive models for corrosion inhibition efficiency (CIE) values using a machine learning (ML) paradigm based on the quantitative structure-property relationship (QSPR) model. In the quinoxaline compound dataset, our analysis showed that the XGBoost model performed the best predictor of other ensemble-based models. The coefficient of determination (R2), mean absolute percentage error (MAPE), and root mean squared error (RMSE) metrics were used to objectively assess this superiority. To sum up, our study offers a fresh viewpoint on the effectiveness of machine learning algorithms in determining the ability of organic compounds like quinoxaline to suppress corrosion on iron surfaces.

Abstract

Phishing attacks continue to be a significant threat to internet users, necessitating the development of advanced detection systems. This study explores the efficacy of a Bidirectional Gated Recurrent Unit (BiGRU) model combined with feature selection techniques for detecting phishing websites. The dataset used for this research is sourced from the UCI Machine Learning Repository, specifically the Phishing Websites dataset. This approach involves cleaning and preprocessing the data, then normalizing features and employing feature selection to identify the most relevant attributes for classification. The BiGRU model, known for its ability to capture temporal dependencies in data, is then applied. To ensure robust evaluation, we utilized cross-validation, dividing the data into five folds. The experimental results are highly promising, demonstrating a Mean Accuracy, Mean Precision, Mean Recall, Mean F1 Score, and Mean AUC of 1.0. These results indicate the model's exceptional performance distinguishing between phishing and legitimate websites. This study highlights the potential of combining BiGRU models with feature selection and cross-validation to create highly accurate phishing detection systems, providing a reliable solution to enhance cybersecurity measures.

Abstract

Sugarcane (Saccharum officinarum L.) is a type of plantation crop that has high economic value as the main ingredient for sugar production. Indonesia's sugar demand increases every year, but it is not accompanied by an increase in sugar production. Problems that cause low sugar production include seed quality, fertilizer availability, water availability, slash-and-carry management, and inadequate soil conditions. Increasing sugarcane productivity and production is related to the level of yield production. The availability of new superior varieties (VUB) is one way that can be done to produce high sugar production. The continuous use of excessive inorganic fertilizers can cause problems in agriculture. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of inorganic liquid fertilizer on the growth of seven sugarcane clones (Saccharum officinarum L.) in Sidoarjo Regency, Indonesia. This research was conducted in the Sugarcane Research and Development Center (P3T) garden and in collaboration with PG Krembung PT Perkebunan Nusantara X (PTPN X) in October-January 2021. This study used a one-factor Randomized Group Design (RAK) with 9 treatments and 3 replications. Parameters observed in this study were stem diameter, stem length, and number of stems. The results showed that the growth of the K4 sugarcane clone (SB 11 clone) was higher than the K5 (PS 881 clone). Petrovita fertilizer application resulted in more optimal growth in sugarcane clone.
