Abstract

Permintaan gula yang terus meningkat tidak diimbangi dengan peningkatan produktivitas gula karena faktor iklim, terbatasnya ketersediaan varietas unggul baru dan serangan hama pada tebu. Salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan produktivitas tebu dan tahan terhadap serangan hama adalah dengan menyediakan bahan tanam (bibit) yang berkualitas melalui pemuliaan buatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keragaman pertumbuhan dan ketahanan terhadap serangan hama penyakit kebakaran pada beberapa klon tebu unggul di media polybag. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Kebun Percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Muhammadiyah Gresik di Desa Klangonan, Kecamatan Kebomas, Kabupaten Gresik. Penelitian dimulai pada bulan Maret 2023 dan berlangsung hingga 16 Agustus 2023. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) faktor tunggal dengan 11 klon tebu. Setiap perlakuan diulang tiga kali. Tiga sampel dibuat untuk setiap perlakuan. Variabel yang diamati adalah kualitatif (karakteristik morfologi batang, daun dan mata tunas) dan kuantitatif (tinggi batang, jumlah daun, jumlah anakan, intensitas serangan penyakit dan gejala serangan). Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif, Anova, uji BNT pada taraf 5%, uji korelasi, uji heritabilitas dan nilai keragaman genetik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang nyata pada variabel tinggi batang, jumlah daun dan jumlah anakan. Tingkat serangan penyakit luka api belum muncul pada 11 klon, namun sudah menunjukkan gejala serangan. Nilai heritabilitas dan keragaman genetik dalam kategori tinggi tercatat untuk sifat tinggi batang (10,4%), jumlah anakan (78, 53%) dan dalam kategori agak rendah untuk sifat jumlah daun (3,37%).

Abstract

Tanaman bawang merah termasuk jenis umbi-umbian yang dimanfaatkan sebagai bahan dapur dan obat-obatan. Upaya dalam mengatasi permasalahan pemupukan adalah penggunaan pupuk yang sesuai standarisasi dalam budidaya tanaman bawang merah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hasil terbaik antara ecoenzym dan phoska terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman bawang merah. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan juni-agustus 2024 di desa Mantup, lamongan. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan dua faktor. faktor pertama (E) adalah pupuk ecoenzym yang terdiri dari 3 taraf, yaitu E1= 5 ml/plot, E2= 10 ml/plot, E3= 15 ml/plot. Faktor kedua (P) adalah pupuk phonska yang terdiri dari 4 taraf, yaitu P0= 16 gram/plot, P1= 100 kg/ha, P2= 200 kg/ha, P3= 300 kg/ha masing-masing di ulang 3 kali, sehingga di peroleh 36 unit percobaan. Variabel pengamatan meliputi variabel pertumbuhan terdiri dari tinggi tanaman (cm), jumlah daun (helai) dan variabel hasil terdiri dari bobot basah per rumpu, bobot basah per petak, bobot kering per rumpun, bobot kering per petak, diameter umbi, estimasi bobot basah per hektar dan estimasi bobot kering per hektar. Analisis data mengunakan analisis sidik ragam 5%, jika terdapat perbedaan nyata dilakuan uji lanjut DMRT 5% dan uji korelasi. Hasil analisis sidik ragam variabel tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, dan berat basah per petak menunjukan adanya interaksi nyata antara pemberian dosis pupuk ecoenzym dan NPK phonska dimana kombinasi terbaik pada perlakuaan E3P3 (15 ml/petak dan 300 kg/ha). Perlakuan tunggal pupuk ecoenzym menunjukan adanya perbedaan nyata pada variabel jumlah daun, bobot basah per rumpun, diameter umbi, estimasi bobot basah per hektar dan estimasi bobot kering per hektar perlakuan terbaik yaitu E2 (10 ml/petak). Perlakuan tunggal pupuk NPK phonska menunjukan adanya perbedaan sangat nyata pada variabel tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, bobot basah per rumpun, bobot basah per petak, bobot kering per rumpun, bobot kerinng aper petak, diameter umbi, estimasi bobot basah per hektar, estimasi bobot kering per hektar perlakuan terbaik P3 (300 kg/ha).

Abstract

A Batik is a work of art that has a teaching value in the form of advice. The aim of this study was to determine the aesthetic value of visualizing Jula-Juli batik as a guide in society. The research method used to collect and present the data is descriptively qualitative. The aesthetic value assessment approach uses the elegant design theory of Luca Iandoli and Giuseppe Zello. Data were collected using observation, interviews and documentation of Jula-Juli Batik as a medium for preserving local wisdom in the form of advice with novelty value.Keyword: batik, aesthetic value,  Jombang, local wisdom, motifs

Abstract

The decline in sugarcane productivity and the imbalance between sugar production and national consumption are largely attributed to the genetic degradation of long-cultivated commercial varieties and suboptimal ratoon management. This study evaluates the agronomic performance and sugar yield potential of seven promising sugarcane (Saccharum officinarum L.) clones in their second ratoon cycle. The research was conducted at the Sugarcane Research and Development Center (P3T) in collaboration with PG Krembung, PT Perkebunan Nusantara X (PTPN X), in Watesari Village, Sidoarjo, Indonesia. A randomized complete block design (RCBD) with one factor and nine treatments was employed. Statistical analysis comprised ANOVA at a 5% significance level, Least Significant Difference (LSD) test, genetic diversity analysis, and heritability estimation. The results revealed significant differences among the clones in stalk diameter, brix, stalk weight, yield, and sugar content. The JW01 UMG NX clone exhibited the highest stalk diameter (33.31 mm) and sugar recovery (11.64%), while the SB19 UMG NX clone demonstrated the highest stalk weight (165.28 tons/ha), brix (23.78 °Bx), and yield (18.79 tons/ha). Genetic diversity was low across all measured traits, but heritability values were high, suggesting a strong genetic influence. These findings indicate that JW01 UMG NX and SB19 UMG NX are highly productive and hold strong potential as candidates for new superior varieties (VUB) to support national sugar self-sufficiency.

Abstract

Abstrak Board game memiliki banyak manfaat di dalam perkembangannya, hal ini akan dapat memberikan pengaruh positif dan negative terhadap para penggunanya. Tetapi, di sini kita akan berfokus pada dampak positif yang dimiliki oleh board game. Pengabdian masyarakat kali ini akan membahas mengenai bagaimana pengaruh board game terhadap dampak psikologi seseorang. Jika seseorang memainkan board game apakah akan mendapatkan benefit dan perubahan di dalam dirinya dan berdampak terhadap lingkungannya? Kita akan melakukan pembahasan dan penyuluhan di dalam pengabdian ini. Hal ini tentunya masih membutuhkan pembahasan yang lebih mendalam karena board game bersifat sangat luas dan dapat memberikan pengaruh yang cukup besar terhadap hal-hal lainnya. Hasil dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah para pengguna, pemain, staff dan lainnya yang sejatinya menyukai board game akan mendapat manfaat yang sebesar-besarnya, sehingga board game tidak lagi dijadikan sebagai permainan biasa, tetapi sudah menjadi permainan yang dapat digunakan sebagai pengembangan diri dan dapat memberikan dampak positif terhadap masyarakat dan diri sendiri.Kata kunci: pemberdayaan, Board game, permainan, implementasi, pengaruh, dampak

Abstract

Attendance recording for students at Pondok Pesantren Mahasiswa (PPM) Al-Hikmah Semarang is still conducted manually, making it prone to recording errors and time-consuming when compiling attendance data. This study aims to develop a QR Code-based attendance system to improve the efficiency and accuracy of attendance recording. The method used involves designing and developing a web-based system using the Laravel framework and the Agile methodology. The system is designed to be used by both students and class supervisors during learning activities at the dormitory. The research results show that the system can automate student attendance through QR Code scanning, store data in a structured manner, and provide accurate attendance reports that are easily accessible to the dormitory administrators. Additionally, features such as schedule management, student data management, and attendance reporting based on specific criteria have been implemented to support more effective administration. The system is also equipped with a feature to print attendance recap reports. With the implementation of this system, student attendance management becomes more efficient, transparent, and less prone to errors compared to the previously used manual method.

Abstract

Incident management is one of the critical processes in Information Technology service management that aims to manage disruptions and minimize the impact of unexpected incidents on business services. This study applies the K-Means algorithm to cluster IT service incidents, aiming to enhance company operational efficiency. Utilizing a dataset from the UCI Machine Learning Repository comprising 141,712 events related to 24,918 incidents, this research analyzes incident patterns and characteristics for optimized handling. The data was analyzed through a series of preprocessing stages, and the elbow and silhouette methods were used to determine the optimal number of clusters. From the results, it was successfully grouped into 4 (four) clusters with a distortion score value of 964264294.569 and 0.52 silhouette score based on incident characteristics, such as urgency, priority, and number of reassignments. From this, the clustering results show that the K-Means algorithm effectively identifies incidents that require further handling, such as those with high urgency and priority, as well as helping the company focus resources to resolve incidents that have the most impact on the business sector. This research provides a data-driven solution to improve incident management and Service Level Agreement (SLA) fulfillment, while offering a framework for more effective and efficient IT incident analysis and resource allocation.

Abstract

Sugar production in Indonesia has declined in recent years, primarily due to climate change, extreme weather conditions, and the limited availability of high-yielding varieties. This study aimed to evaluate the productivity and genetic variation of seven elite sugarcane clones and two commercial varieties cultivated under dryland grumusol soil conditions. The research was conducted at PT Perkebunan Nusantara X, Sidoarjo, Indonesia, using a randomized block design (RBD) with nine treatments and three replications. Agronomic and yield-related parameters such as plant height, number of stalks, internodes, stalk weight, Brix value, sugar content, and crystal yield were measured. Data were analyzed using ANOVA followed by a 5% LSD test, and correlation analysis was conducted to assess inter-variable relationships. Results showed significant differences among clones in all measured traits. JW01 UMG NX exhibited the highest Brix value (24%), stem weight (106.4 tons/ha), and crystal yield (9.66 tons/ha), while SB20 UMG NX recorded the highest sugar content (9.46%). Positive correlations were observed between stalk weight and Crystal yield, while Brix values were negatively correlated with plant height. These findings indicate that the selected clones possess valuable agronomic traits and adaptability to dryland grumusol soil, making them strong candidates for future variety development

Abstract

Girilayu Batik as one of the leading creative industries in Karanganyar Regency has currently experienced quite rapid progress. Several studies and community service activities in an effort to increase product capacity and quality have been carried out, but along with the increasingly tight competition in the fashion market, product diversification is still needed to be adjusted to the functions and trends that are currently developing. The motifs and functions of batik products in Girilayu are considered to need development in order to reach the market from a different side. This community service activity is an effort to open up wider batik market opportunities. The purpose of this activity is so that creative batik industry players in the Giriarum Batik Group, Girilayu Village, are able to create batik motifs for fashion and home décor which are currently starting to be popular. The method used to achieve this goal is in the form of training and mentoring in exploring creative ideas and creating batik motifs that are in accordance with the tastes of potential consumers. Training and mentoring for batik product diversification which will be carried out supported by the technical skills already possessed by batik craftsmen in the Giriarum Batik Group will be able to create products that are in demand by consumers. Fashion products other than clothes and fabrics as well as home décor products will differentiate batik competitors, so that market opportunities are wide open.

Abstract

Painting is often a medium to express deep meaning including emotional feelings. Basuki Abdullah is an Indonesian painting maestro who is known for his realist style and often presents human portraits with emotional expressions. One of his works, the painting “Mother and Child” created in 1992, features a mother holding her child which gives an emotional impression such as the feelings of love and struggle of a mother towards her child to provide protection and great sacrifice to the child. So this work seems to be a general embodiment of a mother's boundless love. This research aims to identify and analyze the meaning of parental love expressed in the painting “Mother and Child” by Basuki Abdullah, as well as explore the visual elements and aesthetic responses generated from the painting. The approach method used is qualitative-descriptive by collecting data through observation, literature study, and visual analysis as data collection techniques. The results show that through the use of color, gesture, and composition, Basuki Abdullah presents a deep emotional message, making this work a symbol of eternal love between parents and children.
