Abstract

The problems that occur in determining the best students based on the learning process of the assessment process are still based on the academic scores of students and have not considered the learning process carried out by students. This study aims to apply the Combined Compromise Solution (CoCoSo) method in ranking students based on learning assessment using criteria of academic progress, problem-solving ability, mastery of skills, independence, motivation and positive attitude, adaptability, and for weighting the criteria used to apply the Simplified PIPRECIA (Pivot Pairwise Relative Criteria Importance Assessment) weighting method. The Simplified PIPRECIA method is particularly useful in situations where there are diverse criteria to be considered and complex decisions must be made taking into account the preferences and interests of various stakeholders. The Combined Compromise Solution Method is useful when there are conflicts in various criteria that need to be considered in the decision-making process. With this approach, each criterion is weighted and carefully calculated, so that the resulting decisions reflect comprehensive considerations that can meet various requirements and constraints. Based on the results of student rankings based on assessments in learning in the table above, rank 1 was obtained by students with Student ID 1211313 with a final grade of 6.487, rank 2 was obtained by students with Student ID 1211316 with a final grade of 6.402, and rank 3 was obtained by students with Student ID 1211314 with a final grade of 5.814.

Abstract

Platforms in e-commerce are digital systems that allow online transactions to buy and sell products or services. E-commerce platforms also provide benefits for business actors because they are able to reach a wider market without geographical restrictions, while offering efficiency in business operations. The main problem in choosing a platform for e-commerce is often related to the sheer number of options available and the variety of criteria that must be considered. Criteria such as fees, platform popularity, transaction security, ease of use, features provided, as well as customer service support are important factors in determining the most suitable platform. The implementation of a decision support system to help select the optimal e-commerce platform by applying the OWH-TOPSIS method shows that this system can provide accurate and effective recommendations, so that it can be used as a reference for users in determining the e-commerce platform that suits their needs. The decision support system using the OWH-TOPSIS method provides an efficient and objective solution in the selection of e-commerce platforms. The results of the ranking of the best e-commerce platforms show that Platform D occupies the top position with the highest score value, which is 0.882. In second place is Platform E which obtained a score of 0.8599, followed by Platform A with a score of 0.8341.

Abstract

Choosing the right business partner is a crucial factor in the success and continuity of a company's operations. The main issue in selecting business partners is the complexity of balancing various interconnected and often conflicting factors. Another problem lies in the subjectivity and limitations of information. Evaluators or decision-makers may have differing views on the priority of criteria or the interpretation of the available data. This study proposes a hybrid method-based decision support system approach that combines G2M Weighting and WASPAS to address the challenges in complex and uncertain multi-criteria evaluations. The G2M method is used to objectively determine the weight of criteria based on geometric averages in gray environments, so as to be able to capture data variability and uncertainty. Furthermore, the WASPAS method is applied to calculate the final value and rank the alternative business partners based on a combination of additive and multiplicative approaches. The ranking chart for business partner selection using the G2M Weighting and WASPAS method shows that Partner G gets the highest score of 9.93E+03, followed by Partner A and Partner E who have the same score of 9.43E+03. Meanwhile, Partner D had the lowest score, which was 5.97E+03. This ranking of business partner selection shows that Partner G is the best choice as a business partner based on the evaluation method used. The results of the study show that this hybrid approach provides more accurate, stable, and comprehensive evaluation results than conventional methods. This approach can be an effective solution for companies in supporting the strategic decision-making process in choosing the best business partners.

Abstract

Optimal salesperson performance is the main key to a company's success in achieving sales targets and business growth. A reliable salesperson is not only able to sell products or services, but also has the ability to build strong relationships with customers. The purpose of this study is to assess the performance of salesperson in providing sales allowances based on performance results carried out by applying a combination of MARCOS and PIPRECIA methods, so as to produce a recommendation for the final assessment of salesperson performance that will assist the company in providing sales benefits to salespersons. The combination of Pairwise Relative Criteria Importance Assessment (PIPRECIA) and Measurement of Alternatives and Ranking According to Compromise Solution (MARCOS) forms a powerful holistic approach to decision making. PRCIA facilitates the identification and assessment of the relative weights of each decision criterion, providing a solid foundation for assigning value to the relative importance between criteria. The results of the salesperson performance evaluation ranking above show the final results for rank 1 with a value of 4.3446 obtained by Rini, rank 2 with a value of 3.5369 obtained by Murniasih, rank 3 with a value of 3.1807 obtained by Hana Ferbi.

Abstract

Teachers are the main pillars in the formation and development of future generations. They not only pass on knowledge, but also play an important role in guiding, inspiring, and shaping the character of students. The main problems in selecting the best honor teachers are limited resources and a less systematic evaluation process, lack of transparency and consistency in the selection process can also lead to dissatisfaction and injustice among honor teachers. Through the combination of LOPCOW and MARCOS, this research succeeded in producing a more accurate and accountable ranking in the selection of the Best Honorary Teacher. The LOPCOW approach provides a deep understanding of percentage changes against set criteria, while MARCOS assists in weighting compromise solutions that can optimally meet those criteria. Thus, the study provides a more holistic and detailed view of various aspects of teacher quality and performance, enabling better decision-making in selecting the Best Honorary Teachers who meet educational needs and advance student learning. The ranking results showed that the assessment results from the LOPCOW and MARCOS methods gave results, namely rank 1st with a final value of 0.3404446 obtained by SF Teachers, 2nd place with a final value of 0.3367384 obtained by LBS Teachers, and 3rd place with a final value of 0.3343083 obtained by ASB Teachers.

Abstract

Sports equipment suppliers are suppliers that provide a wide range of equipment, clothing, and accessories needed by athletes, sports teams, and fans to support their activities. One of the main problems in choosing a sports equipment supplier is consistent product quality. Companies that choose sports equipment suppliers need to ensure that the products they buy meet the expected quality standards. In addition, the issue of stock availability and reliable delivery times is also a concern, as the inability to get goods on time can interfere with sports activities or businesses that depend on such equipment. The combination of Logarithmic Percentage Change-Driven Objective Weighting (LOPCOW) and Complex Proportional Assessment (COPRAS) provides a solid and adaptive framework for selecting sports equipment suppliers that best suit existing needs and priorities. This approach helps decision makers to make more informed and targeted decisions, taking into account the overall impact of each supplier's choice in the sporting goods industry. The results of supplier determination recommendations show the results of the assessment of each supplier, based on calculations using a combination of LOPCOW and COPRAS for the first rank with a utility value of 100 obtained by TRB Suppliers. The results of applying the combination of LOPCOW and COPRAS methods in supplier determination can provide more holistic and accurate results, the combination of these two methods can provide a more complete and detailed view of optimal supplier selection, taking into account dynamic changes in relevant criteria and preferences.
