Abstract

Penelitian ini mengupas tuntas mengenai penyebab dan solusi anak usia 4 tahun dengan keterlambatan bicara (speech delay). Demikian menjadi salah satu masalah perkembangan bahasa yang sering ditemui. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Data yang diperoleh melalui tiga cara yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Dengan begitu peneliti dapat memahami, dan menganalisis peran orang tua dan perilaku anak tersebut. Teori yang mendukung penelitian ini teori sosio-interaksional oleh Vygotsky dan teori behaviorisme oleh Skinner. Kedua teori tersebut sangat berkesinambungan dengan anak yang sebenarnya mempunyai ruang stimulus yang lancar dan berinteraksi dengan teman sebaya maupun orang dewasa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor utama keterlambatan bicara adalah pola pengasuhan yang kurang baik, kurangnya stimulasi verbal, minimnya kedekatan orang tua dengan anak, dan penggunaan gadget yang berlebihan. Solusi efektif untuk mengatasinya yaitu mencakup terapi wicara dan pendampingan dalam zona perkembangan proksimal (ZPD) dirumah. Banyak hal yang bisa dilakukan dirumah dengan anak keterlambatan berbicara sebab pendidikan yang paling utama adalah pendidikan yang diberikan oleh orang tua.

Abstract

This study examines phonological symptoms related to mispronunciation of the consonant [l] in Indonesian using psycholinguistic studies. The main focus of this study is to analyze and understand the phonological characteristics of the letter [l], identify the causes of mispronunciation, and the impacts and strategies for improvement. The subject of the study was Dewi Wulandari who had difficulty pronouncing the consonant sound [l] correctly. The results of the study indicate that mispronunciation of the letter [l] can interfere with overall speaking and communication skills. The causes of this mispronunciation include physiological factors such as ankyloglossia (short tongue) and neurological factors such as brain nerve disorders. The habit of mispronunciation when starting to learn a language also contributes to this symptom. The impact of mispronunciation of the letter [l] includes unclear speech which hinders effective communication. To overcome this problem, special teaching techniques and strategies are needed to help speakers pronounce the correct sound. This study aims to improve the components of the language teaching and learning process through language error analysis, with the hope of improving effective and clear communication skills.

Abstract

This study uses a psycholinguistic overview to investigate language development in 4 year old children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Direct interviews with interviewees were used in the qualitative research methodology of this study, and data came from interviews with biological mothers of children with ADHD. The data found from the interviews were then analysed based on psycholinguistic theory. The results of the research show that ADHD can affect the growth and development aspects of the sufferer, including the object of this research. ADHD can still be cured at the age of less than two years, by doing therapy to the doctor. ADHD children in this study experienced differences in growth and development before and after therapy. The role of parents is also important to support and support the process of growth and development of children.

Abstract

Language is a system of vocal symbols used by humans in the communication process in everyday life. Speaking is a verbal communication process, so that the interlocutor can more easily understand the meaning conveyed. Children can learn to speak in two ways: first, by imitating the models they see, either from peers or from older people. Second, with training provided by adults through specific guidance and direction. Speech delay or delayed speech in children is a condition where the child's ability to speak is below the normal development stage according to their age. Children with speech delays have not achieved the language skills that should have been mastered at their age. This study aims to analyze the factors that cause speech delay, anticipatory steps taken by parents, and the benefits of these anticipatory efforts. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method, with data collected through listening and recording techniques. The results of the study indicate that there are four main factors that cause speech delay in children, namely because of the gap between children and parents, language delays influenced by gender, lack of attention from parents, and lack of care and interaction with parents. The anticipation carried out by parents is by providing daycare training to children. The benefit is that now the child has developed in his speaking process.

Abstract

Pelatihan membaca cepat dengan metode skimming merupakan strategi pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan kecepatan dan efektivitas membaca terhadap peserta didik, terutama di sekolah dengan tantangan prestasi rendah atau yang disebut zona merah. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan efektivitas pelatihan metode skimming di sekolah zona merah di Provinsi Banten pada peserta didik Sekolah Menengah Pertama (selanjutnya disebut SMP). Peserta didik SMP mengikuti pelatihan yang dirancang khusus untuk meningkatkan kecepatan membaca sambil mempertahankan pemahaman teks. Adapun peserta didik sekolah yang mengikuti pelatihan adalah SMPN 2 Tanara Kabupaten Serang, Provinsi Banten dan SMP 3 Baros Kabupaten Serang, Provinsi Banten. Instrumen pengukuran terdiri atas tes kecepatan (kata per menit) dan tes pemahaman bacaan. Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan rata-rata kecepatan membaca meningkat. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa pelatihan metode skimming dapat menjadi alternatif efektif untuk sekolah dengan kondisi akademik berada di zona merah. Rekomendasi diberikan agar sekolah zona merah mengintegrasikan pelatihan strategi membaca cepat dalam kurikulum literasi dengan pendampingan guru dan monitor keberlanjutan.
