Abstract

Prevention of violations of character values is essential to note. This is an effort to prevent students from committing acts of violating the character values adopted by the community. The instilling of character values in schools has also not had a significant impact. It is proven that there are still students who violate the values and norms in society. This needs to be studied more deeply to find theoretical gaps regarding cultivating character values in schools. This study aims to find and prove the value model of character education in schools. The substance of the problem in this study is the tendency of bad student behaviour, so it requires a more complex and structured model of character values. This study uses a mixed method (qualitative and quantitative) to find ways to integrate character models in senior high school. This research was conducted at a state senior high school in Banjarmasin. There are 36 respondents (32 students and 4 teachers) in this research. The research instrument is the researcher himself as main instrument, a quantitative instrument using a questionnaire. Informant selection by purposive sampling for qualitative data, random sampling for quantitative data, and data collection via interview, observation, questionnaire, and documentation. Reducing, displaying, and verifying data are the first steps in the data analysis process. The results of research on the development of an integrated character value model have been developed at senior high school with the integration of the character value model of knowing, feeling and action in reducing the violation of character values in schools. The pedagogic implication of this research is that school leaders can use character models in an effort to prevent students from violating values and norms.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the role of entrepreneurship education (EE), perceived behavior control (PBC) and entrepreneurial self-efficacy (ESE) on the entrepreneurial intentions of students of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Lambung Mangkurat. This study used a quantitative method with the help of SEM-PLS to determine the effect of the model under study. Research data was collected through a questionnaire via e-form, which was distributed to Universitas Lambung Mangkurat students from September to December 2022. The instrument was filled with 239 students. The participants were teacher training students at Universitas Lambung Mangkurat who were chosen through a random selection process. The study's findings demonstrated that entrepreneurship education positively influences self-control and self-efficacy. Self-discipline and belief in one's ability to succeed benefit the desire to start a business. Entrepreneurship education does not influence entrepreneurial intentions. Entrepreneurship education was found to influence entrepreneurial self-efficacy and perceived behaviour control positively. Entrepreneurial self-efficacy and perceived behaviour control positively influence entrepreneurial intentions, but entrepreneurship education does not significantly benefit entrepreneurial intents.

Abstract

The shift in global paradigm and threat perspective has led to a wide variety of possible risks and uncertainties. This situation also occurs in the defense economy, so understanding the basic principles of risk and uncertainty is important, especially in a decision-making process. There are several elements and concepts that are usually used in all decision models. Almost all models, whether complex or simple, can be formulated using a standard structure and solved by using general evaluation procedures. For decisions involving a series of decisions and relating to various basic sequential conditions, the decision tree is an appropriate conceptual and schematic modeling tool. A decision tree is a schematic representation of a decision problem. A decision tree is a diagram made like a tree with branches and branches in a chronological order of events, with each having a choice and possibility of occurrence, as well as the results of each choice. The term decision tree is taken from the form of diagrams that have branches and twigs, just like a tree.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the impact of compensation (C), work discipline (WD), and work motivation (WM) on the employee performance (EP) students who work in the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector. This study used a quantitative method with SEM-PLS to determine the results under study. The questionnaire used in this study uses a research questionnaire that has been used in previous studies. The questionnaire was responded to by 121 students who were studying while working in the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector in Universitas Lambung Mangkurat. The results showed that work discipline has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. In addition, work motivation also has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. However, compensation has no effect on employee performance. This shows that the current compensation received by students has not been able to influence students to improve performance, because the compensation received has not been in accordance with the workload carried out by students. Keywords: Compensation, Work Discipline, Work Motivation, Employee PerformanceDOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/E3J/v6i1.71-82
