Abstract

The integration of computational thinking into formal education curricula has become essential as information and communication technology continues to transform educational paradigms. This study addresses a significant challenge in computer science education, where 58% of junior high school students fail to achieve minimum learning standards in programming subjects. Objective this study to develop and evaluate the feasibility and effectiveness of visual programming learning media using Scratch 3.0 to enhance academic achievement in computer science education among seventh-grade students. This research employed a research and development approach using a 4-D model (Define, Design, Develop, Dissemination) conducted at Dr. Wahidin Sudirohusodo Junior High School over two months. The study involved comprehensive validation by three expert validators and implementation across three phases: a small group (n=5), a medium group (n=15), and field testing (n=30). The data collected included expert validation questionnaires, pre- and posttest assessments, and perception surveys, which were analyzed via descriptive statistics and t tests. Expert validation demonstrated high feasibility, with material validation scoring of 87%, media validation scoring of 83.5%, and instructional design validation scoring of 84.5%, all of which were categorized as "Very Good." The effectiveness evaluation revealed an overall effectiveness of 92.73% in the "very good" category. Statistical analysis revealed significant differences between the experimental and control groups (t-stat = 5.06, p < 0.001), with the experimental group achieving a mean score of 77.00 compared with 70.60 for the control group. Scratch 3.0-based visual programming learning media is feasible and effective for enhancing computer science learning outcomes, demonstrating superior performance compared with conventional teaching methods in junior high school education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh jumlah mordan tawas terhadap hasil pewarnaan kain katun dengan teknik shibori menggunakan ekstrak daun ketapang dengan penelitian dilaksanakan di Rumah Batik JShibori Binjai pada bulan Desember 2024. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen kuantitatif dengan perlakuan variasi jumlah mordan tawas 100 gram, 150 gram, dan 200 gram. Analisis data dilakukan melalui uji normalitas, homogenitas, serta uji hipotesis menggunakan uji non-parametrik Kruskal-Wallis. Hasil uji persyaratan yaitu uji normalitas menunjukkan bahwa data berdistribusi normal karena masing-masing nilai (Sig) > 0,05. Uji homogenitas menunjukkan data tidak homogen karena nilai Levene Statistic sebesar 5,794 dengan nilai signifikasi 0,000 < 0,05. Untuk itu digunakan uji hipotesis non-parametrik Kruskal-wallis dengan kriterias nilai probabilitas < 0,05. Nilai signifikansi yang diperoleh sebesar 0,024 < 0,05 sehingga hipotesis diterima. Dari ketiga variasi, penggunaan mordan tawas sebanyak 200 gram menghasilkan daya serap warna yang paling baik, warna lebih merata, lebih tajam, serta motif shibori yang lebih jelas dibandingkan penggunaan mordan 150 gram maupun 100 gram.

Abstract

Penelitian ini didorong oleh tantangan signifikan yang dihadapi oleh siswa dalam menguasai desain busana digital melalui aplikasi Ibis Paint X, terutama karena diperkenalkannya materi desain busana pesta digital baru dan kelangkaan sumber daya instruksional cetak. Akibatnya, ada kebutuhan mendesak untuk media pembelajaran alternatif yang dapat meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan kreatif siswa. Penelitian ini berupaya untuk mengembangkan modul elektronik (e-modul) dan mengevaluasi kepraktisannya untuk mengajar desain busana pesta digital untuk siswa Kelas XI Desain Busana di SMK Negeri 1 Beringin. Dengan menggunakan metodologi Penelitian dan Pengembangan (R&D) yang dipandu oleh model 4D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate), prosesnya mencakup validasi oleh tiga ahli materi pelajaran dan tiga ahli media, bersama dengan pengujian pada 34 siswa. Temuan mengungkapkan bahwa 96,3% siswa dan semua guru menyatakan permintaan yang kuat untuk e-modul; skor validasi dari ahli materi rata-rata 94,6%, sementara ahli media menilainya sebesar 90,7%, kedua klasifikasi menunjukkan "sangat layak." Lebih lanjut, uji coba pada kelompok kecil, menengah, dan besar menghasilkan tingkat keberhasilan masing-masing sebesar 88,2%, 93,5%, dan 95,4%, sementara penilaian oleh para pendidik desain busana mencapai 97,6%. Secara keseluruhan, sambutan positif dari siswa dan guru menunjukkan bahwa e-modul ini sangat tepat dan efektif sebagai sumber belajar untuk desain busana pesta digital, yang menegaskan kesiapannya untuk diimplementasikan secara lebih luas.

Abstract

Pada penelitian ini memiliki tujuan yaitu, 1) Untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengembangan media e-modul pada mata pelajaran Teknik Dasar Menjahit kelas X di SMK Gelora Jaya Nusantara, 2) Untuk mengetahui kelayakan media e-modul pada mata pelajaran Teknik Dasar Menjahit kelas X di SMK Gelora Jaya Nusantara. Untuk jenis penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan menggunakan model Analzye, Design, Deploment, Implementation, Evaluation (ADDIE). Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah terdiri dari 3 ahli materi, 2 ahli media yang sudah ahli dalam bidangnya dan 31 siswa kelas X di SMK Gelora Jaya Nusantara. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah produk media e-modul pada mata pelajaran Teknik Dasar Menjahit terhadap materi penyelesain tepi busana dengan hasil uji validitas ahli materi dengan persentase rata-rata 92,15% menempatkan pada kategori “sangat baik” dan hasil uji validitas ahli media dengan persentase rata-rata 92% mendapatkan kategori “sangat baik”. Pada hasil uji kelayakan perorangan dengan persentase rata-rata 86,7% menempatkan katageori “sangat baik”, uji kelayakan kelompok kecil dengan persentase rata-rata 90% mendapatkan kategori “sangat baik” dan uji kelayakan lapangan mendapatkan persentase rata-rata 95,8% dengan kategori “sangat baik”. Berdasarkan hasil nilai rata-rata kelayakan media pembelajaran e-modul pada mata pelajaran Teknik Dasar Menjahit dapat dikategorikan “sangat layak” sehingga layak untuk digunakan pada proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop character learning strategies, find out the learning outcomes of skills taught with hobbyist Batak culture learning strategies and Javanese culture-based learning strategies, find out the learning outcomes of skills that have visual and kinesthetic learning styles, and know the interactions between learning strategies and styles. Learning that has an impact on learning outcomes. This research is development research with a quasi-experimental treatment. The instruments used are learning achievement tests and learning style questionnaire sheets. The hypothesis was tested using Anava. The results of the study stated that learning Skills I in the Batak culture-based learning strategy class had higher learning outcomes than the Skills class with Javanese culture-based character learning strategies in 27 public schools in Medan City. Second Learning Objectives Student skills have a higher kinesthetic learning style compared to students who have a visual learning style in Medan City Middle School students. So for culture-based learning strategies, the results will be better if students have a tendency for kinesthetic learning styles, because kinesthetic learning styles are in accordance with character learning strategies.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Efforts 0f developing of human resources is a long-term process that should begin in early childhood.  According to the Presidential Regulation. 60 of 2013 that the Early Childhood children since the fetus   until the age of 6 years, which are grouped into: the fetus in the womb to be born; birth until the age of 28 days; aged 1 to 24 months, and ages 2 to 6 years. Family planning  program  pioneered since 1984 based on head SKB BKKBN and Minister of State for Women's Role (MEN FIU) No. 11 Kep / Men UPW/IX/84. 170/hk.010/E3/84. Family planning  program aims to enhance the knowledge and skills of parents in fostering the growth and development of Toddlers through physical stimulation, intelligence, emotional and social. Therefore  Family planning program should be implemented in an integrated, relevant and sustainable system. Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine the color quality from the results of mangosteen dyeing extracts rind on silk yarn based on the time of immersion and the amount of lime tahor (CaCO3). A method used is an experimental method that uses 5 x 2 factorial designs with 10 combinations was performed using the formula one-way ANOVA. Based on the calculation of analysiss, groups using lime mordant 16 g / liter had a higher mean than the group means using lime mordant 8 g / liter. For the average lowest value found in the group with soaking for 1 hour by using lime mordant 8 g / liter. As for the average of the highest values found in the group with soaking for 18 hours by using a mordant lime 16 g / liter. As for the hypothesis test concluded that there was no significant difference in the color quality of the dyeing mangosteen peel extract as a natural dye using silk thread is based on the time of immersion and the amount of mordant lime (CaCO3) which is diffirent. All in all, the longer the soaking time concentration rind mangosteen will produce color and sparkling despite getting older did not differ significantly and the use of lime tahor amount that will more evenly produce more color and more concentrated. Kata Kunci : Ekstrak kulit buah manggis, konsentrasi, benang sutera.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research aimed to find out (1) sewing knowledge; (2) sewing skirt skill; (3) the relationship of sewing knowledge to thesewing skirt skill. This research was conducted in March 2014. Research Locations was at Tanjung Morawa . Sampling total is 41 teenagers, with the method of data collection using sewing knowledge test and observation to sewing skirt skill.  Data analysis using descriptive techniques, requirements analysis using normality, linearity and hypotheses tests to product moment correlation. The result is shown the knowledge of sewing is 51.22 % and skill to sew skirt is 100% belong to category tend to be high. To test the data normality using the chi-square formula in the level of 5% with df = 6, is obtained sewing knowledge variables were normally distributed 11,070 ≤ 2.31) and sewing skirt ability variables were normally distributed (3.31 ≤ 11,070). While the linearity and the significance tests of the regression equation,  for regression equation y and x is obtained y: 83.86799 + 0.101X have a significant relation5% is Fcalculate< Ftable(4.834 > 4.09) and linearity test Fcalculate< Ftable(2.10 < 2.13). From the result of correlation analysis is conducted rwy 0.332 > 0.308. Thus rxy>rtable or 0.332> 0.308. It is concluded that there is a significant relationship of sewing knowledge with sewing skirt skill. Kata Kunci : Pengetahuan menjahit, kemampuan menjahit rok.

Creativity is needed to pick up the century of competition because developing individual creativity can produce innovative work or something new that is needed by the times. Family is the first and foremost teacher in child development. In educating children to grow into a creative person parents should accompany children in the growth period.
