Student learning modalities are important to be identified by teachers and students. Because the success of students in the field of academics is supported by the appropriate student learning modalities. Often occurs in the process of teaching and learning teachers do not know the modalities of student learning so that the material in teaching teachers difficult to accept by students. Appropriate learning modalities that are in accordance with the methods taught by the teacher need to be built in an Expert System. Expert System that is processed in this research is taken from the expertise of teachers of Senior High School Counseling Guidance 1 Tilatang Kamang by using Forward Chaining method. Learning modalities are processed using expert systems created with php programming languages and mysql databases. Furthermore, this expert system can determine the modalities of visual learning, auditory and kinesthetic. The result of testing on this method is able to determine the learning modality in the students with the accuracy and the speed is good. Expert system test results have been able to determine student learning modalities clearly and can already be recommended to help teachers and students in improving the way students learn the right.

Digitalisasi dan otomasi dalam pelayanan mahasiswa di Perguruan Tinggi dapat menghasilkan big data. Amanat pemerintah dalam Peraturan Mentri Riset Teknologi dan Pendidikan Tinggi agar besaran Uang Kuliah Tunggal (UKT) di Perguruan Tinggi Negeri dibagi ke dalam 5 kelompok berdasarkan tingkatan kondisi sosial ekonomi orang tua. Dalam proses menetapkan UKT begitu banyak indikator sosial ekonomi orang tua yang harus dijadikan acuan sehingga menyulitkan dalam mengidentifiksi dan mencari formula yang tepat. Untuk mengelompokkan data mahasiswa ini dilakukan dengan teknik data mining menggunakan metode K-Means Clustering. Metode ini mengelompokkan besaran UKT mahasiswa berdasarkan pola atau kemiripan data sosial ekonomi orang tua. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data calon mahasiswa baru Unversitas Negeri Padang. Pengelompokan ini bertujuan untuk membantu menetapkan besaran UKT calon mahasiswa baru pada Perguruan Tinggi Negeri. Hasil dari penelitian diperoleh 5 kelompok besaran UKT, terdiri dari UKT kategori 1 Rp. 500.000, UKT kategori 2 Rp. 1.000.000, UKT kategori 3 Rp. 2.000.000, UKT kategori 4 Rp. 3.000.000 dan UKT kategori 5 Rp. 4.000.000.

Family planning aims to minimize birth rates in Indonesia. To conduct socialization, it is carried out to existing fertile couples. Pus is a married couple whose wife is in the range of 15-49 years. Contraception itself consists of 2 periods, namely short and long. Where the pus can choose according to what they want, therefore there is often a lack of stock. Thus it is necessary to predict how many contraceptives are used with a method to be more efficient. The Monte Carlo method is used which is a numerical analysis method that involves a sample of random numbers. Where to use the previous year's data to get the predicted results of the next year in the form of numbers. After passing the simulation series the percentage results have been obtained with an average of over 80%.

Many people who have children do not know about hemophilia, because this disease is one of the rare diseases. Hemophilia is a genetic disorder in the blood caused by a lack of blood clotting factors. Therefore there is a need for information for the public to be able to find out about this disease, so that when there is an unnatural bleeding, early treatment can be done properly.Therefore an expert system was designed to diagnose early hemophilia in children.The method used in this expert system is the Case Based Reasoning method. The Case Based Reasoning method is a method used to solve a new case by adapting the symptoms found in previous cases that are similar to the new case.This expert system can provide solutions / early prevention of the diagnostic process carried out. Expert system applications are designed based on websites using the PHP programming language.

E-Government adalah program pemerintah untuk mengembangkan penyampaian tata kelola berbasis elektronik dan melakukan transformasi dalam administrasi publik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menilai implementasi e-Government di Kota Padang. Strategi Penerapan eGoverment dapat diketahui dengan menganalisis dan mengukur serta mengevaluasi tingkat kematangan (maturity). Pemerintah Kota Padang telah menerapkan e-Government, tiap Organisasi Perangkat Daerah / Satuan Kerja Perangkat Daerah (OPD/SKPD) sudah memanfaatkan teknologi informasi untuk berbagai operasional kegiatan di OPD masing-masing. Dalam penerapan e-Government masih terdapat permasalahan dari berbagai aspek/domain yang mengindikasikan bahwa implementasi e-Government belum optimal. Penelitian ini menggunakan framework COBIT 5 sesuai dengan domain / aspek/ indikator yang telah ditetapkan, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kematangan penerapan e-Government di Kota Padang sudah Baik dibeberapa Domain, namun perlu memperhatikan rekomendasi dalam mengambil keputusan dan kebijakan dalam pengembangan dan penerapkan e-Goverment di Pemerintah Kota Padang agar dapat menentukan skala prioritas pengembangan dari tingkat kematangan (Maturity). Hasil Domain APO tingkat kematangan : 3.25, BAI tingkat kematangan: 3.27, MEA tingkat kematangan : 3.13, DSS tingkat kematangan : 3.28, dan Rata-rata Tingkat Kematangan : 3.23.

The problems that often occur in children are as follows: Spit up, dysphagia, Cyclic vomiting syndrome, Colic, Diarrhea, Constipation. Dempster-Shafer is a mathematical theory for proof based on belief functions and plausible reasoning, which are used to combine separate pieces of information (evidence) to calculate the probability of an event. This theory was developed by Arthur P. Dempster and Glenn Shafer. In general the Dampster-Shafer theory is written in a Belief, Plausibility interval (Triara Puspitasari et al, 2016). Able to produce the type of disease experienced by the patient and provide recommendations for what treatment should be done by the patient.

Brain bleeding can occur because of the outbreak of the blood vessels in the brain which culminated into hemorrhagic stroke or stroke due to bleeding. Hemorrhagic Stroke occurs when there is a burst of blood vessels result from some trigger factor. Segmentation techniques to Scanner computed tomography images (CT scan of the brain) is one of the methods used by the radiologist to detect brain bleeding or congenital abnormalities that occur in the brain. This research will determine the area of the brain bleeding on each image slice CT - scan every patient, to detect and extract brain bleeding, so it can calculate the volume of the brain bleeding. The detection and extraction bleeding area of the brain is based on the hybrid thresholding method.

Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (LPPM) UNAND adalah suatu lembaga yang berada di Universitas Andalas, yang tupoksi utamanya adalah bidang Penelitian dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat, Setiap tahun secara rutin LPPM menerima dan menyeleksi proposal dari 15 Fakultas, 45 Prodi yang ada di Universitas Andalas. Proses seleksi yang terjadi pada LPPM UNAND, prosesnya masih dilakukan secara manual, sering mengalami human error, sehingga kurang efektif dengan apa yang diinginkan oleh pimpinan, untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan tersebut digunakan sistem penunjang keputusan dengan menerapkan metode AHP dalam penetepan keputusan. Setelah dilakukan pengujian, metode AHP dapat menentukan perengkingan proposal penelitian yang layak untuk didanai sesuai kriteria yang telah ditetapkan.

Chicken is a farm animal that is loved by many people, where chicken contains many things that are needed by the body. To get the best chicken, the company needs to conduct a selection in determining the best chicken to be marketed to consumers. Selection Determining the best chicken to be marketed is part of the selection process. In the process of determining the best chicken PT. Japfa com feed Indonesia Tbk is carried out with a series of tests in the form of chicken size, feather color, weight, and body temperature. Therefore we need a decision support system with the weighted product (WP) method as an alternative solution of choice so that it runs effectively and reduces subjective assessments. From the test data, it can be concluded that the system is able to provide alternative choices effectively and reduce the element of subjectivity with a margin of error of 90% when compared to the same selection system.

Aneka Tani Mandiri Trade Unit is a fertilizer sales shop in the city of Padang. From year to year sales of fertilizers in UD. Aneka Tani Mandiri experiences fluctuations where it is difficult to predict sales increases and decreases every month. The problem that most often occurs in this store is often experiencing shortages and excess stock of goods, this is very likely to occur because many of its items are not sold out and many items are needed by consumers but insufficient stock of goods. Another result is that the profits from the store should be more reduced, with this problem the store must be able to predict how many items will be sold and how many items must be provided in the following month, by knowing the number of items to be sold, the deficiency or excess stock of goods can be avoided. So for that the research was conducted using the Trend Moment Method to predict and predict fertilizer stock that will be provided for the following month. So that will increase sales turnover of the store. By building a fertilizer sales forecasting system using the Trend Moment method which is assisted by the PHP and MySQL programming languages can produce ZA fertilizer sales predictions with success rates above 75%.
