Abstract

Teaching Assistance is part of the MBKM (Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka) program which aims to improve students' literacy and numeracy skills and provide opportunities for students to learn and develop themselves. One of the target schools for this program is SMP Negeri 4 Mauliru. This program includes various strategies, including optimizing reading corners equipped with picture illustrations to attract students' interest as well as casual reading activities aimed at improving reading habits. Apart from that, this program also involves distributing multiplication brochures to strengthen students' understanding of numeracy as well as making literacy and numeracy posters with the aim of providing a deeper understanding while strengthening educational messages about the importance of literacy and numeracy.  The main aim of this program is to improve students' literacy and numeracy skills, as well as support the development of basic abilities and create a fun learning environment. The results show that this program has a positive impact by increasing literacy and numeracy skills, as well as students' learning motivation and interest in reading.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa di SMP Negeri 1 Waingapu melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif TGT yang didukung oleh media Flipchart serta dilengkapi dengan Quiz Wordwall. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif, yang dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus mencakup tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IX G SMP Negeri 1 Waingapu Tahun Ajaran 2024/2025. Data dalam penelitian ini dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan tes, sementara analisis hasil belajar kognitif dilakukan dengan menggunakan Excel. Penelitian dimulai dengan tahap pra-siklus, di mana rata-rata nilai kognitif siswa tercatat sebesar 68,4375, dengan 69% siswa belum memenuhi Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM). Sementara itu, nilai afektif rata-rata mencapai 73, namun 63% siswa masih berada di bawah KKM. Pada siklus I, setelah diterapkannya model pembelajaran kooperatif TGT yang didukung oleh media Flipchart dan Quiz Wordwall, rata-rata nilai kognitif meningkat menjadi 79,0625, dengan 66% siswa berhasil mencapai KKM. Aspek afektif juga menunjukkan peningkatan, dengan rata-rata nilai mencapai 77 dan 63% siswa berhasil memenuhi KKM. Pada siklus II, terjadi peningkatan lebih lanjut, di mana rata-rata nilai kognitif meningkat menjadi 84,0625 dengan 81% siswa mencapai KKM. Selain itu, nilai afektif turut mengalami kenaikan hingga 87,3125, dengan 81% siswa berhasil memenuhi KKM.  Pada siklus III, hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan, dengan nilai rata-rata kognitif mencapai 87,1875 dan 94% siswa berhasil memenuhi KKM. Nilai afektif juga menunjukkan peningkatan hingga 90,3125, dengan seluruh siswa (100%) mencapai KKM. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif TGT yang didukung oleh media Flipchart serta dilengkapi dengan Quiz Wordwall terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, baik dari aspek kognitif maupun afektif.

Abstract

The Community Service Learning (KKN-T) program conducted by students of Universitas Kristen Wira Wacana Sumba at SD Katolik Londa Lima aims to improve students' literacy and numeracy through creative activities, namely the creation of a knowledge tree and playing congklak. This program aims to address the low literacy and numeracy skills of 4th and 5th-grade students using observation and interview methods. The program involved students in creating a knowledge tree with an environmental theme for 4th grade and a counting theme for 5th grade, as well as the traditional game of congklak to strengthen arithmetic skills. Evaluation results showed an increase in students' interest and ability in literacy and numeracy after the activities were conducted. The activities also created a fun learning atmosphere, improved cognitive skills, and developed students' social skills. The creation of the knowledge tree helped visualize the lesson concepts, while playing congklak trained arithmetic and logical thinking abilities. This program has proven effective in supporting the development of basic competencies in students and promoting the values of literacy and numeracy in daily life. However, there were limitations in terms of time and supporting facilities. In the future, this activity is expected to be implemented sustainably and involve parents in supporting learning at home.

Abstract

This study aimed to find out how dicotyledonous medicinal plants were used in the Wailaboha Forest, Central Sumba Regency, and to use the research findings as a learning resource in the form of an encyclopedia. The descriptive quantitative technique was utilized. The subjects of this study were all dicotyledonous plants identified in the Hutan Wailaboha Kecamatan Umbu Ratu Nggay region. The samples in this study were dicotyledonous medicinal plants collected utilizing purposive sampling techniques at each research location. The double plot approach and observation plots were utilized to collect data in this investigation. This study's data analysis techniques were Relative Density, Relative Frequency, Significance Index, and Shannon-Wiener Diversity Index. At the same time, the validation team, including the head of MGMP and biology teachers in Central Sumba, assessed learning resources. The encyclopedia validation test yielded 98% for validator I, 89% for validator II, and 75% for validator III. This value suggests that the encyclopedia is usable and can help with learning.ABSTRAK:. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pemanfaatan tumbuhan obat dikotil di Hutan Wailaboha Kabupaten Sumba Tengah dan menjadikan hasil penelitian sebagai sumber belajar dalam bentuk Ensiklopedia. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Subyek penelitian ini terdiri dari semua jenis tumbuhan dikotil yang terdapat dikawasan Hutan Wailaboha Kecamatan Umbu Ratu Nggay . Sampel dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari tumbuhan obat dikotil yang terdapat di setiap stasiun penelitian dengan menggunakan teknik purpose sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode petak ganda dan plot pengamatan. Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Relative Density, Relative Frequency, Significance Index, dan Shannon-Wiener Diversity Index sedangkan penilaian sumber belajar dilakukan oleh tim validasi yaitu ketua MGMP dan guru-guru biologi di Sumba Tengah. Hasil uji validasi ensiklopedia oleh validator I yaitu 98%, validator II sebesar 89%, dan validator III sebesar 78,5%. Nilai tersebut menunjukkan bahwa ensiklopedia layak digunakan dan dapat menunjang proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

The highest plant diversity in the tropical rainforest area in Matalawa National Park is the Angiospermae plant. There are still many people in Praingkareha Village who are not familiar with Angiospermae plants or closed seed plants. This study aims to describe the diversity index of Angiosperm plants found in the Laputi Forest block, Matalawa National Park. This research was limited to the Laputi Forest block, so it did not cover the entire forest in Praingkareha Village, Matalawa National Park, East Sumba Regency. This study used a double plot method with a purposive sampling technique. The results showed that there were 30 species of Angiosperms from 17 families with a total of 499 individuals. The diversity of Angiosperm plants in the Laputi Forest block of the Matalawa National Park area is moderate with (Ĥ)=2.90.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam memilah dan mengelola sampah rumah tangga melalui metode ecobrick dan eco enzyme serta mendorong terbentuknya praktik pengelolaan sampah berkelanjutan berbasis komunitas di Desa Kuta. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan edukatif dan partisipatif, melibatkan 30 peserta yang terdiri dari ibu rumah tangga dan pemuda. Indikator keberhasilan mencakup peningkatan pemahan peserta dan keterampilan pembuatan ecobrik dan eco enzym. Hasil pre test menunjukkan bahwa hanya 43% memahami konsep pemilihan sampah dan 33% menguasai teknik dasar pembuatan ecobrick dan eco enzym. Setelah pelatihan, terjadi peningkatan signifikan dimana 97% peserta memahami pentingnya pengolahan sampah, dan 93% mampu mempraktikkan pembuatan ecobrick dan eco enzyme secara mandiri. Hasil ini menunjukkan efektivitas pendekatan pelatihan dan meningkatkan literasi dan keterampilan praktis masyarakat.

Abstract

Fenomena serupa terjadi di Desa Mondu, Kecamatan Kanatang, Kabupaten Sumba Timur, Nusa Tenggara Timur, yang menghadapi kerusakan terumbu karang akibat aktivitas masyarakat, seperti praktik sulu (cara tradisional menangkap ikan) dan rendahnya pemahaman tentang pentingnya ekosistem terumbu karang. Aktivitas ini merusak terumbu karang, yang pertumbuhannya sangat lambat, hanya beberapa sentimeter per tahun. Program Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan aksi masyarakat dalam pelestarian terumbu karang melalui sosialisasi, pelatihan transplantasi menggunakan pipa PVC, dan aksi penanaman karang. Program ini meningkatkan rata-rata pengetahuan masyarakat sebesar 51,31 poin dan mendorong komitmen pelestarian lingkungan. Pendampingan lanjutan diperlukan untuk keberlanjutan program.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang ditemukan di sekolah SMP Negeri 3 Waingapu menunjukan bahwa pada mata pelajaran IPA pembelajaran yang dilakukan sudah menggunakan beberapa model pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa seperti problem based learning, dan jigsaw.Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa di SMP Negeri 3 Waingapu melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe talking stick berbantuan media video animasi. Jenis penelitian merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif. Penelitian yang dilakukan di kelas dengan siklus spiral. Adapun tahapan penelitian : persiapan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII B SMP Negeri 3 Waingapu yang terdaftar pada tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Teknik dan instrumen pengambilan data yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi dan tes. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu N-gain menggunakan EXCEL. Hasil penelitian dapat dilihat dari perbandingan nilai rata-rata setiap siklus pada pra siklus 42,25 (pretest),  56,45 (posttest) dengan N-gain 0,26 kategori rendah, dan nilai rata-rata pada pra siklus sebesar 51, pada siklus I nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh 58,38 (pretest), 78,70 (posttest) dengan N-gain 0,50 kategori sedang dan nilai rata-rata 84 selanjutnya pada siklus II nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh 74,18 (pretest), 95,16 (posttest) dan nilai rata-rata pada siklus II sebesar 91. Hasil tersebut dapat dikatakan meningkat. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe talking stick berbantuan media video animasi dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VII-B di SMP Negeri 3 Waingapu

Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of learning models Example  Non Example assisted by media images in improving science learning outcomes at SMP Negeri 1 Rindi. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with a quantitative descriptive approach. Using two cycles, each cycle consists of several stages including: planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were students in class VIII A, totaling 30 people. Data collection techniques and instruments used in this study were tests, observations and documentation. The measurement of learning outcomes is focused on the cognitive and psychomotor domains.The results of the research show the application of the learning model Example Non Example aided by media imagescan improve student learning outcomes in science subjects. This increase can be seen during the pre-cycle, cycle I and cycle II through the learning carried out. At the pre-cycle stage, there were 11 students who completed with a percentage of 37% while those who did not complete were 19 students with a percentage of 63%. In cycle I, there were 22 students who completed with a percentage of 73%, while those who did not complete were 8 students with a percentage of 27%. In cycle II, there were 26 students who completed with a percentage of 87% while those who did not complete were 4 students with a percentage of 13%. It can be concluded that the application of learning models Example Non Example aided by media imagescan improve science learning outcomes class VIII Aat Rindi 1 Public Middle School.

Abstract

Background: This study aims to determine the Numbered Head Together model using the help of pocket book media equipped with TTS LKS to improve cognitive and affective learning outcomes of students at SMP Negeri 2 Karera. The type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) developed by Kemmis Taggar which is carried out from pre-cycle, cycle I and cycle II. Where each cycle includes the planning, implementation, observation and reflection stages. The subjects of the study were 31 students in grade VIII. Data collection techniques used test, affective assessment rubric and documentation. Data analysis techniques used quantitative descriptive by relying on statistics to analyze the test results given to students to determine the increase in student learning achievement and affective assessment sheets which include mutual cooperation, independence and self-confidence. The results showed an increase in student learning achievement in the cognitive and affective domains of students from the pre-cycle there were 25.80%, cycle I reached 58.08%, and experienced an increase in learning achievement in cycle II to 90.32%. In the aspect of students' affective assessment, from the pre-cycle with a very poor category (19.35%), cycle I with a sufficient category (54.83%) and in cycle II there was an increase with a very good category (90.32%), so that the implementation of the numbered head together model with the help of pocket books equipped with LKS TSS is effective in improving students' cognitive and affective learning outcomes at SMP Negeri 2 Karera.
