Abstract

This study examines the implementation of managerial supervision in improving the quality of facilities and learning environments at the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah of Pondok Pesantren Raudlotul Muta’allimiin. The research focuses on how the Kiai’s value based vision is translated into supervisory practices, how administrative actors navigate structural constraints, and how students experience the impact of supervision. Using a qualitative approach with a single case study design, data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and document analysis. The data were analyzed thematically through processes of reduction, presentation, and verification. The findings reveal three major themes. First, managerial supervision serves as a value translation process in which the Kiai’s spiritual vision particularly regarding cleanliness, discipline, and moral responsibility is transformed into daily supervisory procedures. Second, supervisory practices are challenged by structural limitations such as constrained budgets and delayed facility repairs, resulting in gaps between evaluation and follow-up actions. Third, supervision successfully fosters participatory resonance among students, marked by a shift from extrinsic compliance toward intrinsic responsibility in maintaining their learning environment. The study concludes that the quality of educational facilities in pesantren is shaped by the interplay of spiritual values, transformational leadership, and institutional capacity to act on supervisory findings. Effective managerial supervision, therefore, requires not only procedural accuracy but also sustained value alignment and resource readiness to ensure continuous improvement.

Abstract

Peningkatan mutu pembelajaran di sekolah menengah menuntut kepala sekolah memiliki kapasitas supervisi akademik yang tidak berhenti pada pemeriksaan administrasi, tetapi mampu mendorong perbaikan proses pembelajaran secara nyata di ruang kelas. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan peran supervisi akademik kepala sekolah dalam menjamin mutu pembelajaran di SMP Al-Wildan International Islamic School 3 BSD. Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan memanfaatkan dokumen program supervisi akademik sekolah, instrumen supervisi, laporan hasil supervisi semester, serta dokumen tindak lanjut supervisi. Data dianalisis melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa supervisi akademik yang terencana dan dieksekusi secara sistematis berdampak pada meningkatnya konsistensi perencanaan pembelajaran sesuai standar kurikulum, meningkatnya kualitas proses pembelajaran melalui umpan balik yang terarah berdasarkan observasi kelas, serta meningkatnya kualitas evaluasi pembelajaran melalui peneguhan asesmen formatif sebagai dasar pengambilan keputusan akademik. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa supervisi akademik kepala sekolah bukan hanya menjadi kewajiban struktural, tetapi berfungsi sebagai mekanisme penjaminan mutu pembelajaran yang substantif dan berkelanjutan. Temuan ini memberikan implikasi bahwa sekolah perlu memposisikan supervisi akademik sebagai core system dalam peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran, bukan hanya sebagai aktivitas administratif.

Abstract

Kepemimpinan mutu merupakan kerangka strategis yang mengintegrasikan visi, kebijakan, dan praktik manajerial untuk menjamin peningkatan kualitas pendidikan secara berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan peran model kepemimpinan mutu dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di MA Sirojul Falah dengan menggunakan pendekatan mix-method (kualitatif dan kuantitatif). Sumber data meliputi dokumen rencana mutu, laporan audit internal, hasil observasi pembelajaran, serta wawancara mendalam dengan kepala madrasah, wakil kurikulum, dan sejumlah guru. Analisis kualitatif dilakukan melalui reduksi data, penyajian tematik, dan triangulasi; sedangkan analisis kuantitatif bersifat deskriptif untuk memperkuat bukti non-numerik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model kepemimpinan mutu berbasis siklus Plan–Do–Check–Action (PDCA) serta penguatan tim mutu internal mendorong terbangunnya budaya kerja kolaboratif, peningkatan konsistensi perencanaan pembelajaran, dan penguatan mekanisme evaluasi berkelanjutan. Kepala madrasah berperan sebagai agen perubahan, fasilitator kolaborasi, dan pemantau kualitas yang memastikan tindak lanjut hasil audit diimplementasikan. Kesimpulannya, kepemimpinan mutu menjadi motor utama peningkatan mutu pendidikan di MA Sirojul Falah dan layak dijadikan model adaptif bagi madrasah lain dengan kondisi serupa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tantangan serta strategi kepemimpinan perempuan dalam menghadapi era digital di lingkungan pendidikan, khususnya di SD Negeri Sukadanau 05. Fenomena semakin meningkatnya peran perempuan sebagai kepala sekolah di tengah tuntutan digitalisasi menjadi fokus utama dalam studi ini. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus, data diperoleh dari hasil wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi yang dilakukan terhadap kepala sekolah, guru, serta tenaga kependidikan. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepala sekolah perempuan menghadapi berbagai tantangan seperti keterbatasan literasi digital, peran ganda sebagai ibu dan pemimpin, stereotip gender, serta infrastruktur teknologi yang belum memadai. Untuk mengatasi tantangan tersebut, diterapkan sejumlah strategi kepemimpinan yang meliputi e-leadership, pelatihan peningkatan kapasitas digital, pendekatan kolaboratif, serta komunikasi empatik. Hasil dari penerapan strategi ini menunjukkan efektivitas yang cukup signifikan dalam mendorong proses digitalisasi sekolah dan peningkatan mutu pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa kepemimpinan perempuan dapat menjadi kekuatan transformasional dalam pendidikan apabila didukung strategi yang tepat dan konteks yang kondusif.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze how professional organizations contribute to the transformation of lecturer capacity development in PTKIN, examine their contribution to the implementation of the tridharma of higher education, and identify the challenges and opportunities they face. The study employed a mixed-methods design conducted from June to October 2024, involving lecturers from several PTKIN affiliated with PD-PGMI and PPMPI. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, questionnaire surveys, and document analysis. Qualitative data were analyzed thematically, while quantitative data were processed using descriptive statistics and integrated at the interpretation stage. The findings show that professional organizations function as academic platforms for professional learning, knowledge exchange, collaboration, publication support, and networking. Participation in these organizations strengthens teaching, research, publication, and broader academic engagement. However, their transformative role is constrained by limited funding, uneven participation, organizational capacity issues, and insufficient institutional support. This study concludes that professional organizations should be recognized as transformative academic infrastructures that connect individual lecturer development with broader institutional advancement in PTKIN.

Abstract

Schools are one of the educational institutions that can be considered a vehicle for achieving Indonesia's goals of independence. The success of these goals depends on the human resources within the school, including the principal, teachers, students, and other educational staff. Teachers are one of the components that determine the implementation of the educational process. The teacher is the main actor as a facilitator in organizing the student learning process. Therefore, teacher performance is very influential in realizing national education programs. Teachers must have sufficient quality, because teachers are one of the micro compone~nts of the education system which is very strategic and plays many roles in the educational process. This research aims to determine efforts to improve teacher performance through pedagogical competence and work motivation. This research was carried out using a qualitative approach, by conducting interviews and observations to determine the extent to which pedagogical competence and work motivation can improve teacher performance. From the results of the research conducted, it can be concluded that teachers who have good pedagogical competence can provide learning to students according to their needs, so that they can improve their performance. Like wise with the teacher's work motivation, the higher the teacher's work motivation, the greater the teacher's performance. This is an effective effort to improve teacher performance. Thus increasing pedagogical competence and work motivation can improve teacher performance.
