Abstract

This study assesses the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) model's effectiveness in evaluating guidance and counseling programs within the Merdeka curriculum of Vocational High Schools. Collaborating with three experts—guidance and counseling specialists, educational technology experts, and practitioner teachers—the research employs assessment tests and pre-test/post-test questionnaires for 10 Guidance and Counseling Teachers at Vocational High School 3 Banjarmasin. Evaluation results, covering general, specific, and material aspects, show a high level of agreement among the three evaluators. General evaluation exhibits high reliability (ICC = 0.750), and thorough and material evaluations demonstrate high reliability with ICC values of 0.794 each. The trial of 10 Guidance and Counseling Teachers reveals a significant improvement in their evaluation skills after implementing the CIPP model. Average post-test results are notably higher than pre-test, highlighting the positive impact of the CIPP evaluation model on enhancing these skills. The research concludes that the CIPP evaluation model is reliable and consistent in measuring guidance and counseling program effectiveness in the Merdeka curriculum of Vocational High Schools. Empirical and theoretical support establishes a strong foundation for considering future implementation of the CIPP model in educational program evaluations. This model's application is anticipated to elevate the quality and relevance of educational programs, particularly in the context of guidance and counseling in Vocational High Schools, with potential practical and managerial benefits.

Abstract

Abstract: To optimally carry out their developmental tasks during the Covid-19 Pandemic, which affects psychosocial and mental health, teenagers require mentoring. One of those accompaniments may come from their peers. This study observes the way teenagers being peer-counselors during the Covid-19 pandemic. This quantitative research uses a descriptive survey design. Meanwhile, its populations were all participants of peer counseling training webinars conducted by the Centre of Guidance and Counselling Service of Lambung Mangkurat University. The 126 samples were selected using a random sampling technique live in South Borneo. The results convey that 32 percent, 78 percent, and 58 percent of teenagers actively being peer-counselors at the age of 16 years, at the high school age, and when the pandemic started, respectively. A 40 percent of teenagers explain that they choose to be peer counselors because they like to help their friends, 53 percent of them feel to have a superior personality that supports them to be peer counselors, while 27 percent of them contemplate on things they can suggest to help their friends as peer counselors. Additionally, 54 percent of teenagers wish to attain peer counselors' skills that can command the counselees' thoughts. Thus, teenagers have given relatively significant contributions as peer counselors during the Covid-19 pandemic. Abstrak: Guna melaksanakan tugas perkembangan dengan optimal selama pandemi covid-19 yang berdampak pada kesehatan mental dan kondisi psikososial, remaja perlu pendampingan. Salah satunya adalah pendampingan dari teman sebaya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendapatkan gambaran mengenai bagaimana remaja menjadi konselor sebaya di masa pandemic covid-19. Penelitian kuantitatif ini menggunakan desain survei-deskriptif. Populasi penelitian merupakan seluruh peserta webinar pelatihan konseling teman sebaya yang diadakan oleh Pusat Layanan Bimbingan dan Konseling (PLBK) Universitas Lambung Mangkurat. Teknik penarikan sampel menggunakan teknik total random sampling yaitu sebanyak 126 sampel yang berdomisili di Kalimantan Selatan. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa 32 persen remaja aktif menjadi konselor sebaya pada usia 16 tahun, 78 persen mulai SMA/SMK, 58 persen mulai pada masa pandemi. Empat puluh persen remaja beralasan menjadi konselor sebaya karena merasa senang dapat membantu temannya, 53 persen merasa memiliki kepribadian yang unggul sebagai konselor sebaya karena terdorong untuk membantu, 27 persen memiliki pikiran apakah yang bisa saya sarankan kepada teman saya disaat menjadi konselor sebaya dan 54 persen ingin mendapatkan keterampilan sebagai konselor sebaya yang mampu mengendalikan pikiran konseli. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa remaja sudah berperan cukup baik menjadi konselor sebaya di masa pandemik covid-19.

Abstract

Abstract: The pro-social behavior is one of the contributing factors to students’ success in developing society’s healthy social interaction. This study aims to investigate the correlation between students’ collective well-being and gratitude with their pro-social behavior during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study involved eighth grader students of junior high school students. This study used a quantitative approach with a correlational research design. The samples were selected using the total sampling of 201 students, while the data were garnered through the students’ well-being, gratitude, and pro-social behavior scales. The scales were constructed using the Likert scale, distributed online through Google Forms. The data analysis was carried out using product correlation moment through Microsoft Excel and SPSS version 26. Our results showed a positive and significant correlation between students’ well-being with their pro-social behavior, positive and significant correlation between gratitude and pro-social behavior, as well a positive and significant collective relation between students’ well-being and gratitude with their pro-social behavior during the COVID-19 pandemic. Abstrak: Perilaku prososial merupakan salah satu faktor yang berkontribusi terhadap keberhasilan siswa dalam mengembangkan interaksi sosial yang sehat di masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara student well-being dan gratitude secara bersama-sama dengan perilaku prososial di masa pandemi Covid-19 pada siswa kelas delapan sekolah menengah pertama. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian korelasional. Teknik penarikan sampel menggunakan total sampling dengan mengambil seluruh siswa kelas delapan sejumlah 201 orang siswa. Pengumpulan data menggunakan skala student well-being, gratitude dan perilaku prososial. Skala dikembangkan menggunakan skala Likert, yang dibagikan secara online melalui Google Forms. Analisis data menggunakan korelasi product moment dengan bantuan Ms. Excel dan SPSS versi 26. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan positif dan signifikan antara student well-being dengan perilaku prososial; hubungan positif dan signifikan antara gratitude dengan perilaku prososial; serta ada hubungan positif signifikan antara student well-being dan gratitude terhadap perilaku prososial subjek di masa pandemi Covid-19.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru Bimbingan Konseling dalam menggunakan Alat Ungkap Masalah (AUM) sebagai instrumen analisis kebutuhan di Sekolah Dasar Islam Terpadu Ukhuwah. Dalam konteks kegiatan, fokus diberikan pada Sekolah Dasar Islam Terpadu Ukhuwah sebagai unit analisis. Melibatkan seluruh guru bimbingan dan konseling, atau total 7 peserta di Sekolah Dasar Islam Terpadu Ukhuwah, kegiatan pengabdian ini menggunakan metode ABCD (Asset, Building, Connecting, Development) yang mencakup identifikasi aset, peningkatan kapasitas, pembangunan jaringan, dan pembangunan berkelanjutan, dilaksanakan pada tanggal 13 Desember 2023. Teknik bimbingan interaktif dan Focus Group Discussion (FGD) digunakan untuk memberikan pemahaman mendalam tentang AUM, sementara observasi praktek dilakukan untuk mensimulasikan penggunaan AUM secara efektif. Analisis statistik deskriptif dan uji t-statistik menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata total pemahaman guru dari 35.86 menjadi 45.86 setelah kegiatan, dengan selisih post-pre yang signifikan secara statistik. Hasil pre-test menunjukkan pemahaman peserta yang memadai, namun setelah bimbingan teknis, terjadi peningkatan signifikan dalam pengetahuan, pengalaman, dan kesiapan peserta. Kontribusi kegiatan pengabdian ini terlihat pada perbedaan sebelum dan sesudah kegiatan, mendukung literatur dan praktik bimbingan konseling di Sekolah Dasar Islam Terpadu Ukhuwah. Kesimpulan menunjukkan bahwa bimbingan teknis AUM efektif meningkatkan kualitas layanan bimbingan konseling dan penggunaan AUM sebagai alat yang lebih efektif di sekolah. Implikasi praktisnya mencakup peningkatan kualitas layanan bimbingan konseling di Sekolah Dasar Islam Terpadu Ukhuwah.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of the Professional Learning Community (PLC) on the quality of learning in Nusantara Capital Buffer Schools (IKN). A mixed-method approach, combining qualitative and quantitative elements, was employed to understand the phenomenon comprehensively. The results indicate a significant improvement in learning outcomes, as evidenced by the increase in the average post-test score (70) compared to the pre-test score (48.75). The PLC program provided a platform for teachers to collaborate, share insights, and develop effective strategies to address learning challenges. Furthermore, implementing the PLC fostered a more supportive school environment, making students feel more comfortable and engaged. The findings underscore the importance of enhancing and expanding PLC initiatives to improve students' academic and non-academic achievements. Practically, these results suggest that the PLC model can be a valuable tool for teacher development and improved student outcomes. Academically, this study contributes to the growing literature on collaborative learning environments and their role in enhancing educational quality.

Abstract

The importance of investing in the pedagogical skills development of teachers in educational institutions, especially in the Sekolah Polisi Negera Polisi Daerah Kalimantan Selatan, demonstrates a commitment to improving the quality of police education. Service activities are carried out through training in learning strategies for 75 Sekolah Polisi Negara teachers, focusing on improving teaching skills, student motivation, and teacher-student interactions. The results show a significant increase in support for cognitive and metacognitive strategies after training. The importance of these results lies in creating a more effective learning environment and higher student motivation at Sekolah Polisi Negara. The results of the learning strategy training for teachers at Sekolah Polisi Negara show a positive impact on improving the quality of police education, emphasizing the importance of investing in the pedagogical skills development of teachers to create a better learning environment.Pentingnya investasi dalam pengembangan kemampuan pedagogik guru di lembaga pendidikan, terutama di Sekolah Polisi Negara Polisi Daerah Kalimantan Selatan, menunjukkan komitmen untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan kepolisian. Kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan melalui pelatihan strategi pembelajaran untuk 75 guru SPN, dengan fokus pada peningkatan keterampilan mengajar, motivasi siswa, dan interaksi guru-siswa. Hasilnya menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam dukungan terhadap strategi kognitif dan metakognitif setelah pelatihan. Pentingnya hasil ini terletak pada penciptaan lingkungan pembelajaran yang lebih efektif dan motivasi siswa yang lebih tinggi di SPN. Hasil pelatihan strategi pembelajaran bagi guru di SPN menunjukkan dampak positif dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan kepolisian, menegaskan pentingnya investasi dalam pengembangan kemampuan pedagogik guru untuk menciptakan lingkungan pembelajaran yang lebih baik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan hasil evaluasi program layanan Bimbingan dan Konseling (BK) pada alumni SMKN 3 dan SMKN 4 Banjarmasin pasca implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif komparatif dengan data dari 188 alumni yang dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner terstruktur. Analisis data menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan antara kedua sekolah, di mana SMKN 4 Banjarmasin memiliki hasil evaluasi yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan SMKN 3. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa layanan BK yang lebih adaptif dan terstruktur memberikan dampak positif terhadap kesiapan karier alumni. Penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya evaluasi berkelanjutan dan peningkatan kualitas layanan BK di sekolah kejuruan untuk mendukung kesiapan kerja lulusan di era Kurikulum Merdeka.

Abstract

Makalah ini dimaksudkan untuk menjelaskan tentang meningkatkan planned happenstance skills dalam perspektif Al Qur’an surah Al Balad dari ayat 1 hingga ayat 20. Konsep planned happenstance skills percaya bahwa perilaku manusia merupakan produk dari pengalaman belajar yang tersedia dalam situasi terencana dan tidak terencana. Dalam ajaran Islam semua perilaku manusia tertumpu pada keyakinan bahwa segala sesuatu sudah merupakan rencana Allah, manusia hanya dituntut untuk mencoba dan kemudian mengembalikan hasil dari upaya tersebut kepada Allah. Dalam skema enam prinsip yang dapat diterapkan konselor untuk meningkatkan planned happenstance skills yang dikemukakan Krumboltz, surat Al Balad dapat menjadi alternatif alur yang unik dengan: (1) Menekankan mempercayai kehendak Allah, ayat 1-4; (2) Mengambil hikmah terhadap apapun yang telah terjadi, ayat 5-7; (3) Konseli didorong untuk bersikap fleksibel dalam menanggapi kondisi yang terjadi, ayat 8-10; (4) Konselor menerima umpan balik konseli, ayat 11-16; (5) Konseli dapat menafsirkan setiap hubungan komunikasi secara efektif, ayat 17-18; dan terakhir (6) Memastikan konseli menjalankan keseluruhan alur secara maksimal dan utuh, ayat 19-20. This paper is intended to express the increased planned happenstance skills based on Al Qur'an Surah Al Balad from verses 1 through 20. Planned happenstance skills believe in human behavior is the product of many learning experiences available by planned and unplanned situations. In the teachings of Islam everything is based on the belief that everything has been planned by Allah, man is required to be able to try and then return the results of such efforts to Allah. In the scheme of six counselor lines increasing the planned happenstance skill offered by Krumboltz, the Al Balad surah can be a unique alignment alternative with: (1) Emphasis to trust Allah, verses 1-4; (2) Taking wisdom on what has happened, verses 5-7; (3) The counselee is encouraged to be flexible in response to the circumstances, verses 8-10; (4) Counselors receive counselee feedback, verses 11-16; (5) The counselee can interpret every communication relation effectively, verses 17-18; and lastly (6) Ensure the counselee runs the overall flow as a whole and safely, verses 19-20.

Abstract

This study explores the impact of rapid technological developments on digital literacy in early childhood, which is an important key in facing change. Research highlights Telegram's role as an increasingly popular communications platform in educational contexts. The use of channels such as @EDUFESS proves their effectiveness in increasing students' digital literacy through information exchange and discussion. Based on the results of a preliminary study at SDN Alalak Utara 1 shows that students' use of gadgets has not been optimized for positive activities, while their literacy level is still low. This is one part that needs to be addressed by the role of guidance and counseling in schools which is also related to the 4 areas of guidance and counseling, namely social, learning, personal and career. The research was conducted using the Action Research approach method which focuses on implementing intervention strategies consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages through the use of digital media with research subjects as grade 5 students. The results of the T-Test conducted showed that the use of Base Telegram had an impact which is positive in training students' digital literacy ____________________________________________________________________Studi ini mengeksplorasi dampak pesatnya perkembangan teknologi terhadap literasi digital pada anak usia dini yang menjadi kunci penting dalam menghadapi perubahan. Penelitian menyoroti peran Telegram sebagai platform komunikasi yang semakin populer dalam konteks pendidikan. Penggunaan channel seperti @EDUFESS membuktikan efektivitasnya dalam meningkatkan literasi digital siswa melalui pertukaran informasi dan diskusi. Berdasar pada hasil studi pendahuluan di SDN Alalak Utara 1 yang menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan gadget oleh siswa belum dioptimalkan untuk kegiatan positif, sementara tingkat literasi mereka masih rendah. Hal ini merupakan salah satu bagian yang perlu dibenahi oleh peran bimbingan dan konseling di sekolah yang juga berhubungan dengan 4 bidang BK yakni sosial, belajar, pribadi dan karir. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode pendekatan Action Research yang berfokus pada penerapan strategi intervensi yang terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi melalui pemanfaatan media digital dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas 5. Hasil dari Uji-T yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan Base Telegram memberikan dampak yang positif dalam melatih literasi digital siswa.

Abstract

This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) evaluation model in assessing Guidance and Counseling (GC) services within the Merdeka Curriculum at Vocational High School 3 and Vocational High School 4 in Banjarmasin. A quantitative method with a comparative approach was employed. Data were collected using questionnaires completed by students from both schools, and the data analysis involved a t-test to examine differences between the schools. The findings revealed that Vocational High School 4 achieved higher evaluation scores across all CIPP components compared to Vocational High School 3 Banjarmasin. Significant differences were observed in the context, input, process, and product components, with p-values <0.05. These results indicated that GC services at Vocational High School 4 Banjarmasin were more effective in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum. The study concluded that the CIPP model is an effective evaluation tool for identifying the strengths and weaknesses of GC service programs. The implications of this research suggest that improvements in the input and process components could enhance the quality of GC services at Vocational High School 3 Banjarmasin.
