Abstract

Actinomycetes are Gram positive bacteria that have been detected in diverse ecological niches. Their member species are known to be a main source of various bioactive compounds. The discovery of Actinomycetes from diverse and unexplored resources has also been linked to increased opportunities to obtain novel bioactive compounds. Insect nest material is being investigated as a new source of novel antimicrobial producing Actinomycetes, which could be harnessed for therapeutic potential. A total of 10 Actinomycetes isolates were collected from the nest of Nasutitermes sp. in Pananjung Pangandaran Nature Reserve. These isolates were evaluated for antimicrobial activity against the challenge bacteria (Eschericia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus subtilis, Serratia marcescens) and fungi (Fomitopsis palustris, Fusarium oxysporum, Trichoderma viridae) by dual culture method. The result revealed that several isolates were active against fungi and bacteria. Isolate Pn-TN2 showed the highest level of antibacterial inhibition and the highest antifungal inhibition with Inhibition Rate value more than 80%. By morphological and 16S rRNA gene sequence analysis strongly suggested that the isolate Pn-TN2 belonged to Streptomyces prasinopilosus. We suggested that termite nest is a potential source of bioactive strains of cultivable Actinomycetes for future biotechnological needs.

Abstract

The outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic does not only affect physical health aspects but also hurts mental health. One of them is self-confidence, which is found in students of class VIII at SMPN 25 Banjarmasin as many as 30, 92% of the 152 students identified as experiencing a crisis of self-confidence. The method used is collaborative-consultative, involving guidance and counseling teachers at SMP Negeri 25 Banjarmasin. The service subjects were 5 students of class VIII SMP Negeri 25 Banjarmasin. The activity is carried out in four stages of the meeting, namely the stage of explaining the concept and planning of coping strategies, the stage of formulating behavioral activities that must be stopped/controlled, the stage of implementing the formulation of the planned behavior activities. The results obtained were that coping strategies were very successful in helping to overcome the crisis of self-confidence during the Covid-19 pandemic. To support the consistency of positive self-confidence behavior that is formed, the counselee members are given directions to encourage each other and develop the confidence that has been obtained to continue to be consistent in a positive way and develop other aspects of positive behavior.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui variasi jenis perilaku menyimpang pada siswa di MI Nuruddin I Banjarmasin yang bertempat tinggal di sekitar pelabuhan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian kali ini yaitu pendekatan kualitatif dan jenis penelitian adalah dengan mendeskriptif fenomena yang ada, dimana peneliti mendeskripsikan suatu fenomena perilaku menyimpang siswa di MI Nuruddin I Banjarmasin. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara yang diperkuat dengan observasi dan dokumentasi. Jumlah responden ada 5 orang yakni Wali Kelas, Guru Mata Pelajaran, Siswa, dan Orang Tua Siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan jenis perilaku menyimpang siswa di MI Nuruddin I Banjarmasin adalah perkelahian, berkata kotor dan kasar atau mengolok-olok, membuat keributan, memalak, merusak barang milik teman, merusak fasilitas sekolah, tidak menaati peraturan sekolah, membolos, perilaku menyimpang ini tergolong kategori primer.Kata kunci: Perilaku Menyimpang, Kategori Perilaku Menyimpang, Siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the perceptions of school partner guidance teachers on students from the Lambung Mangkurat University guidance and counseling study program who take teaching practices in schools based on the four competencies of the Permendiknas Number 27 of 2008 concerning standard academic qualifications and counselor competencies.. The research method used was simple descriptive with the formulation of a simple percentage analysis with 39 respondents from 14 partner schools. The results of the study place the professional competence of professional competencies as competencies that are considered the highest (64.6%) and the other three competencies are in the position of good category. Therefore, it is recommended that the Guidance and Counseling Study Program administrators together with school partner guidance teachers be able to improve the education process, because the results of this study actually show an overview of the educational process of guidance and counseling.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengkaji kebutuhan layanan bimbingan dan konseling bagi siswa SMP yang terkategori generasi Z. Dasar dari penelitian untuk menganalisis kebutuhan layanan bimbingan dan konseling sebagai dasar bagi pengembangan program bimbingan dan konseling yang didasarkan pada empat bidang layanan yakni bidang pribadi, sosial, belajar, dan karir. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah siswa SMP dari 5 sekolah menengah pertama yang berasal dari 5 kecamatan kota Banjarmasin. Dari direncanakan diambil 35 orang dengan total 175 orang siswa, namun yang mengembalikan instrumen hanya 163 orang siswa dengan teknik pengumpulan data cluster sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bidang pribadi 93% menduduki urutan pertama, disusul oleh karir 89%, diikuti sosial sebanyak 87%, dan terakhir ditutup belajar sebanyak 78% sebagai bidang yang paling dibutuhkan dalam pelayanan bimbingan dan konseling. Hasil penelitian merekomendasikan agar dapat menjadikan penelitian ini sebagai dasar untuk melakukan pengembangan program bimbingan dan konseling. __________________________________________________________The purpose of this study is to examine the need for guidance and counseling services for junior high school students categorized as Z generation. The basis of the research is to analyze the needs of guidance and counseling services as a basis for developing guidance and counseling programs based on four service areas namely personal, social, learning, and career. The population of this research is junior high school students from 5 junior high schools from 5 districts of Banjarmasin city. Of the planned 35 people taken with a total of 175 students, but only 163 students returned the instrument with cluster sampling data collection techniques. The results showed the private sector 93% ranked first, followed by career 89%, followed by social as much as 87%, and finally closed as much as 78% as the most needed field in guidance and counseling services. The results of the study recommend that this research be used as a basis for developing guidance and counseling programs

Abstract

Workshop koordinasi penyamaan persepsi penilaian Praktek Pengajaran di Sekolah (PPS) Program Studi Bimbingan dan Konseling Universitas Lambung Mangkurat dilakukan dengan tujuan menyamakan persepsi guru bimbingan dan konseling sebagai guru pamong terhadap pelaksanaan penilaian praktikum mahasiswa bimbingan dan konseling. Kegiatan workshop dilaksanakan sehari yakni pada tanggal 23 Agustus 2019, dengan jumlah peserta workshop 24 orang guru bimbingan dan konseling. Secara teknis pelaksanaan workshop berlangsung dalam dua agenda kegiatan utama yakni: penyampaian materi dan curah pendapat. Pelaksanaan kegiatan workshop dilakukan dengan mempertemukan pihak Program Studi Bimbingan dan Konseling dan Unit Mikro Teaching Praktek Pengajaran di Sekolah Universitas Lambung Mangkurat dengan guru Bimbingan dan Konseling. Berdasarkan pelaksanaan pengabdian diperoleh pemahaman dan pengertian yang sama dalam memberikan penilaian kegiatan praktikum mahasiswa Program Studi Bimbingan dan Konseling di sekolah praktek.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the relationship between self-confidence and academic self-efficacy in students of the Lambung Mangkurat University Guidance and Counseling study program in 2018. The sample in this study amounted to 102 students. Data were collected using the academic self-efficacy scale and self-confidence scale, and analyzed using SPSS 20. Data analysis was performed using Pearson Corelation Product Moment analysis. The results showed that there was a relationship between academic self-efficacy and student self-confidence.

Abstract

Pelatihan teknik asertif ini bertujuan untuk mengurangi kecemasan siswa kelas X dalam berkomunikasi interpersonal di SMA Negeri 12 Banjarmasin dengan menggunakan pendekatan konseling individual. Setelah itu dilakukan pembagian angket terhadap 30 orang siswa kelas X berdasarkan hasil observasi tak berstruktur maka didapat data 1 orang siswa memiliki kategori yang sangat tinggi sehingga perlu diberikan pendekatan konseling individual. Pelaksanaan pelatihan dilakukan selama 4 kali pertemuan. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa siswa telah berhasil mengurangi kecemasan sosial, berdasarkan hasil pengamatan tak berstruktur yang dilakukan oleh guru BK di SMA Negeri 12 Banjarmasin.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to test the validity and practicality of the REBT guidebook and to analyze the effectiveness of group counseling using the REBT approach. The type of research used is experimental with a pretest-posttest control group design. The instrument used in this research is the anxiety scale adopted from Max Hamilton, namely the Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HAM-A) and interviews. The sample in this study amounted to 10 people who were divided into 2 groups, namely 5 control groups and 5 treatment groups. The data analysis technique used to test the effectiveness used the Man Whitney test formula, while the validity and practicality test of the manual used the ideal criterion formula. The results showed that the REBT guidebook was valid and practical to use in the field based on an assessment by 2 expert test persons. Based on the Man Whiteney test, the result (0.046 < 0.05) means that group counseling with the REBT approach is effective for overcoming anxiety after the flood disaster. The results of this study should be further developed to be able to overcome anxiety that is not only for flood disasters but other anxieties.

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah perkembangan motorik halus anak dalam kegiatan melipat masih belum berkembang. Upaya dalam menyelesaikan masalah tersebut melalui pembelajaran menggunakan model picture and picture, direct instruction dan pemberian tugas. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui aktivitas guru, aktivitas anak dan hasil capaian perkembangan motorik halus anak. Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang dilaksanakan pada anak kelompok B3 RA Datu Abulung Banjarmasin dengan jumlah anak sebanyak 5 orang. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan model Padi dapat mengembangkan motorik halus anak pada kategori Berkembang Sangat Baik dengan persentase 100%.
