Abstract

Community Music Learning (CML) is music learning approach that is not tied to a music grade but rather to the musical skills possessed by the community. This is important given the number of music communities in the province of East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) which is so many and diverse. These communities include, (1) the church; (2) schools; (3) studio; and (4) the music community in the community. This fact is constantly being studied so that this year the Church Music Education Study Program (PMG), the State Christian Religious Institute (IAKN) Kupang conducted PKM in one of the communities that is considered representative of this theory and phenomenon. Total activities carried out as many as 25 activities for 2 months. This activity focuses on the development of musical competence in a wide range of aspects. Aspects related to music in this community are (1) dance; (2) theater; (3) psychology and counseling. The training activities have been carried out well. The PKM that has been implemented provides some input, including broad aspects of music can continue to be developed with various approaches. Another important thing is that continuous efforts are needed to be able to reach more communities in the province of East Nusa Tenggara (NTT).

Abstract

The high rate of physical disability is a trigger and spur in the development of research/research for people with disabilities to help with their daily activities, one of which is with a wheelchair. There is a sense of concern to see manual wheelchairs used daily by people with physical disabilities, especially with their abnormal hands and feet, so it becomes a problem in itself because they are quite tricky and tired of pedaling a manual wheelchair. This condition impacts their work productivity, thereby reducing their income/economy. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to manufacture electric wheelchairs belonging to two people with physical disabilities (i.e., belonging to Bagus and Huda). The ergonomics tests are carried out, including (a) Compatibility of the anthropometry of the user's body and the dimensions of the wheelchair, (b) Results of the user's postural analysis with RULA (Rapid Upper Limb Assessment) (c) Conformity of the dimensions of the wheelchair with the standard, and (d) Evaluation of the usability of the wheelchair based on observation. The results obtained for the Bagus electric wheelchair are from the anthropometric side. The popliteal height is longer than the distance between the seat and the footrest in the wheelchair. For Bagus to be more comfortable in using his wheelchair and for his legs not to be crooked (which will potentially cause more excellent musculoskeletal disorders), it is recommended that the distance between the seat and the footrest be extended. As for Huda electric wheelchairs, in general, they have been modified to adjust to the needs and conditions of Huda's body and make the design of Huda wheelchairs more ergonomic. However, the postural analysis showed that the forearm position was raised, and the hand was twisted when Huda operated the electric wheelchair controller. It is, therefore, recommended to lower the position of the controller in line with the wheelchair mount.

Abstract

The chassis is an important component car which functions to support the load on the vehicle and has a strong construction. The chassis, as the main support for all vehicle componentsy. Increased fuel use and rising global crude oil prices have encouraged research into energy saving cars with special designs that can reduce fuel consumption and pollutant emissions. The design process with variations in rollbar shape and variations in cross sectional shape with 6061 aluminum material using Autodesk Inventor 2024 software. After the design process is complete, stress analysis test stage is carried out to obtain analysis data, namely von misses stress, strain, displacement, safety factor. The results of the chassis design using concept B with a pipe cross-sectional shape and rollbar fillet model are more recommended, because it has better von Mises stress value and a better safety factor, besides that the concept B chassis design is easier in the assembly process with prototype type energy efficient car body.

Abstract

Tujuan dari sistem ini adalah untuk membaca berat yang terukur dari bentuk analog konvensional menjadi bentuk digital, sehingga diperoleh presisi yang tinggi dalam pengukuran dan kalibrasi.. Salah satu penerapannya adalah pemanfaatan Internet of Things (IoT) yang diintegrasikan dengan aplikasi web dan android untuk memantau penggunaan air minum dalam galon dan gas elpiji. Permasalahan yang sering muncul adalah sulitnya memantau sisa air minum dan gas elpiji yang digunakan di berbagai lingkungan seperti sekolah, kantor, dan rumah sakit. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, penelitian ini merancang sistem pemantau distribusi dan berat air galon dan tabung gas LPG berbasis internet of things yang dapat memantau sisa berat air galon dan gas elpiji secara real-time. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian prototipe yang teknik pengembangan perangkat lunak yang memungkinkan pengembang untuk membuat model awal dari aplikasi atau sistem yang akan dibangun. Sistem ini menggunakan sensor load cell 20Kg yang terhubung dengan NodeMCU ESP 8266, dan diintegrasikan dengan aplikasi web dan mobile. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa prototipe ini dapat berfungsi dengan baik dalam memantau sisa berat air dan gas elpiji, serta memberikan notifikasi otomatis kepada pengguna melalui WhatsApp. Monitoring smart digital scales dapat menggunakan mobile apps atau aplikasi android sehingga memudahkan monitoring, karena hasil pengukuran selalu real time. Sistem yang dikembangkan telah membuktikan bahwa sistem penimbangan elektronik digital dapat berbiaya rendah, miniatur, diskrit, dan dapat mengambil pembacaan yang akurat tanpa kesalahan.

Abstract

Retardasi mental adalah anak yang mengalami keterbatasan secara fisik, emosional, gangguan adaptasi sosial, penurunan intelektual, keterbatasan aktifitas dan partisipasi. Anak retardasi mental seringkali mengalami keterlambatan dalam perkembangan seperti keterlambatan berbicara, bersosialisasi dan gangguan berbahasa. Gangguan tidur pada anak retardasi mental mempunyai dampak negatif berupa perubahan suasana hati dan sulit mengendalikan emosional dan stress. Oleh karena itu pentingnya peran orang tua serta lingkungan dalam proses tumbuh kembang pada anak retardasi mental. Upaya yang dapat dilakukan adalah dengan memberikan edukasi kepada orang tua anak retardasi mental mengenai stimulasi tumbuh kembang dan emosional. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk menambah pengetahuan dan wawasan dalam memberikan stimulasi tumbuh kembang dan emosional khususnya pada anak retardasi mental. Pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan di Sekolah Luar Biasa (SLB) Tunas Harapan II Peterongan. Metode pelaksanaan yang dilakukan adalah memberikan edukasi mengenai stimulasi tumbuh kembang dan emosional pada anak dengan retardasi mental kepada orang tua wali murid. Hasil kegiatan didapatkan orang tua wali murid dapat mengikuti kegiatan dengan antusias dan terjadi diskusi serta tanya jawab. Setelah mengikuti kegiatan ini diharapkan orang tua wali murid mampu menerapkan pola asuh dengan memberi stimulasi tumbuh kembang dan emosional pada anak dengan retardasi mental.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) on brand image and consumer preference in the automotive industry, with a case study of motor vehicle consumers in Pontianak City. CSR is currently not only seen as a company's moral obligation, but also as a business strategy that can shape positive perceptions and create competitive advantages. This research uses a quantitative approach with a total of 100 respondents selected through purposive sampling technique. The research instrument was arranged in the form of a Likert scale closed questionnaire and analyzed by multiple linear regression. The results show that CSR has a significant effect on brand image and consumer preference, both directly and through brand image as an intervening variable. Brand image plays a strong mediating role, suggesting that consumer perceptions of corporate social responsibility shape loyalty and purchase intentions. Consumer preference is not only built through product features or price, but also through the emotional connection and social value built by companies through CSR programs. The implication of this study suggests that automotive companies in Pontianak and other regions make CSR a strategic part of brand management and market winning efforts. Consistent, authentic, and communicative CSR implementation can increase positive perceptions of the brand and strengthen the psychological bond between companies and consumers. Thus, CSR becomes an important element in modern sustainable marketing strategies.

Abstract

The purpose of this Community Service (PKM) is to be able to provide knowledge, skills and new ideas about building children's character through Art Education. Some of the activities that will be carried out are first, workshops on art education and its relation to children's character. Second, knowledge for teachers or educators of the importance of art education in elementary schools. Through music art education in elementary schools, it can increase the enthusiasm of students in learning and form good character. The method of implementing this PKM activity is the Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach where the process aims to learn in overcoming problems and fulfilling the practical needs of the community, as well as knowledge production, and the process of changing character. PKM with this approach can be said to be Transformative PKM. This is because it is a research process that is oriented towards empowerment and change. As an example of the method using the provision of music arts education materials, training and discussion.The results and outputs targeted by this service are that with Art Education training in schools, teachers and students will be motivated not to rule out Art Education as a secondary science but can be seen as an important science in the formation of children's character from an early age. This PKM activity in the form of seminars and workshops supporting art activities at SD GMIT 2 Kefamenanu was held on 30 May - 30 July 2022 with 30 participants. One way of developing this service is art education materials and the practice of music arts in the school environment whose existence can shape and improve children's character to become more skilled, innovative and creative. The PKM which was carried out at GMIT 2 Kefamenanu Elementary School, Kefamenanu City, North Central Timor Regency had a positive impact on the school, especially for educators. One of them is an initiative from educators to form art groups in schools. This is felt necessary by educators because through art groups in schools will shape the character not only for educators but also for students who study art. The art group that will be formed aims to foster a sense of liking and liking in educators and students for art. It is hoped that the art group formed can create a different atmosphere in schools such as fostering enthusiasm for educators and students in learning.

Abstract

Commercial airplane flights always follow the flight plan that was made, the flight plan was made by the pilot based on the existing airways. Airways connects airports with VOR/DME, where VOR/DME in flight are known as air navigation equipment. VOR/DME is needed by a pilot so that he does not lose direction so that the aircraft can fly to the destination airport. The HSI instrument provides visualization of bearing, course, from to and destination VOR/DME deviations. Information from HSI is information that the pilot uses to get to the next VOR/DME. The purpose of this research is to make an aircraft movement simulation software approaching VOR, a software development method using the Prototype model by looking at existing devices. Simulation and modeling are done by placing VOR/DME at latitude and longitude in accordance with the location on land, then modeling the location of VOR/DME using MapX4.5 map, air conditioned flight at the specified airport, HSI instrument is modeled using GL Studio, using language C # programming, Indonesian VOR/DME data and Indonesian airports are stored in Excel. The calculation results are then visualized on the HSI instrument, the instrument visualization results are compared with the Garmin Integrated Flight Deck (GIFD) Trainer, version 14.01 under the same conditions.

Abstract

This research explores the production of fiberglass composite materials using an open mold process with pressing, aiming to overcome the uneven surfaces often produced by the hand lay-up method. Conducted in the Mechanical Engineering laboratories of Universitas Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo (UMSIDA) and Politeknik Negeri Malang, the study tested specimens using tensile testing (ASTM D638 Type I) and flexural testing (ASTM D790), along with surface flatness measurement via a dial indicator. The research varied the number of fiberglass layers (2, 3, and 4) and the pressing duration (3, 4, and 5 hours). Tensile tests showed the best stress and strain with 2 layers of fiberglass and 3 hours of pressing, with the "hours" factor contributing 55.28% to true stress and 45.23% to true strain. Flexural tests indicated the best stress and modulus of elasticity with 4 layers of fiberglass and 4 hours of pressing, with the "hours" factor contributing 31.48% to the modulus of elasticity. Optimal surface flatness was achieved with 3 layers of fiberglass and 4 hours of pressing, with the "hours" factor contributing 38.77%. Optimizing process parameters is essential for improving the quality of molded products and provides a foundation for developing a more efficient pressing method in future composite material production

Abstract

Penyandang disabilitas adalah bagian dari masyarakat yang memiliki hak yang wajib dihormati, dilindungi dan dipenuhi, termasuk hak mendapatkan pendidikan. Kampus inklusi berupaya mewujudkan pemenuhan pendidikan tinggi bagi penyandang disabilitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan situasi kontemporer penyandang disabilitas di lingkup perguruan tinggi Indonesia. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan telaah literatur, yang bekerja dengan memilih artikel melalui proses penyaringan pada tahun 2020-2021. Proses telaah dilakukan pada database online yaitu Proquest. Ada sepuluh artikel yang ditelaah yang sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi. Berdasarkan analisis dari artikel tersebut ada beberapa komponen tantangan dalam mewujudkan kampus inklusi. Pertama, pandangan masyarakat dan diskriminasi yang menilai bahwa prasyarat mutlak untuk mewujudkan visi hidup secara optimal adalah dengan memiliki kesempurnaan tubuh. Kedua, perlunya dorongan bagi pemangku kebijakan untuk memenuhi sarana, prasarana serta sumber daya manusia serta kebijakan dalam menyelenggarakan kampus inklusi. Ketiga, manajemen pembelajaran dan sumber daya manusia. Keempat, aksesibilitas layanan kampus yang ditujukan untuk melampaui prasyarat formal sebuah perguruan tinggi dalam menerapkan konsep kampus inklusi.
