Abstract

Individual companies exist because of the issuance of Law Number 11 of 2020 concerning Job Creation. The regulations added to the Limited Liability Company Law mean that all provisions contained therein also apply to individual companies as long as there are no special or excluded regulations, including regarding social and environmental responsibility. The problem arises regarding whether the scope of social and environmental responsibility also covers individual companies, which causes individual companies to be obliged to carry out social and environmental responsibilities and what kind of individual companies are obliged to do so. The research method used is a doctrinal method, through an approach to statutory regulations and concepts in law. The results obtained in this research show that individual companies are obliged to carry out social and environmental responsibilities as long as they meet the existing criteria and provisions. Apart from providing benefits to local people and communities, there are also benefits that companies obtain from carrying out social and environmental responsibilities, thus enabling individual companies to also have the urgency to get involved voluntarily. Considering the differences between Limited Liability Companies and Individual Companies, more specific regulations are needed regarding the implementation and supervision of the implementation of Social and Environmental Responsibility.Keywords: Social; environmental; responsibility; individual companies

Abstract

Pelatihan Psychological First Aid adalah program pelatihan yang dirancang untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan individu dalam pemberian dukungan psikologis kepada individu yang berada dalam situasi krisis atau traumatis. Berdasarkan hasil asesmen dengan menggunakan metode observasi dan wawancara di wilayah RW.006 Kelurahan Harapan Mulya banyak individu yang belum memahami Psychological First Aid dan cara menangani orang yang mengalami gangguan psikologis. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah memberdayakan para anggota karang taruna untuk menjadi penolong pertama ketika ada yang mengalami gangguan psikologis dan apabila terjadi situasi krisis di wilayah tersebut. Metode Pengabdian Masyarakat ini adalah dengan memberikan pelatihan Psychological First Aid yang diikuti oleh 20 anggota karang taruna. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi, terjadi peningkatan pemahaman dan kemampuan peserta yang setelah diberikan pelatihan. Hal ini menandakan terjadinya peningkatan pengetahuan dan kemampuan anggota karang taruna setelah pemberian pertolongan pertama psikologis

Abstract

The development of information technology provides easy access to information to customers so that speed and accuracy in service are needed. therefore technology-based Customer Relationship Management (CRM) is needed as good customer governance. LP3I Polytechnic the vocational universities that collaborates with many local and national company industry partners who working to improve graduate job placement services and fulfillment of human resources for company relations partners. but the problem managing many customers of company relations partners and graduates, form of trust that has been carried out not supported by good information system. The purpose of this research is the design and implementation of CRM through the Company Relationship Information System (SiRP) to improve the job placement services of LP3I polytechnic graduate vocational college. CRM system design method uses the SiRP prototype method, this method uses modeling tool, namely the UML. Design and implementation the CRM website application of SiRP prototype model is carried out in 4 stage where the communication stage, the SiRP application designed with UML and this system designs a system model in form of activity diagrams, use case diagrams and sequence diagrams. next at the Quick Plan and Modeling Quick Design stage as implementation of the system is designed for making user interfaces. The next stage is Construction of Prototype and Deployment Delivery & Feedback, which is the final stage for coding thoroughly and testing as the final stage of this pressman prototype method. Black box testing results in 100% usable for each module.

Abstract

The low resistance of wood as a frame material for traditional fishing boats against splashing sea water, humidity, and high-temperature fluctuations was studied in this study by adding coconut coir fiber to wood paint, where this mixture will become an anti-weathering composite material. To make compatibility between the fibers from coir which are water-absorbing (hydrophilic) and alkyd paints which are water-repellent (hydrophobic), the author gives special treatment to the coco fibers through an acetone pre-treatment process and hot alkali (hot alkali treatment) by soaking fiber in 10% high-temperature sodium hydroxide NaOH solution. Soaking in this solution is able to modify fibers that have a rough surface and reduce hydrogen bonding thereby improving the interfacial bond between the fiber and the filler in the composite. The results obtained were that the addition of fiber with a weight fraction of 3.40% to the alkyd paint matrix made the composite the most optimal anti-weathering coating.

Abstract

Introduction: The impacted tooth is a condition indicated by the tooth's failure to erupt into the jaw arch within the normal-expected time range. An impacted tooth is a probable cause for the dentigerous cyst. A dentigerous cyst is a fluid-filled sac of connective tissue, bordered by stratified squamous epithelium that forms around the crown of an unerupted tooth or denticle. This case report aims to define the radiography of an impacted maxillary central incisor accompanied by a dentigerous cyst via panoramic examination. Case and Management: A 22-year-old female was appointed to Soelastri Dental and Oral Hospital with complaints of ungrown teeth in the maxillary region of the mouth and discomfort during eating. There was no history of any systemic disease available nor the history of allergies. Panoramic Radiography Examination indicated an impacted tooth via the displayed radiolucency image of a dentigerous cyst lesion on the crown within the region of maxillary central incisors. Conclusion: A Dentigerous Cyst is formed due to fluid accumulation between the epithelium and the crown of an unerupted tooth. Proper panoramic radiography is imperative for an accurate diagnosis and efficient treatment planning.

Abstract

This study was conducted to analyze the relationship between profitability and environmental performance to carbon emission disclosure. The grand theory used is the theory of legitimacy and the theory of stakeholders. The research method used is quantitative with a descriptive approach. This study uses secondary data with the purposive sampling method; the sample of this study is 6 companies with a total of 30 data observed in the period 2019-2023. The results of this study show that (1) Profitability has a positive and significant effect on carbon emission disclosure; (2) Environmental performance has a positive and significant effect on carbon emission disclosure

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan menjelaskan penggunaan bahasa gaul di platform media sosial Instagram, khususnya di kalangan remaja perempuan berusia 18-20 tahun. Metodologi yang diterapkan adalah deskriptif kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan kuesioner. Data yang diteliti mencakup kata-kata, frasa, dan klausa yang mengandung istilah bahasa gaul dalam interaksi di Instagram. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa bahasa gaul terus berkembang seiring dengan kemajuan zaman. Perkembangan ini terlihat sangat pesat di berbagai platform media sosial, terutama Instagram. Penggunaan bahasa gaul dapat diamati melalui status, komentar, serta caption pada unggahan pengguna. Namun, fenomena ini dinilai kurang mencerminkan kecintaan terhadap bahasa Indonesia yang baik dan benar. Penggunaan bahasa gaul yang semakin meluas berpotensi mengikis penggunaan bahasa Indonesia yang tepat, khususnya di kalangan remaja perempuan usia 18-20 tahun. Situasi ini diperparah dengan maraknya penggunaan bahasa gaul oleh para selebritas di media massa, yang semakin mendorong remaja untuk mengadopsinya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Hal ini menimbulkan kekhawatiran terhadap kelestarian dan kualitas penggunaan bahasa Indonesia di masa depan, terutama di kalangan generasi muda.

Abstract

Background: Ischemic stroke is the primary cause of neurological disability and can lead to psychological issues that affect self-efficacy. Changes in self-efficacy, in turn, influence the overall quality of life. Although many studies have examined factors that affect self-efficacy, quality of life, or both, few have specifically explored the role of demographic factors in shaping the quality of life in patients with ischemic stroke. Objective: This study aimed to identify the correlations between demographic factors, self-efficacy, and quality of life Indonesian in patients with ischemic stroke. Methods: This study employed a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design. A total of 143 participants were recruited between February and April 2024 based on defined inclusion criteria. The research instruments included a demographic questionnaire, the Stroke Self-Efficacy Questionnaire, and the Specific Stroke Quality of Life Questionnaire. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, logistic regression, and Spearman rank test. Results: The findings revealed that females were 2.213 times more likely (95% CI = 1.128–4.341; p = 0.031) to achieve high self-efficacy compared to males. Occupational status significantly influenced self-efficacy, with employed individuals being 6.333 times more likely (95% CI = 3.134–16.599; p <0.001) to achieve high self-efficacy. The duration of stroke experienced by respondents also had a significant impact, with an odds ratio (OR) of 1.908 (95% CI = 0.980–3.715; p = 0.025). Additionally, occupational status significantly affected the quality of life, as employed respondents were 7.213 times more likely to achieve a good quality of life (OR = 7.213; 95% CI = 3.134–16.599; p <0.001). There was a significant positive correlation between self-efficacy and quality of life (r = 0.898, p <0.001). Conclusion: The results of this study provide valuable insights for nursing practice, emphasizing the importance of interventions to enhance patients’ self-efficacy. By increasing patients’ confidence in managing their condition, such interventions can lead to improved quality of life and better recovery outcomes. Strategies including health education, psychological support, and patient empowerment during rehabilitation are essential for strengthening self-efficacy and improving overall care outcomes. These findings highlight the need for healthcare professionals and families to address the psychological aspects of care in patients with stroke. Enhancing self-efficacy is critical in helping patients achieve a better quality of life and more successful recovery.

Abstract

Abstract: This research examines the role of spatial planning in preserving the environment in West Pasaman Regency. The main aim of this research is to evaluate how the implementation of spatial planning can support environmental conservation efforts. The method used is qualitative descriptive analysis with a case study approach. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, field observations, and analysis of spatial planning documents. The research results show that good and well-planned spatial planning can reduce pressure on natural resources and improve the quality of the living environment. However, challenges such as weak law enforcement and low public awareness are still the main obstacles. In conclusion, the integration of spatial planning policies that pay attention to environmental aspects is very crucial to achieving sustainable development in West Pasaman Regency. Keywords: Environment; Spatial; Continuity;   Abstrak Penelitian ini menelaah peran tata ruang dalam menjaga kelestarian lingkungan hidup di Kabupaten Pasaman Barat. Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi bagaimana implementasi tata ruang dapat mendukung upaya pelestarian lingkungan. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi lapangan, dan analisis dokumen perencanaan tata ruang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tata ruang yang baik dan terencana dapat mengurangi tekanan terhadap sumber daya alam dan meningkatkan kualitas lingkungan hidup. Namun, tantangan seperti lemahnya penegakan hukum dan rendahnya kesadaran masyarakat masih menjadi hambatan utama. Kesimpulannya, integrasi kebijakan tata ruang yang memperhatikan aspek lingkungan sangat krusial untuk mencapai pembangunan berkelanjutan di Kabupaten Pasaman Barat. Abstract

Saffron Dreams, written by Shaila Abdullah, is an intriguing work of fiction that tells the story of the harsh life of a Muslim woman from the East in America after the 9/11 tragedy. The double standards applied by America are not only limited to views of Muslims but extend to Eastern cultures as a whole. It is here that the Western perspective of the East, known as Orientalism, is portrayed as though the West is superior to the East. This study examines how American Orientalism and Postcolonialism influence and shape the identity dynamics of Arissa Illahi. This research employs a descriptive and qualitative method, using Edward Said's theory of Orientalism. The findings show that Arissa experiences various dynamics related to her identity, which is based on Islamic-Pakistani culture. Orientalism, within the context of American Postcolonialism, disturbs her identity as a Pakistani Muslim, leading to a series of crises and efforts at adaptation full of uncertainty. Arissa's character plays a crucial role as a representation of Muslim women, depicting the struggle of Eastern Muslim women fighting for their rights as human beings. Her struggle serves as a means of confronting Western Orientalist views, demonstrating solidarity with Muslim women from third-world countries living in America.
