Abstract

This research aims to analyze the understanding of basic economic concepts among people fourth grade students at SD Negeri 101801, especially regarding demand, supply and price. The research method used is descriptive qualitative through observation, interviews, and analysis of learning documents. The research results show that students have good understanding of the concept of price because of its relevance to everyday life day. However, understanding of the concept of demand and supply is still limited. Most students understand demand as a desire to buy, but not yet able to relate it to price factors critically. Meanwhile, in the offer concept, Students have difficulty understanding the relationship between price and quantity of goods offered. This research highlights the importance of more interactive economic learning and contextual to increase students’ understanding of economic concepts base.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi berbagai jenis lumut yang terdapat di Kecamatan Namorambe, serta memahami perbedaan dan kegunaan masing-masing jenis lumut. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif komparatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui survei dan dokumentasi. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Kawasan Kecamatan Namorambe, Kabupaten Deli Serdang, Sumatera Utara, pada tanggal 2 Mei 2024. Pengamatan dilakukan dengan melakukan eksplorasi lumut di seluruh Kawasan Namorambe hingga Kecamatan Sibolangit. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan variasi yang signifikan pada jenis lumut yang tersebar pada berbagai substrat. Beberapa jenis lumut seperti Entodon seductrix, Parmelia pastillifera, Fagus sylvatica L., dan Cercidiphyllum magnificum telah ditemukan di lokasi berbeda. Perbedaan jenis lumut ini terutama terlihat dari segi morfologi dan warnanya. Setiap jenis lumut memiliki manfaatnya masing-masing, seperti sebagai tanaman hias dan berperan menjaga kelembaban tanah, mengurangi erosi, serta membantu siklus unsur hara dengan menguraikan bahan organik.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of social media on student consumer behavior in purchasing MSME products. Using a quantitative survey-based method, data were collected through an online questionnaire involving 30 Economic Education students as respondents. The results of the analysis show that social media significantly influences student consumer behavior, contributing 35.2% to the variability of their consumption behavior. Social media, such as Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook, are used by MSME actors to market products through visual content, reviews, and endorsements that attract students' attention. This study recommends increasing digital and financial literacy for students, as well as more educational marketing strategies from MSME actors.

Abstract

Reproductive and maternal health in female farmers, especially those exposed to pesticides, is an urgent issue in Indonesia. Pesticide exposure during agricultural activities can cause disorders in the reproductive system, pregnancy, and fetal development. This study aims to analyze the relationship between cholinesterase levels (an indicator of pesticide exposure) and erythrocyte indices (including Hb, MCV, MCH, and MCHC) in female farmers working in vegetable farming areas in Agam Regency, West Sumatra. A total of 33 female farmers divided into two groups, namely the pesticide-exposed group (17 people) and the control group (16 people), were used as research samples. The results showed that the group exposed to pesticides had lower cholinesterase levels than the control group, with a significant difference. In addition, there was a significant relationship between decreased cholinesterase levels and decreased MCHC and increased risk of anemia in the exposed group. This decrease in cholinesterase indicates the adverse effects of pesticide exposure on the hematological system, which has the potential to cause complications in reproductive health such as menstrual disorders, infertility, and pregnancy complications. Therefore, this study provides important evidence regarding the need for better health screening for female farmers in agricultural areas. Routine monitoring of cholinesterase levels and erythrocyte indices can be an effective preventive measure in protecting the reproductive and maternal health of women working in the agricultural sector.

Abstract

ASI eksklusif adalah pemberian ASI tanpa makanan tambahan seperti susu formula, sari buah ataupun madu, pada bayi usia 0-6 bulan. ASI Eksklusif bukan hanya merupakan makanan terbaik untuk bayi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pendidikan dan pengetahuan ibu tentang ASI eksklusif dengan sikap terhadap pemberian ASI Eksklusif di Puskesmas Silangit Kecamatan Siborongborong Tapanuli Utara. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah survey analitik dengan desain cross sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua ibu menyusui di Puskesmas Silangit Kecamatan Siborongborong Tapanuli Utara. Jumlah ibu menyusui sebanyak 30 responden dengan teknik total sampling. Analisa data dilakukan secara univariat dan bivariat. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan pendidikan dengan sikap ibu terhadap pemberian ASI eksklusif dengan p-value = 0,040 (p<0,05) dan ada hubungan pengetahuan ibu tentang ASI eksklusif dengan sikap ibu terhadap pemberian ASI eksklusifdengan p-value = 0,001 (p<0,05). Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah ada hubungan pendidikan dan pengetahuan ibu tentang ASI eksklusif dengan sikap terhadap pemberian ASI eksklusif di Puskesmas Silangit Kecamatan Siborongborong Tapanuli Utara. Diharapkan penelitian ini menjadi bahan referensi untuk pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan dengan meningkatkan akses informasi kesehatan mengenai pentingnya pemberian ASI eksklusif.

Abstract

Bullying merupakan salah satu permasalahan sosial yang dapat mengganggu perkembangan psikologis dan akademik siswa sekolah dasar. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa tentang bahaya Bullying, membangun empati, dan mengembangkan keterampilan komunikasi positif di lingkungan sekolah. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif melalui ceramah interaktif, diskusi, ice breaking, dan studi kasus sederhana. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada 19 Juli 2025 di SDN 006 Kelurahan Tanah Merah Samarinda Utara dengan melibatkan 120 siswa dari kelas 1–6. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi dari peserta, terlihat dari keaktifan dalam diskusi dan kemampuan menjawab pertanyaan terkait Bullying. Kegiatan ini berhasil meningkatkan kesadaran siswa akan pentingnya saling menghargai dan berani bersuara ketika menghadapi perilaku Bullying.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of product packaging on consumer purchase intention of Salwa’s egg snack, a traditional product sold in Medan, Indonesia. Packaging plays a crucial role in capturing customer attention and building brand perception. This research uses a quantitative method by distributing questionnaires to 31 respondents who have purchased the snack more than once. The results show that attractive and informative packaging significantly impacts purchase intention. The t-test result (t = 8.991 > t-table 2.048) confirms a positive and significant relationship. The regression equation Y = 12.205 + 1.025X further indicates that packaging improvements lead to increased interest. Findings suggest that enhancing visual design and adding product information such as nutrition facts and expiry date can strengthen consumer trust and increase repeat purchases.

Abstract

This analysis applies a descriptive qualitative approach based on how to obtain data using comprehensive interviews with business owners, as well as record keeping related to raw material costs and overhead costs. The Full Costing calculation includes a total of all raw material costs of Rp 928,400 and overhead costs of Rp 727,622, resulting in a Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) per unit of Rp 18,000.24 and a net profit of Rp 2,010,978. Meanwhile, the Variable Costing approach simply considers raw material costs as variable costs, resulting in a Cost of Goods Sold per unit of Rp 10,091.30 and a net profit of Rp 2,738,600. The analysis that has been conducted reveals that the Variable Costing approach produces a higher profit signal because it does not consider overhead costs in the cost of goods manufactured. Therefore, the Variable Costing approach is assumed to be more accurate to be applied to MSMEs such as Noen Cookies that implement a pre-order system, experience fluctuations in production volume, and have relatively simple financial records.

Abstract

This study examines the role of company reputation as a mediator in the broad influence of CSR website disclosure on company business performance. The sample consists of non-financial public companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2017-2021. Sampling was done using a purposive method and obtained 775 firm-year samples. Sources of research data come from the company's annual report, the company's website, and the Eikon Refinitive Datastream. Hypothesis testing using SEM-PLS with WarpPLS 7.0 software. This study's results indicate that corporate reputation's role mediates the broad influence of CSR website disclosure on corporate business performance. The result shows vary. The results of this study have implications that CSR website disclosure must be used as a long-term strategy that is in line with POJK regulation no. 8/POJK.04/2015. Furthermore, regulators can increase regulations regarding what areas must be disclosed on the CSR website.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of fermentation time on the electrical voltage, acidity (pH), and solution volume of apple, mango, and starfruit extracts as natural electrolytes in electrochemical cells. The fruit extracts were fermented using baker's yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae) for five days at room temperature, with measurements of electrical voltage, pH, and volume on days 1, 3, and 5. The results showed an increase in electrical voltage over fermentation time, with the highest value in starfruit (0.9 Volt, pH 2, final volume 140 mL). The decrease in pH and solution volume during fermentation indicated an increase in acidity and ion concentration which strengthened the conductivity of the solution as an electrolyte. This study proves the potential of local fruit extracts as a source of environmentally friendly electrolytes for alternative energy based on bioelectrochemistry.
