Abstract

This study aimed at determining how does the standard process in English Learning at SMP Harapan Ibu Tanah Mas Banyuasin. This study was a qualitative using study case method. This study was done at SMP Harapan Ibu Tanah Mas Banyuasin with six respondents were the headmaster, assistant of the headmaster in curriculum, operator, administration staff, and two teachers of English. Data collection technique used in this study were interview, observation and documenting. The truthworthness in this study was using triangulation. The findings showed that (1) the implementation of standard process at SMP Harapan Ibu has done according to the national standart at the school which they still used the school based urriculum and curriculum of 2013; (2) the learning implementation has conveyed aaccording to the schedule of the school; (3) findings the differences implementation of using school based curriculum has been conveying in 7 and 8-1 class, and using curriculum of 2013 at 8-2, 9-1 and 9-2 class.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to identify and analyze: (1) distant learning at MAN 1 Muara Enim, and (2) academic supervision of remote learning during the covid-19 epidemic. This research employs qualitative methods with a descriptive approach. The study was conducted at MAN 1 Muara Enim, with data collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and a literature review with 64 instructors, two principals, and one Madrasah supervisor. The findings revealed that MAN 1 Muara Enim completed a series of good preparations, the academic supervision approach, which is typically done face-to-face, is now done remotely and is divided into two parts, manually verifying the lesson plan and synchronizing the online learning. This study contributes to the topic of Education Management, specifically academic supervision in sustaining teacher performance sustainability.

Abstract

This qualitative study analysed how learning management methods with Geogebra in mathematics are implemented, the roles of instructors and students in learning management strategies with Geogebra in mathematics, and the challenges encountered in learning management strategies with Geogebra in mathematics. The results showed that Mathematics instructors at SMA Negeri Sub Rayon 03 OKU Timur in South Sumatra have begun to experiment with using technology-based learning resources in the classroom. Mathematics instructors at SMA Negeri Sub Rayon 03 OKU Timur South Sumatra have an active part in learning management practices utilizing Geogebra. Students from SMA Negeri Sub Rayon 03 OKU Timur South Sumatra played an important part in the learning management approach using Geogebra, expressing their enthusiasm for learning mathematics with Geogebra.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to provide a description of the impact of leadership and work discipline on teacher’s job satisfaction at SMA PGRI 2 Palembang. A quantitative technique was used in the research. According to the findings of the study, partial leadership has a favorable and substantial impact on teacher work satisfaction at SMA PGRI 2 Palembang. Similarly, it is suggested that there is a favorable and significant impact of partial assessment of work discipline on teacher’s job satisfaction. The examination of leadership and work discipline at the same time has a good and significant influence on teacher’s job satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the leadership role of the principal in managing the boarding school dormitories at SMA N 3 Kayuagung. The research was conducted using a qualitative approach and data was collected through interviews, observation and document analysis. The results of the study show that the principal’s leadership has an important role in creating a conducive environment, managing resources, developing student coaching programs, and building collaboration with various related parties. The school principal is also responsible for ensuring adequate facilities and infrastructure as well as the welfare of students in boarding school dormitories. This research provides insight into the importance of principal leadership in managing boarding school dormitories and provides suggestions for further development at SMA N 3 Kayuagung.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and find out the role of the school principal in optimizing online-based learning at SMA Negeri 3 Kayuagung. Data collection tools using interviews, documentation, observation, and literature review. Data analysis used descriptive qualitative analysis with research stages referring to Miles and Huberman’s theory, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. The results of the study stated that the role of the principal in optimizing online learning at SMA Negeri 3 Kayuagung was carried out by 1) setting online learning standards; 2) building effective communication between teachers and parents; 3) improving teachers’ ability to manage online learning at SMA Negeri 3 Kayuagung. The obstacles encountered were the use of learning media and the limited methods used in the online learning process and the evaluation of learning outcomes. The solution taken is to, among other things, carry out teacher competence development in supervising and training online learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of learning media and interest in learning on student absorption in high schools in Tanjung Lubuk District. The sample size taken was 89 students in high school in Tanjung Lubuk District. The sampling technique was purposive sampling, where the respondents taken were some high school students in Tanjung Lubuk District. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires using a 5-point Likert scale to measure 73 statement items. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that there was an influence of learning media and learning interest on student absorption Second, the influence of learning media on student absorption Third, there was an influence of learning interest on student absorption.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Effect of the Independent Learning Curriculum and Teacher Performance on the Learning Outcomes of State High School Students in Kayuagung District. This type of research is quantitative research with research design using expost facto research design. The sample in this study is the total of all public high school teachers in Kayuagung sub-district. consisting of 121 teachers. Data collection techniques using questionnaires. Data analysis techniques use quantitative descriptive analysis techniques, and multiple regression. The results of this study stated that 1) there was a significant influence of the Independent Curriculum on the learning achievement of State High School students in Kayuagung District; 2) there is a significant influence on teacher performance on the learning achievement of public high school students in Kayuagung sub-district; 3) there is a significant influence together with the Independent Curriculum and teacher performance on the learning achievement of State High School students in Kayuagung District.

Abstract

The science laboratory is one of the facilities and infrastructure in schools that must be well maintained because it is the place where teachers and students carry out science learning activities through practicums. The characteristics of science learning include living and non-living objects, it is abstract, so it is very difficult for students to understand if the learning that takes place does not run optimally and efficiently. Practicum is an inseparable part of science learning subjects. Laboratories are needed as a place of learning to provide real experience to students as a supporting factor in implementing science learning. This research aims to identify and describe planning, management, management, movement, management, and supervision of science laboratories and obstacles in learning carried out by SMP Negeri 34 Palembang with descriptive research using a qualitative approach. The data in this research was obtained through observation, interviews with informants, and documentation as supporting data. This research can be concluded based on the results of the research. The management functions of laboratory management in science learning at SMP Negeri 34 are; The planning and management of the science laboratory has been carried out well, the organization of the management of the science laboratory has a laboratory organizational structure, the organizer of the management of the science laboratory has implemented the work plan well, and supervision of the science laboratory has been carried out by the school principal and supervisor through. Obstacles to implementing science laboratory management in student learning consist of Limited funds, laboratory managers who have multiple jobs, lack of management staff, lack of motivation, and lack of supervision by laboratory staff.

Abstract

A teacher’s professionalism is based on their unique competencies and skills in teaching science. High professionalism reflects their commitment to improving professional quality through various methods and strategies. Creativity in learning is essential for the teaching and learning process, covering cognitive, psychomotor, and affective aspects. Teachers must use appropriate media in learning to stimulate students’ thoughts, feelings, attention, and interest. In Lubuk Besar District, Central Bangka Regency, there is a lack of media and educational teaching aids, with many teachers lacking degrees and arriving late. Less varied teaching methods and an old learning paradigm result in passive knowledge delivery. This research focuses on Tk/Paud teachers in Lubuk Besar District, Central Bangka Regency, using quantitative research with a descriptive approach. The results show that learning media has a partial and significant effect on teacher professionalism, with a t value of 17.227 and a significance level of 0.000. Teacher competency also has a partial and significant effect on teacher professionalism, with a t value of 3.970 and a significance level of 0.000. In conclusion, learning media and teacher competency have a simultaneous and significant effect on teacher professionalism, with a t value of 17.227 and a significance level of 0.000.
