Abstract

Peningkatan jumlah penduduk di Indonesia menjadi salah satu factor kebutuhan sumber daya energi juga semakin meningkat. Energi listrik merupakan jenis energi yang paling banyak dibutuhkan dimana kebutuhan listrik di Indonesia mencapai 1.173 kWh/kapita pada tahun 2022. Sumber daya energi yang sifatnya terbatas seperti batu bara tidak bisa memenuhi kebutuhan listrik masyakarat Indonesia yang terus meningkat sehingga dibutuhkan sumber daya energi baru terbarukan yang persediaanya lebih banyak di alam. Pemerintah menargetkan penggunaan energi baru terbarukan ini melalui Perpres No.5 Tahun 2006 tentang Kebijakan Energi Nasional tahun 2006-2025 yang menjelaskan bahwa dalam pasokan energi harus dipenuhi 17% energi terbarukan. Bentuk energi baru dan terbarukan (EBT) yang tersedia di Indonesia diantaranya panas bumi, air, biomassa, dan energi surya. Untuk mendukung kebijakan pemerintah tersebut, perlu adanya penyebaran informasi terkait energi baru dan terbarukan kepada masyarakat umum maupun akademisi seperti mahasiswa maupun siswa. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan kajian terkait pemanfaatan sumber daya energi baru dan terbarukan di Indonesia yang dapat memberikan wawasan kepada seluruh lapisan masyakarat. Studi literatur melalui systematic literature review ini mengkaji tentang kebutuhan sumber daya energi di Indonesia, potensi, serta kelebihan dan kekurangannya saat di terapkan di Indonesia.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: An Merdeka curriculum requires students to be able to acquire scientific attitudes and process skills in science learning. Laboratory management is very important in supporting science learning. This research aims to analyze the management of science laboratories to support science learning. Methodology: This type of research is qualitative research using a systematic literature review method. The population in this study was 60 articles originating from Google Scholar with publications from 2018 to 2023 which were then filtered again and a sample of 18 articles was obtained. The data analysis technique uses the matrix method. Main Findings: Based on the results of a systematic literature review analysis, it is known that laboratory management in several schools has factors inhibiting laboratory management, such as the unavailability of laboratory personnel and technicians, multifunctional laboratory space, allocation of time for laboratory use, and lack of infrastructure in science laboratories. The conclusion in this research is that based on a review of literature studies, it is known that in the management of science laboratories in junior high schools, in some literature there are still inhibiting factors in its management. Novelty/Originality of this study: The novelty in this research is the existence of a literature study which discusses the management of science laboratories in supporting science learning.

Abstract

Kebijakan program Pusat Data dan Informasi (Pusdatin) Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Kemendikbud) Republik Indonesia atas bantuan kuota internet gratis mendapat respon positif dari publik. Dari data survei menunjukkan sebanyak 84,7% publik menilai program bantuan internet gratis merupakan langkah tepat menjawab sense of crisis di tengah wabah corona (Covid-19). Sementara itu, sebanyak 85,6% publik menilai bahwa program bantuan internet gratis meringankan beban ekonomi orang tua pelajar atau mahasiswa dalam membeli paket internet. Bahkan, ada sebanyak 63,2% publik mengaku puas dengan kinerja Pusdatin Kemendikbud RI dalam menyalurkan bantuan kuota internet.Adapun platform belajar yang paling sering digunakan mulai dari platform Google Clasroom (26,1%), Ruangguru (17,1%) dan Rumah Belajar (15,2%) menempati posisi tiga besar. Untuk penggunaan media video call dalam pembelajaran daring, mayoritas publik menggunakan aplikasi Zoom (57,2%), disusul Google Meet (18,5%) dan Cisco Webex (8,3%). Masukan dari publik terkait kendala program kuota internet gratis diantaranya: memperbaiki signal internet tidak stabil (23,8%), askes internet yang terbatas (16,0%), pembagian bantuan harus lebih merata (13,3%), jumlah kuota internet minim/kecil (9,3%) serta perlunya pengawasan penggunaan (5,1%).

Abstract

Pada dokumen kurikulum merdeka yang termuat di Surat Keputusan BSKAP Nomor 32 Tahun 2024 tentang Capaian Pembelajaran, dikatakan bahwa salah satu elemen sebagai bahan kajian pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila adalah Pancasila. Pancasila sebagai dasar negara memang layak untuk menjadi kajian utama Pendidikan Pancasila sebagai pendidikan kewarganegaraan di sekolah. Pemahaman guru yang benar, luas dan mendalam perihal kajian Pancasila akan mampu memberikan pembelajaran yang semakin bermakna tentang Pancasila dan diharapkan siswa semakin kuat untuk menerima dan mempertahankan Pancasila. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mendampingi guru Pendidikan Pancasila mengeksplorasi, mengeloborasi dan mengkonfirmasi secara benar tentang Pancasila. Metode yang digunakan adalah sosialiasi dan diskusi yang dilakukan dengan cara tatap muka (in service training) dalam bentuk kegiatan luring. Sasaran dari kegiatan adalah guru-guru Pendidikan Pancasila jenjang SMA yang tergabung di MGMP PP Kabupaten Semarang berjumlah 25 orang. Hasil dari pengabdian ini adalah guru-guru terlatih untuk mengeksplorasi dan kritis dalam mempertanyakan materi-materi ajar yang berkaitan dengan Pancasila.

Abstract

Based on its history, Surakarta is one of the oldest cities in Indonesia which has various cultural heritage and indigenous knowledge. These can be integrated as ethnoscience-based science learning in schools. One of indigenous knowledge in Surakarta is Keris, a sharp weapon with a curved or straight blade. This paper attempts to explore students understanding in connecting indigenous knowledge with science through ethnoscience e-module in science learning. This covers students understanding about local indigenous knowledge and its scientific explanation. This mixed case study contains a combination of quantitative and qualitative approaches. Quantitative data is obtained based on the questionnaire results of 125 students from 5 schools in Surakarta, while qualitative data is in the form of in-depth interviews of 5 students. The questionnaire results show significant impacts in increasing students understanding about local indigenous knowledge and its connection with scientific explanation. Then, the in-depth interviews indicates that students are happy and have interest in learning with ethnoscience. This paper also contributes to cultural preservation by providing indigenous knowledge as well as scientific understanding by linking culture with science.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: Ethnoscience has become a fairly well-established field among academics, although the topic is still developing. This study aims to analyze research trends related to ethnoscience published in the period 2014 to 2024. Methodology: This study uses bibliometric analysis and systematic literature review. Data collection was carried out by searching for the keyword "Ethnoscience" in October 2024. The data was sourced from the Scopus database and obtained 271 documents. 166 articles were obtained after filtering. Furthermore, analyzed using VOSviewer. Main Findings: The results showed that ethnoscience has increased significantly as a research topic from 2014 to 2021; ethnoscience in science learning is more widely studied in Indonesia. The author who researched the most ethnoscience is Sudarmin, with a total of 16 documents. This study also highlights the latest research approaching 2022–2024 and its impact on student skills. Novelty/Originality of this study: These findings also highlight the importance of ethnoscience in local and traditional studies and focus on the development of science and education.

Abstract

Introduction: The literature review study is motivated by the presence of physiological changes indicating a decline in balance and strength in the elderly, considering gender differences. This is attributed to the overall decline in various body systems, including balance and muscle strength, in the elderly. The decrease in muscle quality or strength in the elderly has implications for mobility. Methods: The literature review method was applied to five articles obtained from several databases, namely EBSCO, PubMed, and Springer Link. The search keywords for articles included stretching exercise, elderly balance, elderly strength, and resisted exercise for the elderly. The researcher used "AND" as the Boolean operator. Results: The findings of the literature review indicate that both static and dynamic stretching models, combined with resisted exercise for the lower extremities, have an impact on the balance and strength of the elderly, considering gender differences. Conclusion: The review articles revealed: 1) clinical physiological improvements; 2) increased strength in the elderly, and 3) enhanced balance in the elderly. Abstract

Creative thinking as one of the 21st skills is not only beneficial but also essential, particularly in learning sciences. Creative thinking equips them with the cognitive flexibility to devise innovative solutions, consider multiple variables, and approach challenges from diverse angles, fosters critical reasoning and imagination, and enhances student motivation and engagement within science classrooms. This paper will focus on investigating the implementation of creative thinking in learning sciences based on the articles published in national accreditation journals in Indonesia. The content analysis approach was applied, leveraging the method of scanning published research journal documents as its research method. This study is distinctive from previous research on creative thinking skills in several ways covered on all educational articles published from 2015 to 2024 in all Indonesian science education journals. This study revealed that in the last three years, the number of publications focusing on creative thinking skills has increased. The most dominant research is quantitative research with quasi experiment as the research design. Meanwhile, junior high school students, and 'biology' with the subject material of 'environmental pollution' were consecutively the subjects, science fields of study, and topics most chosen by researchers. Project Based Learning (PjBL), test sheet, and N-gain were the most frequently used as treatments, instruments, and data analysis methods, respectively. The review highlights the need to increase the use of qualitative and mixed-method approaches, explore the integration of local wisdom and ethnoscience through R&D, and focus on developing instructional products to enhance students’ low creative thinking abilities. Additionally, researchers are advised to clearly report their research instruments, including validity and reliability, and to select data analysis techniques that align with their research objectives and design.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hasil analisis awal kesenjangan antara teoritis dengan faktual terkait kemampuan guru di Sekolah Dasar dan analisis kebutuhan mengembangkan e-module berbasis Project-Based Learning (PjBL) yang mengintegrasikan pendekatan Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) terhadap kemampuan literasi digital dan keterampilan berpikir kreatif calon guru Sekolah Dasar (SD). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Research and Development (R&D) dengan studi analisis pada tahap awal model ADDIE. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan penyebaran kuesioner kepada 30 calon guru SD dan 3 dosen pengampu mata kuliah “Pengembangan Pembelajaran IPA SD”. Data yang didapatkan dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa pada indikator validasi kesenjangan kinerja, 53,33% responden masih kurang kemampuan literasi digital dan 56,66% calon guru SD memiliki keterampilan berpikir kreatif yang masih rendah, model perkuliahan yang sering digunakan 66,67% PBL dan 27,78% PjBL serta sisanya model lainnya. Pada indikator tujuan instruksional, 38,46% responden menyatakan video interaktif sebagai preferensi media pembelajaran dan diikuti 30,77% e-module sisanya adalah model dan strategi pembelajaran lainnya. Selain itu, 100% responden merasa perlu pengembangan media pembelajaran berupa e-module PjBl terintegrasi TPACK untuk memberdayakan literasi digital dan keterampilan berpikir kreatif. Secara analisis karakteristik SDM calon guru SD sudah mengenal berbagai macam teknologi, namun belum memahami secara maksimal dalam penggunaannya sesuai kebutuhan dalam menunjang literasi digital. Calon guru SD dengan rasa ingin tahu dan kemampuan yang lebih adaptif terhadap perkembangan teknologi menjadi keunggulan dalam menerima pengetahuan baru untuk diaplikasikan. Analisis sumber daya yang tersedia menunjukkan dalam hal konten, lebih dari 60% responden berpendapat bahwa tahapan literasi digital dan keterampilan berpikir kreatif telah diterapkan melalui metode atau media tetapi belum secara spesifik dan menyeluruh. Namun, di setiap awal perkuliahan para dosen telah tertib dalam menyampaikan RPS. Sedangkan pada aspek teknologi, seluruh responden (100%) menyatakan seluruh perkuliahan telah dilengkapi dengan sistem jaringan internet, dan ruang perkuliahan nyaman karena dapat menampung 30 – 40 mahasiswa pada aspek fasilitas instruksional. Temuan ini memberikan rekomendasi bagi peneliti untuk melanjutkan penelitian dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran berupa e-module PjBL terintegrasi TPACK untuk memberdayakan kemampuan literasi digital dan keterampilan berpikir kreatif calon guru Sekolah Dasar (SD).
