Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of the madrasah principal in improving the quality of learning in Madrasah Aliyah. The approach used is qualitative with descriptive study methods in several Madrasah Aliyah in region X. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation to obtain a comprehensive picture of the role of the madrasah principal in managing and facilitating the improvement of the quality of learning. The results of the study indicate that the madrasah principal has a central role in designing policies, motivating teachers, and supervising the learning process to ensure it runs effectively and efficiently. In addition, the madrasah principal plays a role in improving teacher competency through training and supervision, as well as building a conducive learning atmosphere for students. The conclusion of this study is that the success of improving the quality of learning is highly dependent on the leadership of the madrasah principal who is innovative, communicative, and able to manage resources optimally. This study contributes to the development of madrasah leadership theory and becomes an important input for policy makers in improving the quality of education in Madrasah Aliyah.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the language development of children aged 4–5 years through the implementation of the macro role-playing method at PAUD Karangsari III, Telukjambe Barat, Karawang Regency. The background of this research is the low expressive language ability among children, as indicated by limited vocabulary, difficulty in constructing sentences, and challenges in expressing desires and emotions. The study employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The research subjects where 15 children in Group A. Data were collected through observation, documentation, and assessments of language development. The results showed a significant improvement in children’s language abilities in terms of vocabulary, sentence structure, and the use of language in social contexts. These findings indicate that the macro role-playing method is effective in stimulating early childhood language development. Therefore, this method is recommended as a creative and enjoyable learning strategy in early childhood education.

Abstract

The implementation of technology-based learning is a crucial need to meet the demands of 21st-century skills, especially for elementary school-aged children who are required to have digital literacy, communication, collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking skills. As the educational paradigm shifts in the digital era, innovative learning models are needed to address the challenges of the times and optimize students' potential. The purpose of this study is to describe the process of implementing technology-based learning and analyze its contribution to developing 21st-century skills. This study used a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews with teachers and students, and document analysis related to the learning implementation. The results show that the implementation of technology-based learning in the school was able to improve students' digital literacy skills, teamwork, and critical thinking abilities. Teachers acted as facilitators who encouraged exploration, while students demonstrated increased learning motivation and active participation. This implementation also fostered independent learning habits and productive use of technology. The implications of this study emphasize that technology integration not only enriches learning strategies but also serves as an important foundation in shaping a generation that is adaptive, creative, and ready to face global challenges.
