Abstract

Effective leadership in the context of immigration management is an important element in achieving the country's goals of optimizing Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) and increasing progress in the immigration sector. This study explores the leadership role of Silmy Karim, a private figure who has responsibilities in the Directorate General of Immigration, by focusing on the influence of integrity and the spirit of defending the country in his leadership. The concept of learning by doing and the corporate management approach are also the focus in analyzing the strategies and principles applied by Silmy Karim. Through a qualitative approach, data was collected through interviews, observations and study of related documents. The research results show that Silmy Karim's leadership significantly influenced the increase in PNBP and progress in immigration management. Integrating the values of integrity and the spirit of defending the country in the performance of the Directorate General of Immigration is the key to achieving significant results. The implications of private leadership in the management of government agencies are also highlighted in the closing.

Abstract

This research aims to provide a deeper understanding of the urgency of the concept of National Defense in strengthening national identity and increasing the feeling of love for the country among the community. Apart from that, this research also aims to analyze the role and implementation of the National Defense program in the context of national integration, by identifying factors that support or hinder its success. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach to explore the concepts of National Defense, the spirit of nationalism, and national integration and to identify the relationship between the three. The concept of National Defense has high urgency in the context of national development in Indonesia. Through active community participation in National Defense programs, a collective awareness of the importance of loyalty, solidarity and national unity is created. Defending the Nation has a significant impact on increasing the spirit of nationalism among society. Through participation in National Defense activities, society can strengthen feelings of love and loyalty towards the homeland and foster solidarity and unity among citizens. Implementation of National Defense programs also has a positive impact in strengthening national integration. Through collaboration between citizens from various backgrounds, an inclusive and harmonious environment is created amidst cultural and ethnic diversity.

Abstract

National defense is a crucial aspect in maintaining the sovereignty, integrity and security of a country. This discussion reviews various aspects related to national defense, from concept to implementation in law and policy in Indonesia. The research method used is normative analysis of various legal documents and expert views related to national defense. The results of the discussion highlight the importance of integrating military and non-military defense in facing various developing threats. Inter-agency coordination, including through the National Defense Council, is considered crucial in formulating effective defense policies and strategies. In a political context, national defense is seen as the result of the political process and public policy. However, there is also the concept of legal politics which is the basis for determining the laws that apply in a country. In conclusion, national defense requires clear and structured regulations and the involvement of all elements of society to maintain stability and sustainability of defense. Continuous evaluation of the country's defense system is necessary to face the dynamics of ever-growing threats. National defense is an implementation of social contract theory which involves an agreement between citizens in society to protect their rights and obligations and ensure the harmony of interests. Every citizen has the right and obligation to participate in efforts to defend the country, both physically and non-physically, in accordance with the provisions of applicable law. Awareness of the importance of national defense, especially among the younger generation, needs to be increased to ensure their role in advancing the nation is optimal

Abstract

This research emphasizes the importance of digital literacy in strengthening national resilience and maintaining the nation's sovereignty in the digital era. Using qualitative analysis of secondary data, this research reveals that digital literacy involves effectively using technology and critically understanding and analyzing information. The method used in this research is a qualitative analysis of secondary data that includes regulations, policies, and initiatives related to digital literacy. The results show that digital literacy is essential in improving people's ability to use information and communication technology effectively and in understanding, analyzing, and using information critically to counter propaganda and fake news. The research also emphasizes the importance of integrating digital literacy education in the curriculum, learning programs, development of educational digital content, and related regulations. The study concludes that developing digital literacy programs that are inclusive and accessible to all levels of society is essential to strengthening national resilience.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the urgency of national defense education in the Society 5.0 era, with a focus on the challenges and opportunities faced. The research background reflects the importance of maintaining state sovereignty and building awareness of state defense in the midst of increasingly complex globalization. The research method used is a qualitative approach with document analysis and interviews as data collection techniques. The research results show that national defense education which is integrated into the citizenship education curriculum has an important role in shaping students' character and fostering a spirit of love for the country. The main challenge in its implementation is overcoming the influence of globalization which can damage national values. However, there are opportunities to optimize national defense education by utilizing developments in information and communication technology. In conclusion, state defense education is a vital aspect in maintaining state sovereignty and preparing the young generation as agents of change in the Society 5.0 era.
