Abstract

Desa Selokaton merupakan salah satu desa di Kecamatan Gondangrejo, Kabupaten Karanganyar, Provinsi Jawa Tengah. Secara administratif luas wilayah Desa Selokaton adalah 609,6035 Hektar. Desa Selokaton merupakan salah satu lokasi KKN Tematik pada Tahun 2022 dari mahasiswa UMS. Program kerja KKN Tematik 2022 UMS ini disusun berdasarkan koordinasi dengan pemerintah desa dan sasaran Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan (TPB) atau Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Program kerja tim KKN Tematik Desa Selokaton 2022 UMS meliputi: 1. Pengolahan Sampah, 2. Plangisasi dan Peta Kawasan, 3. Mengajar di Sekolah, 4. Taman Pendidikan Al Quran (TPA) dan Pembuatan Pojok Literasi, 5. Posyandu. Pengabdian pada masyarakat yang dilakukan pada awal bulan Maret-Juni 2023 ini merupakan kegiatan lanjutan dari kegiatan KKN Tematik dengan mengintegrasikan program kerja KKN Tematik setelah kegiatan KKN Tematik dilaksanakan dan dievaluasi maka perlu adanya tindak lanjut pengabdian. Dengan melihat realitas masalah yang ada salahsatunya adalah masalah sampah dan pengelolaanya, maka pengabdian ini dilakukan. Adapun program kegiatan adalah pembuatan kompos dan teknik budidaya ikan dalam ember plus aquaponik.

Abstract

The background of this activity is the gap between active craftsmen and new craftsmen. This is a concern for weaving actors/craftsmen in Barong hamlet, Kedungrejo village, Tanjunganom District, Nganjuk regency. If no action is taken, the weaving culture will become extinct. On the one hand, weaving is a cultural heritage that must be maintained and preserved, but on the other hand, weaving is a promising source of income. Carrying out training activities to improve human resources for these weaving craftsmen means that two goals can be achieved at once, namely preserving ancestral culture and improving the welfare of weaving craftsmen which will have an impact on the community in general. The method chosen in implementing this activity was to provide basic weaving training for beginners, which continued with training so that it was hoped that they could become proficient. This activity was carried out in Barong hamlet, Kedungrejo village, Tanjunganom District, Nganjuk regency. The result of implementing this activity was the growth of new craftsmen who started from beginners/laymen about weaving and are now able to increase family income through weaving crafts.

Abstract

Background: Aging is associated with degenerative changes, one of the physical changes experienced by humans is changes in the musculoskeletal system, where the joint disorder that is often experienced by the elderly is rheumatoid arthritis (RA). The impact of rheumatism on the elderly is not only in the form of obvious limitations in mobility and daily living activities, the management that can be done to overcome this is doing physical activity with rheumatic exercises. Purpose: This community service aims to increase knowledge about exercise for the elderly with rheumatism among the community, especially the elderly at the Japanese village posyandu, Mejobo subdistrict. Method: implementing this community service activity is by providing health education and rheumatic exercise practices to the elderly. Activities start from the planning, implementation and evaluation stages of the results of the outreach activities. Results: The results of this activity show an increase in health knowledge in the elderly through rheumatic exercises to treat rheumatoid arthritis pain, which is indicated by the audience being able to answer questions about the material presented and being able to practice the rheumatic exercises taught. Conclusion: The results of this community service have proven effective in increasing understanding about improving health knowledge in the elderly through rheumatic exercises to treat rheumatoid arthritis (RA) painK

Abstract

Background: Burnout is prolonged stress that is often experienced by nurses due to work fatigue. Nurses who experience burnout can cause fatal problems such as the risk of suicide in nurses, as well as a decrease in the quality of service for patients. One action that can be used to reduce burnout symptoms is autogenic relaxation. Objective: This research aims to determine the effectiveness of autogenic relaxation measures on nurse burnout. Method: The research method used is pre-experimental design with one group pretest-posttest design. The total sample was 22 respondents. Autogenic relaxation was carried out once every day for 1 week in the morning with a duration of 20 minutes. Data collection used observation sheets, autogenic relaxation SOPs, the Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI) instrument. Statistical analysis uses the Wilcoxon Rank Test. Results: This research shows that autogenic relaxation is effective in reducing nurse burnout with p-value of 0.000 for emotional exhaustion, 0.000 depersonalization, 0.000 personal accomplishment.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan implementasi pendekatan balanced literacy serta faktor pendukung dan penghambatnya dalam pembelajaran membaca dan menulis di kelas II sekolah dasar. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain deskriptif. Subjek penelitian meliputi guru kelas II, siswa, dan kepala sekolah yang dipilih secara purposive. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model analisis interaktif Miles, Huberman, dan Saldaña. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa balanced literacy telah diterapkan melalui kegiatan membaca nyaring, membaca terbimbing, dan menulis mandiri yang mendorong partisipasi siswa. Namun, kegiatan membaca bersama, menulis bersama, dan asesmen awal belum terlaksana secara konsisten sehingga pembelajaran berjenjang belum optimal. Faktor pendukung meliputi motivasi siswa, komitmen guru, dan fasilitas literasi kelas, sedangkan keterbatasan waktu dan perbedaan kemampuan siswa menjadi hambatan utama. Penelitian ini berkontribusi dengan memberikan gambaran empiris implementasi balanced literacy di kelas rendah serta menegaskan pentingnya konsistensi strategi dan penguatan asesmen formatif dalam pembelajaran literasi awal

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kepercayaan diri dan kreativitas siswa kelas V SD Negeri Sanggrahan, Kota Surakarta melalui penerapan model pembelajaran problem posing dalam pembelajaran IPAS. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain deskriptif. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas guru kelas, 21 siswa, dan kepala sekolah yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam, dan analisis dokumen, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model interaktif Miles, Huberman, dan Saldana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan problem posing mampu menumbuhkan kepercayaan diri dan kreativitas siswa dalam membuat pertanyaan. Sebanyak 19 dari 21 siswa menyatakan lebih percaya diri ketika hasil pekerjaan mereka ditampilkan di depan kelas, dan 20 siswa merasa pemahaman materi meningkat. Kualitas pertanyaan yang dibuat siswa juga mengalami kemajuan, ditunjukkan oleh relevansi dan keterpahaman pertanyaan oleh siswa lain. Selama pembelajaran, siswa menunjukkan respons yang aktif dan antusias. Simpulan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa model problem posing efektif dalam meningkatkan kepercayaan diri dan kreativitas siswa, dengan catatan ketersediaan waktu belajar yang memadai sangat memengaruhi optimalisasi hasil pembelajaran.

Abstract

This research aims to apply learning methods in this modern era. Rapid technological developments have created a multitude of new developments, one of which is most relevant to today's lives. In this digital age, technology plays a significant role, not only for adults but also for children. Therefore, to provide a platform for children, who sometimes cannot yet distinguish between the positive and negative impacts of technological developments, close attention must be paid to the consumption period of gadgets and the choice of applications available on them. Focusing on this, many educational programs now also focus on learning experiences through gaming applications. The presence of technology not only facilitates access to information but also opens up new opportunities in learning methods. For the younger generation, especially students, technology has evolved into more than just a means of entertainment. Now, technology has become an interactive and engaging learning tool, motivating them to be more enthusiastic about exploring knowledge. In the context of language education, technology plays a crucial role in supporting the development of digital literacy, increasingly needed in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The use of games in education (Game-Based Learning or GBL) in 2025 is recognized as an effective method for creating active, interactive, engaging, and immersive learning experiences. One gaming platform that is very well-known and popular among children, teenagers, and perhaps even adults today is ROBLOX. Where in the game there are countless maps or game options that are fun and interesting and many there are also new learning tools. Roblox can be an effective educational tool because it hones creativity, logic, teamwork, and digital skills. Through game creation in Roblox Studio using the basic programming language Lua, and teaches subjects such as language, science, mathematics, and history interactively, although guidance is still needed to prevent addiction and ensure the educational content is age-appropriate for users. Because it is possible that in ROBLOX games there may still be some games that may not be age-appropriate for users and the impact of addiction to their use. Therefore, it is not only accepting and using, but also ensuring that what is currently developing can also be beneficial.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the monitoring mechanisms, obstacles encountered, compliance levels, influencing factors, and effectiveness of monitoring imports of shipped goods by the Soekarno-Hatta Type C Main Customs and Excise Office (KPUBC). The method used is qualitative descriptive with interviews conducted with eight informants, consisting of customs officials, academics, and importers. The results of the study show that supervision is carried out using a risk management approach, a selective system, and information technology. The main constraints are limited human resources and complex procedures. Compliance among service users has improved due to system transparency and regulatory education. Factors such as the professionalism of officials, clarity of rules, and past experiences also influence compliance. The effectiveness of supervision has been proven to encourage higher compliance. This study recommends strengthening the evaluation system, improving human resources, and simplifying procedures. Abstract

Abstract Economic empowerment of the community is a goal of the teachings including Islam and Christianity. In Islam, zakat serves as an obligatory form of worship with strategic socio-economic dimensions, as emphasized in At-Taubah:103. Meanwhile, in the Christian tradition, tithing is a religious obligation deeply rooted in the Old Testament (Leviticus 27:30–31) and continues to enjoy moral legitimacy in the New Testament. This article aims to analyze the concept and practice of economic empowerment through zakat and tithing, placing them within the framework of community economic empowerment. This research uses qualitative approach with a literature review method that emphasizes philosophical, theological, and conceptual analysis of primary and secondary sources. The results show that zakat contributes significantly to economic empowerment by increasing the independence of MSMEs, strengthening social institutions, developing business partnerships, and providing educational and business capacity development assistance. Meanwhile, tithing serves as a source of church funds with the potential to improve the economic welfare of congregations through business capital assistance, social infrastructure development, strengthening economic networks, and providing support to the congregation. These findings confirm that despite differing theologically and through distribution mechanisms, zakat and tithing share a common orientation: promoting the independence and well-being of the community.   Keywords: Economic empowerment, zakat, tithing, community welfare

Abstract

Digital transformation has become a key driver in the post-COVID-19 era for improving the competitiveness and performance of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), including the rapidly growing culinary sector in urban areas such as South Tangerang City. The development of digital technology—particularly social media and e-commerce—offers significant opportunities for culinary MSMEs to reach a wider market, enhance operational efficiency, and contribute to regional income growth. This study aims to analyze the influence of social media and technology implementation on the performance of culinary MSMEs and their contribution to the Pendapatan Asli Daerah (PAD) of South Tangerang City. The research employed a mixed-methods sequential explanatory approach, combining a quantitative survey of 150 culinary MSMEs with in-depth interviews involving business owners and local government officials. The analysis results show that the use of social media significantly enhances marketing and consumer interaction, while the adoption of digital technologies—such as the Qasir application, e-commerce platforms, and digital payment systems—has a dominant influence on improving operational efficiency, productivity, and business turnover. These findings confirm that the success of digital transformation among culinary MSMEs in South Tangerang is influenced not only by internal factors but also by digital literacy, infrastructure, and government policy support. This study proposes a conceptual model of the digital transformation of culinary MSMEs that contributes to business growth and strengthens the regional fiscal base through increasing Regional Original Income.
