Abstract

Supervision responsibility is one of the responsibilities that must be carried out by the principal as a teacher with additional duties at school. Therefore, this study aims to determine the implementation of these supervisory responsibilities to the principal of SMK Negeri 1 Pedan Klaten. This research was conducted in June 2024. The design used in this research is qualitative with interview techniques. Data were obtained from interviews with the head of SMK Negeri 1 Pedan Klaten and analyzed by qualitative descriptive method. Based on the analysis, it is known that the principal supervision program has been implemented in the school with procedures that are in accordance with the established supervision standards and the suggested supervision objectives are to improve the quality of learning in the school.

Abstract

Mathematics learning in elementary schools is still dominated by conventional methods such as lectures and the use of two-dimensional images, which do not support the development of critical thinking skills and students' spatial understanding. This challenge is increasingly relevant in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0, which demands the integration of technology in the learning process. This study aims to analyze the effect of the use of Augmented Reality (AR) on critical thinking skills and students' learning interest in learning spatial figures. The study used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method and a Nonequivalent Control Group design. The sample consisted of 60 elementary school students in Banjarsari District who were divided into an experimental group (using AR) and a control group (conventional method). Learning lasted for four weeks, with three sessions per week. The research instruments included a critical thinking test based on Ennis's indicators and a Likert-scale learning interest questionnaire. The results of the analysis using the Shapiro-Wilk and Mann-Whitney U tests showed a significant difference between the experimental and control groups in the critical thinking posttest scores (p = 0.0076). The increase occurred in the aspects of clarification, inference, and argument evaluation. In addition, students' learning interest in the experimental group also increased, indicated by active involvement and higher motivation. In conclusion, using AR effectively improves students' critical thinking skills and learning interests. The implications of this study indicate that AR technology can be an innovative alternative to mathematics learning. The contribution of this study lies in the development of technology-based learning strategies to support the 21st-century skills of elementary school students.

Abstract

The development of a web-based educational game for the teaching of Physical Education, Sports, and Health (Penjasorkes) represents an innovative approach aimed at enhancing student engagement and comprehension of fundamental soccer techniques, including passing, dribbling, and shooting. However, traditional methods in Physical Education classes often rely heavily on verbal instructions and textbooks, leading to low student motivation and limited mastery of basic techniques. This research employs a Research and Development (R&D) methodology based on the Alessi & Trollip model, which encompasses stages of planning, design, and development. The research subjects include media experts, content specialists, Penjasorkes teachers from high schools and vocational schools, and students as end users. The research involved two media experts, two content experts, three Penjasorkes teachers, and 93 students from high schools and vocational schools in the Boyolali region of Central Java. Data collection was conducted through observations and questionnaires, followed by qualitative and quantitative analysis. The alpha test results indicated a "very good" validation from experts and practitioners, with an average score of 89%, while the beta test conducted with students yielded an average score of 90%, demonstrating the feasibility and appeal of this media. These findings affirm that the web-based educational game can significantly boost student motivation and engagement, serving as a practical solution to the limitations of conventional learning media. Consequently, this educational game is not only pertinent to Penjasorkes instruction in high schools and vocational schools but also has the potential to serve as a model for the development of similar media in other educational contexts.

Abstract

The student service system at Universitas Sebelas Maret Surakarta (UNS), especially the print transcript of grades currently running, students can apply through three methods. The first method is done by filling out an application for a printed transcript. The second method is to use the Whatsapp application. The third method is done by using E-mail. Due to the large number of media used to apply for printed transcripts, the administrative unit of the study program cannot process all requests for print transcripts quickly. Sometimes there is a request to print a grade transcript that is not processed because the request data is overwritten with the new request data, so it is not readable by the study program administration unit. Based on the description of the background, it can be formulated that the problem to be solved in this research is "How to design a student service information system for printing transcripts in the Industrial Engineering study program of UNS". Limitations The problem that the author discusses in the study focuses more on the process of applying for transcripts of grades in the scope of the Industrial Engineering study program of UNS. The method used to design an information system for the print out of transcripts is using the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with the Waterfall model. The programming language used to design an information system for printing transcripts is PHP Native and MySQL database as data storage media. With the design of the information system for the application of printed transcripts, it is hoped that it can improve the quality of service to students, especially in the scope of the Industrial Engineering study program of UNS.

Abstract

The Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) in service activities for students requires consumables stored in the warehouse of the Faculty of Engineering, UNS. Every month a document recapitulation is carried out to control the circulation that occurs in the warehouse of the UNS Faculty of Engineering. The document recap system still uses the manual method, namely by recording incoming and outgoing goods to the ledger. Data from the general ledger is copied into the Microsoft Excel application to create a circulation report. The current manual system still has human errors that often occur, such as missing or tucked records of incoming and outgoing goods. This has an impact on when recapitulating the results of the information data obtained is less accurate. Based on the description of the background above, it can be formulated the problem to be solved in this study is "How to design an Information System for Recording Incoming and Outgoing Goods in the Warehouse of the Faculty of Engineering UNS". Limitations The problem that the author discusses in the study focuses more on the process of recapitulating incoming and outgoing goods data, as well as making reports on the circulation of goods within the UNS Faculty of Engineering. The method used to design an information system for recording goods data uses the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with the Waterfall model. The programming language used to design an information system for recording data items is PHP Native and MySQL database as a data storage medium. With the design of this item data recording information system, it is hoped that it will make it easier for the head of the warehouse in terms of ordering goods in accordance with the stock data in the warehouse of the Faculty of Engineering, UNS.

Abstract

Pembelajaran IPAS materi enam benua di sekolah dasar masih menghadapi tantangan signifikan dalam menciptakan pemahaman konseptual dan spasial yang mendalam pada siswa. Dominasi pendekatan konvensional berbasis ceramah dan buku teks terbukti kurang efektif dalam memfasilitasi pemahaman geografi yang bermakna, mengakibatkan rendahnya keterlibatan siswa dan kesulitan dalam memahami konsep spasial kompleks. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi tingkat awal pemahaman siswa terhadap materi enam benua, mengeksplorasi strategi implementasi media kartu kuartet, dan mengkaji dampaknya terhadap transformasi pembelajaran IPAS. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode studi kasus yang melibatkan 20 siswa kelas VI dan satu guru. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi pembelajaran, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi aktivitas menggunakan teknik triangulasi untuk memastikan kredibilitas temuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan transformasi signifikan dalam dinamika pembelajaran dimana media kartu kuartet berhasil mengubah paradigma dari teacher-centered menjadi student-centered yang interaktif dan kolaboratif. Temuan mengungkap bahwa siswa menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi, keterlibatan aktif dalam diskusi kelompok, dan kemampuan transfer kreatif konsep geografis yang sebelumnya tidak teridentifikasi. Fenomena tutor sebaya muncul secara spontan, menciptakan ekosistem pembelajaran regeneratif dimana setiap siswa bergantian menjadi pembelajar dan pengajar. Media kartu kuartet terbukti efektif sebagai katalis pedagogis yang memfasilitasi konstruksi pemahaman spasial melalui zona perkembangan proksimal dan menciptakan lingkungan pembelajaran inklusif.

Abstract

UMKM memiliki posisi yang sangat vital dalam menyokong perekonomian, hal ini ditandai dengan bertahannya sektor UMKM dari krisis ekonomi tahun 1997-1998 hingga pandemi COVID-19. Sektor UMKM sebagai instrumen perekonomian Negara maupun daerah dapat memberi dampak turunan (multiplier effect) pada pemerataan pendapatan yang berujung kepada penanggulangan kemiskinan yang mana hingga saat ini masih dihadapkan pada beberapa permasalahan seperti minimnya akses permodalan, kurang terampilnya kualitas sumber daya, kesulitan bahan baku hingga sulitnya memasarkan produk ditengah gencarnya serbuan produk-produk impor. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi digital marketing untuk meningkatkan pendapatan pelaku UMKM di Desa Sukorejo Kecamatan Malo Kabupaten Bojonegoro. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan atau RD (research and development). Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah UMKM sangkar burung di wilayah Desa Sukorejo sejumlah 8 UMKM. Teknik sampling yang digunakan yaitu purposive sampling. Minimnya pengetahuan pelaku UMKM tentang penggunaan e commerce dalam digital marketing menjadi salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi tidak digunakannya e commerce sebagai salah satu sarana digital marketing, para pelaku UMKM hanya melakukan pemasaran digital melalui media sosial namun belum pernah memasarkan produknya melalui marketplace, adanya prasangka para pelaku UMKM bahwa penggunaan digital marketing dalam pemasaran mereka adalah hal yang sulit dan mahal. Abstract

Public affairs programs have long aimed to advance public services. One of the programs that support public services is the Microsoft Word training program but it has received less attention so that the knowledge and skills of operating Microsoft Word are lacking. According to Government Regulation No. 56 of 2005, central and local governments are responsible for developing and utilizing advances in information technology to improve local financial management as well as the dissemination of local financial information to public services. The digitalization that has made its way into everyday life is also utilized by the private sector to gain current advantages by making it easier to provide services, which can be seen in various applications such as e-government and services. The private sector is also utilizing many of these technological advancements for profit. Digital technology is simply a very fast data processing system that can produce numerical values. Activities or series of activities that meet the service needs of every citizen and resident for goods, services, and/or administrative services provided by public service providers are defined as public services. Microsoft Word Training Program is one of the technological advancements to produce improved quality, capacity, and speed of data transmission. The whole process in real life is supported by digital data.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pertumbuhan pesat penggunaan media sosial dan aplikasi mobile, seperti Instagram, telah menciptakan peluang besar untuk memfasilitasi pemasaran digital bagi Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan sebuah program pendidikan dan pelatihan yang khusus mengenai penggunaan aplikasi mobile Instagram dalam upaya memfasilitasi pemasaran digital bagi UMKM. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, karena fokusnya adalah untuk mendeskripsikan secara lengkap tentang penyelenggaraan pendidikan dan pelatihan aplikasi mobile Instagram. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi dan wawancara. Ini dilakukan melalui studi literatur dan analisis kebutuhan UMKM terkait pemasaran digital, serta pengembangan program pendidikan dan pelatihan yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan tersebut. Program pendidikan dan pelatihan yang dirancang mampu memberikan pemahaman mendalam tentang strategi pemasaran digital menggunakan aplikasi mobile Instagram kepada UMKM, serta meningkatkan keterampilan dan pengetahuan mereka dalam memanfaatkannya secara efektif. Desain pendidikan dan pelatihan aplikasi mobile Instagram ini merupakan upaya yang efektif untuk memfasilitasi pemasaran digital UMKM, membantu mereka mengoptimalkan potensi media sosial dalam memperluas jangkauan pasar dan meningkatkan daya saing bisnis.

Abstract

In current learning, the use of information technology is a major need, one of which is the use of YouTube media. The use of information technology in the form of learning videos from YouTube can have an impact on interaction abilities and communication patterns during the learning process. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of using YouTube media in improving interpersonal communication for elementary school age children at Publict Elementaru School Karangdinoyo 2 Sumberrejo Bojonegoro. This research uses a quantitative approach and the research method used is quasi-experimental with a One Group Pretest-Posttest Only Design research design, namely that the experimental group and control group were not chosen randomly and only the experimental class received treatment while the control class received no treatment. The sample in the experimental class was 25 people and the control class was 25 people. Data collection techniques use questionnaires Likert scale model. The data analysis technique uses the t test. The results of the t test calculations found t count t table, (3.16 2.01) so it can be concluded that YouTube media is effective (influential) in improving interpersonal communication for students at Publict Elementaru School Karangdinoyo 2.
