Abstract

This community service program aimed to increase adolescents’ knowledge and awareness regarding the prevention of early marriage through short films and health education counseling in Sidorejo Village. The activities were carried out using educational film screenings, delivery of reproductive health materials, and interactive discussions with participants. The program was implemented as planned and received a positive response from the community, as evidenced by active participant engagement and support in providing facilities and infrastructure. The results indicated that adolescents gained a better understanding of the economic, social, and health impacts of early marriage. In addition, low economic conditions were identified as a major contributing factor to early marriage in Sidorejo Village. The evaluation results suggest the need for similar follow-up programs to be conducted periodically, with expanded target groups, particularly involving parents of adolescents, given their crucial role in family education and decision-making. Overall, this program is expected to contribute to efforts to promote marriage age maturity and improve adolescents’ reproductive health awareness in the community

Abstract

: This community service program aims to contribute to improving the image of the educational sector through efforts to prevent and address various social issues that frequently occur in educational settings and society, particularly bullying, sexual violence in schools, and intolerance. The implementation method employed educational approaches, socialization, and community empowerment by involving relevant stakeholders. The results indicate that bullying behavior has complex root causes, including peer influence, family environment, and individual social status, with significant negative impacts on victims’ physical and mental health. Bullying prevention efforts can be carried out through the wise use of technology, the cultivation of compassion values, the avoidance of discriminatory attitudes, socialization through creative media, and the enforcement of strict regulations. Furthermore, sexual violence in the school environment is a critical issue that requires serious attention, as schools should be safe spaces for students. Continuous preventive education and the establishment of special task forces within schools are considered essential to ensure student safety. Intolerance in society was also identified as a factor that can potentially lead to conflict and disrupt social harmony. The proposed solutions include internal efforts through community empowerment and the active role of religious and community leaders, as well as external efforts through government support, law enforcement, and the utilization of social media as an effective and accessible tool for disseminating messages of tolerance. This community service activity is expected to serve as a reference for creating safe, inclusive, and equitable educational and social environments

Abstract

This study was conducted based on the problems that occurred in group B of early childhood children who were categorized as having low child independence. Therefore, this study aims to increase the independence of children in group B. The method that is considered to be able to provide an increase in children's independence is by using role play. This study uses a classroom action research method conducted at RA Baitun Najah. Data collection is carried out through observation by paying attention to the observation indicators of children's independence. The results of this study using the role play method were carried out in two cycles, so that the role play method was carried out by paying attention to the conditions of children in group B of RA Baitun Najah. So that when this learning cycle was carried out as many as two cycles, it can be concluded that the use of the role play method provided a significant increase in the effect of Children's Independence in Pre-Cycle: 38.5%, Cycle I: 64.25%, Cycle II: 84.75%.

Abstract

The practice of poetry reading skills of eighth grade students based on aspects of pauses, pronunciation, intonation and expression and factors that influence poetry reading skills in students. This study aims to determine how the results of poetry reading skills practice in eighth grade students and factors that influence students' poetry reading skills. The research method used in this study is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques used are observation, tests, interviews, documentation, and online data searches. The practice of reading poetry students got the highest score in the pause aspect with an average score of 77.3 and the lowest average score in the expression aspect, namely 36 because students lack understanding in the expression aspect. This is influenced by several factors, namely internal factors and external factors through the results of a questionnaire given to 25 students containing 10 statements, especially in terms of self-confidence, understanding the meaning of poetry, interest, and environmental support shown by a high percentage of "inappropriate" answers to several important statements, such as self-confidence when performing in front of the class (60%), the habit of practicing at home (44%), understanding the meaning of poetry (48%), and low school environmental support (56%). Overall, improvements are needed in students' internal aspects (interest, motivation, and reading habits) and external aspects (support from teachers, friends, and the school environment) to support optimal poetry reading skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis persamaan latar belakang Habiburrahman El Shirazy (Kang Abik) dan Emha Ainun Nadjib (Cak Nun) melalui pendekatan sosiobiografis, kultural, religius-humanistik, stilistika, dan naratif. Keduanya merupakan figur sastra kontemporer Indonesia yang lahir dari lingkungan religius Jawa, berakar pada tradisi pesantren, serta mengalami proses pembentukan intelektual melalui pergaulan lintas budaya yang luas. Meskipun berbeda medium ekspresi Habiburrahman melalui novel bernuansa dakwah dan Emha Ainun Nadjib melalui puisi serta esai kritis keduanya memperlihatkan kesinambungan visi spiritual, kepedulian sosial, dan etika humanistik yang kuat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif-deskriptif dengan analisis wacana sastra dan pendekatan stilistika-naratif. Data penelitian meliputi karya utama kedua penulis, studi dokumentasi, serta penelitian terdahulu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesamaan latar biografis dan kultural melahirkan orientasi estetik dan naratif yang serupa, seperti penggunaan simbol religius, eksplorasi cinta transenden, kritik sosial berbasis moralitas keagamaan, serta penokohan yang menekankan perjalanan spiritual. Simpulan penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa konstruksi identitas religius dan budaya Jawa menjadi fondasi yang menyatukan kedua tokoh dalam kerangka sastra Islam modern di Indonesia
