Abstract

Kata kunci: resiliensi, subjective well-being, mahasiswa difabel

Abstract

Stunting problems need to be detected early so that the interventions given can reduce long-term effects. One of the reasonable periods to detect the risk of stunting is pregnancy. Ironically, there has not been an instrument to detect the risk of stunting since pregnancy. This study aims to develop and test the validity of an instrument for early detection of stunting risk since pregnancy (SIDIK SIAMA). Instrument development uses the seven stages of development from Roberth DeVellis (2017). A total of 20 women were involved in pre-testing, and 100 pregnant women were involved in instrument testing. Based on a literature search, 28 articles were used to construct the item pool and produce 10 items to be tested for validity and reliability. Content validity uses the content validity index (CVI) and construct validity used principal component analysis (PCA). Alpha Cronbach is used to test the reliability of the instrument. The validity test results showed that there were 9 valid and reliable items, with a CVI of 1 and a Measure of Sampling Adequacy (MSA) value of less than 0.5, and a Cronbach Alpha value of 0.682. Thus, the SIAMA SIDIK instrument has achieved good validity and reliability so that it can be used to detect the risk of stunting since pregnancy.

Abstract

In various professions, work is often faced with pressure and risk from every task and responsibility undertaken. The same thing also happened to ODGJ caregivers when carrying out their duties. It becomes a challenge for caregivers to provide optimal services and assistance to ODGJ, which must be interpreted joyfully. Regardless of the role, as a caregiver, you must form good self-resilience to carry out your duties. Therefore, this study aims to determine the relationship between resilience and happiness in ODGJ caregivers. The method used is a quantitative correlation. A total of 35 ODGJ caregivers became participants through the snowball sampling technique. The measurement uses a resilience scale and a happiness scale. The study's results showed a significant positive relationship between resilience and happiness in caregivers of ODGJ (r = 0.499 and sig. = 0.001). This indicates that resilience is one of the factors related to the increased happiness experienced by ODGJ caregivers in carrying out their duties and responsibilities.

Abstract

Social media is a means of digital-based self-exploration, and the formation of personality traits such as neuroticism. Excessive use of social media, based on a strong neuroticism trait, can cause individuals to experience social media fatigue. This study aims to determine the relationship between neuroticism trait personality and social media fatigue in early adulthood. The method used is a quantitative correlational design. The number of participants involved was 136 early adults using social media, obtained using an accidental sampling technique. The scale used in this research is big five inventory (α=.890) to measure neuroticism trait personality and the social media fatigue scale (α=.934) to measure social media fatigue. The data analysis method uses the product moment correlation test from Karl Pearson. The results showed that there was a significant positive relationship between neuroticism trait personality and social media fatigue in early adulthood (r=.361 and sig.=.000). This indicates that the neuroticism personality trait is a factor that can cause social media fatigue in early adulthood. Training and forming a healthy personality by maintaining emotional stability can help the process of self-exploration in social media so that they can complete developmental tasks properly as early adults.

Abstract

Students with disabilities face challenges in their daily lives due to their limitations. This often causes them a lot of stress, as they have to adapt to an environment dominated by non-disabled students. To deal with this difficult situation and maintain their survival, students with disabilities need to have abilities that can support them, namely resilience. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between gratitude and resilience in students with disabilities. This study used a quantitative method with a correlation design. The sample of this study consisted of 108 students with disabilities obtained by purposive sampling technique. Measurements were made using the Indonesian Gratitude Scale (Skala Bersyukur Indonesia (SBI)) (a=0.88) and The Connor-Davidson Resilience scale (CD-RISC) (a=0.92). Data analysis used Karl Pearson's Product Moment method, and found a correlation coefficient between gratitude and resilience of 0.316 with a significance of 0.000 (p<0.01). The results showed a significant positive relationship between gratitude and resilience in students with disabilities. This shows that gratitude is a factor that plays a role in increasing the resilience of students with disabilities. The implication of this study is the importance of students with disabilities having gratitude that can help them adapt and thrive in difficult situations. It is hoped that future research can use different variables or different subjects to broaden understanding in this field.Top of Form

Abstract

Experiencing pregnancy problems as an adolescent is not easy in everyday life. Likewise, Timornese adolescents who are pregnant out of wedlock have to accept the condition of extramarital pregnancy with various impacts. Therefore, forgiveness is needed in Timornese adolescents who experience pregnancy out of wedlock to improve their subjective well-being, so that they can get through and live their lives. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between forgiveness and subjective well-being of Timornese adolescents in NTT who are pregnant out of wedlock. The research method used was quantitative correlation. A total of 104 Timornese adolescents who are pregnant out of wedlock were used as participants in this study using purposive sampling technique. The scales used in this study were Transgression-Related Interpersonal Motivations (TRIM-18), Satisfaction with Life Scale (SWLS), and Positive Affect Negative Affect Scale (PANAS). The results of the Pearson Correlation hypothesis test value is -0.157 with sig.=0.056 (p>0.05), which means that the hypothesis is rejected. This indicates that forgiveness is not one of the factors associated with subjective well-being in Timornese adolescents who are pregnant out of wedlock. This means that when there is an increase or decrease in forgiveness, there is no relationship with subjective well-being.
