Abstract

This study examines the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in overcoming students' difficulties in Al-Qur'an literacy at the junior high school level. PAI teachers act as motivators, counselors, observers, facilitators, informants, and evaluators who actively support the learning process. Through regular guidance, the application of appropriate learning methods such as the Nderes method, and a personal and empathetic approach, teachers are able to help students overcome challenges in reading and writing the Al-Qur'an. Supporting factors such as a supportive curriculum, availability of learning media, teacher motivation, and family support strengthen the effectiveness of learning, while inhibiting factors such as lack of reading habits, low student awareness, and minimal family support pose challenges that need to be addressed. The positive impact of the PAI teachers' role is evident in the improved Al-Qur'an literacy skills of students, increased enthusiasm and self-confidence, as well as the strengthening of students' character and spirituality. In conclusion, the holistic role of PAI teachers, in synergy with various stakeholders, is crucial to the success of Al-Qur'an literacy learning and the formation of a faithful and morally upright generation.

Abstract

Education has a central role in shaping the foundation of the spread of Islam in Indonesia, with pesantren as a traditional educational institution that integrates religious and general knowledge. The pesantren functions not only as a center for teaching Islam, but also as a social institution that preserves the values of local culture and fosters the next generation of Islamic preaching. This research aims to examine the quality of students at the Daarul Ikhlash Islamic Boarding School Sangatta Selatan with a focus on the integration of the Islamic religious education curriculum and general education. Through a qualitative approach with a phenomenological design, data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation of the head of the pesantren, teachers, and students. The results showed that the integration of curriculum significantly improved the quality of santri, both in the aspects of spiritual, academic, skills, and character. The students are able to compete in the academic field while having a strong moral and religious foundation. Although there are challenges such as time management and the readiness of educators, this integration remains an important strategy in producing a generation of Muslims who are noble, knowledgeable, and ready to face global challenges. This study concludes that the integrative education model in pesantren makes a positive contribution to improving the quality of Islamic education in the modern era.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui mengenai bagaimana pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di SMK Negeri 2 Sangatta Utara serta bagaimana penerapan evaluasi berbasis tujuan dalam pembelajaran di SMK Negeri 2 Sangatta Utara. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian meliputi guru PAI, siswa, serta kepala sekolah sebagai pihak yang berperan dalam implementasi evaluasi berbasis tujuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran PAI di SMK Negeri 2 Sangatta Utara menerapkan dua pendekatan utama: pembelajaran terpadu dan pembelajaran berbasis teknologi. Pembelajaran terpadu memungkinkan siswa memahami materi secara holistik dengan menghubungkan berbagai disiplin ilmu, didukung teori konstruktivisme Piaget dan Vygotsky. Sementara itu, pembelajaran berbasis teknologi meningkatkan efektivitas belajar melalui platform digital, evaluasi interaktif, dan metode blended learning. Meskipun bermanfaat, tantangan seperti akses teknologi dan kesiapan guru masih menjadi kendala.

Abstract

This research focuses on the role of Qur'an and Hadith teachers' explanatory skills, the application of active student learning, and its implications. A qualitative approach with field research was conducted through observations, interviews, and document analysis in grade VII of MTs Insan Cendekia. The results show that the explanatory skills of Qur'an and Hadith teachers enhance student engagement and understanding in religious education. The application of active learning methods, such as group discussions, simulations, and the use of technology, makes students more engaged and better understand the material. This active learning increases student participation, deep understanding, motivation, and social skills, thereby improving the effectiveness of Islamic religious education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membahas 1) bagaimana implementasi manajemen pengelolaan kelas dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa di MTs Insan Cendekia, 2) Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pelaksanaan pengelolaan kelas dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa di MTs Insan Cendekia. Penelitian ini  memuat jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriftif.  Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa pelaksanaan pengelolaan kelas dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa di MTs Insan Cendekia dilihat dari dua ruang lingkup pengelolahan kelas yaitu pengelolahan kelas secara fisik dan secara non fisik. Pengelolahan kelas secara fisik yang dilakukan di MTs Insan Cendekia adalah dengan menyusun tempat duduk siswa dan guru, memberikan pencahayaan serta udara segar masuk kedalam ruang kelas dengan membuka jendela, memperindah ruangkelas dengan meletakan hiasan dinding, serta membersikan ruangan kelas setiap hari sesuai jadwal yang telah diberikan. Sedangkan pengelolahan kelas secara non fisik yang dilakukan guru MTs Insan Cendekia adalah dengan menjalin hubungan baik dengan siswa siswi, pada saat pembelajaran guru juga menyelipkan beberapa candaaan serta hiburan, mengajar dengan menggunakan suara yang tegas, jelas, intonasi yang sesuai serta bahasa tubuh, dan  pembagian waktu atau manajemen waktu  yang baik. Begitupula ada beberapa faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi pengelolahan kelas dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa MTs Insan Cendekia adalah 1) Kualitas dan kompetensi guru, 2) Lingkungan fisik kelas, 3) Pendekatan Individual, dan 4) Program Ekstrakulikuler.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginvestigasi implementasi program Training Dakwah dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan Islam santri di Pondok Pesantren Ibnu Sina Sangatta Utara. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif, yang memungkinkan untuk mendapatkan pemahaman yang mendalam tentang fenomena yang diteliti. Pendekatan kualitatif memungkinkan peneliti untuk menjelajahi kompleksitas implementasi program Training Dakwah serta dampaknya terhadap pengetahuan Islam santri secara holistik. Penelitian ini akan melibatkan observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam dengan pengurus pesantren, guru, dan santri, serta analisis dokumen terkait program training dakwah dan kurikulum pesantren. Data akan dikumpulkan melalui pengamatan langsung terhadap proses pembelajaran, interaksi antara guru dan santri, serta kegiatan ekstrakurikuler yang terkait dengan pengembangan training dakwah. Wawancara mendalam akan dilakukan untuk mendapatkan wawasan yang lebih dalam tentang persepsi dan pengalaman peserta terkait dengan program ini. Analisis dokumen akan mencakup penelusuran terhadap dokumen resmi pesantren, seperti rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP), materi pelajaran, dan evaluasi hasil belajar. Data yang terkumpul akan dianalisis secara tematik, dengan mengidentifikasi pola-pola, tema-tema, dan hubungan antar konsep yang muncul dari hasil observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen. Hasil analisis akan disajikan secara deskriptif, menggambarkan proses implementasi program training dakwah, faktor-faktor pendukung dan penghambat, serta dampaknya terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan Islam santri di Pondok Pesantren Ibnu Sina Sangatta Utara. Implikasi penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi dalam pengembangan program training dakwah di pesantren lain serta menyediakan wawasan bagi lembaga pendidikan Islam dalam meningkatkan efektivitas pendidikan agama dan pengembangan karakter peserta didik.

Abstract

Learning Implementation is a way of processing information through actions that occur between teachers and students either directly or indirectly. A teacher must have some basic teaching skills to run an efficient, entertaining, and more capable class and ensure that learning occurs at the highest level possible. Possible. Among the basic teaching skills that are important for a teacher to have, one of them is the skill in carrying out variations, where variation itself is a change in the activity process which aims to increase students' learning motivation, in order to reduce boredom and boredom. With the hope that the variety of learning processes provided will bring positive things to light for students in the field, providing variations in PAI learning at SMPN 6 Sangatta Utara shows that students can master the material in PAI subjects so that the results achieved can be maximized. For this reason, this research examines the implementation of skills in providing variations in Islamic Religious Education learning at SMPN 6 Sangatta Utara. The data collection method in this research was interviews, observation and documentation. Then the data was analyzed using the Miles and Huberman Model interactive analysis technique with data reduction, data presentation and data verification steps, and its validity was tested using the time triangulation technique. The results of the research show that the implementation of skills in providing variations in Islamic Religious Education subjects at SMPN 6 Sangatta Utara has been implemented well by Islamic religious education teachers during the learning process. Learning variations are carried out by teachers by holding various variations, such as: variations in teaching styles, variations in the use of teaching media, and variations in interaction patterns

Abstract

The relationship between teachers and students plays a crucial role in modern education, influencing not only academic outcomes but also the social-emotional development of students. This study aims to explore the impact of the quality of teacher-student relationships on learning achievement, student motivation, and social interactions in schools. The research methodology involved a systematic review of relevant literature and analysis of relevant empirical studies. The findings indicate that a positive relationship between teachers and students significantly enhances students' academic achievement. Key factors such as trust, effective communication, emotional support, and responsiveness to individual student needs play a crucial role in forming supportive and effective relationships. Teachers who can build positive relationships can enhance students' intrinsic motivation and strengthen their engagement in the learning process. Practical implications of this research include the importance of professional development for teachers to strengthen their interpersonal skills. Schools also need to consider an active role in creating an environment that supports positive interactions between teachers and students, thereby enhancing overall student learning experiences. This study provides a deeper understanding of how teacher-student relationships can serve as a critical foundation in creating an inclusive learning environment and promoting students' holistic development. Future research could further explore specific strategies to enhance these relationships in various educational contexts.

Abstract

The influence of lesson plans is a crucial aspect in the educational context, playing an important role in improving the quality of learning. Lesson plans are structured guides used by teachers to plan and manage the learning process in the classroom. By adhering to curriculum and syllabus standards, lesson plans assist teachers in customising appropriate learning strategies to the needs and abilities of learners. This includes not only the development of subject matter but also innovative approaches to facilitate deep understanding and strengthening of learners' competencies. This study aims to analyse the effect of lesson plans on learning quality. The method used by the author in this research is a qualitative method with a literature review approach. Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) has a very important role in determining the quality of learning in schools. Well-constructed lesson plans based on the applicable curriculum can provide clear direction in the learning process, from planning, and implementation, to evaluation. Effective implementation of lesson plans can increase learner engagement and understanding, as well as assist teachers in developing learning strategies that suit the needs and characteristics of learners.

Abstract

This research aims to identify and describe various strategies for developing teacher professionalism that can be applied in various educational contexts. Teacher professionalism is very important in improving the quality of education, because teachers have a strategic role in developing students' potential. The challenges faced by teachers are increasingly complex with stechnological developments, curriculum changes, and society's demands for educational outcomes. This research uses a library research approach to analyze relevant theories and concepts. Research findings show that teacher professional development involves various aspects, including pedagogical competence, content knowledge, and educational technology capabilities. Effective professional development strategies will help teachers improve their competence, strengthen commitment, and motivate them in carrying out their duties. Thus, developing teacher professionalism is the main key in creating an effective and quality education system in Indonesia.
